It is expected that the temperature in Pyeongyang will be similar to that ($16.6^{\circ}C$) in Seogwipo in the late 21st century, and most of South Korea will enter the subtropical climate due to climate change. Change in the precipitation pattern like the range of fluctuation caused by climate change will lead to expanded uncertainty in securing reliable water supply, along with a serious impact on demands for living and industrial water due to change in the volume and period of river outflow. As industrial water for production activities is estimated based on the contract quantity, it is difficult to apply rationalization of water usage and incentives in water recycling. Therefore many companies are making efforts in complying with the effluent standard while spending few resources on such rationalization and recycling. This study researched water risk management over 115 Korean companies by 28 questions in 4 categories. Through the research, this study aims to understand water risk management levels and seek response plans.
The uncertainty in WindCube LIDAR measurements, which are specific to wind profiling at less than 200m above ground levelin wind resource assessments, was analyzed focusing on the error caused by its volume sampling principle. A two-month SODAR measurement campaign conducted in an urban environment was adopted as the reference wind profile assuming that various atmospheric boundary layer shapes had been captured. The measurement error of LIDAR at a height z was defined as the difference in the wind speeds between the SODAR reference data, which was assumed to be a virtually true value, and the numerically averaged wind speed for a sampling volume height interval of $z{\pm}12.5m$. The pattern of uncertainty in the measurement was found to have a maximum in the lower part of the atmospheric boundary layer and decreased with increasing height. It was also found that the relative standard deviations of the wind speed error ratios were 6.98, 2.70 and 1.12% at the heights of 50, 100 and 150m above ground level, respectively.
Vibration-based fault detection and condition monitoring of rotating machinery, using statistical process control (SPC) combined with statistical pattern recognition methodology, has been widely investigated by many researchers. In particular, the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is considered as a powerful tool for feature extraction in detecting fault on rotating machinery. Although DWT significantly reduces the dimensionality of the data, the number of retained wavelet features can still be significantly large. Then, the use of standard multivariate SPC techniques is not advised, because the sample covariance matrix is likely to be singular, so that the common multivariate statistics cannot be calculated. Even though many feature-based SPC methods have been introduced to tackle this deficiency, most methods require a parametric distributional assumption that restricts their feasibility to specific problems of process control, and thus limit their application. This study proposes a nonparametric multivariate control chart method, based on multiscale wavelet scalogram (MWS) features, that overcomes the limitation posed by the parametric assumption in existing SPC methods. The presented approach takes advantage of multi-resolution analysis using DWT, and obtains MWS features with significantly low dimensionality. We calculate Hotelling's $T^2$-type monitoring statistic using MWS, which has enough damage-discrimination ability. A bootstrap approach is used to determine the upper control limit of the monitoring statistic, without any distributional assumption. Numerical simulations demonstrate the performance of the proposed control charting method, under various damage-level scenarios for a bearing system.
Circuit testing process is very important in IC Manufacturing there are two ways in research for circuit testing improvement. These are ATPG Tool Design and Test simulation application. We are interested in how to use parallel technique such as one-side communication, parallel IO and dynamic Process with data partition for circuit testing improvement and we use one-side communication technique in this paper. The parallel ATPG Tool can reduce the test pattern sets of the circuit that is designed in laboratory for make sure that the fault is not occur. After that, we use result for parallel circuit test simulation to find fault between designed circuit and tested circuit. From the experiment, We use less execution time than non-parallel Process. And we can set more parameter for less test size. Previous experiment we can't do it because some parameter will affect much waste time. But in the research, if we use the best ATPG Tool can optimize to least test sets and parallel circuit testing application will not work. Because there are too little test set for circuit testing application. In this paper we use a standard sequential circuit of ISCAS89.
Introducing the market into the electricity industry lets the multiple participants get into new competition. These multiple participants of the market need new business strategies for providing value added services to customer. Therefore they need the accurate customer information about the electricity demand. Demand characteristic is the most important one for analyzing customer information. In this study load profile data, which can be collected through the Automatic Meter Reading System, are analyzed for getting demand patterns of customer. The load profile data include electricity demand in 15 minutes interval. An algorithm for clustering similar demand patterns is developed using the load profile data. As results of classification, customers are separated into several groups. And the representative curves for the groups are generated. The number of groups is automatically generated. And it depends on the threshold value for distance to separate groups. The demand characteristics of the groups are discussed. Also, the compositions of demand contracts and standard industrial classification in each group are presented. It is expected that the classified curves will be used for tariff design, load forecasting, load management and so on. Also it will be a good infrastructure for making a value added service related to electricity.
