Fire prevention strategies should be aimed at the prevention of structured fire since average annual rates of structured fire have been increased due to economic growth resulted in increasing high rise buildings and multipurpose occupancies over the past ten years. Hence, this study mainly focused on the improve method and problems in the field test of fire detector in compliances with experimental consideration. And it leads us to the flowing conclusions : Firstly, it is necessary to formulate a safety standards on field test. Nowadays, the test enforced in many ways without formulated standard. Therefore it is necessary to be complete the arrangements standardized and how to do the test with formulated safety standards. Second, it is necessary to establish the regal guidance with regard to inspection equipment, ie density, component and temperature of test equipment should be considered. Also the equipment is need to be standardized and improved. Third, fire inspector's competency in their practice should be enhanced. The problems arising from the lack of knowledge and competence regarding inspection could be settled by providing professional education to ensure proficiency in their practice. Specialized training, as has been noted, should be offered in accordance with occupancy type, scale and fire protection system in the fire facilities.

Purpose: This study focuses on investigating the effectiveness of simulation education on emergency management using a low-fidelity simulator as related to clinical skill performance, self-confidence, knowledge, learning satisfaction, and critical thinking disposition in new nurses. Methods: A pre-post test experimental design of nonequivalent control group was applied. Fifty-five new nurses were recruited, 28 nurses for the experimental group and 27 nurses for the control group. A simulation education for emergency management comprising knowledge lecture, team learning, skill education, team simulation, and debriefing was developed and implemented from Feb. 14 to 27, 2015. Data were analyzed with percentage, average, and standard deviation, chi-square, and t-test using SPSS. Results: The experimental group showed significantly higher knowledge (t=5.81, p<.001), clinical skill performance (t=10.08, p<.001), self-confidence (t=-6.24, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (t=2.42, p=.019), and learning satisfaction (t=4.21, p<.001) for emergency management compared with the control group who had traditional lecture education. Conclusion: The results indicate that a simulation education using a low-fidelity simulator is an efficient teaching method for new nurses to deepen their clinical skill performance, self-confidence, knowledge, learning satisfaction, and critical thinking disposition in learning emergency management.
This research treated the secondary school teachers as the research scale and the research targets included the following: secondary school (employ unit), center of teacher education, and qualified teachers. In terms of these three groups of people, the topics of exploration focused on the perception of suitable teachers, perception of evaluation standard during the process of teacher examination and the relationship among teacher examination systems. The research was managed by two phases: the first phase referred to literature reorganization, expert interview, the qualities and conditions of suitable teachers, important evaluation standard during the process of teacher examination and teacher examination system used; the second phase included questionnaire survey, employ school acquisition, the perception of centers of teacher education and qualified teachers toward the suitability condition and examination evaluation standard in the first phase and teacher examination system used. This research found out that as to the perception of suitable teachers, through data collection, there were six factors reorganized. The levels of their importance were as follows: education devotion, teaching capacity, class management, capacity to guide special students, capacity to communicate with the parents and the will to undertake administrative works. Noticeably, employee unit and centers of teacher education apparently valued class management more, compared with trained teachers; as to evaluation standard of examination, the analytical result found out that the perception of three groups were different in terms of the views toward educational works, written examination data, candidate's age, club experience at school and capacity to use multimedia support teaching materials. This research further proposed six suggestions for centers of teacher education and trained teachers: (l) employ schools considerably valued educational devotion; (2) trained teachers tended to neglect the importance of class management; (3) employee unit considerably cared about the new teachers' competence to use multimedia support teaching materials; however, trained teachers did not have the same view; (4) employee unit considerably cared about new teachers' views toward educational works as well as the candidates' ages; (5) generally speaking, trained teachers neglected the importance of club experience at school; (6) the data revealed that written examination data was not relatively important in terms of teacher examination.
