  • High flowable concrete was first developed in 1988 to achieve durable concrete structures. High flowable concrete can improve workability sharply reason why the concrete has properties of resistance to segregation, filling ability, passing ability without compacting. Therefore, as we apply a high flowable concrete to a large dimensional tunnel which constructed in special environment, we can get workability, strength and durability required. Tunnel lining concrete with a large dimension has to use necessarily fly ash and slag for the properties of high flowability and watertight. We can expect improvement of workability and durability, mitigation of hydration, reducing shrinkage, enhancement of watertight by using cementitious materials. This paper proposes investigations for establishing a mix-design method and high flowability-strength testing methods have been carried out from the viewpoint of making a standard concrete tunnel lining with large dimension a standard.

  • As life style becomes to be complicated, lots of support technologies were developed. The bar code technology is one of them. It was renovating approach to goods industry. However, data storage ability in one dimension bar code came in limit because of industry growth. Two-dimension bar code was proposed to overcome one-dimension bar code. PDF417 bar code most commonly used in standard two-dimension bar codes is well defined at data decoding and error correction area. More works could be done in bar code image acquisition process. Applying various image enhancement algorithms, the recognition rate of PDF417 bar code is improved.

  • This study suggested the Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension. The Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension is to evaluate the quantitative variation of the attractor. In this paper the speaker recognition is evaluated by the Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension. It has been proved that the suggested Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension is superior in the discrimination characteristics between standard reference pattern attractors, and in reference to the test pattern attractor, it has been verified that it is the speaker recognition parameter which absorbs the pattern variation. In order to evaluate the Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension as speaker recognition parameter, the mistaken recognition according to discrimination error in each of speaker and standard reference pattern was estimated, and the validity of the speaker recognition parameter was experimental. As the result of the speaker recognition experiment, 97.0[%] of recognition ratio was obtained, and it was confirmed that the Fuzzy Lyapunov dimension was fit for the speaker recognition parameter.

  • In this paper, for any two bipartite ordered sets P and Q, we define the convolution P * Q of P and Q. For dim(P)=s and dim(Q)=t, we prove that s+t-(U+V)-2 dim(P*Q) s+t-(U+V)+2, where U+V is the max-mn integer of the certain realizers. In particular, we also prove that dim(P)=n+k- {{{{ { n+k} over {3 } }}}} for 2 k n<2k and dim(Pn ,k)=n for n 2k, where Pn,k=Sn*Sk is the convolution of two standard ordered sets Sn and Sk.

  • The purpose of the study, approaching from the aspect of the construction technologies, is to determine the architectural techniques of traditional wood architects in existence, through which the systems and techniques that create the inherent characteristics of Korean architecture are clarified. With understanding traditional construction system and focusing on the fact that built environment results from the consistent standards and technologies of architects, this study inquires into the systematic standard and its formation that present in the process of planning for the overall scale and shape of a building from the study determines dimension of structural members. All the members that constitute the structure are trimmed in advance and assembled in a short period of time on the site. Because of that, the dimensions for trimming and assembling are predetermined according to designated standards in the planning process, therefore consistent standard of computation are in necessity to design shapes and sizes of enormous amount of structural members. This study also shows the standards of measurement employed by architects while planning for structural members of a building, and how the size and range of its composition are developed.

  • The multiple targets tracking problem has been one of the main issues in the radar applications area in the last decade. Besides the standard Kalman filtering, various methods including the variable dimen-sion filter, input estimation filter, interacting multiple model(IMM) filter, dederated variable dimension filter with input estimation, etc., have proposed to address the tracking and sensor fusion issues. In this pa- per, two existing tracking algorithm, i.e, the IMM filter and the variable dimension filter with input estima-tion(VDIE), are combined for the purpose of improving the tracking performance for maneuvering targets. To evaluate the tracking performance of the proposed algorithm, three typical maneuvering patterns, i.e., waver, pop-up, and high-diver motions, are defined and are applied to the modified IMM filter as well as the standard IMM filter. The smaller RMS tracking errors, in position and velocity, of the modified IMM filter than the standard IMM filter are demonstrated though computer simulations.

  • The method of delays is widely used for reconstruction chaotic attractors from experimental observations. Many studies have used a fixed delay time ${\tau}_d$ as the embedding dimension m is increased, but this is not necessarily the best choice for obtaining good convergence of the correlation dimension. Recently, some researchers have suggested that it is better to fix the delay time window ${\tau}_w$ instead. Unfortunately, ${\tau}_w$ cannot be estimated using either the autocorrelation function or the mutual information, and no standard procedure for estimating ${\tau}_w$ has yet emerged. However, a new technique, called the C-C method, can be used to estimate either ${\tau}_d\;or\;{\tau}_w$. Using this method, we show that, for small data sets, fixing ${\tau}_w$, rather than ${\tau}_d$, does indeed lead to a more rapid convergence of the correlation dimension as the embedding dimension m in increased.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigation the importance and categorization of task elements of school food service dietician and to provide the useful data for standard model of the dietician′s tasks of school foodservice. This study was conducted in school food services nationwide in method of written questionnaire. The questionnaires were mailed to the dieticians of 3 type school foodservice system-conventional, commissary, joint management. Of the 660 schools that participated in this study, the responses from 212 conventional system and 212 commissary system and 200 joint management system were selected for analysis. Statistical analysis was performed with SAS/Win 6.12 package program for descriptive analysis, T-test, ANOVA, factor analysis using. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows Importance level was more than 4 score out of 5 scale in most of the task elements. The result was indicative of the appropriateness of definition of the 61 task elements. Of 61 task elements, importance level on ′nutrition education′ and on ′evaluation of foodservice operation management′ indicated the most significant difference between present and ideal situation. Through factor analysis, 61 task elements were regrouped into 7 dimensions; "Duty dimension of cooking and distribution management", "Duty dimension of cost management", "Duty dimension of raw material management", "Duty dimension of education management", "Duty dimension of menu management", "Duty dimension of record keeping of foodservice", "Duty dimension of general management (others)".
