산소 분리를 위한 La0.6Sr0.4Ti0.3Fe0.7O3-δ가 코팅된 Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ 이온전도성 분리막에서 Cr 불순물의 온도 의존성 (Temperature Dependence of Cr Impurity in La0.6Sr0.4Ti0.3Fe0.7O3-δ Coated Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ Ion Conducting Membrane for oxygen Separation)

  • 높은 산소 분리 특성과 $CO_2$에 대한 안정성을 보인 $La_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Ti_{0.3}Fe_{0.7}O_{3-{\delta}}$(LSTF)가 코팅된 $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}Co_{0.8}Fe_{0.2}O_{3-{\delta}}$(BSCF) 분리막을 bench 규모의 장치에 적용하여 산소 투과 실험을 수행 하였다. 또한 실험실 규모 장치와 bench 규모장치의 분리막 반응기 내 온도 구배에 따라서 분리막을 3영역으로 나누어 각각 비교 분석하였다. $900^{\circ}C$까지 온도 범위에서 산소 투과 실험을 진행하면서 Cr 침적의 온도 의존성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 실험실 장치에서 측정한 산소 투과율인 $3.79ml/min{\cdot}cm^2$에 비해 현저히 낮은 $2.37ml/min{\cdot}cm^2$를 확인했다. 이와 같은 산소 투과율의 감소는 XRD와 SEM/EDS 분석을 통하여 분리막 반응기의 합금 재질에서 방출되어 나온 기상 Cr의 분리막 표면 침적에 의한 것임을 밝혀냈다. 특히 중온 영역에서 많은 양의 Cr이 발견되었다.

FEM해석에 의한 막장볼트 및 보조벤치의 막장안정성 효과에 관한 연구 (Study on the Effect of Bolt and Sub-bench on the Stabilization of Tunnel Face through FEM Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 지반등급 V중에서 막장자립이 곤란한 지반에 대해 지반고유의 지지력을 최대한 이용하기 위한 굴착공법 및 적정벤치길이에 대해 검토하고, 보조공법으로 막장볼트를 적용할 경우 타설 패턴, 타설 개수에 따라 막장 및 막장주변지반에 어떠한 영향이 발생되는지에 대해 3차원 FEM해석을 수행하였다. 보조벤치 병용전단면공법이 조기 단면폐합으로 변위를 크게 줄일 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 타설 패턴으로는 격자상, 교호배치형(지그재그형), 원주상순으로 변위억제효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 타설 개수 증가에 따라 막장축방향 수평변위에 대해 억제효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었으며 보조벤치 병용 전단면공법굴착시공의 경우 막장부 $1.5m^2$에 1개의 막장볼트(격자상) 타설로 막장면 안정성을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

백금산화촉매를 통한 이산화질소(NO2)의 저감 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation on the Reduction Characteristics of Nitric Dioxide(NO2) over Platinum-based Oxidation Catalyst)

  • The reduction characteristics of $NO_2$ to NO are experimentally studied over a platinum-based catalyst, especially at lower temperatures below about $200^{\circ}C$. In the present work, two types of steady-state experiments, engine bench and synthetic gas bench tests, are carried out in sequence. Steady-state engine bench tests with the DOC mounted on a light duty 4-cylinder 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel engine are performed and prove that CO plays a major role in $NO_2$ abatement at temperatures below the light-off temperature of CO oxidation, about $200^{\circ}C$. Synthetic gas bench tests are then performed using synthetic gas mixtures with CO, $C_3H_6$, NO, $NO_2$, $O_2$, $H_2O$ and $N_2$ in the $140{\sim}450^{\circ}C$ T-range and show that both CO and $C_3H_6$ are capable of reducing $NO_2$. It is noted that the reaction rate of $NO_2$ with $C_3H_6$ is much higher than that with CO. At temperatures below about $200^{\circ}C$, the reduction of $NO_2$ to NO is promoted with increasing CO concentration and $NO_2$/$NO_X$ ratio and with decreasing $O_2$ concentration, as well as with the presence of $H_2O$.

차량 NVH개선 설계를 위한 샤시 구동계의 Driveline Test Bench 구성 및 CAE 해석 (Modeling and CAE Simulation of Chassis Driveline Test Bench for Vehicle NVH Improvement)

  • The authors have investigated the NVH problems of drive system in full vehicle test. However it is difficult to define the NVH problems of driveline system. Since it is hard to measure the rotating part and it is vague that only the drive system induces the NVH problem. Vibration in a driveline is presented in this paper. In the experiment, the rear sub-frame and propeller shafts and axle were composed and mounted with rubber each other. For applying the vibration input instead of the torsional vibration effect of an engine, the shaker was taken. In particular, torsional vibration due to fluctuating forced vibration excitation across the joint between driveline and rear sub-frame was carefully examined. Accordingly, the joint response was checked from experiments and the FE-simulation using FRF (frequency response function) analysis was performed. All test results were signal processed and validated against numerical simulations. In present study, the new test bench for measuring the vibration signal and simulating the vehicle chassis system was proposed. The modal value and the mode shape of components were analyzed using the CAE model to identify the important components affecting driveline noise and vibration. It could be reached that the simplified test bench could be well established and be used for design guide and development of the vehicle chassis components.

