A human bite-mark shows special feature according to the suspect's dentition. The teeth which most frequently give useful bite-marks are six upper and lower anteriors, while the premolar teeth somtimes give marks it is often difficult to distinguish. The author tried to classify and to analize the anterior dentition which makes the bite-mark directly by means of 672 maxillary and 691 mandibular stone model taken from Korean adult aging from 17 to 40 years old. The results were as follows : 1. There was no particular correlation between the presence of six normal-shaped and correctly positioned upper and lower anteriors and the presence of rotation of teeth. 2. Inter central incisor, inter lateral incisor, inter canine width and angles of adjecent teeth were not identical eath other in studied models. 3. The results of this analysis supported the statement that any bite-mark had no same feature.

Digital leader caught seat by modern's everyday life tool now by popularization of smart device such as Smart phone and Tablet PC. Therefore, desire of readers about electronic book practical use is increasing based on convenience and economic performance of electronic book. 1971, Michael S. Hart established Project Gutenberg to produced first electronic book because inputs American Independence Declaration Statement by computer and produce more electronic books. After that, an electronic book technology repeats several times development and American electronic book take is increasing rapidly. Sales volume of electronic books is dramatically increasing in Korea since digital device such as Smart phone and Tablet PC became popular. This research attempts to analyze factors influencing on shifting from paper book to electronic book. Results of this research proposed grounds for building business strategy. Finding is the factor of social influence is only significant to acceptability intention. It means user of e-Book enhance their acceptability intention along social phenomena.

Gradient elastic flexural beams are dynamically analysed by analytic means. The governing equation of flexural beam motion is obtained by combining the Bernoulli-Euler beam theory and the simple gradient elasticity theory due to Aifantis. All possible boundary conditions (classical and non-classical or gradient type) are obtained with the aid of a variational statement. A wave propagation analysis reveals the existence of wave dispersion in gradient elastic beams. Free vibrations of gradient elastic beams are analysed and natural frequencies and modal shapes are obtained. Forced vibrations of these beams are also analysed with the aid of the Laplace transform with respect to time and their response to loads with any time variation is obtained. Numerical examples are presented for both free and forced vibrations of a simply supported and a cantilever beam, respectively, in order to assess the gradient effect on the natural frequencies, modal shapes and beam response.

In industrialised countries, innovation is a key source of economic growth. Research is a key driver of technological innovation and involves the process of systematic investigation and/or experimentation to discover new knowledge. The Governments' industry innovation policy supports a business focus on Research and Development (R&D) through a range of programs in order to achieve these aims. The Innovation Statement, launched by the Australian Prime Minister in January 2001, commits an additional $3 billion over five years to encourage and support innovation. The Australian Government aims to build world competitive firms and strong research capability in industry to strengthen Australia's international competitiveness and increase national prosperity. It develops policies and programs to enhance investment in innovation. The Australian Government also undertakes analysis and comparisons of innovation policies, instruments and approaches to maintain a leading-edge National Innovation System. This includes analysis of the innovation activities of other nations, and evaluation of the impacts of innovation policies and programs on Australia's institutions and enterprises. This paper examines Australia's Innovation policies, Backing Australian Ability.

The major purpose of this paper is to develop an uncertainty estimate for the calibration of thermopile instruments used to measure solar radiation parameters. We briefly describe the solar radiation parameters most often measured, instrumentation, reference standards, and calibration techniques. The bulk of the paper describes elemental sources of error and their magnitude. We then apply a standard error analysis methodology to combine these elemental error estimates into a statement of total uncertainty for the instrument calibration factor. Our results allow one to evaluate the accuracy of a radiometric measurement using thermopile instrumentation in the light of the application, such as engineering test evaluation or for validation of theoretical models.

The mechanical behavior of rectangular foundation plates with perimetric beams and internal stiffening beams of the plate is herein analyzed, taking the foundation design into account. A series of dimensionless parameters related to the geometry of the studied elements were defined. In order to generalize the problem statement, an initial settlements was considered. A numeric procedure was developed for the resolution by means of the Finite Differences Method that takes into account the stiffness of the plate, the perimetric and internal plate beams and the soil reaction module. Iterative algorithms were employed which, for each of the analyzed cases, made it possible to find displacements and reaction percentages taken by the plate and those that discharge directly into the perimetric beams, practically without affecting the plate. To enhance its mechanical behavior the internal stiffening beams were prestressed and the results obtained with and without prestressing were compared. This analysis was made considering the load conditions and the soil reaction module constant.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a profile modification technique of spur gears and its computer program for the prevention of gear tooth overlap. In the gear system, tooth overlap produces an impact at the initial contact of some tooth pairs. In this analysis, contact surface was assumed to be unbonded and frictionless under small deformation and stain. The problem is formulated by a variational statement with inequality constraint. Tooth load sharing is obtained by the application of contact theory, and overlap is known by the analysis of deformation. After carrying out the profile modification of gear tooth, we verified the reasonable results.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to compare analysis of financial performance in university hospitals. Methods: Data from 2005 to 2017 were collected from income statement, balance sheet, and annual reports in 23 university hospitals. The dependent variables are used financial performance, namely, medical profit to total assets, medical profit to medical revenue, and net profit to medical revenue. The independent variables are establishment type, hospital province, bed, open liquidity, stability, and activity. Results: From 2005 to 2007, university hospitals steadily increased medical revenues, nonmedical revenues, medical profit, net profit, and reserve fund for essential business by investing fixed assets using financial leverage. From 2015 to 2017, the debt ratio was minimized based on existing management performance. Results showed that university hospitals maintained high profitability by actively investing in medical equipment, medical environment, and facilities using reserve fund for essential business. Conclusions: Results suggest that this will be the basic data for efficient management of university hospitals.

Purposes: The purposes of this study is analysis of business performance in national university hospitals in Korea. Methodology: Data from 2010 to 2019 were collected from balance sheet, income statement, and annual reports in 11 national university hospitals. The dependant variables are business performance which are operating margin to total assets, operating margin to gross revenue, and net income to gross revenue. The independent variables are the number of bed, hospital location, opening, liquidity, stability, and activity. Findings: In recent years, activity has been shown to have a lot of influence on management performance. National university hospitals increase profitability by using resources as efficiently as possible. The short-term debt and fixed assets have been increased rapidly in recent years. It was found that management performance has been increased through active investment using financial leverage. Practical Implications: Based on these results, this study will be the basic data for efficient management of national university hospitals.
