We live in an age which is exponentially growing as the knowledge paradigm is changing. New sites are subject to contemporary landscape architecture function as "fields" in which this hybrid aspect is both actively practiced and becoming a catalyst for change in the area of landscape architecture. With this as its background, this study attempts to deal with how the aspect of integration in environmental design is manifested. For this purpose, the tendencies for the discussion of integration in various fields of practice were examined: planning theories, urban theories, architecture, public environment, engineering, and landscape architecture. As yet, the discussions of interdisciplinary integration, which occur in practice in these respective fields, mainly tend to be oriented toward the effective implementation of the merits of other related fields. Seen from these examples of practice, integrated design approaches can be found in the following three aspects: design objects, respective professional areas, and methodologies of approaches and design. In terms of design objects, the positions of individual design subjects present themselves as most obvious, and integration or combination of the physical targets that come to exist through design can be easily seen. Most examples of integration turn out to be this, in almost every case of which the theme and the target of expression are integrated via a small number of certain methods. In terms of professional areas, what can be mainly evidenced is how the individual subject acts when the subject designs. The strong points of professionals from each field seem to create synergy, achieving through integration optimum results. In terms of methodologies of approaches and design, there are attempts to create integrated approaches as ways of effective decision-making, in which case the integration of all of the interest parties is of primary concern. As yet, few instances have been found in which integrated design has had enough strength to be seen as a concrete design methodology based on practical examples. However, it is encouraging that theoretical approaches and the necessity for integrated design have been identified from multiple perspectives, and that a practical movement such as landscape urbanism has come into active being. The authors of this study find this point in time to be ripe for discussions on integrated practices in terms of environmental design, on the basis of the synthetic approaches mentioned above.

Objective : The purpose of this study is investigate the effects of sensory integration combined with auditory treatment on the sensory processing, visual perception and attention ability of children with developmental delay. Methods : A combined treatment of auditory training and sensory integration therapy was implemented to 3 children aged 4 to 7 and diagnosed with developmental delay during 9 weeks period from December 2016 to January 2017. ABA' design which is one of single subject research designs was used in this study. Baseline A had 4 sessions, intervention B had 15 sessions, and baseline A' had 4 sessions, so 23 sessions were applied in total. During the baseline A and A 'periods, visual perception ability was measured by K-DTVP-2 (Korea Developmental Test Visual Perception-2) and sensory processing ability was evaluated by sensory profile. The maintenance time of attention was measured with the absence of intervention for the baseline period, and for the intervention period, it was measured at 10 minutes break time which was provided after the intervention. The children's attention time during a fine motor task provided were measured using video recorder with the interval recording method, and the interval for the evaluation was 30 seconds. Results : No statistically significant difference were found in the visual perception function and sensory processing scores before and after treatment. Attention of participant A enhanced significantly while that of participant B and C did not improve significantly. Conclusion : It is hard to conclude that sensory integration therapy combined with auditory perception training has positive effects on visual perception function and attention of children with developmental delays. However, there were significant increase in attention and improvements in behavior related to sensory processing for some cases in this study. In further study, longer intervention periods and valid measurement need to be applied in order to get better results. And it is proposed that more studies need to be done to enhance evidence of auditory perception training as a mean to facilitate attention and to prepare learning.

