The aim of this paper is to establish two general finite integral formulas involving the product of Galué type Struve functions and Srivastava's polynomials. The results are given in terms of generalized (Wright's) hypergeometric functions. These results are obtained with the help of finite integrals due to Oberhettinger and Lavoie-Trottier. Some interesting special cases of the main results are also considered. The results presented here are of general character and easily reducible to new and known integral formulae.

Using content analysis this study examined Korean people's traditional view on children with disabilities, hoping to contribute to the selection of appropriate picture books for an understanding of disabilities in kindergartens and child care centers. Story book characters with disabilities mainly interacted with their families and village people, had lower positions, did not accomplish their work on their own, and suffered from others' anger and beating. Differences in types of disabilities were that physical disabilities were viewed positively, while mental disabilities were viewed negatively. The former had wider scope of activities and maintained more positive relationships with other characters than the latter; furthermore, the former had higher position than the latter and had cooperative interactions with people without disabilities.

A data hiding scheme in HTML files is presented in this paper. Web pages are a very popular medium for broadcasting information and knowledge nowadays, and web pages are a good way to achieve the goal of secret message delivery because the different HTML coding codes will render the same screen in any of the popular browsers. The proposed method utilizes the HTML special space codes and sentence segmentation to conceal secret messages into a HTML file. The experimental results show that the stego HTML file generated by the proposed method is imperceptible. Also, the proposed method can conceal one more secret bit in every between-word location.

This paper presents a geological remote sensing information extraction system, the aim of which is to provide practical models and powerful tools to extract geological information from remote sensing images for geological exploration applications. After reviewing and analyzing the existing methods for geological information extraction, we developed more than ten models to enhance and extract geological information, such as alteration information, linear features and special lithological characters. The system is developed based on Erdas Imagine using its programming language. It has been successfully used in the 'reat Investigation of Land and Natural Resources of China' program.

In shipbuilding process, automated marking systems are used to print steel part information on the steel plate. Especially, an automated marking system with a moving ink-head prints characters on each block, which divide the steel plate into a fixed size. Therefore it is necessary to split characters, because some characters can be extended into several blocks. Particularly the algorithm, which splits characters, must guarantee its printing quality in any direction since characters can be printed by any angle.

Three strains which accumulated large quantities of L-hlutamic acid as the chief product of metabolism in the presence of glucose and inorhanic ammonium salt under the aerobic condition sere newly isolated. These strains have the general characters as follows: Gram-positive, short fod-shaped, non-sporulating, non-motile, and facultative anaerobe. A change of cell shates was not almost observed in their life cycles and neither a phenomenon of cell-elongation nor a pleomorphism was recognized in any cases. Together with rigid stability in Gram-stain, these characters as above indicated evidences that newly isolates would belong to genus Brevibacterium clearly differentiated from genus Corynebacterium. At the same time the newly isolates, in addition to nutritional requirement of biotin and thiamine, showed the distinctive character of requirement of special amino acid such as histidine or cysteine for their considerable growth. These physiological characters including nitrates reduction, reaction on milk, and slow formation of acid from sugar also were useful in confirming that these bacteria would be Brevibacterium ammoniagenes.

The flora of Mt. Kum.lung(80 lm) was Investigated to compare the flora of Mt. Hwang-Ryung, Mt. Cheon-Hwang, Mt. Chulseo. The vascular plants, collected from March 1995 to Oct., 1996, were consisted of a total 564 taxa: 103 families, 312 genera, 493 species, 1 subspecies. 66 varieties and 4 forms. The Korean endemic plants of this area were 11 taxa, the alplan and endangered plants were 29 taxa, the special wild plants designatlrlg by Enoronmental Agency were 2 taxa and the alpian plants were 18 taxa. Because many plants, being necessary to conserve, are distributed Kumjung, but if development is indespensable. destruction of natural ecosystem must be minimized.
