자기주도적 학습능력이 간호학생의 임상실습만족도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on The Influence between Self-directed Learning and Nursing Student's Satisfaction of Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose. This study was to identify the relationship between self-directed learning and nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice. Methods. This study was designed to measure the level of satisfaction according to the contents, guidance, environment, time, and the evaluation of clinical practice. Two hundred thirty-one nursing student from baccalaureate program in H-gun was sampled. A scale consisting of 75 questions, developed by the researcher, was used to gather data from September 14 through 27, 2012. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test, pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results. The results were summarized : Self-directed learning didn't show a significant different by grade(t=0.83, p=.934). Nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice didn't show a significant different by grade(t=0.26, p=.798). The relationship between self-directed learning correlated with the degree of nursing student's satisfaction in clinical practice(r=.44, p<.001). The factors of self-directed learning described nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice as $R^2$=.215(F=9.858, p<.001). Conclusions. It was found that a higher degree of satisfaction in clinical practice depends on a higher degree of self-directed learning. Therefore, nursing faculty should plan intervention to improve satisfaction level of clinical practice by fostering self-directed learning.

대학생의 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 교수-학생 상호작용, 자기주도학습, 대학 몰입의 경로분석 (Path Analysis of Faculty-student Interaction, Self-directed Learning, and Institutional Commitment to Impact on the Academic Achievement of the University Students)

  • This study aimed to establish and validate the path models among faculty-student interaction, self-directed learning, and institutional commitment which impacted on the academic achievement of the university students. To achieve these goals, the survey results from 488 university students in North Gyungsang Province were analyzed. Descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, and path model analysis were performed to understand the relationship among variables. First, all the variables showed positive correlations except academic achievement and institutional commitment upon the study results. Second with respect to the differences by groups, faculty-student interaction and institutional commitment demonstrated the significant differences by sex while self-directed learning and academic achievement did not. Third on the path analyses, self-directed learning influenced to academic achievement directly, while faculty-student interaction did to it by mediating with self-directed learning and institutional commitment. The results of this study suggest that faculty-student interaction, self-directed learning, and institutional commitment perceived by the university students were significant elements on their academic achievements.

플립러닝 학습법이 대학생의 자기 주도적 학습능력, 비판적 사고성향, 학습 동기, 학습 만족도에 미치는 효과 (The effects of Flipped Learning Method on a college student's self directed learning ability, critical thinking disposition, learning motivation, and learning satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to analyze the effects that Flipped Learning Method has on a college student's self directed learning ability, critical thinking disposition, learning motivation, and learning satisfaction, and determine its effectiveness as a new pedagogical approach. Methods: The survey was conducted on dental technology students. The collected data was analyzed by the statistical program SPSS 21.0. The results were analyzed by reliability, frequency, t-test. To test for significance on each item, p<0.05 has been decided as a standard. Results: According to the analysis, the student who attended a class that utilized Flipped Learning Method was found to have higher levels of self directed learning ability, critical thinking disposition, learning motivation, and learning satisfaction than a student who attended a class that did not utilize such a method. Conclusion: The study results show that, in order to enhance students' self directed learning ability, critical thinking disposition, learning motivation, and learning satisfaction and to improve the quality of class instruction, it may be necessary that Flipped Learning Method be adopted more widely and recommended more strongly. Such changes will promote a long term improvement in educational environments and play a major role in strengthening students' abilities.

자기주도적 학습능력의 향상을 위한 앱인벤터 활용 수학영재프로그램의 개발과 적용 (Development and Application of the Mathematically Gifted Student Learning Program Utilizing App Inventor for Self-directed Learning Ability)

  • 우리나라는 영재교육에서의 자기주도적 학습 능력의 신장을 매우 중요한 목표로 내세운다. 최근에는 다양한 프로그래밍을 활용한 영재 학습 프로그램이 개발되었고 이를 통해 학습자들의 자기주도적 학습 능력이 향상되기도 한다. 하지만 프로그래밍 활용 영재 학습 프로그램은 정보 영재를 대상으로 개발된 것이 대부분이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자기주도적 학습능력의 향상을 위한 앱인벤터를 활용한 수학영재프로그램의 개발과 적용에 관해 탐구하였다. 4, 5학년으로 이루어진 초등 수학 영재 1개 학급을 대상으로 모둠별로 앱인벤터를 활용해 수학 퀴즈를 만드는 활동을 하였다. 실험 적용 후 실험집단의 내재적 동기, 자율성, 개방성 등 자기 주도적 학습 능력의 하위 요소의 사후 검사 값이 유의도 .002이하로 매우 유의하였다. 따라서 앱인벤터의 활용을 통한 수학영재프로그램의 개발과 적용은 수학 영재 학습자의 자기주도적 학습 능력의 전 영역에서 효과적이었음을 확인할 수 있었다.

