  • An ultrasonic linear motor was composed of a slider and a stator vibrator including piezoelectric material and elastic material. The ultrasonic linear motors mainly consist of an ultrasonic vibrator which generates elliptical oscillations. L1-B4 ultrasonic linear motor use longitudinal and bending multi-vibration. In order to design stators which has high efficiency and driving characteristics, The finite element method was used to optimize dimension of ultrasonic vibrator and direction of vibratory displacement. stator vibrator of respectively width 3, 5, 7[mm] was fabricated and experimented. as results When width was 5[mm], the driving characteristics was good.

  • A time-delay compensation method for vector control system is proposed that can compensate for voltage and current distortions resulting from a time delay in the overall system due to the low pass filter, hysteresis control inverter, microprocessor program computation time, and so on. The proposed scheme estimates the time delay using the difference between the Q-axis stator current command and the time-delayed actual Q-axis stator current in a synchronous reference frame, then compensates the time delay in the voltage and current using the angular displacement of a DQ transformation. Accordingly, the proposed scheme can accurately compensate for the time delay related to the overall system, thereby significantly improving the performance of the vector control system, as verified by simulation and experiment.

  • It requires to study on accurate control skill for the technical improvement of servo system require. It needs to study on brake that has constant-torque speed range as load. In this paper, braking torque of eddy current brake between electromagnet stator and rotating disk are analyzed. The torque-speed characteristics and proper disk construction are presented in here. From the computer simulation results, it was found that eddy current braking torque is linear or approximately constant over the desired speed range depending on the rotor material, disk construction, pole number and pole displacement of stator, these are confirmed by experimental results.

  • It needs to study on proper brake performance used in servo system of industrial application. In this study, braking torque of eddy current brake between electromagnet stator and rotating disk are analyzed.   • It is proposed that a novel method which can compensate the time delay occurs in overall system, when voltage and current is measured, owing to LPF, hysteresis control inverter and microprocessor program computation time. The Proposed scheme estimates the time delay using the difference between Q-axis stator current command and time delayed Q-axis stator current in synchronous reference frame, and compensates the time delay of voltage and current using angular displacement of DQ transformation. The proposed scheme compensates accurately the time delay occurs in overall system. Therefore performance of vector control system is improved highly and it is verified by simulation and experiment.

  • 압전소자의 초음파 진동을 구동원으로 하는 초음파 모터의 토오크 특성을 개선하기 위하여 양면 Teeth 구조를 가지는 진행파 여진용 고정자를 설계하고, 이를 유한요소해석 프로그램 ATILA-GID를 이용하여 변위분포를 해석하였다. 한 면에만 Teeth 구조를 가지는 기존의 고정자를 이용한 초음파 모터가 소형화, 제한된 토오크 응용분야에 있어서 Direct drive actuation을 위한 발판을 마련해 주었다면, 본 연구에서 제안하는 양면 Teeth 구조의 고정자는 토오크와 효율, 출력특성의 개선과 함께 구조적인 특성에서 기인하는 온도 안정성에 의하여 그 응용분야의 확대를 기대할 수 있다.

  • This paper deals with thrust characteristic by design parameter of linear synchronous reluctance motor(LSynRM). Mover of LSynRM used stator of linear induction machine. Design parameter being teeth width, teeth depth, airgap and displacement, we analyzed thrust characteristic on singleness or complex case. Also, we presented thrust characteristic using finite element method.

  • An ultrasonic linear motor was composed of a slider and a stator vibrator including piezoelectric material and elastic material. The ultrasonic linear motors mainly consist of an ultrasonic oscillator which generates elliptical oscillations. Elliptical oscillations are generated by synthesizing two degenerated modes. Direction of vibratory displacement was analyzed by employing the finite element method. So, we could recognize that the direction of the slider's movement was controlled by changing the Phase difference of the drive voltage.

  • Piezoelectric motors have been successfully developed for various applications like autofocus drives in camera lenses and handling equipment for high-accuracy positioning. In this paper, the travelling-wave motor which used in the camera lense, using bending vibration of a ring was studied. The basic structure of the motor is same but we suggested a few parameters for considering their design. The parameter is different from sine and cosine region of the voltage of the ceramic surface, displacement according to the wave number difference, and the phase difference. Same size of ceramics and aluminium ring were used for the stator. As a result, the displacement is dependent on the wave number.
