Methods: The participants in this study were 148 nurses working in S university hospital in P city. The scales included social support, health promoting lifestyle profile-II (HPLP-II), and nursing work performance. A descriptive analysis and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis. Results: Significant correlations were found among social support, health promotion behaviors and nursing work performance. The significant predictive factors of nursing work performance were the emotional support subscale of social support (β=.31, p<.001) and the interpersonal relations subscale of health promotion behaviors (β=.32, p<.001). These two subscales explained 27% of nursing work performance. Conclusion: Nursing education programs should include an emphasis on developing methods of emotional support and interpersonal relations in order to improve nursing work performance among clinical nurses.

This study was conducted to evaluate the health promotion behavior level, health beliefs, and self-efficacy of individuals preparing for civil service examinations, as well as the main factors that influence their health promotion behavior. The study subjects were 290 individuals who were preparing for civil service examinations in Noryangjin, where there are a lot of private institutions that provide training for the examinations. Data were collected by questionnaire surveys conducted from December 1 to 19, 2017. With the use of SPSS ver. 23, descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression were conducted. On average, the score for health promotion behavior practice was $2.37{\pm}0.45points$, health beliefs $3.13{\pm}0.45points$, and self-efficacy $3.55{\pm}0.74points$. Health promotion behavior was significantly positively correlated with perceived severity and perceived benefits, which are sub factors of health beliefs (r=.60, p<.001; r=.55, p<.001), while it was significantly negatively correlated with perceived barriers, which are a sub factor of health beliefs (r=.32, p<.001). The factors that influenced health promotion behavior were perceived health condition and perceived barriers, and the explanatory power of health promotion behavior was 25.1% (F=13.58, p<.001). In general, respondents studied for the examinations for a long time and were under severe job pressure; accordingly, they need to have quality meals, regular exercise, and regular medical check-ups to enhance health promotion behavior to control their stress.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors that affect the health promotion behaviors of shift workers. Methods: Using self-administered questionnaires, data were collected between August 13th and 31st, 2018. Descriptive statistics were computed, and t-test, analysis of variance, and correlational and multiple stepwise regression analyses were conducted using International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22. Results: Health promotion behaviors were significantly and positively correlated with psychological well-being (r=.491, p<.001), fatigue (r=.170, p=.030), and self-efficacy (r=.520, p<.001). Psychological well-being (${\beta}=.249$, p=.014), fatigue (${\beta}=.179$, p=.007), and self-efficacy (${\beta}=.335$, p=.001) had significant effects on health promotion behaviors and together explained 31.7% of the variance. Conclusion: A systematic educational program that enhances psychological well-being should be developed and implemented to nurture health promotion behaviors among shift workers. Additionally, an intervention program that can enhance health promotion behaviors should be implemented to improve self-efficacy and prevent fatigue among shift workers.

Methods: A total of 164 nursing students participated in the study. Data were analyzed by frequencies, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 25.0 software. Results: The mean scores for health promotion behavior and mental well-being were found to be above and below average, respectively. There were significant mean differences in health promotion behavior and mental well-being according to satisfaction with major and perceived physical health status. Health promotion behavior positively correlated with mental well-being. The significant predictors of mental well-being included self-actualization, stress management, and exercise of health promotion behavior. The regression model explained 49.1% of mental well-being. Conclusion: Improving self-actualization capability and stress management skills and developing a habit of regular exercise will increase mental well-being among nursing students.

Data analysis included descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Stepwise multiple regression and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. Results: Yangsaeng negatively correlated with stress (r=-.299, p<.001) but positively correlated with subjective happiness (r=.440, p<.001). Stress negatively correlated with subjective happiness (r=-.238, p<.001). Stepwise multiple regression revealed that Yangsaeng and satisfaction with the field of nursing explained 25.4% of subjective happiness. Conclusion: The Yangsaeng oriental health care regimen could lower stress and heighten subjective happiness.
