The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of organizational culture on subjective well-being in organization. For this, this study surveyed organizational culture and subjective well-being those 142 workers experienced. CVM(Competing Value Model) and COMOSWB(Concise Measure of Subjective Well-Being) were used to measure them. The results were as follows: First, organizational culture had a significant influence on the subjective well-being(p<.001) in the organization and explained it as 28.4%. Only group culture had a significant positive influence on the subjective well-being(p<.001). On the other hand, hierarchical culture, developmental culture and rational culture had no significant influence on subjective well-being. Second, organizational culture had a significant positive influence on satisfaction(p<.001) and positive emotion(p<.001), but had a negative influence on negative emotion(p<.05) which are the factors of subjective well-being, and explained them as 35.3%, 26.0% and 5.1%. Only group culture had a significant positive influence on satisfaction(p<.001) and positive emotion(p<.001), but had negative influence on negative emotion(p<.01). Based on the drawn results, this study provides practical and theoretical implications and suggests further studies.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of culture and arts activities (experience, type, frequency) and participation motivation on subjective well-being and to investigate the mediating effects of learning motivation. For this study, the subject is limited to adults who are leading consumers of culture and art activities can decide what activity to do. By survey, data from 1,000 respondents are used for analysis after applying proportional sampling based on the proportion of sex and age indicated in the population statistics. Exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted based on the collected data using SPSS v.22.0. The results obtained from the empirical analysis are as follows. First, regarding culture and art activities (experience, type, frequency) and subjective well-being, the results are as follows. H1. Those who experienced culture and arts activities have higher subjective well-being than non-experienced ones. H2. Participating in culture and art activity increases subjective well-being more than just spectating culture and art programs. H3. Heavy participants in culture and art activities have higher subjective well-being than lighter participants. These results indicate that culture and art activities are important variables that have a positive effect on subjective well-being. Therefore, participating in culture and art activities may be an appropriate way to enhance subjective well-being because they are life experiences that individuals can experience in their daily lives. Second, H4. internal motivation and external motivation, sub-factors of participation motivation in culture and art activities, have a positive effect on subjective well-being, and amotivation has a negative effect on subjective well-being. Therefore, in order to improve subjective well-being, it is important to strive to lower amotivation and increase internal and external motivation. Third, H5. learning motivation has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between participation motivation in culture and art activities and subjective well-being. This result suggests that culture and art activities and education might be helpful for subjective well-being when they are conducted together since participation motivation in culture.

The paper sets the goal as understanding relationship between usability and subjective preference with the cross- cultural comparison between korea and Japan. Total 42 Korean and japanese housewives participated in the experiment where subjects evaluated their subjective preferences on 16 different variations of computer-simulated microwave ovens. In additions, subjects also performed usability testing over 9 different microwave ovens with 6 different tasks given to users. Subjective preferences and usability were analyzed by Conjoint analysis to identify relative importance of features. The results showed that, in case of Korean subjects, subjective preference has positive relationship with usability (i.e. aesthetically good product also showed better performance in usability testing).However, Japanese subjects showed the tendency that subjectively preferred products are not necessarily evaluated good in usability testing (i.e. god aesthetic is one thing and high usability is another). this difference leads the speculation that culture plays a role in balancing the relationship between aesthetic and functionality.
This study explored the moderating effects of social supports (family support, home friends support, foreign friends support) and cultural identity (home identity, foreign identity) on the relationships of reverse culture shock and subjective well-being. Participants were 157 returnees who left home-country prior to the age of 19 and resided in the foreign-country for more than three years. The results of hierarchical regression analyses on two-way interaction effect between reverse culture shock and each hypothesized moderator (e.g., family support, home friends support, foreign friends support, home identity, foreign identity) indicated that reverse cultural shock and subjective well-being was negatively related and their relationship was moderated only by family support. Specifically, the relationship between reverse culture shock and subjective well-being was weaker when the level of family support was higher. Subsequently, three-way interaction among reverse culture shock, one of the social support factors, and one of the cultural identity factors was investigated using hierarchical regression analyses. The results showed that the three-way interaction among reverse culture shock, family support, and home identity was significant. The slope difference tests yielded that the relationship between reverse culture shock and subjective well-being was stronger when both levels of family support and home identity were lower compared to when either level of family support or home identity was higher. These results imply that environmental factors such as family support and intrapsychic factor such as home identity might function as a buffer against the negative consequences of reverse culture shock experience.