This study examined the recent study trends through a systematic review of the effect of sensory integration intervention and the objective reason to show the areas where sensory integration intervention is effective. The databases, Medline and EMBASE, were searched for "Occupational therapy", "Sensory integration therapy", "Sensory processing", "Weighted vest", and "Wilbarger protocol". For the analysis studies, 14 studies on the effects of sensory integration intervention from 2010 to 2015 were analyzed and organized according to the principle of PICO. According to the result, there were 4 studies each of evidence levels I and e V, which was the largest number of studies (28.6%). The result from frequency analysis of the measurement used for measuring the effects of intervention showed that GAS and VABS-II were used in the 4 studies (11.8%). 71.4% of children with autism spectrum were the major subject group in the analysis studies and sensory integration intervention had an effect on the motor performance, sensory processing, behavior, learning-related education, and occupation performance area. This study result will be useful for establishing sensory integration as an interventional program in occupational therapy practice. In further studies, it will be important to verify the intervention effect of sensory integration in another rehabilitation area.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to provide evidence for the effectiveness of Sensory Integrative Intervention (SII) through a systematic review. Method : The systematic review was executed using MEDLINE/PubMed, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, OTSeeker. The key words for search was "effects of sensory integration", "sensory integration therapy", and "sensory integration intervention". 11 studies were used for data analysis, and the level of evidence were level I, leve lII and level IV. The substances of review were subject (population), method (intervention type), effect of the intervention, outcome parameter, and outcome measurement. Results : 1. The subjects of SII were autism spectrum disorders (30.7%), pervasive developmental disorder (15.4%) and preterm infants (15.4%). 2. Most frequently used method was the traditional intervention of J. Ayres (36.5%). The outcome parameters of SII were behavioral outcome (40.63%), motor performance outcome (28.13%), sensory-based outcome (25.0%), and academic outcome (6.35%). 3. The effects of SII were improvement of motor performance (66.7%), sensory-based (62.5%), and behavior problems (61.5%). In most studies, however, academic skill such as writing skill was not a positive outcome parameter in terms of effectiveness of SII. Conclusions : The results implied that the sensory integrative intervention is effective on motor performance, sensory-based and behavioral change, but not on the academic skill. It is suggested that the future research need to be done to examine whether and how the effect of sensory integration intervention can be long-lasting and contribute any academic skill and activities of daily living performance.

Mathematical creativity, an important goal in mathematics education, can be promoted through an integrated learning environment where students explore mathematics with other subject areas such as science, technology, engineering and art. Establishing such learning environments is not a trivial task. Therefore, this creates a need for the development of instructional resources promoting meaningful integration. This paper focuses on integration of the fields of mathematics and music. Beginning with some of the historical discoveries and views of the connections between mathematics and music, this paper attends to several musical concepts correlating to middle school mathematical content and then provides ideas for teaching.

This paper deals with the linear dynamic response of an elastically restrained beam under a moving mass, where the elastic support was modelled by translational springs of variable stiffness. Governing equations of motion taking into account of all inertia effects of the moving mass were derived by Galerkin's mode summation method, and Runge-Kutta integration method was applied to solve the differential equations. The effects of the speed, the magnitude of the moving mass, stiffness and the position of the support springs on the response of the beam have been studied. A variety of numerical results allows us to draw important conclusions for structural design purposes.

Railway safety management information systems are now being developed by various railway related organizations. A large number of railway safety related data were gathered from railway operators, railway infrastructure manager and railway intendance, etc. The meaning of these data can easily be defined by each organization or developer with little regard for reusing of data by others. Until the present, the main efforts for data management focused on classifying the railway safety data by subject for the developer's convenience and how to combine these data each other is not interested in. In this study, data integration is considered from the viewpoint of combining them semantically in order to get more useful information from partially informed data of multi agencies.

This study contains three themes as follows concerning the state of mathematics education and the textbooks in east and west germany before unification and in unified germany. The first subject is the investigations of the organization of the school systems and of the syllabus of mathematics in east germany in those days. Second, we analyzed the process of preparation for integration before unification, the nature of integration policies and the convention for the unification. Finally, we compare and analyze the similarities and differences in east and west german mathematics textbooks for middle school students combining those in south and north Korea, and further we suggest tasks to be studied in future research.

Since 1990's, many enterprises have constructed Integration Information System. Especially, they want to become an advanced company use ERP package. Already, ERP system come to high level which is stabilized and support independent business process of many industry sectors. Therefore, important success factors for ERP project are change management and organization activation. Although most companies had previous good plans, but those are not satisfied. Because of failed to change management and discontinued next activity for promotion. This paper studied success factors of project team and plan for organization activation. Also, it proposed next study subject about investigate the role of the member of task force team as a factor that makes the ERP system a success. The results of this study can be used for a successful construction of the ERP system as a solution about internal problems of Project team.

This study examines the importance of learning language and cultural integration in general English class focused on TOEIC reading comprehension. The understanding of cultural learning and learners' cultural awareness has long been a subject of debate. This study was not only to analyze the improvement of students' interest and reading comprehension ability of TOEIC through cultural learning, but also to ensure students who learn American culture overcome cross-cultural miscommunication and improve their English reading comprehension skills. Pre-post surveys and the pre-post TOEIC tests were used to measure language proficiency and American cultural knowledge to two groups: the experimental and control group. The results from the study were as follows: First, students had better TOEIC scores with improved motivation after understanding American culture relevant to the lessons. Second, reading comprehension skills with regards to TOEIC also improved, compared with the students who were not exposed to American culture due to lack of opportunity.
