Objectives: This study aimed to design a CRA questionnaire specifically for Korean children and adolescents based on the results of two Delphi survey completed by dental professionals. Methods: Based on the CAMBRA® CRA tool, updated in 2019, we constructed a questionnaire on the oral environment and behavior of children and adolescents. Then, the CVR and I-CVI were evaluated using the results of the first and second Delphi surveys involving 20 professionals. Results: After the first Delphi survey, six items were considered invalid because their CVR and I-CVI were below the recommended values of 0.42 and 0.78, respectively. After receiving feedback from the professional panels, nine items were removed. In the second Delphi survey, the questionnaire contained a total of 21 items, all of which showed good CVR and I-CVI. After modifications based on the opinions of professional panels, the questionnaire was finalized to have 21 questions. Conclusions: The finalized questionnaire with 21 items, based on the opinions of professional panels, showed excellent CVR and I-CVI for all the items. Structured programs with updated guidelines must be developed for Korean children and adolescents in further studies.
This study was to develop a screening tool to identify the pregnant women who are required to have a concrete checkup or education about preterm birth. The items for the screening tool were drafted from literature review and the result of interviews with women who are hospitalized after preterm delivery based on the biopsychosocial framework. The validity and reliability of the items was performed after the content validity and the pilot survey. The screening tool for the risk of preterm birth in pregnant women was consisted of two parts. One was consisted of 9-items for the biomedical risks and another one was consisted of 17-items for the psycho-physical risks. The screening tool for the risk of preterm birth in pregnant women reveals valid and reliable. It could be applied to identify the pregnant women who have some risks of preterm birth.

This study is intended to develop a reliable and appropriate instrument of the clinical nursing education. This research consisted of 4 steps. First step is construction of the content validity by 1 Korean literature professor and 1 teaching professor in Ga Chon Gil College, the pilot study for the content validity by 14 professors and survey with four points Likert Scale, which includes from the point 'strongly valid' to the point of 'strongly non-valid', by 113 head nurses who guide and evaluate the students in clinical practice. The third step is the test of validity and reliability of the preliminary evaluation tool. The fourth step is the test of validity and reliability of the developmental evaluation tool. The data were collected from Sep. 10th, 2001 to Sep. 28th, 2001. This study was analyzed by SPSS PC+ for descriptive statistics, factor analysis and Cronbach's Co-efficient Alpha of the collected data. The results of these analysis are like as follows. 1. Evaluation tool of Clinical practice consists of 16 items including four categories : factor 1 was labeled 'desirable attitude'(5 items), factor 2 was labeled 'correctly judgement and nursing problem solving'(4 items), factor 3 was labeled 'adaptive ability of nursing knowledge and skill'(4 items), factor 4 was labeled 'desirable human relationship'(3 items) and these contributed 71.992% of the variance in the total score. 2. Cronbach's Co-efficient Alpha for internal consistency was .9128 for the total 16 items. For further research, it need to develop a variable and reliable instrument of the student self-evaluation and instrument that based on community.
Purpose: Rome criteria are considered the gold standard for diagnosing functional constipation. The modified Bristol stool form scale (m-BSFS) was validated to measure stool form in children. However, neither the potential use of the m-BSFS as a tool to facilitate the diagnosis of potential constipation, nor the agreement between m-BSFS and stool consistency by Rome has been studied. Our objective is to determine if m-BSFS is a reliable tool to facilitate detection of constipation; and the agreement between stool form by m-BSFS and hard stool criteria in Rome. Methods: A survey tool with the Rome III criteria and the m-BSFS was developed. A Likert-scale addressed frequency of each stool form on the m-BSFS. Responses to Rome III and m-BSFS were compared. Results: The sensitivity and specificity of the m-BSFS was 79.2% and 66.0% respectively; and in children <4 years. improved to 81.2% and 75.0% respectively. There was poor agreement between hard stools by m-BSFS and the painful or hard bowel movement question of Rome Criteria. Conclusion: The potential utility of m-BSFS as a reasonably good tool to facilitate the diagnosis of potential constipation in children is shown. The poor agreement between painful or hard stool question in Rome III, and ratings for hard stool on the m-BSFS illustrates that one's perception may differ between a question and a picture. A useful pictorial tool to appraise stool form may, thus, be a favorable complement in the process of enquiry about bowel habits in well-child care.

Because the existing Skemp's play activities learning has only been done on the offline, the hassles of learning paper production, the understanding of achievement levels, and the difficulty of feedback and compensation have been pointed out as a serious problem. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop web-based learning tool applied the Skemp's play activities for elementary school students who learn mathematical skills easily in the web environment. To demonstrate the effectiveness of implemented web-based learning tool, we have analyzed questionnaire survey conducted for academic achievement of the third grade elementary school students. The analysis results show that for improving the ability of multiplication and division operation, the learning using web-based tool applied the Skemp's play activities is more effective than the learning based on the existing educational process and the result is statistically significant at the 5% significance level.

