In this study, a new understanding is presented on the microcracking behavior of high strength concrete (HSC) with steel fiber addition having prior compressive loading history. Microcracking behavior at critical stress (σcr) region, using seven fiber addition volume of 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, and 2.0% was evaluated, at two aspect ratios (60 and 75). The specimens were loaded up to a specified compressive stress levels (0.70fc-0.96fc), and subsequently subjected to split tensile tests. This was followed by microscopic analyses afterwards. Four compressive stress levels as percentage of fc were selected according to the linearity end point based on stress-time (σ-t) diagram under uniaxial compression. It was seen that pre-compression has an effect on the linearity end point as well as fiber addition where it lies within 85-91% of fc. Tensile strength gain was observed in some cases with respect to the 'maiden' tensile strength as oppose to tensile strength loss due to the fiber addition with teething effect. Aggregate cracking was the dominant failure mode instead of bond cracks due to improved matrix quality. The presence of the steel fiber improved the extensive failure pattern of cracks where it changes from 'macrocracks' to a branched network of microcracks especially at higher fiber dosages. The applied pre-compression resulted in hardening effect, but the cracking process is similar to that in concrete without fiber addition.
This experiment was accomplished to study the effect affecting to the absorption of creosote solutions by treating temperatures 20, 50 and $80^{\circ}C$ when the small test pieces were treated as short timed immersion process. The test speciemens used in this experiment were cut into 180 pieces of $2.5{\times}2.5{\times}5cm$ size from the air dried sapwood of Righda Pine (Pinus rigida M.). They were controlled to about 8 to 9% moisture contents and measured specific gravities. Four creosote solutions of $S_1$(straight creosote), $S_2$(creosote 70% : heavy oil 30%), $S_3$(creosote 50% : heavy oil 50%) and $S_4$(creosote 30% : heavy oil 70%), and three treating temperatures of $T_1$($20^{\circ}C$), $T_2$($50^{\circ}C$) and $T_3$($80^{\circ}C$) were applied by factorial split plot design in the each treatment of 3, 7, 15, 30 and 60 minutes immersion. According to the results this study may be concluded briefly as follows : 1. In this immersion process the absorption effects of creosote mixtures by the increase of temperatures are recognized considerably in the each treating times. However in the straight creosote of treated solutions the effective differences were not shown but most effective differences were shown in the $S_2$ solution. 2. Although the solutional absorptions were raised considerably by temperature increase in every treating times the absorption effects of creosote mixtures were not reached to that of straight creosote because the effects are considerably lowered if the treating solutions were mixed with heavy oil even a small quantities. 3. The relations between the creosote contents of treating solutions and the absorptions in wood are shown as Fig. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. In these figures the absorption curves made by higher temperature treatment $T_3$ are on the lower treatments $T_1$ and $T_2$ if the solutions were mixed with heavy oil. 4. This report is a part of the consolidated results announced at the annual meetings of Korean Forestry Association in 1964 and 1965.

In this paper, we design an 8-bit eSuse OTP (one-time programmable) memory based on a $0.35{\mu}m$ BCD process using differential paired eFuse cells which can sense BL data without a reference voltage and also have smaller sensing resistances of programmed eFuse links. The channel widths of a program transistor of the differential eFuse OTP cell are splitted into $45{\mu}m$ and $120{\mu}m$. Also, we implement a sensing margin test circuit with variable pull-up loads in consideration of variations of the programmed eFuse resistances. It is confirmed by measurement results that the designed 8-bit eFuse OTP memory IP gives a better yield when the channel width is $120{\mu}m$.
The service that has recently come into the spotlight utilizes the map to first approach the map and then provide various mash-up formed results through the interface. This service can provide precise information to the users but the map is barely reusable. The sketch-map system of this paper, unlike the existing large map system, uses the method of presenting the specific spot and route in XML document and then clustering among sketch-maps. The map service system is designed to show the optimum route to the destination in a simple outline map. It is done by renovating the spot presented by the map into optimum contents. This service system, through the process of analyzing, splitting and clustering of the sketch-map's XML document input, creates a valid form of a sketch-map. It uses the LCS(Longest Common Subsequence) algorithm for splitting and merging sketch-map in the process of query. In addition, the simulation of this system's expected effects is provided. It shows how the maps that share information and knowledge assemble to form a large map and thus presents the system's ability and role as a new research portal.

