장기요양기관 내 위험발생가능성, 감정노동, 감성리더십이 요양보호사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Possibility of Job-related Risk, Emotional Labor, and Emotional Leadership on Turnover Intention of Caregivers in Long-term Care Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 위험관리의 측면에서 장기요양기관 내 위험발생가능성, 감정노동, 감성리더십이 요양보호사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 후 이에 기초하여 이직의도를 감소시키려는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 노인요양시설 요양보호사 434명에 대한 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 자료에 대한 위계적 중다회귀분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 요양보호사가 경영위험 및 종사자위험 발생가능성을 높게 인식할수록 이직의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회재해위험 발생가능성은 이직의도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 업무위험 발생가능성은 이직의도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 영향의 방향은 연구가설과는 반대였다. 둘째, 요양보호사가 감정노동의 표면행위를 수행할수록 이직의도가 높아졌으며, 내면행위는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 마지막으로, 요양보호사가 상사의 감성리더십 수준이 높다고 인식할수록 이직의도가 낮아지는 것으로 나타나 조직 내 리더십의 중요성을 다시 한 번 확인하였다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 요양보호사의 이직을 예방하고 장기요양기관의 서비스 질을 향상시키기 위한 제언을 하였다.

희망증진 집단 상담치료가 암환자의 불안 우울 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Group Psychotherapy for Promotion of Hope on Anxiety, Depression, and Quality of Life in Cancer Patients)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to develop a program adapted to cancer patients with reality therapy and evaluate the efficacy for anxiety, depression and quality of life in cancer patients. Methods: We developed a group psychotherapy, the promotion of hope program (PHP) adapted reality therapy and evaluated if it is effective on improving anxiety, depression, and quality of life in cancer patients. Results: PHP decreased anxiety (9.54 vs. 5.62, p<0.01) and depression (8.84 vs. 5.84, p<0.01) of cancer patients, and improved quality of life (3.77 vs. 4.13, p<0.01). Qualitative analysis results also showed the same supportive results. Conclusions: PHP can be an effective program for cancer patients to explore inner world and improve their own self-confidence.

한의학 교육과정 변화의 조건 탐색 - 통합교육과정을 중심으로 - (Exploring the Conditions that will Allow for Change in Traditional Korean Medicine Curricula - Focusing on the Integrated Curriculum -)

  • Objectives : To suggest conditions that will allow for change in Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) curricula through analysis of the failure of widespread acceptance of the integrated curriculum into all Traditional Medicine Colleges. Methods : First, the process of change between TKM education and medical education was compared. Next, the conditions that would stimulate change in TKM curricula were analyzed in three levels: structure, policy, and actor. Results : TKM colleges have not experienced a structural change from the six-year to four-year structure. The accreditation standards of TKM education (KAS2021) should be more supportive instead of forcing change, and the goals should be reset to education improvement instead of meeting the standards of WFME. The deans' leadership and professors' ownership over their subjects need to be modified. A group of professionals that could lead change is required, while other factors such as full-time professorships, clinical practice hours, obligatory teaching hours and overall teaching environment need to be improved. Conclusions : It would be ideal if individual TKM colleges created success models of curricula change-despite the time and effort that is required-that could spread to other colleges. After the new curriculum has been accepted in more that half of the total eleven TKM colleges, an institutional isomorphism can be demanded.

합동작전환경의 추세와 적용방안 (Trends of Joint Operational Environment and their Implications)

  • Today's world is generation of Transformation. The Term "Transformation" is widely used in many nations and international organizations such as U.S. and NATO to describe the course of change undertaken by militaries to respond to the new and emerging security environment. Transformation involves all elements of the defense enterprise including Operational Environment, Operational Concepts, Doctrine, Structure and Technologies, within a supportive Cultures context. An Operational Environment is defined as "a composite of conditions, circumstances, and influences that affect the employment of military forces and bear on the decisions of the unit commander." The context for developing future military concept and capability lies essentially within the anticipated boundaries of the operational environment in a collective sense. The joint operational environment is essential to the nation's defense. It describes volatile, complex, and dangerous environment in which the military personnel. organizations, and material will operate. Implications coming forth from joint Operational Environment are but a starting point - many others exist. More and better Implications will come forth as people think about massages of Operational Environment, experiment its characteristics, learn to deal with its threats and scenarios, apply their experience and judgement, and then consider what is required of Korean military doctrine, organizations, training and education, material development, and leadership for operations in the joint Operational Environment.

종합병원의 간호업무환경이 간호사의 직무배태성, 소진에 미치는 영향 (Effects of General Hospital Nurses' Work Environment on Job Embeddedness and Burnout)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate and identify work environment, job embeddedness, and burnout among general hospital nurses in Korea. Methods: The participants were 563 clinical nurses working in 13 general hospitals across the country. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel programs. Results: Mean scores were 2.62 for nurses' work environment, 2.97 for job embeddedness, and 3.61 for burnout. Nurses' work environment showed a positive correlation with job embeddedness (r=.70, p<.001), but a negative correlation with burnout (r=-.49, p<.001). Subcategories of nurses' work environment that predicted job embeddedness included satisfaction and happiness, hospital support for the work environment, patient care environment, satisfaction with work schedule, manager leadership, supportive environment for nurses' work, and computer problems. Subcategories of nurses' work environment that predicted burnout included satisfaction and happiness, violence within ward, hospital support for work environment, and patient care environment. Conclusion: Findings from this study indicate the need to evaluate and improve the work environment for nurses to increase job embeddedness and control burnout. Future studies should explore ways in which turnover intention can be decreased by changing nurses' work environment.

