  • This technology is applicable to Electrical vehicle that using Energy from Hydrogen Fueled Cell. Electricity & water is got from chemical reaction between H2 & O2 in stack. This technology is used when fault diagnosis of Fuel cell is needed. It is General method that measure each cell's voltage of stack for fault diagnosis. but, this technology is method of measuring entire voltage of stack. For this reason, fault diagnosis system is simplified and cost of system is lower than previous one. In normal stack condition, characteristic graph of voltage-current has linearity. In fault stack condition, it has non-linearity. we use this characteristic to diagnosis of stack fault. In this technology, Specific frequency current is injected into stack & Stack voltage is measured in response. After that, stack voltage difference is analyzed to diagnosis of stack fault. Presently, Development of current injection module & basic program of THDA is finished. in future we will develop the technology of precise measurement technology about entire stack voltage.

  • The durability of 80 kW class stack module was tested in hydrogen recirculation and non-recirculation systems with the condition of 300Amps (constant current mode) and hydrogen pulse purging (10 seconds close/0.8 seconds open). A localized membrane failure in the interfacial area between membrane and sub-gasket, carbon corrosion in cathode electrode, and Pt dissolution/extraction have been found through the post mortem analysis such as CV, Impedance, SEM, and so on. The main reason of these mechanisms will be discussed in this study.

Signal integrity analysis of system interconnection module of high-density server supporting serial RapidIO

  • In this paper, we analyzed the signal integrity of a system interconnection module for a proposed high-density server. The proposed server integrates several components into a chassis. Therefore, the proposed server can access multiple computing resources. To support the system interconnection, among the highly integrated computing resources, the interconnection module, which is based on Serial RapidIO, has been newly adopted and supports a bandwidth of 800 Gbps while routing 160 differential signal traces. The module was designed for two different stack-up types on a printed circuit board. Each module was designed into 12- (version 1) and 14-layer (version 2) versions with thicknesses of 1.5T and 1.8T, respectively. Version 1 has a structure with two consecutive high-speed signal-layers in the middle of two power planes, whereas Version 2 has a single high-speed signal placed only in the space between two power planes. To analyze the signal integrity of the module, we probed the S-parameters, eye-diagrams, and crosstalk voltages. The results show that the high-speed signal integrity of Version 2 has a better quality than Version 1, even if the signal trace length is increased.

PEM 연료전지 스택의 과도상태 출력특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Transient Characteristics of PEM Fuel Cell Stack)

  • The transient power characteristics of a PEM fuel cell stack was experimentally studied using a commercial 1.2kW PEM fuel cell ($Nexa^{TM}$ Power Module, Ballard Power System Inc.). The conditions in PEM fuel cell stack such as temperature and water content change rather slowly because of their large heat capacity and long channel length, which results in long transient time to converge to a steady state. The steady characteristics of the PEM fuel cell module was determined first, followed by the measurement of its transient characteristics upon stepwise and continuous load current changes. During the stepwise current change from 5A to 25A, the output voltage initially decreased below the steady voltage and then increased gradually. Similar behavior was also observed for the stepwise current change from 25A to 5A. This transient behavior is explained with reference to the evolution of the temperature and water content of the PEM fuel cell stack.

  • 본 논문은 리눅스 커널 운영체제에서 커널 개발자의 실수나 의도하지 않은 오류 및 시스템 오류로 인하여 발생되는 시스템 정지 현상을 줄이기 위해서 커널 스택의 복구를 통한 커널 하드닝 기능을 구현한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 커널 하드닝 기능은 panic이 발생한 커널 주소에 대해서 커널 스택 내의 값들을 정상적인 값으로 복구함으로써 정상적인 시스템 동작을 보장한다 본 논문에서 제안한 커널 하드닝 기능을 리눅스 커널 중에서 많이 사용하는 네트워크 모듈에 적용하였다. 커널 스택 복구를 통한 커널 하드닝 기능의 실험을 위하여 네트워크 모듈에 강제적인 panic 현상을 유발시키고, 잘못된 스택 값의 복구를 통해서 정상 동작을 실험하였다.

  • In this paper, the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power capacity inverter system of the 660V voltage class is described. The parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for 1.5MVA medium power inverter system's design is applied. The results of the parallel operation are described in this paper. The designed stack capacity for parallel operation is 800kVA class. For 1.5MVA inverter system, the 800kVA stack is applied with 2 parallel configurations. The 800kVA stack is designed with 3 parallel configurations of the IGBT Module. In this paper, the feasibility for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power inverter by applying the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack is verified. The experimental results show the good characteristics for the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack.

  • The interface between host processor and the ShortStack Micro Server may be a Serial Communication Interface(SCI). The LonWorks control module with a high performance is developed, which is composed of the 8 bit PIC Microprocessor for host processor and the smart neuron chip for the ShoretStack Micro Server. This intelligent control board is verified as proceeding the various function tests from experimental system with an boost pump and inverter driving systems. It is also confirmed that the developed control module provides stably 0-10VDC linear signal to the input signal of inverter driving system for varying the induction motor speed. Thus, the experimental results show that the fabricating intelligent board carried out very well the various functions in the wide operating ranges of boost pump system. This developed control module expect to apply to industrial fields to require the comparatively exact control and monitoring such as multi-motor driving system with inverter, variable air volume system and the boost pump water supply systems.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented digital wireless audio system with embedded RTOS using Bluetooth. Transmitter is consisted of a Settopbox, FIFO for interface block, Microprocessor(ARM7TDMI), UART driver and Bluetooth module. Receiver is consisted of a Microprocessor, AC-3 decoder, Bluetooth module and a Speaker with Amp. We programed Bluetooth protocal stack of HCI, L2CAP, and RFCOMM, so that Bluetooth module interacts with CPU.

  • FPN (fixed-pattern-noise) mainly comes from the device or pattern mismatches in pixel and color filter, pixel photodiode leakage in CMOS image sensor. In this paper, optical stack module related pixel FPN was investigated and the classification of pixel FPN contribution with the individual optical module process was presented. The methodology and procedure would be helpful in reducing the greater pixel FPN and distinguishing the complex FPN sources with respect to various noise factors.

  • In this paper, Cell voltage monitoring method is studied for fault detection of PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) for FCEV(fuel cell electric vehicle). To measuring several hundred of cells in fuel cell stack, The demanded feature of hardware and software is studied and several types are analysed. Finally, $3.26\%$ maximum measuring error is acquired and verified experimentally.