학습 플랫폼을 활용한 고등학생의 수학 교수·학습 사례 연구 (A Case Study of High School Student's Mathematics Teaching and Learning using a Learning Platform)

  • Recently, various platforms of education technology (Edu-Tech) that use artificial intelligence have been developed in the field of mathematics education. The case study in this paper reports the learning experience of a high school student who was directed to learn mathematics through the self-directed learning process provided by a mathematics learning platform using Edu-Tech with the intervention of mentoring provided by his teacher. The study found that the mentoring intervention could make an effective contribution to student's mathematics learning by playing the role of an auxiliary tool for the self-directed learning over time. In this paper, we explain the nature of the challenges that the student encountered in the process of self-directed learning and the roles that the teacher mentoring has played in this process.

간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 학업적 자기효능감 및 교수-학생 상호작용이 자기주도학습에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Self-leadership, Academic Self-Efficacy and Instructor-Student Interaction on Self-directed Learning in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the influencing factors of self-leadership, academic self-efficacy and instructor-student interaction on self-directed learning in nursing college students. Methods: This study used a descriptive survey design. Participants were 190 nursing college students at three universities in Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do. Data were collected from May 10 to June 12, 2016 using self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS 19.0. Results: The results showed that the self-leadership of the nursing students was 3.49, academic self-efficacy, 3.17, instructor-student interaction, 3.71, and self-directed learning, 3.43, respectively. Self-directed learning of nursing college students was positively associated with self-leadership(r=.65, p<.001), academic self-efficacy(r=.61, p<.001) and instructor-student interaction (r=.36, p<.001). 001). Self-leadership, academic self - efficacy, major satisfaction, GPA 4.0 or above explained 65% of the total variance in self-directed learning among nursing college students. Conclusions: The findings of this study indicated that nursing interventions for increasing self-leadership, academic self-efficacy and major satisfaction should be developed to improve self-directed learning of nursing students. Additional studies for changes in the overall teaching and learning environment to promote the self-directed learning environment in nursing education should be conducted.

간호학생의 비판적 사고성향과 핵심능력 (The Relationship of Core Competencies(Problem Solving Ability, Communication Ability, Self-directed Learning Ability) to Critical Thinking)

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze core competencies affecting critical thinking ability of student nurses. Core competencies investigated in this study were problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability. Method: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 322 student nurses in 2 provinces during the period from May 21 to June 8, 2007. Critical thinking, problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability were measured using the Disposition towards Critical Thinking Scale by Park(1999-a) and the Core Competencies Scale by Lee(2003). Descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant differences in the critical thinking according to grade, type of high school, experience with PBL, preference for lecture-based learning, preference for discussion and perceived logicality. The score for critical thinking showed significantly positive correlations with scores for problem solving ability(r=0.54, p=0.00), communication ability(r=0.56, p=0.00) and self-directed learning ability(r=0.54, p=0.00). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that problem solving ability, communication ability and self-directed learning ability are significant factors affecting critical thinking in student nurses.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 창의성이 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 그 과정에서 교수의 자율성 지지와 교수-학생 상호작용의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 시행되었다. 광주광역시의 S 대학교에 재학 중인 간호대학생 304명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 매개효과는 SPSS Process Macro 4와 bootstrapping을 활용하였다. 연구결과 창의성, 교수의 자율성지지 및 교수-학생 상호작용은 간호대학생의 자기주도학습능력에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 교수의 자율성지지와 교수-학생 상호작용은 창의성이 자기주도학습능력에 영향 하는 과정에서 유의미한 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 한계점을 제시하고, 간호대학생의 자기주도학습능력향상을 위한 교육방향에 대해 논의하였다.

만학도 간호대학생의 교수-학생 상호작용, 진로몰입이 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 영향요인 (Effect of Faculty-Student Interaction, Career commitment on Self-Directed Learning Ability in Later Learner's Students)

  • 본 연구는 만학도 간호대학생의 교수-학생 상호작용, 진로몰입이 자기주도학습능력에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구대상자는 G광역시, J도에 소재한 4개 대학교의 25세 이상 64세 이하에 입학한 간호학과 재학생 162명이며, 자가설문방법으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation 및 multiple regression으로 시행되었다. 연구결과, 자기주도학습능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 진로몰입, 교수-학생 상호작용, 대학진학의 동기 순이며, 변인들은 만학도 간호대학생의 자기주도학습능력을 29.5% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 만학도 간호대학생의 진로몰입과 교수-학생 상호작용의 수준의 향상을 통해 자기주도학습능력을 촉진할 수 있는 프로그램개발이 필요하다.

Educational-Resources Recommending System for Web Based Learning

  • We are focusing on an approach which handle a general Web as a resource in order to support self-directed learning for a student. Then, we are developing a Web based learning environment "Web-Retracer"for utilizing Web as teaching materials by a user′s Annotation. Although the learner can share the Web resource that the others utilized in this environment, Web resources unsuitable for a student′s needs becomes hindrance about her/his self-directed learning. In this paper, we propose a recommending method of the resource united with a student′s needs on the basis of a student′s learning and Web browsing history. This method analyzed the feature peculiar to a resource, and extracts the resource with which the needs of the feature and a student agreed.
