  • 3D reconstruction of a human face from an image sequence remains an important problem in computer vision. We propose a method, based on a factorization algorithm, that reconstructs a 3D face model from short image sequences exhibiting rotational motion. Factorization algorithms can recover structure and motion simultaneously from one image sequence, but they usually require that all feature points be well tracked. Under rotational motion, however, feature tracking often fails due to occlusion and frame out of features. Additionally, the paucity of images may make feature tracking more difficult or decrease reconstruction accuracy. The proposed 3D reconstruction approach can handle short image sequences exhibiting rotational motion wherein feature points are likely to be missing. We implement the proposal as a reconstruction method; it employs image sequence division and a feature tracking method that uses Active Appearance Models to avoid the failure of feature tracking. Experiments conducted on an image sequence of a human face demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

On the Fibonacci Almost Convergent Sequence Space and Fibonacci Core

  • In the present paper, by using the Fibonacci difference matrix, we introduce the almost convergent sequence space $\hat{c}^f$. Also, we show that the spaces $\hat{c}^f$and $\hat{c}$ are linearly isomorphic. Further, we determine the ${\beta}$-dual of the space $\hat{c}^f$ and characterize some matrix classses on this space. Finally, Fibonacci core of a complex-valued sequence has been introduced, and we prove some inclusion theorems related to this new type of core.

HLS 색상 공간에서 동영상의 안개제거 기법 (Video Haze Removal Method in HLS Color Space)

  • This paper proposes a new haze removal method for moving image sequence. Since the conventional dark channel prior haze removal method adjusts each color component separately in RGB color space, there can be severe color distortion in the haze removed output image. In order to resolve this problem, this paper proposes a new haze removal scheme that adjusts luminance and saturation components in HLS color space while retaining hue component. Also the conventional dark channel prior haze removal method is developed to obtain best haze removal performance for a single image. Therefore, if it is applied to a moving image sequence, the estimated parameter values change rapidly and the haze removed output image sequence shows unnatural glitter defects. To overcome this problem, a new parameter estimation method using Kalman filter is proposed for moving image sequence. Experimental results demonstrate that the haze removal performance of the proposed method is better than that of the conventional dark channel prior method.

  • Recently S. Axler proved that every sequence in the unit disk U converging to the boundary contains an interpolating subsequence for the multipliers of the Dirichlet space D(U). In this paper we generalizes Axler's result to the finitely connected planer domains such that the Dirichlet spaces are contained in the Bergman spaces.

  • Conventional variable-speed Induction motor drives with inverters are subject to detrimental effect of zero-sequence voltages, such a shaft voltage and bearing current. This paper presents a way of the suppression of the zero-sequence components in multilevel H-bridge inverters. First examined Is the inherent zero-sequence characteristic of the conventional subharmonic PW method. Then it is shown that the zero-sequence voltage can be eliminated with proper -selection of switching states with space vector modulation. Although this method alone restricts the linear modulation range of control, a combination of the proposed method and the minimum switching method appears to be effective in suppressing the zero-sequence voltage to minimum level while maintaining the linear control range.

  • Street is an important factor that street quality determines urban quality as the space of the high public nature in city. The research method considering sequence landscape is important because it is considered that the impression of such a street is formed by the wholeness of consecutive landscape and experience in moving street. Therefore, this study are pursued to structure the analysis of psychological evaluation and environmental attribute base on the physical characteristics of sequence landscape to supply the basic materials for seeking the national direction as qualitative improvement of urban street space and the attractive urban street space. Then the results are as follows. It is shown that the psychological evaluation structure of sequence landscape is evaluated by ornamental nature, intimacy, orderliness, openness and movability and that of environmental attributes is evaluated by four factors such as activity, intimacy, spatial attribute and openness.

  • In this paper, we propose a new text watermarking method using space coding and PN sequence. A PN sequence generated from user message modifies the space between words in each line. The detection can be done without original text image using the average space with in the text. Experimental results show that proposed method has the invisible property and robustness to the attack such as the elimination of words in the text.

  • In this paper we introduce some new types of double difference sequence spaces defined by a new definition of convergence of double sequences and a double series with the help of sequence of Orlicz functions and a four dimensional bounded regular matrices A = (artkl). We also make an effort to study some topological properties and inclusion relations between these sequence spaces. Finally, we compute the closed ideals in the space 𝑙2.
