Most cracks in the structure occur under mixed mode loading and those fatigue crack propagation behavior heavily depends on the stress ratio. So, it is necessary to study the fatigue behavior under mixed mode loading as the stress ratio changes. In this paper, the fatigue crack propagation behavior was respectively investigated at stress ratio 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and we changed the loading application angle into 0$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$, 60$^{\circ}$ to apply various loading mode. The mode I and II stress intensity factor of CTS specimen used in this study was calculated by the displacement extrapolation method using FEM (ABAQUS). Using both the experiment and FEM analysis, we have concluded the relationship between crack propagation rate and stress intensity factor range at each loading mode due to the variation of stress ratio. Also, when the crack propagated under given stress ratio and loading mode condition, we have concluded the dominant factors of the crack propagation rate at each case.
Stress relaxation behaviors of the cucumber under bending moment were tested with UTM at three levels of loading rate and initial deflection ratio. Sample cucumber was selected from three cultivars of cucumber, Cheongjangmadi, Baekdadagi, and Gyeousalicheongjang, because these cultivars are the most popular grown cultivars in Korea. When the bending moment was applied to the cucumber sample, the effective span between simple supports was held a constant value of 116mm with consideration of the selected sample length. The objectives of this study were to develop the rheological models such as linear and nonlinear models of the stress relaxation for the cucumber samples, and to investigate the effects of loading rate and initial deflection ratio on the stress relaxation behavior of the cucumber. The results of this study may be summarized as follows : 1. Stress relaxation behavior of the cucumber could be well described by the generalized Maxwell model for each level of deflection ratio. But the stress relaxation behavior of the sample was found to be initial deflection ratio and time dependent, and it was represented the nonlinear viscoelastic model as a function of initial deflection ratio and time. 2. Stress relaxation behavior of the cucumber samples was very highly affected by the loading rate and the initial deflection ratio. The more loading rate and initial deflection ratio resulted in the more initial bending stress and after stress relaxation progressed more rapidly. 3. At the same test conditions, it was found that the stress relaxation rate of Cheongjangmadi was faster than that of other cultivars.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors affecting stress among resort workers. Methods: The subjects of the study were 199 resort workers in a province of Korea. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires that were completed between November 16, 2017 and January 19, 2018. The questionnaire consisted of stress and health promoting behavior and its sub-areas such as health responsibilities, physical activity, nutrition, spiritual growth, interpersonal relations, and stress management. Using the SPSS 23.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: The mean score of the stress levels of resort workers was $2.3{\pm}0.98$ out of a maximum score of 5. A multiple regression analysis revealed that gender, spiritual growth, and stress management were statistically significant factors in the model (p<.001), with an explanatory power of 35%. Conclusion: Stress levels were considerably high in resort workers. This study suggests that nursing interventions are needed to reduce stress levels and enhance health promoting behavior, especially spiritual growth and stress management, at both an individual and organizational level.

This study was attempted to provide the basic data concerning development of stress management program for hospital nurses, and to focused on the analysis of job stress and social support according to the types of behavior pattern. The subjects were 296 staff nurses at a general hospital in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS-PC+ 8.0 win for descriptive analysis and ANOVA analysis. The results of this study indicated that; 1) The perceived job stress was negatively correlated with social support and was positively correlated with TABP. 2) The score of the perceived job stress was higher in TABP nurses than TBBP. The TABP nurses usually perceived more support from peers than from supervisors These results showed that the staff nurses who supported from supervisor felt less stress, and the score of the perceived job stress was higher in TABP nurses than in TBBP. So the differences in social support and job stress according to the types of behavior pattern must be considered significantly in development of the staff nurses' stress management program. Also it was needed to develop the strategies that TABP nurses was effectively supported by the supervisor.
