In evaluation of blast-induced vibration, peak particle velocity (PPV) is generally calculated by using attenuation relation curve. Calculated velocity is compared with the value in legal requirements or the standards to determine the stability. Attenuation relation curve varies depending on frequency of test blasting, geological structure of the site and blasting condition, so it is difficult to predict accurately using such an equation. Since PPV is response value from the ground, direct evaluation of the structure is impractical. Because of such a limit, engineers tend to use the commercial numerical analysis program in evaluating the stability of the structure more accurately. However, when simulate the explosion process using existing numerical analysis program, it's never easy to accurately simulate the complex conditions (fracture, crushing, cracks and plastic deformation) around blasting hole. For simulating such a process, the range for modelling will be limited due to the maximum node count and it requires extended calculation time as well. Thus, this study is intended to simulate the elastic energy after fractured zone only, instead of simulating the complex conditions of the rock that results from the blast, and the analysis of response characteristics of the velocity depending on shape and size of the fractured zone was conducted. As a result, difference in velocity and attenuation character were calculated depending on fractured zone around the blast source appeared. Propagation of vibration tended to spread spherically as it is distanced farther from the blast source.
We discuss a modified numerical model based on the Monte Carlo radiative transfer (MCRT) method, i.e., the MCRT matrix method, for the analysis of atmospheric scattering effects in three-dimensional flash LIDAR systems. Based on the MCRT method, the radiative transfer function for a LIDAR signal is constructed in a form of a matrix, which corresponds to the characteristic response. Exploiting the superposition and convolution of the characteristic response matrices under the paraxial approximation, an extended computer simulation model of an overall flash LIDAR system is developed. The MCRT matrix method substantially reduces the number of tracking signals, which may grow excessively in the case of conventional Monte Carlo methods. Consequently, it can readily yield fast acquisition of the signal response under various scattering conditions and LIDAR-system configurations. Using the computational model based on the MCRT matrix method, we carry out numerical simulations of a three-dimensional flash LIDAR system operating under different atmospheric conditions, varying the scattering coefficient in terms of visible distance. We numerically analyze various phenomena caused by scattering effects in this system, such as degradation of the signal-to-noise ratio, glitches, and spatiotemporal spread and time delay of the LIDAR signals. The MCRT matrix method is expected to be very effective in analyzing a variety of LIDAR systems, including flash LIDAR systems for autonomous driving.
Since the observation of ground motions in South Korea, liquefaction manifestation was the first to be observed in Pohang earthquake in 2017 with $M_L$ 5.4. Because liquefaction causes ground settlement and lateral spread damaging in-ground or super structures, various researchers have been analyzing the Pohang liquefaction case history to better understand and predict liquefaction consequence and to prevent future disasters. In prior research at the 2018 EESK conference, a map of Liquefaction Potential Index (LPI), indicating the severity of liquefaction, in Pohang was created and compared with damage observations. The LPI correlated well with the observations, but the severity categorized by LPI range was significantly higher than the actual observations in most regions. The prior LPI map was created evaluating ground motions using the simplified approach. In this research, we perform the effective site response analyses with porewater pressure generation model for the detailed evaluation of liquefaction on the liquefied sites in Pohang. We found that the simplified approach for LPI evaluation can overestimate the severity.
The reverse detection heteronuclear multiple quantum coherence, HMQC study of metcyano complex of horse myoglobin(MbCN) has provided the complete assignment of hyperfine shifted resonances of heme carbons attached with proton(s). The application of HMQC experiment to the paramagnetic low-spin MbCN gives clear $^1H$ and $^{13}C$ coherences for the paramagnetic amino acid residues as well as heme side chains, and can be extended to the low-spin paramagnetic hemoprotein derivative for the assignment of natural abundance $^{13}C$ resonances. This assignment strategy can avoid possible ambiguities that may result from the sole utilization of $^1H$ nuclear Overhauser effect for the assignment of heme $^1H$ signals resonating in the diamagnetic region. The resulting 2,4-vinyl ${\alpha}$-carbons and 7-propionate ${\beta}$-carbon follow anomalous anti-Curie behavior, and are indicative of incoplanarity with heme plane. Magnetic/electronic asymmetry of heme induced by proximal histidine(His) makes spread that the hyperfine shifted heme carbon resonances over the range of 250 ppm at $25^{\circ}C$. These heme carbon resonances would be the much more sensitive probe than those of proton resonances in analyzing the nature of heme electronic structure of myoglobin.
