지역 간 상호연계에 기반 한 농촌과 도시 간 생활권의 차이 - 부산.울산 광역도시권을 중심으로 - (Disparity between Rural and Urban Living Area Based on Regional Interaction - Focused on Busan-Ulsan mega city -)

  • Daily living area can be delimited differently depending on what area is to be focused. Based on regional interaction, the present study empirically analyzed the difference between living areas focusing on rural area and ones relying on urban area. We established two types of living areas in Busan-Ulsan mega city with different focus areas (rural versus urban), using travel OD data (2006). According to the result, the fonn of spatial clusters in urban living area differed from that of spatial clusters in rural area; the boundaries of living area were not fit to those of administrative areas in both types; and living areas in both types tended to extend over more than two administrative areas. The results cast some implications concerning spatial planning and policy for living area delimitation. First, since the spatial structure and interconnection of urban area differs to those of rural area, it is required to delimit living areas discriminatively depending on the objectives of the spatial plan. Additionally, the living area should be established more specifically and systematically by further subdividing the form of spaces depending on the objectives and types of the plan. Second, the administrative areas should be consolidated now that the difference of boundaries of administrative and living areas lead to inconvenience of residents, increased administration costs and scale diseconomy. Lastly, the living areas should be delimited by the metropolitan or mega city planning and thus be reflected to its offsprings.

영일만 유입오염부하량과 수질의 시${\cdot}$공간적 변동특성(II) - 유입오염부하량과 수질의 상호거동 - (Spatial and Temporal Variation Characteristics between Water Quality and Pollutant Loads of Yeong-il Bay (II) - Mutual Variation between Inflowing Pollutant Loads and Water Quality -)

  • This study investigates the distribution characteristics and relationship of water quality, and analyzes the spatial and temporal variation and distribution of the pollutant loads at Yeong-il Bay. The results of these analysis, the concentrations of nutrient loads (T-N and T-P), both appeared to be at the maximum value in November, while most small values were taken in May for the T-N, and in August for the T-P. For COD, the maximum concentration was in August, which has much precipitation during the same season, T-N was at the mean, and T-P was at the minimum value. Using the cluster analysis to develop the division of the sea basin by the dendrogram, before and after construction of Pohang New-port, the variation characteristics of water quality of Yeong-il Bay were discussed. The in flowing pollutant loads were transported to the landward by the high-density salinity water volume of the bottom layer therefore, it formed nutrient trap or coastal trapping areas of the pollutant load. By this mechanism, it is clear that the water volume with high-density nutrient exists on both sides of the Pohang New-port. Thus, the sea basins increasing concentration of the pollutant load at Yeong-il Bay are most prevalent at Hyeong-san estuary, the Pohang Old, and New-port. To improve water quality of this sea basin, the reduction of these nutrients loads should be the highest priority.

주거지내 상업화 발생영역에서 군집형성현상과 영향요인 연구 - 가로수길을 대상으로 - (Commercial Cluster Characteristics in Residential District Focusing on Garosu Street)

  • 본 연구는 주거지 내 상업화가 활발하게 일어나고 있는 가로수길을 대상으로 제인제이콥스의 활성화 가로 요인을 적용하여 활성화 요인들의 공간적 상관관계를 분석하였으며, 동질성을 갖는 특성들끼리 군집을 이루고 있는 유형을 분류하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 연구의 시사점을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 가로수길은 의류 및 잡화 등 패션가로의 주된 장소성 기능이 집중되어 특색있는 가로를 형성하고 있었고, 주변 식음용도의 상점들이 그 기능을 받쳐주는 요인이 되고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 건축면적 외 공지의 활용여부를 보면, 메인가로는 쇼윈도 진열 및 상품의 적재가 이루어지고 내부의 음식점 및 카페는 테라스형 좌석 조성, 그리고 간선도로변은 보행공간으로서 이용되고 있는 것으로 나타났는데, 간선가로와 메인가로는 물판 위주 및 통과공간으로서의 기능이 강화되고 휴식을 취하거나 체류할 수 있는 공간은 내부 블록에서 형성된다는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 가로수길 내에서 건축물의 신축과 공실이 이어지는 소모적인 현상은 도심공동화와 가로가 가지는 자체의 정체성을 상실하는 주거환경의 부정적인 효과로 이어질 수 있어서 주거민과 상인이 협력하여 발전시킬 수 있는 노력이 필요할 것이다.

