The LBSNS(Location-Based Social Networking Service) service has been well-received by researchers and end-users, such as Twitter. Location-Based service of Twitter is now structured that users could not subscribe the information of their interesting local area. Those who being following from someone tweet message included information of local area to them just for their own interesting. However, follower may receive that kind of tweet. In order to handle the problem, we propose filtering technique using spatial join. The first work for filtering technique is to add a location information to tweets and users. In this paper, location information is represented by MBR(Minimum Bounding Rectangle). Location information is divided into dynamic property and static property. Suppose that users are continuously moving, that means one of the dynamic property's example. At this time, a massive continous query could cause the problem in server. In this paper, we create Virtual Grid on Google Map for reducing frequency of query, and conclude that it is useful for server.
A three dimensional finite element generation code has been developed attaching simple blocks. Block can be either a quadrature or a cube depending on the dimension of a subject considered. Finite element serendipity basis functions are employed to map elements between the computational domain and the physical domain. Elements can be generated with wser defined progressive ratio for each block. For blocks to be connected properly, a block should have a consistent numbering scheme for vertices, side nodes, edges and surfaces. In addition the edge information such as the number of elements and the progressive ratio for each direction should also be checked for interfaces to have unique node numbers. Having done so, user can add blocks with little worry about the orientation of blocks, Since the present the present code has been written by a Visual Basic language, it can be developed easily for a user interactive manner under a Windows environment.
As a part of numerical and experimental research works for the prediction and improvement of ship's maneuvering performance, a study on the performance analysis of two different rudders has been carried out. While the planform shape and the aspect ratio of the rudders have been fixed, section shape has been changed. Conventional type of HMRI NP section and special type of dolphin-tail section have been employed. Performances of the rudders have been investigated by using CFD and compared with experimental data obtained in a wind tunnel. A commercial CFD program has been used to solve the RANS equations. Two-equation k-ro model has been applied to close the governing equations. Block-structured grids are used in the numerical calculation. Based upon the calculation results, the rudder with dolphin-tail section has shown a possibility of significantly improving rudder performance if utilized as the section of ship rudders.

A moving mesh system is one of the critical parts in a computational fluid dynamics analysis. In this study, the RBF(Radial Basis Function) which shows better performance than hybrid meshes was developed to obtain the deformed grid. The RBF method can handle large mesh deformations caused by translations, rotations and deformations, both for 2D and 3D meshes. Another advantage of the method is that it can handle both structured and unstructured grids with ease. The method uses a volume spline technique to compute the deformation of block vertices and block edges, and deformed shape.
A methodology for the simulation of compressible high Reynolds number flow over rigid and moving bodies on a structured Cartesian grid is described in this paper. The approach is based on a modified version of the Brinkman Penalization method. To avoid oscillations in the vicinity of the body and to simulate shcok-containing flows, a Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory scheme is used to discretize the spatial flux derivatives. For high Reynolds number viscous flow, two turbulence models of the two-equation Menter's SST URANS model and a two-equation Detached Eddy Simulation are implemented. Some simple flow examples are given to assess the accuracy of the technique. Finally, a moving grid capability is demonstrated.

A conservative finite-volume numerical method using unstructured meshes, which is developed by the authors, is evaluated for its application to several 2-D benchmark problems using a variety of quadrilateral, triangular and hybrid meshes. The present pressure-based numerical method for unstructured mesh clearly demonstrates the same accuracy and robustness as that fur typical structured mesh.
In this study, the unsteady flow field induced by a high-speed train passing through a tunnel is numerically simulated by using an axi-symmetric Euler Equation. The modified patched grid scheme applied to a structured grid system was used to handle the relative motion of a train. The hybrid-dimensional approach which mixed 1D and axi-symmetric dimension was used to reduce the computation time and memory storage. By employing the hybrid-dimensional approach, a long tunnel as much as 5 km was able to be simulated efficiently. The results show that the maximum pressure rise in the tunnel by the entrance of the train is a function of both train speed and train-tunnel cross-sectional area ratio. The unsteady pressure fluctuation in the tunnel and around the train was also investigated in the real condition; Korean high-speed train on the Seoul-Pusan line.

Numerical analysis were made for the unsteady flow fields of the rotor system of a Tilt-Rotor aircraft in cruise mode. The Reynolds-averaged thin-layer Wavier-Stokes equations were discretized by Roe's upwind differencing scheme and integrated in time by the LU-SGS algorithm. The computational domain of the rotor system was constructed by seven multi-block Chimera grids. Comparison of pressure coefficient on the surface of the main wing and blades were made for 3cases of advance ratio(0.325, 0.350, 0.375) and thrust and power coefficients for the rotor were compared with experimental data.
An efficient correction storage scheme on a structured grid is applied to a sequence of approximate Jacobian systems arising at each time step from a linearization of the discrete nonlenear system of equations, obtained by the implicit time discretization of the conservation laws for unsteady fluid flows. The contribution of freezing the Jacobian matrix to computing costs is investigated within the correction storage scheme. The performance of the procedure is exhibited by measuring CPU time required to obtain a fully developed laminar vortex shedding flow past a circular cylinder, and is compared with that of a collective iterative method on a single grid. In addition, some computed results of the flow are presented in terms of some functionals along with measured data. The computational test shows that the computing costs may be saved in favor of the correction storage scheme with the frozen Jacobian matrix, to a great extent.