The 2015 revised national curriculum includes SW courses to improve computational thinking, and a variety of physical computing tools for learning are on sale for use in education. The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for selecting physical computing tool for learning suitable for learning situations and learning purposes, and to provide a reasonable basis for judging the choice of tools in the field. Delphi survey method was used as a reference method for developing evaluation criteria through 25 expert panels. As a result, the criterion of evaluation of the learning tool composed of 40 essential and 11 selection criteria for 7 domains was presented. In addition, the evaluation results of five kinds of learning tools commercialized through the evaluation criteria of the learning tool were analyzed. The evaluation criteria for the learning tools developed through this study are expected to help teachers select rational learning tools and help learning tool developers develop learning tools.
The purpose of this study was to develop a tool to assess the powerlessness and to measure the powerlessness of elderly. From the result of pre-test, twenty seven items were finally selected to survey the elderly's powerlessness. The questionnaires on the elderly's powerlessness were drafted so that such tool may be evaluated in accordance with the four point Likert Scale. The number of subjects is 1,150 with ages of 60 years or more and who live in a large city, a small and middle-sized city and a rural area. The subjects of the test and retest were 85 elderlies. Collected data were analyzed by utilizing SAS program with Cronbach's $\alpha$ and Pearson's correlation, factor analysis method and known group techniques, descriptive statics, t-test and ANOVA. The results from this study were summarized below:1. When the factor analysis method was applied for validity, the tool for powerlessness of elderly was separated into 5 factors: loss of self-confidence to deal with physical, emotional, social aspects of life; expulsion by others from meaningful human relate; perception that life is meaningless and time passes quickly; falling behind young people; being rejected by other people, having no influence on others. An application of the known group technique showed a significant difference with the result of the degree of elderly's powerlessness tools developed by the two groups, with illness and without. 2. In testing reliability, it was found that coefficient of test-retest was .9435(P<.0001) when the test-retest method was used as a test of stability, and that the alpha coefficient of internal consistency was .9141 over all items within the tool of elderly's powerlessness 3. In powerlessness of elderly, total mean is 2.8493. And in factor of powerlessness, the highest factor is falling behind young people (M=3.1713), the lowest factor is loss of self- confidence to deal with physical, emotional, social aspects of life(M=2.6080). 4. The results from the test for the degree of powerlessness, according to the subject's demographic variables, showed that there were significant differences between age, sex, marital status, educational level, religion, possession of house, job, monthly pocket money, health status, illness and a place of residence.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: As the prevalence of chronic diseases has risen, the need for straightforward diagnostic tools for monitoring nutrition status to improve nutrition counseling and disease prevention has likewise increased. This study developed an easily usable dietary behavior pattern diagnosis checklist and investigated its correlation with dietary quality index. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A draft dietary pattern evaluation tool was generated by analyzing previous studies. The draft questionnaire comprised 61 questions for assessing dietary habits. A survey was administered to 320 adults (19 to 64 years old) using the dietary pattern evaluation tool and 24-hour-recall method between March and May of 2014 in Jeonbuk province and the metropolitan area. Principal component analysis with varimax rotation was performed to identify dietary behavior patterns. Nutritional analysis was conducted using CAN-Pro 4.0, and the Diet Quality Index-International (DQI-I) was calculated to assess dietary quality. The correlation between dietary pattern scores and DQI-I scores was also analyzed. RESULTS: The factor analysis resulted in a total of 34 questions mapped to four main dietary behavior patterns: "high fat and calorie" pattern (12 questions), "overeating/binge" pattern (nine questions), "dietary impulse" pattern (eight questions), and "unbalanced food intake" pattern (five questions). The four dietary behavior patterns were negatively correlated with DQI-I adequacy and total scores (P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The dietary pattern evaluation tool developed in this study can be used to diagnose a client's dietary behavior problems and is available as a nutrition counseling tool in the field.
For a further understanding of the Chinese consumer, this study investigated 1) the effects of aesthetic consciousness on make-up attitude, and 2) the differences in the effect of aesthetics consciousness on make-up attitude among age groups. An online survey was conducted on female consumers belonging to the post-80s and 90s generations, living in Xian China. SPSS 24.0 and Amos 18.0 was used for data analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis for the research variables were performed and three factors of aesthetic consciousness (social relations consideration, internal consideration, and external consideration), and four factors of make-up attitude (psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, consciousness of others, and tool of transformation) were identified. The results from the model test were : 1) aesthetics consciousness was found to vary depending on make-up attitude. Social relations consideration had a positive effects on psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, and tool of transformation. Internal consideration had a positive effect on self-satisfaction and tool of transformation, and a negative effect on psychological pleasure. External consideration had positive effects on all four factors of make-up attitude. 2) In the post-80s participants, social relations consideration and external consideration had positive effects on all four factors of make-up attitude. Internal consideration s had a negative effect on consciousness of others and a positive effect on tool of transformation. In the post-90s participants, social relations consideration had positive effects on psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, and tool of transformation. Internal consideration had positive effects on psychological pleasure and self-satisfaction.
When companies or institutes manage data, in order to utilize it as useful resources for decision-making, it is essential to offer precise and reliable data. While most small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutes have been investing a great amount of money in management and maintenance of their data systems, the investment in data management has been inadequate. When public institutions establish their data systems, inspection has been constantly carried out on the data systems in order to improve safety and effectiveness. However, their capabilities in improving the quality of data have been insufficient. This study develops an automatic tool to diagnose the quality of data in a way to diagnose the data quality condition of the inspected institute quantitatively at the stage of design and closure by inspecting the data system and proves its practicality by applying the automatic tool to inspection. As a means to diagnose the quality, this study categorizes, in the aspect of quality characteristics, the items that may be improved through diagnosis at the stage of design, the early stage of establishing the data system and the measurement items by the quality index regarding measurable data values at the stage of establishment and operation. The study presents a way of quantitative measurement regarding the data structures and data values by concretizing the measurement items by quality index in a function of the automatic tool program. Also, the practicality of the tool is proved by applying the tool in the inspection field. As a result, the areas which the institute should improve are reported objectively through a complete enumeration survey on the diagnosed items and the indicators for quality improvement are presented quantitatively by presenting the quality condition quantitatively.