Endogenous Development Strategy of Technopolis in Korea: Case of Daedeok INNOPOLIS

  • The development of Technopolis and the establishment of innovative ecosystem have made an important contribution in South Korea's latest industrial development and economic growth. Particularly, Daedeok INNOPOLIS which is responsible for the central role in the national science technology advancement was founded as the Science Town in the 1970s. Since then, it has undergone three-phases of development: Science Park, Technopolis and Innovation cluster. As the result of the transition, Daedeok INNOPOLIS currently serve as the leading role for achieving sustainable economic growth, employment promotion, national and regional innovation. In order to accelerate the progress for success, Daedeok INNOPOLIS have arranged an opportunity for 21st century new industry development, improved growth of technology-intensive SMEs, reinforced academic-industrial cooperation, and established innovative ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS is considered as an outstanding case of endogenous development strategy of Technopolis. This study attempts to consider the endogenous development strategy of Technopolis in Korea through the analysis of development characteristics of Daedeok INNOPOLIS in two different perspectives: changes of spatial structure and establishment of innovation ecosystem. Daedeok INNOPOLIS have experienced a series of endogenous growth that is consisted of advancement strategy and structural changes, which allowed Daedeok research town to grow into an innovative cluster. A sign of growth of Daedeok INNOPOLIS became apparent when its strategy to reinforce the academic-industry cooperation system by promoting participation from universities helped to overcome a functional limitation as a research institute integrated for the establishment of innovative ecosystem. Since then, the center for creative economy and innovation established in cooperation with large enterprise, has a role to build a startup ecosystem and to promote next level of development such as proactive fostering of venture companies for sustainable technopolis development.

공간분석기법을 이용한 경쟁병원이 병원내원 환자 수에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Effects of Rival Hospitals on the Number of Patients in a Tertiary Hospital)

  • This study purposed to evaluate the influences of rival hospitals on the number of patients who visited the a study territory hospital. Spatial analysis technique was used to measure the impact of rival hospitals in study region. Selected hospitals were all medical school affiliated hospitals which were located in Daejeon metropolitan city and Chungchungnamdo. Patient data was collected from the claims data of the study hospital, and the number of inpatient and outpatients who visited the study hospital between January and June in 2008 were calculated on the smallest administrative district, Eup, Myeon, and Dong, in study region. To control the differences of regional characteristics among Eup, Myeon, Dong, socio-economic variables (total population, number of people aged over 65, number of basic livelihood security recipients, distance from the study hospital to the centroid point of each Eup, Myeon, Dong, number of business, and number of employees) were included in analysis model. These variables were collected from the annual year book of city as well as county located in study region. Cluster analysis classified the study region into three groups by using the difference of between th actual number of inpatient/outpatient and the predicted number of inpatient/outpatient in Eup, Myeon, and Dong. Most areas around the rivalry hospitals were categorized into same group. Multiple regression analysis indicated that areas around rivalry hospitals had statistically significantly negative relationship with the number of inpatients and outpatients who visited the study hospital. As the buffer size was increased from 5Km to 10Km, the standardized regression coefficients were decreased. These study results confirmed that rivalry hospitals in region had negative impacts on the performance of hospitals. It suggests that hospitals will require not only to select their location to minimize the effects of rivalry hospitals, but also to establish their strategy to cope with the rivalry's threats in their region.