Purpose: The study was done to identify the relationship of symptoms of stress, cancer prevention behavior, the quality of life in women, and the factors influencing the quality of life. Method: The subjects of this study were 210 married women. They were living in Gyeonggi Province and Busan Metropolitan City. Symptoms of stress were measured by the Park's Stress Scale. Cancer preventive behavior was measured by Suh's Korean scale, and Smith Kline Beecham Quality of life' Scale by Dunbar. Data was analyzed with the SPSS program by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. Result: The higher scores of physical stress correlated with lower practice scores of cancer prevention behavior. Psychological and physical stress revealed negative correlations among sub-items of the QOL such as competence, psychological well-being, stability, physical well-being and activity. Multiple regression analysis revealed that the predictor of quality of life in the women was stress. A combination of symptoms of stress and cancer prevention behaviors accounted for 35.3% of the variance in the quality of life in the women. Conclusion: The most important factor influencing the quality of life of women was stress. Thus the study's findings can be useful in directing a comprehensive nursing care plan to improve the QOL of women.
This study examined the effects of marital relationships, mother's parenting stress and positive parenting behavior on the behavioral problems of preschoolers. For this purpose, we created a structural equation model and examined the goodness of fit of the model using the RMSEA, SRMR, TLI, and CFI. The participants were 986 4-year-old preschoolers and their mothers taken from the 5th year of the Korea Children's Panel. The results of this study were as follows: First, a negative marital relationship had a significant negative effect on behavioral problems of preschoolers directly. And a negative marital relationship had a significant indirect effect on behavioral problems of preschoolers through the parenting behavior. Second, parenting stress had a significant negative effect on behavioral problems of preschoolers directly. And parenting stress had a significant indirect effect on behavioral problems of preschoolers through the parenting behavior. These findings imply that both improving marital relationships and regulating mothers' parenting stress and parenting behavior need to be emphasized when designing prevention and intervention programs aimed at improving the behavioral problems of preschoolers.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to assess actor and partner effects of mothers' and fathers' parenting stress and family cohesion and flexibility on warm parenting behavior. Methods: The sample consisted of 1,471 couples from the Panel Study of Korean Children. The sample was drawn from the sixth wave of data collection, including mothers and fathers of children aged 60-66 months. Data were analyzed via actor-partner interdependence models. Results: The findings illustrated that the actor effect of parenting stress on warm parenting behavior was significant in mothers and fathers, but there was no partner effect. They also revealed that actor and partner effects were significant in relation to mothers' and father's parenting stress and family cohesion and flexibility. Moreover, there was an actor effect of family cohesion on warm parenting behavior for mothers and fathers, but its partner effect was significant only in mothers. Finally, the mediating effects of family cohesion and flexibility between parenting stress and warm parenting behavior was verified. Conclusion: The results highlight not only the need for dyadic data analysis for mothers and fathers but also the need to consider in depth the fathers' role in parenting. Additional implications are discussed.

This study highlights the theme of human error of train drivers, conducting empirical analysis on the relationship between emergency stress, psychological fatigue, safety behavior, and accident. The hypothetical test results based on questionnaires received from 223 train drivers working at A subway firm indicate that emergency stress shows a significant positive effect on psychological fatigue, which in turn shows a significant negative influence on safety behavior. And safety behavior is shown having a significant negative relationship with accident. These results suggest the necessity of corporate-level approaches to depict the drastic causes of drivers' emergency stress, and to effectively manage this stress, as well as the necessity of making effort to enhance safety behavior, and to prevent or reduce accidents.
This study was done to identify campus life stress, self-esteem and health promotion behavior of university students and to provide basic data for the qualitative improvement of health promoting behavior of young adult. The data were obtained from distributing structured questionnaires to 491 university students in Busan. It was collected from July. 2th to the Agu. 2th of 2012, and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and Multiple stepwise regression. The correlation between health promotion behavior and self esteem showed to be positivity correlated(r=.180, p<.001). Also the correlation between health promotion behavior and campus life stress showed to be negativity correlated(r=-.231, p<.001). Life stress(Challenges stress) and Self-esteem were significant predictor and accounted for 13.4% of the variance in health promotion behavior of university students. Therefore it is important to develop programs that increase their self-esteem and is required to prepare a program for the development of health promoting behaviors early adult.
