Purpose: This study was to know the correlation among the dimensions of ocular components and refractive error on kindergarten children. Methods: The subjects were 80 preschool students who had no eye diseases. The refraction, corneal diopter, corneal radius, inter-pupillary distance, axial length, anterior chamber depth and dominant eye were measured and analysed. Results: It was shown that the highest correlation was between the axial length and the corneal diopter (r=-0.674, p=0.000). The ratio of height, weight and axial length (AL) to Corneal radius (CR) ratio were positively correlated with the axial length (r=0.351, r=0.408, r=0.488). The spherical equivalent of the refractive error and the corneal diopter were negatively correlated with the axial length (r=-0.302, r=-0.674). The anterior chamber depth and the corneal diopter were positively correlated with the AL/CR ratio (r=0.422, r=0.280). The spherical equivalent of the refractive error and the corneal radius were negatively correlated with the AL/CR ratio. Conclusions: It was shown that the AL/CR ratio was a very important indicator for diagnosing the refractive error of the preschoolers.
I presented three vector crustal magnetic anomaly components and six gradients by using spherical Slepian functions over the cap area of $20^{\circ}$ of radius centered on the South Pole. The Swarm mission, launched by European Space Agency(ESA) in November of 2013, was planned to put three satellites into the low-Earth orbits, two in parallel in East-West direction and one in cross-over of the higher altitude. This orbit configuration will make the gradient measurements possible in North-South direction, vertical direction, as well as E-W direction. The gravity satellites, such as GRACE and GOCE, have already implemented their gradient measurements for recovering the accurate gravity of the Earth and its temporal variation due to mass changes on the subsurface. However, the magnetic gradients have little been applied since Swarm launched. A localized magnetic modeling method is useful in taking an account for a region where data availability was limited or of interest was special. In particular, computation to get the localized solutions is much more efficient and it has an advantage of presenting high frequency anomaly features with numbers of solutions fewer than the global ones. Besides, these localized basis functions that were done by a linear transformation of the spherical harmonic functions, are orthogonal so that they can be used for power spectrum analysis by transforming the global spherical harmonic coefficients. I anticipate in scientific and technical progress in the localized modeling with the gradient measurements from Swarm and here will do discussion on the results of the localized solution to represent the three vector and six gradient anomalies over the Antarctic area from the synthetic data derived from a global solution of the spherical harmonics for the crustal magnetic anomalies of Swarm measurements.
To investigate the diffraction property of the Bessel beam for defocus which acts CFAP (Combined Filter of Amplitude and Phase), we calculated numerically the intensity, the radius of central spot, and the optical transfer function for the number of node of the Bessel beam when an optical system has an aberration-free or a spherical aberration. The Bessel beam has larger the maximum intensity and the OTF value for an optical system with a spherical aberration than that with an aberrationfree. Particularly, the OTF value at the point of maximum intensity for $W_{40}=3\lambda$is higher for the Bessel beam than for the Clear aperture. From these results, we know that the Bessel beam has the compensating effect. The Bessel beam also has the radius of central spot having a superresolution. We will useful for the fabrication of semiconductor device and the optical recording system using these effects.ffects.
Typical underwater piezoelectric spherical sensors are omni-directional, thus can measure the scalar quantity sound-pressure-magnitude only with the limitation not being able to measure the direction of the incoming wave. This paper proposes a method to simultaneously measure both the magnitude and direction of the sound wave with the spherical sensor. The method divides the piezoceramic sphere of the sensor into eight elements, and distinguishes the magnitude and direction of the sound pressure by combining the output voltage of the elements in a particular manner. Further, through the analysis of the sensitivity variation in relation to the structural parameters like radius and thickness of the piezoceramic sphere, we have suggested the way to improve the sensitivity of the vector sensor.

A non-steady group combustion model of a spherical droplets cloud has been developed to access the non-steady effects of collective behavior of fuel droplets on combustion characteristics and cloud structure. A system of conservation equations of droplets cloud in axisymmetric spherical coordinate was solved by numerical methods for n-Butylbenzene(C$_{10}$ / $H_{14}$) It was found that the effect of initial droplet size on combustion characteristics is dominated compare with effects of cloud size and number density of droplets. For dense droplets cloud, external group combustion mode is established during main part of cloud life time, and internal and single droplet combustion modes are simultaneously established for the dilute droplets cloud. Radius of cloud and external envelope flame are slowly decreased during main part of cloud life time, and suddenly decreased at end of combustion period.d.