감성 평가척도에 의한 공간 환경의 실증분석에 관한 연구 - 경기도미술관과 서울시립미술관의 로비 공간환경에 대한 비교연구를 중심으로 - (An Empirical Study on Museums' Spatial Environments using a Sensibility Rating Scale - By comparing spatial environments of the lobbies of the Gyeonggido Museum of modern Art and the Seoul Museum of Art -)

  • The purposes of this study are to present the criteria for a sensibility rating scale for measuring the general public's perception of museums' spatial environment, particularly lobby space, through an empirical analysis; and to clarify the characteristics of the presented rating scale in terms of each rating element and factor. For this study, a survey was conducted during September 11-17, 2010, and a total of 370 museum visitors participated in the survey. A sensibility rating scale used for the survey consisted of a total of 32 adjectives selected from a literature review of previous studies. To specify the dimensions of semantic space using the semantic adjectives, words with opposite meanings were analyzed with the semantic differential technique developed by Osgood et al. Using SPSS, a reliability analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis were conducted on the data obtained from the survey. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: According to the general public's perception of museum lobbies, five factors were found from the 19 semantic ratings of the Gyeonggido Museum of Modern Art and the 20 semantic ratings of the Seoul Museum of Art, respectively. In the case of Gyeonggido Museum of Modern Art, three additional semantic words of 'orderly', 'open', and 'original', which did not appear in the case of Seoul Museum of Art, were discovered. In the case of Seoul Museum of Art, more detailed semantic words such as 'restrained', 'ordinary', 'concrete', and 'intellectual (rational)' were obtained. Five semantic elements, which describe the two museums, were: Feelings of 'pleasantness', 'value, 'usage', 'aesthetics', and 'materials'. According to a comparative analysis of the two lobby spaces in terms of semantic rating elements, Gyeonggido Museum of Modern Art was perceived to be an orderly, original, open, soft, and female-like space, whereas Seoul Museum of Art was perceived to be aesthetic, restrained, concrete, realistic, intellectual and rational. In the coming years, the results of this study will serve as valuable data for constructing a sensibility rating scale for evaluating spatial environments of museums.

폐광산지역 토양 중금속원소들에 대한 통계학적 환경오염 특성평가 (Statistical Assessment on the Heavy Metal Variation in the Soils around Abandoned Mine(Case Study for the Samgwang Mine))

  • Heavy metal concentrations in the soil were investigated for the abandoned Samkwang metal mine, Cheongyang-Gun, Chungnam Province, Korea. The concentrations of heavy metal(As, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) were determined in mine soils collected at the abandoned mine sites to obtain a general classification and specification of the pollution in this highly polluted region. The results estimated with the normal test and basis statistic on the central tendency and variation showed that the distribution of heavy metal concentration had significantly different at the range of all locations. The range of spatial distribution on the relationship of heavy metal concentration and pH was $4.8{\sim}8.8$ and heavy metal concentration on the type of land use was highest in forest land, and also Ni and Zn in farm and rice field showed the high concentration. The distribution of heavy metal concentration on the depth of a soil showed that the metal concentrations in subsoil were higher than of those in surface soil, while the concentration of Cu and Ni had no significant difference on the depth of soil. Results from the correlation analysis using the data except the extreme and unusual data revel that Zn-Cd(r=0.867), Zn-As(r=0.797), Zn-Pb(r=0.764), Cu-Cd(r=0.673), Cu-As(r=0.614) and Zn-Ni(r=0.605) were the most important parameters in assessing variations of heavy metal in soil. To discriminate pattern differences and similarities among samples, principal factor analysis(PFA) and cluster analysis(CF) were performed using a correlation matrix. This study suggests that PFA and CF techniques are useful tools for identification of important heavy metal and parameters. This study presents the necessity and usefulness of multivariate statistical assessment of complex databases in order to get better information about the quality of soil and gives the basis information to clean up the abandoned mine sites.