The purpose of this study was to measure the causal relationships among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude and meat consumption behavior. A total of 318 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal relationships among the constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on attitude were statistically significant. The effects of affective belief, environmental belief and subjective norm on meat consumption were statistically significant. As expected, attitude had a significant effects on behavioral intention. Moreover, attitude played a mediating role in the relationship between affective belief and meat consumption, environmental belief and meat consumption, subjective norm and meat consumption. Consumption played a mediating role in the relationship between attitude and behavioral intention. In conclusion, based on structural analysis, a model was proposed of interrelations among affective belief, environmental belief, subjective norm, attitude, meat consumption and intention. It should be noted that the original model was modified and should, preferably, be validated in future research. Other variables may be incorporated to form models that consist of new antecedent and consequence pairs.
The paper is about teaching culture in a language learning. There are many teachers who are afraid of teaching foreign language with culture. They are delighted to teach politics, economics, history, art and literature as objective culture. But they are hesitant to teach subjective culture which is connected with a communication competency. The paper suggests three stages to instruct culture in a schoolroom. The first stage, it is growing out of the self-centered view. The second step, be developing self-consciousness through comparing mother culture with target culture. The last stage, it has to response to appropriately target culture. The teaching materials for the model suggested are two movies. Because the cultural aspects in the moves are subjective culture, so it has something in common with target cultural situations in a language learning. This method which is teaching culture in a the language learning has the advantage of being easy to teachers and learners. Most students like to watch a movie. The teaching material is The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe와 Guess Who?. I hope that this suggestion for cultural teaching is helpful for understanding each other.
This study was intended to analyze the wearing practices and the subjective fabrics preferences for men's dress shirts. It was performed by means of convenience sampling survey of male office workers wearing dress shirts who were living in Seoul, Geonggi, and Chungcheong area. Collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS. The results were as follows: Most of the male office workers owned 5 dress shirts, and blue color dress shirts were preferred to white one. It was shown that most of the respondents wore dress shirts at the office almost every day with necktie. The preferred sensations of the dress shirt fabrics were the soft, wrinkle-free, smooth and dry ones. There were partially significant differences according to gender and age of male office workers in the wearing practices and subjective fabrics preferences of dress shirts.

In developing and testing conceptual models which integrate the relationship among behavioral belief, attitude variable, behavioral intention and meat consumption, this study may approach a deeper understanding of the complex relationship among meat consumption behavior-related variables. Greater understanding of the complex relationship among meat consumption behavior-related variables can improve the practical or managerial diagnosis of the problem and opportunities for different marketing strategies including meat production and meat product development and marketing communication.
This study was conducted to confirm whether organization culture unbalance plays a role as a moderating variable on the mediation process that protean career orientation influences subjective career success through continuous learning activity. To this end, a survey was carried out on 276 office workers with more than 5 years of work experience in large companies, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and Process Macro v3.5. The results showed that continuous learning activity mediates the relationship of protean career orientation affecting subjective career success, but moderating effect of organizational culture unbalance and the moderated mediation effect were not statistically significant. However, statistical significance was found on the moderating effect of organizational culture unbalance on the mediation process, that 'self-direction', protean career orientation's sub-factor, affects subjective career success and its' sub-factor 'employability', and 'career satisfaction' through continuous learning activity. The significance and limitations of our findings are also discussed.
The present study investigated the relationship between the perceptions of social change and subjective well-being, and the effectiveness of coping resources in such a relationship by comparing the structural equation models of the samples obtained in two countries (Korea and the United States). Participants in two countries reported their perceived pace of social change, evaluation of social change, subjective well-being, personal resources(self-esteem and self-efficacy), and social resources. Based on the survey data, a structural equation models was developed and compared across two samples to examine the moderation effects of coping resources by culture and nations. As a result, it was revealed that the perceived pace of social change affected subjective well-being through the mediation of the evaluations of social change and that there were differences in the effectiveness of coping resources: social resources had stronger effects for the Korean sample whereas personal resources had stronger effects for the U.S. sample. Discussions on the psychological impact of a new type of social stress, social change, is included.