In order to study the relationship between static and cynamic behaviors of silion caride, both quasi-static indentaiton and impact experiments of spherical particle have been conducted. The difference inmaterial behavior when using the two mehtods suggests a loading rate difference in the damate pattrern and fracture strength of silicon carbide. This investigation showed some difference in damage pattern according to particla property, especially inthe case of particle impact. There was no differences in deformation behaviors according to the loading rate when the crater profiles were compared with each other at the same contact radius. From the result of residual strength evaluation, it was found that the strength degradation began at the initiation of ring crack and its behavior was colsely related to morphologies of the damage developed which was also dependent upon the extent of deformation atthe loaidng point. In the case of static indentation, there didnot exist the particle property effects onthe strength degradation behavior.
The data, methodology, and the resulting accurate gravimetric geoid model for the Korean Peninsula (latitude from 32˚ N to 40˚ N and longitude from 124˚ E to 131˚ E) are presented in this study. The types of used data were a high degree geopotential model (the EGM96 spherical harmonic coefficient set), a set of 12,615 land gravity observations, 1,056,075 shipborne gravity observations, and KMS2002 gravity anomalies from satellite altimetry. The remove-restore technique was successfully applied to combining the above mentioned data sets using up to degree and order 112 of the EGM96 coefficient. The residual geoid was calculated with residual Free-Air anomaly values using the spherical Stokes' formula with a 37-km integration cap radius. The geoid model was referred to WGS84 geodetic system and was tested using a set of GPS/levelling geoid undulations. The absolute accuracy is 0.132 m and some improvement compared to the PNU95 geoid model was found.

The paper investigates the process of pulsation of a spherical cavity (bubble) in a liquid under the influence of a source of ultrasonic vibrations. The process of pulsation of a cavitation pocket in liquid is investigated. The Kirkwood-Bethe model was used to describe the motion. A numerical solution algorithm based on the Runge-Kutta-Felberg method of 4-5th order with adaptive selection of the integration step has been developed and implemented. It was revealed that if the initial bubble radius exceeds a certain value, then the bubble will perform several pulsations until the moment of collapse. The same applies to the case of exceeding the amplitude of ultrasonic vibrations of a certain value. The proposed algorithm makes it possible to fully describe the process of cavitation pulsations, to carry out comprehensive parametric studies and to evaluate the influence of various process parameters on the intensity of cavitation.
Purpose: Analysis performance for spectacle lens which sales in domestic market and optimization design a spectacle lens which is corrected aberration. Methods: Measured center thickness, radius and aspherical surface coefficient for spherical and aspherical lenses which were ${\pm}$5.00D. Refractive index for every lens was 1.6 and they came from 4 different companies. I used 3 types of equipment to measure lenses. ID-F150 (Mitutoyo) : Center Thickness, FOCOVISION (SR-2, Automation Robotics) : Radius, PGI 1240S (Taylor Hobson) : Aspherical surface coefficient. Designed a lens which had 27 mm of distance from lens rear surface to center of eye, 4 mm of pupil diameter and small aberration on center vision $30^{\circ}C$. To shorten axial distance compared with the measured lens rise merits for cosmetic. Lens Design tool was CODE V (Optical Research Associates). Results: -5.00D aspherical lens had somewhat high astigmatism and distortion compared with the spherical lens. But it had a merit for cosmetic because of short axial height and decrease edge thickness. Improved a performance of distortion and ascertain merits for cosmetic due to short axial height and decrease edge thickness same as (-) lens in case of +5.00 aspherical lens. Though an optimization process front surface aspherical lens had a good performance for astigmatism and distortion and the merit for beauty compared with measured spherical lens. Conclusions: Design trend for domestic aspherical lens is decrease axial height and thickness to increase a merit for cosmetic not but increase performance of aberration. From design theory for optimization design front surface aspherical spectacle lens which has improved performance of aberration and merit for cosmetic at the same time compared with the measured lens. Expect an improved performance from design back aspherical lens compared with front aspherical lens.
Usual experimental adsorption isotherms as a function of relative humidity were constructed from adsorbed water contents in soils, which were kept more than 2 days in vacuum desiccators with constant humidities controlled by sulfuric acids of various concentrations. From the experimental data, the adsorption surface areas were calculated on the basis of the existing adsorption theory, such as Langmuir, BET, and Aranovich. Based on the Gibbs function describing chemical potential of perfect gas, the relative humidities in the desiccators were transformed into their chemical potentials, which were assumed to be the same as the potentials of equilibratedly adsorbed water in soils. Moreover, the water potentials were again transformed into the equivalent capillary pressures, heads of capillary rise, and equivalent radius of capillary pores, on the basis of Laplace equation for surface tension pressure of spherical bubbles in water. Adsorption quantity distributions were calculated on the profile of chemical potentials of the adsorbed water, equivalent adsorption and/or capillary pressures, and equivalent capillary radius. The suggested theories were proved through its application for the prediction of temperature rise of sulfuric acid due to hydration heat. Adsorption heat calculated on the basis of the potential difference was dependant on various factors, such as surface area, equilibrium constants in Langumuir, BET, etc.