한국 인구고령화의 지역적 특성 분석 (The Analysis of Regional Characteristics of the Aging Population in Korea)

  • 본 논문은 2010년을 기준으로 우리나라 고령화 현상의 지역적 특성을 밝히고 고령화에 대한 등질지역 구분을 시도한 것이다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 고령화지수를 통해 경북의 내륙 산악지대와 전남의 해안 농어촌 지역은 높은 고령화 수준을 나타내었으며, 수도권과 지방대도시에서 상대적으로 낮은 고령화 수준을 나타내었다. 고령화지수는 인구증가율, 유소년 인구비율, 아파트 비율, 신축건물 비율에 대해 낮은 부적 상관관계를 보이며, 단독주택 비율, 고령자 자가 비율, 기초생활수급자 비율, 노후주택 비율, 보건기관수 등과 높은 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 인자분석 결과 고령화 인자, 복지수준 인자, 제조업 및 경제활력도 인자, 신흥도시 인자의 4개 인자를 도출하였다. 반고령화적인 환경, 노인복지수준, 경제활력수준, 신흥도시적 특성이 강할수록 지역의 고령화 수준은 낮았다. 셋째, 군집분석 결과 농어촌 산간해안 유형, 비수도권 농어촌 유형, 대도시 유형, 대도시 인근 산업 지방중심도시의 4개 유형이 확인되었다.

정준상관분석을 이용한 원격탐사 수치화상 분류기법의 개발 : 무감독분류기법과 정준상관분석의 통합 알고리즘 (Development of Classification Method for the Remote Sensing Digital Image Using Canonical Correlation Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 원격탐사의 수치화상분류에 적용된 바 없는 정준상관분석(Canonical Correlation Analysis)기법을 무감독분류한 위성화상데이터에 적용하여 토지피복분류하는 새로운 방법을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 개발된 분류기법은 기존의 분류기법인 최대우도분류기법에 비해 분류기준용 표본데이터 선정이 용이함을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 정준상관분석에 의한 분류결과는 분류기준용 표본데이터의 선정위치에 거의 영향을 받지 않는다. 또한 무감독분류 후 정준상관분석에 의해 결정된 각 군집의 토지피복은 최대우도분류를 위한 사전정보로 활용정보로 활용가능하다. 동일한 분류기준용 표본데이터 사용시, 무감독분류 후 정준상관분석에 의한 분류가 최대우도분류보다 분류정확도가 우수하였다. 이상과 같은 결과로 판단해 볼 때 연구에서는 시도된 분류기법은 원격탐사의 분류기법 분야에서 실용화 될 수 있으며, 나아가서는 GIS 데이터베이스 구축에 중요한 역학을 할 수 있을 것이다.

지구통계 기법을 활용한 울진 지역 천부 지하수의 수질 및 수리지구화학 특성 해석 (Geostatistical Interpretation of Water Quality and Hydrogeochemistry of shallow Groundwater in the Uljin Area, Korea)

  • 동해안 울진 지역 천부 지하수의 수리지구화학 자료에 대하여 지구통계 분석(이원배치 분산 분석, 군집 분석, 요인 분석)을 수행함으로써, 수질 자료와 오염 특성의 시간적.공간적 변화 양상을 규명하고 대수층에서 일어나는 주요 반응을 고찰하였다. 이원배치 분산 분석 결과, 광역적 수질 특성은 8개 수계분지를 따라 유의한 공간적 변화를 보여주지 않았으나, Ca, HCO$_3$,SO$_4$등 일부 이온종은 수계분지별로 의미 있는 변화를 나타내었다. 시료 채취시기에 따른 계절 변화는 SO$_4$를 제외하고는 인지되지 않았다. 그러나 군집 분석 결과, 수리지구화학 특성의 변화는 해안으로부터의 거리에 따라 아주 잘 설명될 수 있음을 지시하였다. 요인 분석 결과, 연구 지역 천부 지하수의 수리지구화학 특성은 다양한 요인에 의해 지배됨을 확인하였다. 중요 순서로 그 요인을 나열하면, 1) 물-암석 반응(주로 탄산염 광물의 용해), 2) 바다에서 기원한 해염의 혼입, 3) 비료와 각종 농화학 약품에 의한 오염으로 밝혀졌다.