Promoting job growth and quality has been central to developing countries to reduce poverty for decades. In this regard, Nepal is not unique in its need to develop effective TVET programme as it is considered showing positive association with workforce development and productivity. While the copious academic literature has highlighted upon staff training programme in general education, it encounters lack of adequate attention in the field of TVET education. The purpose of the study is to identity and prioritise the professional development needs for the teachers of TVET sector in Nepal. A sample(N=317) of Nepalese teachers from seven provinces were asked to answer the scale. The Borich needs assessment model was employed to assess the perceived level of importance and present preferred training modules among 29 teaching subjects. Moreover, a quadrant analysis using 2×2 matrix was used as a diagnostic tool to denote overriding training topics. The result shows that following competence skills constructs were perceived to be in high need of enhancement as well as in existence of discrepancies: 'occupational characteristics of TVET trainer', 'training needs analysis and curriculum development', 'curriculum development based on national competence standard(NCS)', and 'Institution management evaluation'.
With the change of society and the rapid development of science and technology, the direction of future education and the functions of schools have changed. Also the roles and tasks of teachers are changing rapidly. As Germany entered into the 21st century, many discussions let to a consensus on the direction of future education and schooling withholding a sense of responsibility and solidarity for the education of all members of the society. As a result, standards for the training of general teachers and teachers for special education were presented. The purpose of this study is to compare the standard contents of teacher training for special education in Germany with the qualification criteria for special school, teachers in Korea, focusing on evaluation and giving as well detailed information on the examination of teachers for special school, as on basic subjects for the qualification of special school teachers for special education in Korea will be explored. As a result, the content of this study can be summarized by four items. The first one is dealing with the creation of a consciousness of solidarity and a sense of responsibility among the members of the society for the future education and the role of schools and teachers. The second item ist about including the capacity and competence of teachers in the restructuring of the school and in the minimum standards of teacher training for special education. Third, the specificity of each state (provincial and local) is considered in the content of standards for teacher training. Fourth, standards for teacher training are linked to each other, previous teacher education, trainee teacher education, and current teacher education.
Objective : The purpose of our study is to compare and analyze the standards for the 2nd cycle of Evaluation and Accreditation system on institute of Korean Medicine Education & Evaluation (2nd IKMEE standards) and WHO guidelines for quality assurance of Traditional Medicine Education in the Western Pacific Region (WHO/WPRO guidelines) around the global standards of World Federation for Medical Education for basic medical education (WFME standard) to identify the shortcomings and improvements of 2nd IKMEE standards. Method : Each article of 2015 revised WFME standard was translated and summarized with focus on its core content. The next step was to review and analyze the corresponding contents of 2nd IKMEE standards in 2016 and the WHO/WPRO guidelines in 2005 for each item, focusing on the WFME standards. Results : All items in the fields of 3. assessment of students and 7. program evaluation in the WFME domain were absent from the 2nd IKMEE standards, and almost none of the WHO/WPRO guidelines. Most items in 1. the mission and outcomes domain, except for some items in the 1.1 mission field, the items of 2.6~2.8 fields in 2. education program domain, the items of 4. student domain except for the items of 4.3 student counseling and support field, and almost all items about quality development in WFME standards did not have a corresponding item in both the 2nd IKMEE standards and the WHO/WPRO standards. Conclusion : 1. The WFME standards are applicable to the criteria development of IKMEE standards. Several items of the WFME standards may need to be modified to apply the educational characteristics of Korean medicine, but consensus or further study is required. 2. Both the 2nd IKMEE standards and the WHO/WPRO standards are very insufficient to meet the WFME standards. In particular, 3. assessment of students and 7. program evaluation in the WFME domain were not in the 2nd IKMEE standards. This standard needs to be supplemented.

