용접변형 고정도 예측을 위한 지배인자의 특정 (Specification of Governing Factors for High Accurate Prediction of Welding Distortion)

  • In carrying out the elastic-plastic analysis, four conditions (equilibrium equation, constitutive equation, condition of compatibility and yield condition) should be satisfied. In welding, the temperature largely changed from a melting temperature to a room temperature. So, yield stress of materials largely changed, too. In particular, yield stress becomes about zero over $700^{\circ}C$. The analysis should be carried out under the condition that equivalent stress generated in temperature increment ${\Delta}T$ did not exceed yield stress of materials at high temperature over $700^{\circ}C$. It should be sufficiently recognized that the obtained results were not reliable if this condition was not satisfied.

  • PMOSFETs were studied on the effect of Hot-Carrier induced drain leakage current (Gate-Induced-Drain-Leakage). The result turned out that change in Vgl(drain voltage where 1pA/$\mu$m of drain leadage current flows) was largest in the Channel-Hot-Hole(CHH) injection condition and next was in dynamic stress and was smallest in electron trapping (Igmax) condition under various stress conditions. It was analyzed that if electron trapping occurrs in the overlap region of gate and drain(G/D), it reduces GIDL current due to increment of flat-band voltage(Vfb) and if CHH is injected, interface states(Nit) were generated and it increases GIDL current due to band-to-defect-tunneling(BTDT). Especially, under dynamic stress it was confirmed that increase in GIDL current will be high when electron injection was small and CHH injection was large. Therefore as applying to real circuit, low drain voltage GIDL(BTDT) was enhaced as large as CHH Region under various operating voltage, and it will affect the reliablity of the circuit.

A return mapping algorithm for plane stress and degenerated shell plasticity

  • A numerical algorithm for plane stress and shell elasto-plasticity is presented in this paper. The proposed strain decomposition (SD) algorithm is an elastic predictor/plastic corrector algorithm, and in the context of operator splitting, is a return mapping algorithm. However, it differs significantly from other return mapping algorithms in that only the necessary response functions are used without invoking their gradients, and the stress increment is updated only at the end of the time step. This makes the proposed SD algorithm more suitable for materials with complex yield surfaces and will guard against error accumulation during the time step. Comparative analyses of structural systems using the proposed strain decomposition (SD) algorithm and the iterative radial return (IRR) algorithm are presented. The results demonstrate the accuracy and usefulness of the proposed algorithm.

  • To measure the mechanical and structural properties of semiconducting materials in power cable, we have investigated the stress-strain and fractural structure of semiconducting materials showed by changing the content of carbon black. Those were made as sheets after pressing for 20 minutes at $180[^{\circ}C]$ with a pressure of $200[kg/cm^2]$. The contents of conductive carbon black were 20, 30 and 40(wt%), respectively. The stress-strain experiment was measured by TENSOMETER 2000. The SEM experiment was measured by JSM-6400. From above experimental result, Strain was decreased, while stress was increased according to increment of carbon black content. EEA among resins was best the dispersion of carbon back in base resin from SEM measurement.

  • Generally, it is used the compensation spring to compensate the inaccuracy of screen image induced by thermal deformation in CRT monitor. Its mechanism is hi-metallic system made of heterogeneous metals and these springs are bonded by laser welding. But laser welding induces a non-uniform temperature distribution, and residual stress is yielded locally by these temperature deviation. Therefore, this study measures the curvature constant to assess functions of the compensation spring of shadow mask with respect to increment temperature and estimates the effect of residual stress on the performance of tri-metal used to compensation spring.

노인의 스트레스와 우울 간의 관계에서 식습관의 매개 효과 분석 (Analysis of Mediating Effects of Eating Habits on the Relationship between Stress and Depression in the Elderly)

  • 배경: 노인의 식습관에 따른 스트레스와 우울 간의 상호관계를 이해하는 것은 필요하다. 목적: 노인을 대상으로 스트레스와 우울과의 관계에서 식습관의 매개 효과를 실증적으로 검증하는 것이다. 방법: 국내의 대도시 및 중소도시에 거주하는 만 60세 이상 남녀를 대상으로 Google On-line 설문지를 배포하였으며, 총 365명의 설문지를 회수하여 분석에 활용하였다. 결과: 첫째, 노인의 스트레스는 우울에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 노인의 스트레스가 상승하면 우울감 또한 상승하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 식습관은 스트레스와 우울 간의 관계를 부분 매개하였다. 결론: 본 연구는 노인의 스트레스와 우울 간의 관계에서 식습관의 매개 효과를 실증적으로 검증하였으며, 우울을 감소시키는 방안으로 건강한 식습관의 필요성을 확인했다는 점에 의의가 있다. 따라서 상담 기관에서는 노인의 우울 정도를 상담할 때 매일 섭취하는 식습관을 점검할 필요가 있다. 또한, 식습관은 스트레스에 의해 영향을 받기 때문에 잘못된 식습관을 지닌 노인의 경우 개인의 스트레스 지수를 파악할 필요가 있다. 더 나아가 평소 올바른 식습관을 가질 수 있도록 기관과 지역사회에서 지속적인 영양교육을 할 필요가 있다.