납 오염 논토양의 원위치 세척을 위한 FeCl3의 Bench-scale 적용성 평가: 세척전후 토양 특성변화 (Characteristics of Agricultural Paddy Soil Contaminated by Lead after Bench-scale In-situ Washing with FeCl3)

  • In a previous study, we assessed the feasibility of ferric chloride ($FeCl_3$) as a washing agent in bench-scale in-situ soil washing to remove Pb from agricultural paddy soil. Herein is a subsequent study to evaluate variations in soil properties after $FeCl_3$ soil washing in terms of fractionation and bioavailability of Pb and chemical properties of the soil. After soil washing, the soil pH decreased from 4.8 to 2.6 and the exchangeable fractions of Pb in the soil increased from 12 mg/kg to 15 mg/kg. Variations in the Pb fractionation of the soil increased Pb bioavailability by almost three-fold; however,the base saturation decreased by 75%. The concentrations of total nitrogen and available phosphate were similar before and after soil washing. The available silicate concentration significantly increased after soil washing but was two times lower than that of soil washed with HCl, which is widely used as a washing agent. This indicates that $FeCl_3$ can be an acceptable washing agent that protects the soil clay structure. The results suggest that soil amendment, such as liming, is needed to recover soil pH, reduce mobility of Pb, and provide exchangeable bases of Ca, Mg, and K as essential elements for the healthy growth of rice plants in reused soil that has been washed.

두 종류의 다른 작동유체가 ORC 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향 (Performance Analysis of an ORC System for Two Different Working Fluids)

  • The organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) uses a kind of refrigerant as a working fluid that evaporates at relatively low temperature, as the Rankine Cycle uses superheated steam as the working fluid. A small scale ORC test bench was installed, and two different working fluids (R245fa and R134a) were injected into the test bench. The test bench was in operation with the two different working fluids under the same conditions. The effects against the system performance from the different working fluids were analysed, and root causes were identified. Other factors reflecting the power generation efficiency were also found. A conclusion was drawn, that R245fa makes the system perform better, than R134a.

Bench-scale 연소로에서 가스 혼소를 통한 초 저 NOx 석탄 버너 개발 연구 (Experimental Evaluation of Developed Ultra-low NOx Coal Burner Using Gas in a Bench-scale Single Burner Furnace)

  • 본 연구는 80 kW 연소로에서 초 저 NOx 버너를 개발하고 실험한 결과를 나타낸 것이다. 실험은 80 kW 단일 버너 연소로에서 진행되었으며, swirl number 변화, 총 당량비, 1차 / 2차 산화제 비율을 변경하여 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 가스(LNG)를 보조연료로 사용하여 NOx 생성량을 크게 감소 시킬 수 있었다. 화력발전소에서 석탄 연소 시 발생하는 NOx의 양은 약 300 ppm이다. 그러나 본 연구에서 사용된 버너는 LNG를 혼소하여 NOx의 양을 40 ppm까지 감소 시킬 수 있었다. 1차 산화제의 투입량이 보조 연료인 가스가 연소될 만큼만 사용하여 가스와 석탄을 동시에 투입하면 연소가스가 버너 출구에서 고온영역을 형성하여 석탄을 휘발시키므로 N 탈휘발에 포함되어 배출된다. 그러므로 이 후 석탄이 연소 되면 석탄내 포함된 N이 거의 없기 때문에 NOx 생성량이 감소하는 것이다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 실제 화력발전소 버너를 개발한다면 NOx 생성을 연소 초기에 대량 감소시킬 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • Catalytic steam reforming of tar produced from biomass gasification was conducted using several Ni-based catalysts. K and Mn were used as a promoter over $Ni/Ru/Al_2O_3$ catalyst. The pellet and monolith type catalysts were prepared and applied to lab and bench-scale biomass gasification system. The $Ni/Ru-K/Al_2O_3$ catalyst shown higher performance than $Ni/Ru-Mn/Al_2O_3$ catalyst at low temperature range.

  • Cross-linked polystyrene supported aluminium triflate (Ps-Al(OTf)$_3$) was found to be an efficient and chemoselective heterogeneous Lewis acid catalyst for the direct conversion of arenes to sulfones using sulfonic acids as sulfonylating agents. The solid acid catalyst is stable (as a bench top catalyst) and can be easily recovered and reused without appreciable change in its efficiency.

PVDF 중공사막 제조 및 벤치규모 기-액 접촉기를 이용한 SO2 흡수특성 (Preparation of PVDF Hollow Fiber Membrane and Absorption of SO2 from Flue Gas Using Bench Scale Gas-Liquid Contactor)

  • 중공사막 접촉기에 적절한 PVDF 중공사막을 상전이 공정에 의하여 제조하였으며, SEM 과 기체투과도에 의하여 그 특성을 분석하였다. 벤치규모 중공사막 접촉기에서 $SO_2$ 제거를 위한 흡수제는 수산화나트륨 수용액을 사용하였다. 기체는 shell side, 액체는 lumen side로 흐르는 counter-current로 실험하였으며, 흡수제의 농도, 기체의 유속, 액가스비, 유입 $SO_2$ 농도에 따른 영향을 알아보았으며, 수학적 모델링에 의해 막 물질전달계수($k_m$)를 측정하였다. 흡수제의 농도와 액기비가 증가함에 따라 기-액 계면에서 충분한 알칼리도가 제공되므로, 액체막 저항이 감소하며, 총괄물질전달 용량계수는 증가하였다. 기체유속이 증가함에 따라 기체막저항은 감소하게 되므로 총괄물질전달 용량계수는 증가하였다.