대학 기숙사 시설의 사용자 만족도 향상을 위한 효율적인 유지보수관리(O&M) 방안 제안 (Suggestions on Efficient O&M Plan for Improving Users' Satisfaction on the University Dorm Facilities)

  • An university dorm has significant implications in terms of providing residential, living, and learning spaces. With its supportive function, a dorm enables each university to provide higher level of education. The operation & maintenance(O&M) condition of the dorm has a decisive effect on the students' satisfaction. Accordingly, high levels of O&M services should be performed for students. However, Korean dorms are being operated and maintained by their own O&M guidelines without the consideration of spatial characteristics of dorm facilities and the comprehensive and systematic understanding on effective O&M processes. Given the fact that dorm facility can be a crucial factor in determining the entire quality of university and its O&M condition is closely related to the satisfaction of students, it is imperative that we need to pay more attention to the O&M condition and services. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to improve dorm students' satisfaction levels by applying different O&M method, preventive maintenance rather than reactive maintenance which has been performed so far. In ordering for doing it, 'Facility Management(FM) Standard' from KS, 'Facility Performance Indicator(FPI)' from APPA: Leadership in educational facilities and 'Building O&M Inspection Manual' from Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport were analyzed to come up with 15 significant O&M factors. After extracting O&M factors, the survey was conducted to determine importance rate and performance rate of each O&M factor. Using the Important-Performance Analysis(IPA), the priority of 15 O&M factors was established. The result of this research will be helpful for the efficient dorm facility O&M services and for facility managers to appropriately allocate the limited resources and human power.

한국의 간호교육과정 경향과 전망 (The trend of Current Nursing Curriculum in Korea and it's perspectives for the future)

  • This review article provides the trend of current nursing curriculum of todays in Korea and its perspectives. This article reviewed 5 aspects of the current nursing curriculum for the undergraduate program, those are the (1)educational philosophy and believes (2)the nursing concepts revealed in the current nursing curriculum (3)the educational goals and objectives (4)the framework of nursing curriculum (5)the syllabus and credit hours. The common nursing concepts in the current nursing curriculum are Nursing, Human being, Environment/society, Health, Nursing science. The examplary vertical concepts composing of the current nursing curriculum are nursing process, life styles and the horizontal concepts are client, health promotion /recovery /maintenance, leadership, and research. The common subjects composing of the nursing syllabus are the introductory subjects(nursing history, nursing professionalism, foundamental nursing), and the supportive subjects (communication, human relationship, human growth and development, health education, etc) and nursing research, the intrductory basic sciences (anatomy, physiology etc.), and the major nursing subjects (adult nursing, child nursing, maternity nursing, psychiatric nursng, community nursing, nursing administration.) In order to have more advanced nursing education, the suggestions were provided as follows : (1) It is necessary to have revision and evaluation of the process and the structure of the current nursing curriculum periodically. (2) The concept of health promotion for all human being should be integrated into the nursing curriculum. (3) The nursing education program should be unified into baccalauliate level to get one type of nurse-registration system. (4) The nursing courses will need to provide the necessary contemporary Informations to allow the nurses to fuction efficiently in this rapidly changing era. (5) The use of new technology in nursing education is necessary to expand nursing education more.

사회복지조직의 조직효과성 연구경향 분석 (Organizational Effectiveness of Social Welfare Organizations: What Can We Learn From Past Research? A Review)

  • 본 연구는 1980년 이후 사회복지조직의 효과성 연구를 다룬 논문 20편의 연구경향을 파악함으로써 사회복지조직의 조직현상에 대한 이해 도모, 조직관리에의 실천적 함의 제공 및 향후 사회복지조직의 조직효과성 연구에 대한 제언을 하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 대부분의 연구가 사회복지관과 생활시설을 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 조직효과성의 이론적 기반으로 내부과정접근모델이 가장 많이 적용되고 있어, 향후 사회복지조직의 성장과 외부의 요구에 부응하기 위해서는 다양한 조직과 지표 및 연구방법론의 활용이 필요한 것으로 파악되었다. 조직관리 측면에서 조직효과성에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 집단적 개발적 조직문화, 분권적 조직구조, 변혁적 리더십, 외부와의 개방적 관계 활용을 제안하였다.

과학 경험을 통해 얻은 과학 영재 어머니의 양육 방법에 대한 인식 탐색 (Exploring the Recognition of Parenting Methods of Science Gifted Mother through Science Experience)

  • 본 연구는 과학 영재인 자녀를 둔 어머니를 대상으로, 이들의 자녀와의 과학 경험을 통해 과학 영재인 자녀의 성장과 발전을 위해 어떠한 양육 방법을 효과적으로 인식하고 있는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 교육청 영재 교육원 어머니 13명을 섭외하여, 이들과 2회에 걸쳐 개별 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 과학 영재의 어머니는 과학 영재인 자녀와 함께 다양한 과학 경험을 하는 과정에서 영재인 자녀를 이해하고 영재의 생각과 선택을 존중하게 되었고, 자녀의 잠재력과 재능을 성장, 발현할 수 있는 교육 환경을 제공해 주거나 진로의 방향을 결정하는데 도움을 주는 것이 필요하다고 인식하게 되었다. 이를 위해서는 사람 사이의 관계의 중요성을 일깨워 주는 리더십 교육, 자신이 원하는 삶을 결정할 수 있도록 다양한 경험의 기회 제공, 깊이 있는 과학 경험의 탐색과 선배 과학자와의 만남을 통한 진로 교육, 통합적 사고를 위한 인문학과 예술을 융합한 교육이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 이를 통해, 과학 영재의 어머니들에게 과학 영재 자녀들이 지적, 정서적으로 성장 발달하기 위해 제공해야 하는 다양한 지원방식과 교육 방법에 대한 구체적인 방향을 제시할 수 있는 심도 깊은 연구 결과의 제공과 과학영재 부모를 위한 교육 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.
