Multiple Access Protocols for a Multichannel Optical Fibre Local Area Network Using a Passive Star Topology and WDM (Passive Star 토플로지와 WDM을 사용한 다중채널 광섬유 LAN을 위한 Multiple Access 르로토콜)

  • Two multiple access protocols are proposed for a multichannel WDM optical fibre local area network or metropolitan area network in which users are interconnected using a passive star topology. Each user has a single tunable transmitter and a single tunable receiver. A transmitter sends a control packet before its data packet transmission so that its intended receivers can tune to the proper data channel wavelength. The maximum throughput of the proposed protocols are independent of the effective normalized propagation delay which may include the transmitter and receiver tuning times and the processing delays. The maximum throughputs of the protocols are analyzed and compared with those of the existing ones by numerical examples. The message delay of the R- Aloha/synchronous N-server switch protocol which is suitable for the queued users is also analyzed.

  • The objective of the research was to study the effects a Miller cycle. The engine was dedicated to natural gas usage by modifying pistons, fuel system and ignition systems. The engine was installed on a dynamometer and attached with various sensors and controllers. Intake valve timing, engine speed, load, injection timing and ignition timing are main parameters. Miller Cycle without supercharging can increase brake thermal efficiency 1.08% and reduce brake specific fuel consumption 4.58%. The injection timing must be synchronous with valve timing, speed and load to control the performances, emissions and knock margin. Throughout these tested speeds, original camshaft is recommended to obtain high volumetric efficiency.

  • This paper is to develop an algorithm for the unlimited korean speech synthesis. We present the results controlled of prosodic factors with isolated words as aynthesis basis unit int he time domain. With a new pitch-synchronous and parametric speech synthesis mehtod in the time domain here we mainly present the results of controlled prosody factors such a spitch periods, energy envelops and durations and the evaluaton of synthetic speech qualities. In the case of synthesis, it is possible ot synthesize connected words by controlling of a continuous unified prosody that makes to improve the naturalities. In the results of experiment, it also has been to be improved uncontinuities of pitch and zeroing of energy in the junction parts of speech waveforms. Specially it has been to be possible to synthesize speeches with unlimitted durations and tones. So on it makes the noisiness and the clearness better by improving the degradation effects from the phase distortion due to the discontinuities in the waveform connection parts.

  • This paper presents a simulation model to analyze effects of electrical faults for the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) drive system. The major fault modes of system are investigated and an intuitive system model is developed using MATLAB/Simulink. The developed model provides useful environments to inject and remove the various faults. Simulation results show the dynamic performances of system during the transient state from normal to fault, and those will be a great help to make a system more reliable.

  • An area of severity (AOS) assessment is defined as a set of the fault positions that can result in the voltage sag bigger than certain level for sensitive buses simultaneously. Using the AOS assessment, the location of devices for compensating voltage sag can be determined as the site expected to less voltage sag at the sensitive bus. The energy storage system based on the control strategy emulating the traditional synchronous generator can contribute the fault current with fast response. Therefor are of venerability (AOV) can be reduced. The energy storage system installed by the AOS assessment has function which can experience relatively less voltage sag in addition to the conventional role of energy storage.

  • 전력 전자 공학의 발달에 의해 영구자석 동기전동기의 운전 분야가 대단히 진보되고 있음이 최근 논문을 통해서 보고 되고 있다. 영구자석 동기전송기는 크기와 중량의 감소, 저관성, 고효율 등의 장점이 있어 각종 분야의 응용에 유리하다. 본 연구는 마이크로프로세서와 전압원 인버터를 사용한 자기제어현 영구자석 동기전송기의 구동장치를 제안한다. 영구자석 동기전동기의 운전 회전자 위치를 정확히 검출하여 회전자 속도와 운전주파수를 동기화 시킴으로서 자기제어를 가능하게 한다. 고 분해능의 인크리멘탈 엔코더를 사용하여 영구자석 동기전동기에 적합한 자기제어형 PWM인버터 설계를 가능하게 하였다. 저속 영역에서 토오크 리플을 감소시키기 위해 펄스 수를 제어하였다.

  • 항로표지(Aids to Navigation)란 빛, 형상, 색채, 전파, 음향 등으로 안전한 항로를 표시하여 선박 항행의 안전성을 확보하기 위하여 인위적으로 설치하는 시설이다. 특히, 등대(Lighthouse)는 항로표지 중 가장 중요한 것으로 선박이 육지나 주요 변침점(Turning Point) 또는 선박 위치를 확인하기 위하여 연안에 설치하거나 항만의 소재, 항구 등을 나타내기 위하여 설치한 구조물이다. 본 논문에서는 선박의 입ㆍ출항에 관련하여 선박의 안전을 위해서 설치되어 있는 등대의 효율적인 관리 및 운영을 위한 등대 동기 제어 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해서, 등대 동기 제어 시스템은 하드웨어(컨트롤 박스)와 소프트웨어(제어 프로그램)로 나누어 구성하였다. 하드웨어 모듈은 등대와 선박의 입ㆍ출항에 관한 업무를 담당하는 관제소 사이의 인터페이스를 제공한다. 즉, 등대의 점멸등 제어를 위한 제어부와 등대와 관리 시스템사이의 데이터 전송을 위한 통신 인터페이스를 마이크로컨트롤러의 한 종류인 PIC(Programmable Interrupt Controller)를 이용하여 구성하였다. 소프트웨어 모듈은 시스템 운영자가 등대를 간편하고 효율적으로 관리하기 위해서 GUI(Graphical User Interface) 형태의 인터페이스를 제공한다.

  • In this paper, a hybrid maximum power tracker for a photovoltaic/wind hybrid power system is proposed. In the hybrid system, a direct interfacing the wind power system to the photovoltaic system gives the problems of voltage fluctuations, poor maximum power tracking, and harmonics generation associated with the random wind speed, the random solar irradiation and the pulsating torque came from the wind turbine synchronous generator and photovoltaic. To overcome these problems, a wind side DC/DC converter are proposed employing a star/delta transformer interconnected between the wind turbine side and the photovoltaic side. The control objective for each dc/dc converter is to extract maximum power from each different photovoltaic system and wind system, and transfer two different powers to the inverter and load.

  • This paper proposes a new full ZVS-range asymmetrical half bridge converter. It uses the variable transient current build-up technique with the load variations. The current build-up is accomplished by using the secondary synchronous switch control. Due to the blocking capacitor in secondary side, the voltage applied to leakage inductor varies with the load variations during current build-up period. Therefore, the unnecessary current build-up of leakage inductor current in heavy load condition is prevented and more current build-up in medium and light load condition is achieved for ZVS operation. That is, the variant current build-up with the load variation is accomplished for the ZVS operation. Furthermore, the DC offset of the transformer magnetizing current is also eliminated and the utilization of magnetic core is maximized.

  • 본 논문은 영구자석 교류 전동기의 센서리스 위치 오차 최소화 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 회전자의 위치오차가 최소화 하도록 회전자 속도 추정 gain을 자동으로 조정함으로써 회전자의 속도 및 위치에 대한 오차를 최소화하기 위한 방법이다. 본 논문의 구성은 회전자 위치 오차를 최소화하기 위한 제어기와 이를 회전자 속도 게인으로 활용하는 적용 대상으로 구성 되어 있다. 이는 모터의 온도 및 운전 환경에 따른 parameter의 변동에 강인하도록 제어기의 게인을 자동 설정하며 회전자의 오차를 최소화 하도록 하는 제어기를 제안한다. 또한 본 논문에서 제한하는 알고리즘을 검증하기 위하여 시뮬레이션 하였다.