In this paper spectral characteristics and spectral patterns of pine wilt disease at different development stage were analyzed in Geoje-do where the disease has already spread. Ground-based hyperspectral imaging containing hundreds of wavelength band is feasible with continuous screening and monitoring of disease symptoms during pathogenesis. The research is based on an hyperspectral imaging of trees from infection phase to witherer phase using a ground based hyperspectral camera within the area of pine wilt disease outbreaks in Geojedo for the analysis of pine wilt disease. Hyperspectral imaging through hundreds of wavelength band is feasible with a ground based hyperspectral camera. In this research, we carried out wavelength band change analysis on trees from infection phase to witherer phase using ground based hyperspectral camera and comparative analysis with major vegetation indices such as Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Red Edge Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (reNDVI), Photochemical Reflectance Index (PRI) and Anthocyanin Reflectance Index 2 (ARI2). As a result, NDVI and reNDVI were analyzed to be effective for infection tree detection. The 688 nm section, in which withered trees and healthy trees reflected the most distinctions, was applied to reNDVI to judge the applicability of the section. According to the analysis result, the vegetation index applied including 688 nm showed the biggest change range by infection progress.

Objective : To investigate the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings and the patterns of postoperative spinal infection according to the passage of time. Methods : Institutional review board approval was obtained, and informed consent was not obtained for the retrospective review of patients' medical records. A total of 43 patients (27 men and 16 women; mean age, 64) diagnosed with postoperative spinal infection were included in this study. We retrospectively reviewed the MRI findings and the medical records and categorized the infection sites based on MRI, i.e., anterior, posterior, and both parts. The duration of the clinical onset from surgery was divided, i.e., acute (${\leq}2weeks$), subacute (2-4 weeks), and late (>4 weeks). Results : Postoperative spinal infection was involved in the posterior part in 31 (72%), anterior part in two (4.7%), and both parts in 10 patients (23.3%). Abscess or phlegmon in the back muscles and laminectomy site were the most common MRI findings. The number of patients with acute, subacute, and late clinical onset were 35, two, and six, respectively (mean, 33.4 days; range, 1-730 days). The mean duration of the clinical onset was 12 days in the posterior part, 15.2 days in both parts, and 456.5 days in the anterior part. Conclusion : Postoperative spinal infection usually occurred within four weeks in the posterior part and over time the infection was considered to spread into the anterior part. For the evaluation of postoperative spinal infection, the posterior surgical field was more important than the vertebral body or the disc space on MRI.

The Rabbit grass(Trifolium Repens, call it 'Clover') is a representative harmful plant of lawn, and it starts growing earlier than lawn, forming a water pipe on top of the lawn and hindering the photosynthesis and growth of the lawn. As a result, in competition between lawn and clover, clover territory spreads, but lawn is damaged and dried up. Damage to the affected lawn area will accelerate during the rainy season as well as during the plant's rear stage, spreading the area where soil is exposed. Therefore, the restoration of damaged lawn is causing psychological stress and a lot of economic burden. The purpose of this study is to distinguish clover which is a representative harmful plant on lawn, to identify the distribution of damaged areas due to the spread of clover, and to review of changes in vegetation before and after the eradication of clover. For this purpose, a time series analysis of three vegetation indices calculated based on images of convergence Drone with RGB(Red Green Blue) and BG-NIR(Near Infra Red)sensors was reviewed to identify the separation between lawn and clover for selective eradication, and the distribution of damaged lawn for recovery plan. In particular, examined timeseries changes in the ecology of clover before and after the weed-whacking by manual and brush cutter. And also, the method of distinguishing lawn from clover was explored during the mid-year period of growth of the two plants. This study shows that the time series analysis of the MGRVI(Modified Green-Red Vegetation Index), NDVI(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), and MSAVI(Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index) indices of drone-based RGB and BG-NIR images according to the growth characteristics between lawn and clover can confirm the availability of change trends after lawn damage and clover eradication.