Background: Urothelial carcinoma (UC) is a malignant neoplasm that most commonly occurs in the urinary bladder. The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the clinicopathologic features, recurrence and progression in patients with bladder urothelial cancer. Materials and Methods: The medical records of patients diagnosed with UC in the state pathology laboratory between January 2006 and July 2014 were retrospectively included. Carcinomas were categorized according to age, gender, histologic grade, tumor configuration, pathologic staging, recurrence status, and progression. Results: A total of 125 (113 men, 12 women) patients were examined. The mean age was 65.9 years and the male-to-female urothelial cancer incidence ratio was 9.4:1. Low-grade UCs were observed in 85 (68%) and high-grade in 40 (32%). A papillary tumor pattern was observed in 67.2% of the UCs. Cases were classified with the following pathological grades: 34 (27.2%) cases of pTa, 70 (56%) of pT1, and 21 (16.8%) of pT2. Recurrence occurred in 27 (21.6%) patients. Ten progressed to a higher stage (pT1 to pT2), and three cases to higher grade (low to high). We also analyzed the results separately for 70 (56%) patients 65 years of age and older. Conclusions: With early detection and diagnosis of precursor lesions in older patients, by methods such as standard urologic evaluation, urinary cytology, ultrasound scanning and contrast urography, and cystoscopy, in addition to coordinated efforts between pathologists and urologists, early diagnosis may reduce the morbidity and mortality of patients with urothelial carcinoma.

In this paper, proposed to improve the performance of speech and mixed content signal classification using MFCC based on GMM probability model used for the MPEG USAC(Unified Speech and Audio Coding) standard. For effective pattern recognition, the Gaussian mixture model (GMM) probability model is used. For the optimal GMM parameter extraction, we use the expectation maximization (EM) algorithm. The proposed classification algorithm is divided into two significant parts. The first one extracts the optimal parameters for the GMM. The second distinguishes between speech and mixed content signals using MFCC feature parameters. The performance of the proposed classification algorithm shows better results compared to the conventionally implemented USAC scheme.

The numerous benefits of Savonius turbine such as simple in structure, has appropriate self-start ability, relatively low operating velocity, water acceptance from any direction and low environmental impact have generated interests among researchers. However, it suffers from a lower efficiency compared to other types of water turbine. To improve its performance, parameters such flow pattern, pressure and velocity in different conditions must be analyzed. For this purpose, a detailed description on the flow field of various types of Savonius rotors is required. This article presents a numerical study on a nonlinear two-dimensional flow over a classic Savonius type rotor and a Benesh type rotor. In this experiment, sliding mesh was used for solving the motion of the bucket. The unsteady Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations were solved for velocity and pressure coupling by using the SIMPLE (Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure linked Equations) algorithm. Other than that, the turbulence model using $k-{\varepsilon}$ standard obtained good results. This simulation demonstrated the method of the flow field characteristics, the behavior of velocity vectors and pressure distribution contours in and around the areas of the bucket.
This study was intended to investigate the consolidation characteristics of lowly organic soils and highly organic ones, with organic content 15 of and 68 % respectively. which were sampled from three different soil regions in Chonbuk province. The results were obtained partly from standard consolidation test but mostly from single increment consolidation test in which each sample was held under the first sustained load for weeks. Highly organic soils retained considerably larger void ratio than lowly organic ones. Decrease of void ratio due to load increment was gradual in lowly organic soils and abrupt in highly organic ones. The long-term compression quantity of the highly organic soils became linearly proportional to the logarithm of time after 5 minutes. The lowly organic soils showed a compression pattern similar to that of clay. For highly organic soils, the secondary consolidation coefficient appeared to have a constant relationship with the logarithm of consolidation time, and therefore may be used as a significant factor in estimating the long-term settlement.
Zinc gallate $(ZnGa_2O_4)$ thin film phosphors have been formed on ITO glass substrates by a sol-gel spinning coating method. For the formation of the film phosphors, the starting materials of zinc acetate dihydrate, gallium nitrate hydrate and 2-methoxyethanol as a solution were used. The thin films deposited were firstly dried at $100^{\circ}C$ and fired at $500^{\circ}C\;or\;600^{\circ}C$ for 30 min and then, annealed $500^{\circ}C\;or\;600^{\circ}C$ at for 30 min under an annealing atmosphere of 3% $H_2/Ar$. The thin films deposited on ITO glass plates showed the (220), (222), (400), (422), (511), and (440) peaks of spinel structure as well as the (311) peak indicating a standard powder diffraction pattern. The surface morphologies of the thin film phosphors were observed with a firing and an annealing condition. The $ZnGa_2O_4$ film phosphors showed the blue emission spectra around 410 nm as well as the emission spectra in the UV region (360-380 nm).
