혈관 윤곽의 자동적 식별을 위한 방향성 기반의 적응적 추적 알고리즘 (Adaptive Tracking Algorithm Based on Direction Field for Automated Identification of Vessel Contour)

  • This paper presents vessel contour for extracting features and segmentating narrow blood vessels down to a diameter of two pixels in digital subtraction angiographic image. We present a new tracking algorithm for contour, mainly blood vessels in DSA image, and extracting properties such as their intensities, diameters, and center lines by exploiting spatial continuity. The proposed algorithm comes to detect blood vessel's boundary using difference edge detector one of homogeneity operator and find a next centerline position by direction vector of edge information. This algorithm enhanced variation of vessel's diameter compared to Sun's tracking algorithm and lessoned to compute as direction vector decide adaptively entire vessel's direction field. The processed images are intended to support radiologists in diagnosis, radiation therapy planning, and surgical planning. The algorithm should be useful for automating angiographic analyses of blood vessels.

  • Prototypes of a design are always needed for the purpose of visualization and evaluation in the aspect of manufacturability functionality, and aesthetic appearance. Since the prototyping process requires a significant amount of cost and time, various rapid prototyping processes are recently being introduced in the process. However, it is usually necessary for a part built up by a rapid prototyping system to be refined by a post-processing process, in which the stair steps on the surfaces, the support structures (if they exist), and the unprocessed material are eliminated. This post-processing is usually done manually and is a time-consuming task. Especially, eliminating the trapped volumes, the volume of the unprocessed material entrapped by the solidified portion, is sometimes impossible in some processes. This study provides a designer with a tool to detect the existence and to calculate the quantity of the trapped volumes at the given build-up direction, so that the proper build-up direction is chosen or the part is built by pieces to avoid the problems caused by the trapped volumes in advance. Since the proposed algorithm can efficiently calculate the amount of the trapped volumes at any build-up direction, it has the potential of such application as optimizing the build-up direction to minimize the trapped volumes.

  • 본 논문에서 무선 ATM LAN 환경에서 기지국 기반 기법의 루프 제거 및 경로 최적화 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 경로 최적화 알고리즘은 다각 루프 제거법과 삼각 루프 제거법의 두 단계로 이루어져 있다. 단말기의 이동각을 고려한 순서쌍의 기념을 도입하여 핸드오버하는 단말기의 위치를 표현하고, 계산된 순서쌍을 이용하여 경로 최적화를 수행한다. 우리는 핸드오버 지연 시간, 통신 단절 시간, 버퍼 요구량, 그리고 총시그널링 교환 시간 등을 이용하여 제안하는 기법과 앵커 재라우팅 기법을 비교하였다. 이러한 비교 평가를 통하여 제안하는 기법이 경로 확장 기법의 장점인 빠른 핸드오버를 보장하면서 경로 상에서 발생하는 루프의 제거와 경로의 최적화를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있음을 보였다.

탑상형 아파트의 배치방향별 봄철 실내온도 비교평가 (Comparative Evaluation of Indoor Temperature in Spring according to Sitting Orientation of Tower-Type Apartments)

  • It is usual for energy consumption in accordance with facing and sitting direction of tower-type apartments to be calculated by the official statistics or computer simulation. Previous studies for energy consumption appear to be very limited due to the dependence on flat type of apartment. Acknowledging these constraints, an empirical study for a tower type apartment was conducted to demonstrate how a on-site indoor temperature measurement in spring can be used to assist in estimating the total energy consumption in terms of facing and sitting orientation specific settings. The results indicate that maximum temperature difference in spring was identified as $1.16^{\circ}C$ between south and eastern direction. It is known that raising $1^{\circ}C$ indoor temperature require 7% more energy consumption than normal. The $1.16^{\circ}C$ difference means that sitting direction of tower type apartment is a crucial explanatory variable as unit of analysis for energy consumption. It was demonstrated that the indoor temperature could be used effectively as an indicator to estimate energy consumption among various sitting direction of tower type apartments. It is anticipated that this research output could be used as a valuable reference to support more scientific and objective decision-making for facing and sitting orientation of tower type apartments.

통신 신호 방향 탐지를 위한 광대역 다중 채널 수신기 개발 (Development of Wideband Multi-Channel Receiver for Direction Finding of Communication Signals)

  • In wireless environments, wideband receivers are used in a communication intelligent system to detect unknown signals and obtain azimuth information. To design a wideband receiver that performs multiple signal detection and direction finding simultaneously, it is necessary to consider a reception structure composed of multiple channels. In this paper, we propose a wideband multi-channel receiver for direction finding of unknown wideband communication signals including frequency hopping signals. A signal processing method for detecting received signals and estimating azimuth information is presented, and components of the manufactured wideband receiver are described. In addition, test results of the signal detection performance by mounting the proposed wideband multi-channel receiver on the flight system are included.

민간부문의 노인복지주택 공급 활성화를 위한 방향성 제안 (A Study of Proposal of Direction to Promote the Supply of Senior Welfare Housing in the Private Sector)

  • Purpose: In our country, the aged population accounted for about 13% of the total population in 2018. In addition, it is expected to exceed 20% in 2026, entering an super-aged society. However, the senior welfare housing in Korea currently accommodates only 0.08% of the elderly population, and the increasing amount of the elderly population is very small. Accordingly, this study aims to analyze the causes of supply shortages and to propose directions for revitalizing the supply of welfare housing for the elderly in the private sector. Methods: First, the causes and problems of the poor supply of welfare housing for the elderly were analyzed. Next, the direction was proposed through institutional and case-by-case surveys and expert interviews. Results: It suggested directions such as legal and institutional improvement, inducing the use of REITs, preparing policies to support consumers, allocating a certain percentage of senior welfare housing for the elderly in the reconstruction project, improving awareness of monthly living expenses, and re-discussing sales permits. Implications: Experts said that the direction proposed in this study can have a positive effect on supply activation. However, there were many opinions that re-discussion on permission for sales was necessary due to the excessive impact of the inability to sell. In addition, further research is needed for specific application of the proposed direction.