In this study, in order to analyze the spatial distribution of cold water occurred in the Southeast Sea of Korea, the K-means clustering method was used to analyze the ocean observatory buoy of Gori and Yangpo and GHTSST Level 4 from 2016 to 2018. The buoy data was used to identify the change in sea water temperature and the cold water occurrence at Gori and Yangpo in the Southeast Sea. As a result, the sea water temperature of Gori and Yangpo decreased equally at the cold water occurrence. Therefore, the reciprocal of the sea water temperature and the variance of SST were compared to see the changes of SST when the cold water occurs. When the reciprocal of the sea water temperature increases, the dispersion of SST also increases. Through this, it can be seen that there is a change in the water temperature distribution of SST in the sea when the cold water occurs. After that, K-means clustering was used to classify the cold water. After analyzing the optimal K value for clustering by using the Elbow method, it was possible to classify a region with cold water. Through this, it is estimated that the spatial distribution and diffusion range of the cold water, and it can be estimated and used in future studies to identify damage caused by the cold water and predict spatial spread.
This article deals with some issues with respect to the Mahan pottery excavated from the tombs. Pedestal jars with cover, small round-bottom jars, cylindrical pottery etc. had appeared in the interaction with the northern region in the dimension of the southern Korean peninsula. Especially, these relics had an important role at the route connecting the midwest region, Chungcheong(忠淸) inland and Yeongnam(嶺南) region. By this stage, the iron culture was similar to each other in the southern Korean peninsula. In addition to the inland route, the coastal passage along the west coast seems to have been used. Such signs are found in cylindrical pottery and Pedestal jars with cover. It was probably a natural phenomenon that the most powerful forces of Mahan appeared at this crossroad of cultural exchange. The unique style of Mahan pottery such as double-rim pottery had been established since the third century. After the third century, Mahan pottery varied by region depending on the tomb style. The difference roughly matches with the variations of the tomb style. But at the region of Bungumyo(mounded tomb), specific pottery such double-rim pottery had been prevalent than in other regions. And a specific style had been used in a narrow range. The pottery spread to the neighboring regions in the course of interaction and were also used in ritual practices.

The information space, the main components of which are information resources, means of information interaction, and information infrastructure, is a sphere of modern social life in which information communications play a leading role. The objective process is the gradual but stable entry of the national information space into the European and world information sphere, in the context of which there is a legitimate question of its protection as one of the components of the national security of Ukraine. However, the implementation of this issue in practice immediately faces the need to respect the rights and fundamental freedoms guaranteed by international regulations and the Constitution of Ukraine, especially in the field of cybersecurity. The peculiarity of the modern economy is related to its informational nature, which affects the sharp increase in cyber incidents in the field of information security, which is widespread and threatening and affects a wide range of private, corporate, and public interests. The problem of forming an effective information security system is exacerbated by the spread of cybercrime as a leading threat to information security both in Ukraine and around the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the state of cybersecurity and on this basis to identify new areas of the fight against cybercrime in Ukraine. Methods: the study is based on an extensive regulatory framework, which primarily consists of regulatory acts of Ukraine. The main methods were inductions and deductions, generalizations, statistical, comparative, and system-structural analysis, grouping, descriptive statistics, interstate comparisons, and graphical methods. Results. It is noted that a very important component of Ukraine's national security is the concept of "information terrorism", which includes cyberterrorism and media terrorism that will require its introduction into the law. An assessment of the state of cybersecurity in Ukraine is given. Based on the trend analysis, further growth of cybercrimes was predicted, and ABC analysis showed the existence of problems in the field of security of payment systems. Insufficient accounting of cybercrime and the absence in the current legislation of all relevant components of cybersecurity does not allow the definition of a holistic system of counteraction. Therefore, the proposed new legal norms in the field of information security take into account modern research in the field of promising areas of information technology development and the latest algorithms for creating media content.