실트질 모래지반의 응력경로를 이용한 액상화 분석 (Analysis of Liquefaction using Stress Path in Silty Sand Grounds)

  • It has been generally much fine contents in West Coast of Korea. When cyclic shear stress causing liquefaction was estimated as using cyclic triaxial tests in these grounds, it didn't appear linear relations between deviator stress and confining stress where σ'₃ was more than 150 kpa. Namely, due to no normalization of cyclic shear stress ratio, the errors of this is increased. Therefore, more confining stress is increased, more increment of deviator stress is decreased. So, using linear relations between tanø'/sub d/ of dynamic internal friction angle and CSR where σ'₃ was less than 150 kpa, liquefaction of these grounds was evaluated. Also, as doing detail evaluation which had carried response analysis of earthquake, this appeared good results which was well compatible with empirical methods using N-value of SPT. It was thought that these result evaluated vulnerable liquefaction area more correct than existing methods. Also, characteristics of liquefaction in West Coast grounds was compared with clean sands, with analysis of behavior of pore pressure ratio and axial strain affected by fine contents, as cyclic loading was applied.

Shear stresses below the rectangular foundations subjected to biaxial bending

  • Soils are subjected to additional stresses due to the loads transferred by the foundations of the buildings. The distribution of stress in soil has great importance in geotechnical engineering projects such as stress, settlement and liquefaction analyses. The purpose of this study is to examine the shear stresses on horizontal plane below the rectangular foundations subjected to biaxial bending on an elastic soil. In this study, closed-form analytical solutions for shear stresses in x and y directions were obtained from Boussinesq's stress equations. The expressions of analytical solutions were simplified by defining the shear stress influence values ($I_1$, $I_2$, $I_3$), and solution charts were presented for obtaining these values. For some special loading conditions, the expressions for shear stresses in the soil below the corners of a rectangular foundation were also given. In addition, a computer program was developed to calculate the shear stress increment at any point below the rectangular foundations. A numerical example for illustrating the use of the presented solution charts was given and, finally, shear stress isobars were obtained for the same example by a developed computer program. The shear stress expressions obtained in this work can be used to determine monotonic and cyclic behavior of soils below rectangular foundations subjected to biaxial bending.

Ant lion optimizer for optimization of finite perforated metallic plate

  • Minimizing the stress concentration around hypotrochoid hole in finite metallic plates under in-plane loading is an important consideration in engineering design. In the analysis of finite metallic plate, the effective factors on stress distribution around holes include curvature radius of the corner of the hole, hole orientation, plate's aspect ratio, and hole size. This paper aims to investigate the impact of these factors on stress analysis of finite metallic plate with central hypotrochoid hole. To obtain the lowest value of stress around a hypotrochoid hole, a swarm intelligence optimization method named ant lion optimizer is used. In this study, with the hypothesis of plane stress circumstances, analytical solution of Muskhelishvili's complex variable method and conformal mapping is employed. The plate is taken into account to be finite, isotropic and linearly elastic. By applying suitable boundary conditions and least square boundary collocation technique, undefined coefficients of stress function are found. The results revealed that by choosing the above-mentioned factor correctly, the lowest value of stress would be obtained around the hole allowing to an increment in load-bearing capacity of the structure.

Tl-201 게이트 심근 SPECT에서 디피리다몰 부하로 유도된 일시적 좌심실 기능이상 (Dipyridamole Induced Transient Left Ventricular Dysfunction in the Tl-201 Gated Myocardial SPECT)

  • 목적: 이 연구의 목적은 Tl-201 게이트 심근 SPECT시 나타나는 부하 후 일시적 좌심실 기능이상의 임상적 의미를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 대상 및 방법: 연구대상은 디피리다몰 부하 게이트 심근 SPECT를 시행한 환자 중 관상동맥조영술을 두 달 이내에 시행한 환자로 이 중 심근경색이 있는 경우는 제외하였다. 게이트 SPECT는 부하기와 재분포기 모두 실시하였으며 부하시 좌심실 구혈률이 재 분포기에 비하여 11%이상 감소한 경우에 부하 후 심근 기절이 있다고 정의하였다. 총 93명의 대상환자를 관상동맥조영술 결과에 따라 정상(1군)과 관상동맥 질환(2군)의 두 군으로 나누어 부하 후 좌심실 기능이상의 빈도에 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 결과: 정상 대조군에서 좌심실 구혈률은 4시간 재분포기에 비하여 부하기에 평균 3.1% 증가하였으나, 관상동맥질환군에서는 평균 4.1% 감소하였다(p<0.01). 이완기말 좌심실 용적은 두 군 모두 부하기에 증가를 보였으며, 두 군 간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 수축기말 좌심실 용적은 정상 대조군에서는 부하기에 0.7% 감소하였으나, 관상동맥질환군에서는 7.2% 증가하였다(p<0.01). 부하 후 좌심실 기능 이상은 1군 62명 중 0명, 2군 44명 중 8명(18.2%)으로 2군에서 유의하게 많았다(p<0.01). 정상 대조군에서 부하 후 일시적 좌심실 기능이상은 한 예도 관찰되지 않았다. 44명의 관상동맥질환 환자 중 8명에서 일시적 좌심실 기능이상이 관찰되었는데 단일혈관 협착에서 1 예(9.1%), 2 혈관 협착에서 0(0%), 3혈관 협착에서 2 예(14.3%), 좌주간동맥협착에서 5 예(62.5%)였다. 관상동맥질환 환자군을 다시 단일과 두 혈관 협착군과 세 혈관협착과 좌주간동맥 협착군의 두 군으로 나누어 일시적 좌심실기능이상의 빈도를 비교하였을 때 4.5%와 31.8%로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 결론: 디피리다몰과 Tl-201을 이용한 게이트 심근 SPECT에서 심근경색을 제외한 관상동맥질환이 있는 경우 약 20%에서 부하 후 심근기절이 나타남을 알 수 있었으며, 하나 또는 두 혈관질환보다는 세 혈관 질환 또는 좌주간지 협착에서 더 많이 발생하는 경향이 있어 관상동맥질환의 중증도 계층화와 예후추정에 대한 부가적인 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