The Purpose of this Study is to Identify the Learning Modules of the National Competency Standard (NCS) Related to the Information Systems Development Curriculum of 4-year Colleges, to Explore the Possibility of Applying NCS to the Curriculum, and to Examine Implications. The Importance of 26 Competency Units in the Applied SW Engineering of NCS was Compared by Area Experts Composed of 14 Information Systems Developers and Professors of 7 Universities who Teach Software Engineering Subjects Through the Hierarchical Analysis Process (AHP). The Results of the Study as Follows. First, the Relative Importance of the Competency Elements was in order of 'Confirming the Requirements', 'Checking the UI Requirements', 'Designing the Physical Data Repository', 'Testing Developer Integration', and 'Fixing Developer Defects'. Second, while the Entry and Intermediate Level Developer Group Determined that the Competency Elements Related to the IS Development Implementation Stage is more Important, the Advanced IS Developer Groups Consider the Competency Elements Related to the Theory-oriented Design Stage as Important Competency. In Addition, the Group of College Professors was Found to Choose all the Practical and Theoretical Competency Elements that Two Developers Groups Considered Important. Implications of the Study Suggested that the Job Performance Competence and Quality of Education Related to IS Development can be Enhanced.
Global competition has resulted in companies' expectations to heighten competitiveness and enhance customer service through ownership companies' reduced investment on logistics costs, in turn focusing on the development of core competence, in addition to logistics companies' increased tendencies to satisfy customers' needs and requirements through logistics outsourcing. However, a partial perspective of the logistics contract exists due to its flexible characteristic in order to act accordingly in times of sudden changes and uncertainty. Therefore, this study is designed to test through a survey the standard of desired format of logistics contract in comparison to the currently existing format based on the results of researcher's previous study on the specific clauses in the logistics contract and its effect on the logistics outcome. A hypothesis has been designed to test the differences of perspective between two test groups, and a t-test &IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) was performed. As a result, firstly, there was a significant difference of perspective between the ownership companies and logistics companies when dealing with the logistics contract; secondly, a significant difference of perspective was also expressed between the two groups on how to guide and re-direct the present standard of logistics contract. In addition, the two groups also showed a difference of expectations between the current and future service standard. Therefore, this study is designed to specify the difference of perspective and expectations between the ownership companies and the logistics companies in order to provide a gateway for the two groups in order to further develop and enhance the field of logistics.
Purpose: This study describes current curricula for paramedic students in South Korea and proposes a standardization of the curriculum. Methods: Data were collected from 38 colleges and universities from March 1 to 31, 2016. Descriptive statistics were calculated using SPSS 23.0. Results: The proposed standard curriculum was below. Requisite liberal arts consisted of 2 subjects and 6 credits including biomedical ethics, communications and human relationships. Common major subjects were composed of 6 areas, 22 subjects, and 78 credits. The areas of basic medicine consisted of 6 subjects and 16 credits including medical terminology. Introduction to paramedicine consisted of 3 subjects and 7 credits. Emergency patient management consisted of 2 subjects and 9 credits. Particulars to paramedic care consisted of 8 subjects and 31 credits. The law area consisted of 1 subject and 3 credits. Other major areas consisted of 2 subjects and 12 credits including integrated simulation and physician assistance. Common field practice area consisted of 3 to 4 subjects and 9 to 12 credits. Conclusion: It is important to establish and adapt a standardized curriculum for paramedic students in order to ensure competence and to provide high quality emergency medical services.

Competencies are defined as an observable and assessable set of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Graduation competencies, which are more comprehensive, refer to the required abilities of students to perform on-site work immediately after graduation. As graduation competencies set the goal of education, various countries and institutions have introduced them for new veterinary graduates. The Korean Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges has recently established such competencies to standardize veterinary education and enhance quality levels thereof. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of establishing graduation competencies as well as their implication for veterinary education in Korea. Graduation competencies for veterinary education in Korea comprise 5 domains (animal health care and disease management, one health expertise, communication and collaboration, research and learning, and veterinary professionalism). These are further divided into 11 core competencies, and 33 achievement standards, which were carefully chosen from previous case analyses and nation-wide surveys. Currently, graduation competencies are used as a standard for setting clear educational purposes for both instructors and students. Establishing these competencies further initiated the development of detailed learning outcomes, and of a list of basic veterinary clinical performances and skills, which is useful for assessing knowledge and skills. The establishment of graduation competencies is expected to contribute to the continuous development of Korean veterinary education in many ways. These include curriculum standardization and licensing examination reform, which will eventually improve the competencies of new veterinary graduates.