Data mining is a process of discovering useful patterns for decision making from an amount of data. It has recently received much attention in a wide range of business and engineering fields. Classifying a group into subgroups is one of the most important subjects in data mining. Tree-based methods, known as decision trees, provide an efficient way to finding the classification model. The primary concern in tree learning is to minimize a node impurity, which is evaluated using a target variable in the data set. However, there are situations where multiple target variable should be taken into account, for example, such as manufacturing process monitoring, marketing science, and clinical and health analysis. The purpose of this article is to present some methods for measuring the node impurity, which are applicable to data sets with multivariate target variables. For illustration, a numerical cxample is given with discussion.
The problem of video scheduling is analyzed in the framework of divisible load scheduling. A divisible load can be divided into any number of fractions (parts) and can be processed/computed independently on the processors in a distributed computing system/network, as there are no precedence relationships. In the video scheduling, a frame can be split into any number of fractions (tiles) and can be processed independently on the processors in the network, and then the results are collected to recompose the single processed frame. The divisible load arrives at one of the processors in the network (root processor) and the results of the computation are collected and stored in the same processor. In this problem communication delay plays an important role. Communication delay is the time to send/distribute the load fractions to other processors in the network. and the time to collect the results of computation from other processors by the root processors. The objective in this scheduling problem is that of obtaining the load fractions assigned to each processor in the network such that the processing time of the entire load is a minimum. We derive closed-form expression for the processing time by taking Into consideration the communication delay in the load distribution process and the communication delay In the result collection process. Using this closed-form expression, we also obtain the optimal number of processors that are required to solve this scheduling problem. This scheduling problem is formulated as a linear pro-gramming problem and its solution using neural network is also presented. Numerical examples are presented for ease of understanding.

Objective: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the postoperative three-dimensional (3D) changes in the proximal segments after mandibular setback sagittal split ramus osteotomy and to compare the changes between the conventional mini-plate fixation and semi-rigid sliding plate fixation. Methods: Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images were used to evaluate the postoperative 3D changes in the proximal segments during the healing process. CBCT images were superimposed using the symphysis and the lower anterior mandible as references. Results: There were no statistically significant differences between the conventional mini-plate and semi-rigid sliding plate groups (p > 0.05). With respect to the distribution of changes greater than 2 mm in the landmarks, the right condylion, right coronoid process, and left condylion showed ratios of 55.6%, 50.0%, and 44.4%, respectively, in the semi-rigid sliding plate group; however, none of the landmarks showed ratios greater than 30% in the conventional mini-plate group. Conclusions: There were no statistically significant differences in postoperative changes in the segments between the conventional mini-plate and semi-rigid sliding plate groups. Nevertheless, while selecting the type of fixation technique, clinicians should consider that landmarks with greater than 2 mm changes were higher in the semi-rigid sliding plate group than in the conventional mini-plate group.
This study is based on the screen composition(shot size, split screen, candidate placement, lighting, stage) that fits the discussion process (round table, sitting, standing method) adopted from the 19th presidential candidates' TV joint discussion to analyze the adequacy and limitations of the methodology(design, candidate background, etc.). In addition, the progress and screen composition of the 45th US Presidential Candidates Debate in 2016 and the 25th Presidential Candidates of France TV Joint Debate in 2017 have been analyzed to compare and contrast the methods used in Korea. Through this, we apply the screening method to the 20th Presidential Candidate TV Joint Debate, which will be held in 2022, to fit the fixed discussion process that can fully identify candidates' qualities, policies, and vision.

This study develops an automation system for metallic mold design that is applicable in forging non-axial symmetric parts. The metallic mold design program is used to design the metallic mold using two-dimensional axial symmetric metallic molds and to predict the stress concentration using finite element analyses. Then, the program redesigns the metallic mold using variables such as the optimal split diameter, maximum allowable inner pressure, fit tolerance, and stress distribution, which are calculated using the metallic mold design program. When the involute spur gear is forged, stress concentration occurs on the tooth root bounded at the symmetric surface. The SCM4 material is suitable for metallic molds because the stress is less than the yield strength of the insert and it acts on the tooth root regardless of the inner pressure. The metallic mold for forging non-axial symmetric parts can be designed through adjusting the magnitude of the contact pressure. The program developed in this study can be applied to metallic mold designs in involute spur gears of forging, which is an ordinary non-axial symmetric part.

In this paper, a systematic beam splitter design for multi-beam forming is proposed. The objective of this research is to a design beam splitter that splits and focuses scattering microwaves into intense beams in multiple directions. It is difficult to split multi-beam to non-specific directions with theoretical approaches. Therefore, instead of using transformation optics(TO), which is a widely used process for controlling electromagnetic wave propagation, we used a systematic design process called the phase field design method to obtain an optimal topological structure of beam splitter. The objective function is to maximize the norm of electric field of the target areas of each direction. To avoid island structure and obtain the structure in one body, volume constraint is added to the optimization problem by using augmented Lagrangian. Target frequency is set to X-band 10GHz. The optimal beam splitter performed well in multi-beam forming and the transported electric energy of target areas improved. A frequency dependency test was conducted in the X-band to determine effective frequency range.