IMU 원신호 기반의 기계학습을 통한 충격전 낙상방향 분류 (Classification of Fall Direction Before Impact Using Machine Learning Based on IMU Raw Signals)

  • As the elderly population gradually increases, the risk of fatal fall accidents among the elderly is increasing. One way to cope with a fall accident is to determine the fall direction before impact using a wearable inertial measurement unit (IMU). In this context, a previous study proposed a method of classifying fall directions using a support vector machine with sensor velocity, acceleration, and tilt angle as input parameters. However, in this method, the IMU signals are processed through several processes, including a Kalman filter and the integration of acceleration, which involves a large amount of computation and error factors. Therefore, this paper proposes a machine learning-based method that classifies the fall direction before impact using IMU raw signals rather than processed data. In this study, we investigated the effects of the following two factors on the classification performance: (1) the usage of processed/raw signals and (2) the selection of machine learning techniques. First, as a result of comparing the processed/raw signals, the difference in sensitivities between the two methods was within 5%, indicating an equivalent level of classification performance. Second, as a result of comparing six machine learning techniques, K-nearest neighbor and naive Bayes exhibited excellent performance with a sensitivity of 86.0% and 84.1%, respectively.

대학생들의 그릿과 취업준비행동에 취업지원 프로그램이 미치는 효과 (Effect of Employment Support Program on College Student's Grit and Employment Preparation Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 그릿과 취업준비행동에 취업지원 프로그램이 미치는 효과를 확인하고, 프로그램 후 경험, 변화와 취업지원에 대한 요구를 확인하였다. 연구대상자는 취업지원 프로그램에 참여한 총 39명의 자료를 분석하였으며, 취업지원 프로그램은 2022년 8월 29일부터 8주간 진행하였다. 프로그램 전후로 설문을 실시하였고, 이후 8명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 자료분석은 기술적 통계, t-test를 시행하였으며, 면담 내용을 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자는 취업지원 프로그램 시행 후 취업준비행동이 유의하게 증가하였고, 취업지원 프로그램이 현실적인 취업 준비와 방향성 설정에 도움이 되었으며, 취업에 대한 자신감이 향상되었다고 하였다. 따라서 대학생들의 취업역량을 향상시키기 위한 취업지원 프로그램의 확대운영과 맞춤형 취업지원이 필요하다.

공동주택 리모델링 수요에 대응한 정책 추진방안 (Policy Direction in Responses to Demand for Apartment Remodeling)

  • This study aims to seek a proper policy direction in response to the demand for apartment remodeling. As the research methods, we diagnosed the current status of the remodeling policy and analyzed the demand for apartment remodeling nationwide. According to the result of analysis, we suggested the fundamental direction and tasks for remodeling policies to be pursued at the government level. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the result of analysis showed that the demand for environmental improvement(performance improvement) remodeling project was much higher than other types of remodeling projects. The percentage of unit increased-type remodeling that can secure business feasibility is about 10% and only 30% when it comes to reducing project costs. The remaining 70-90% need to be promoted in environmental improvement remodeling projects which dependent on the residents' payment. Second, in order to prepare a policy action plan in response to the demand for apartment remodeling, it is necessary to set up clear policy goals and strategies for apartment remodeling in advance at the national level. Along with proactive goals and strategies, graded policy support should be accompanied per type of remodeling and business demand. We also suggest to simplify administrative procedures and support the R&D research to develop technologies. It would help to utilize the unit increased-type remodeling. On the other hand, for utilizing the environmental improvement remodeling which takes up a relatively high proportion, the policy should take care of as follows: offering housing performance information, rationalizing long term repair reserve, fostering small companies and experts. Finally, apartment management system should be advanced from the perspectives of managing old apartments and institutional foundations such as new construction and customized regulations for differentiated remodeling should be accompanied.

한국에서의 범죄피해자 지원에 관한 연구 개관 및 방향제안 (A Critical Review of Research Studies on Crime Victim Support in Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국 내 범죄피해자 지원에 관한 연구들을 개관하고 동향을 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 KERIS, KISS 및 NANET에 등록된 학술지를 대상으로 '범죄피해자 지원', '범죄피해자 개입', 'Victims of Crime Support'의 키워드로 검색된 논문 중 선정기준을 충족하는 최종 314개의 문헌을 분석하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 연구물의 수는 범죄피해 관련법과 대책이 발표된 이후 사회적 논의가 활발해지는 기점을 중심으로 증가해오다가 최근 2년간 다시 감소된 양상을 보였다. 연구 방법에서는 질적 연구가 대부분이며, 연구주제로는 법률 및 정책과 관련된 연구수가 가장 많았다. 범죄피해유형에서는 성폭력, 가정폭력 관련 연구물이, 범죄피해 소수집단 연구대상으로는 아동 및 청소년이 가장 많았다. 마지막으로, 범죄피해자지원 기관에서 이루어진 연구 중, 심리적 지원과 관련된 연구들의 빈도수가 상대적으로 적었다. 본 연구는 향후 범죄피해자 지원연구 중 심리적 지원과 관련된 실증경험연구들의 필요성을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
