Most studies using state-space models have been conducted under the assumption of independently distributed noises in measurement and state equation without adequate verification of the assumption. To avoid the improper use of state-space model, testing the assumption prior to the parameter estimation of state-space model is very important. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the general relationship between parameters of state-space models and those of ARIMA processes. Under the assumption, we derive restricted parameter spaces of ARIMA(p,0,p-1) models with mutually different AR roots where $p\;{\le}\;5$. In addition, the results of ARIMA(p,0,p-1) case can be expanded to more general ARIMA models, such as ARIMA(p-1,0,p-1), ARIMA(p-1,1,p-1), ARIMA(p,0,p-2) and ARIMA(p-1,1,p-2).

The concepts of the numerical range of an operator on a Hillbert space and on a Banach space were introduced by Toeplitz in 1918 and Bauer in 1962 respectively. Bauer's paper was concerned only with finite dimensional Banach spaces, but the concept of numerical range that he introduced is available without restriction of the dimension [1, 2]. In this paper, we define a C-algebra spatial numerical range of an operator on C-algebra valued inner product modules introduced by Paschke [4], and give analogous results on these modules as those on Banach spaces.

In this study, the optimum criteria of space between the lines and the letters which could largely affect the legibility were found by the experiment and were presented as guidelines to design Korean VDT screens. Since the experiment was designed to test the human performance based on the VDT screen design, searching speed (S.S) and error rate (E) were used as the criteria of performance, and CFF value was measured to evaluate user's visual fatigue. The EOG value was also measured for the visual restriction during the experiment for the space between the lines and letters.

Let X and Y be n-dimensional Euclidean spaces with $n\;{\geq}\;3$. In this paper, we generalize a classical theorem of Bookman and Quarles by proving that if a mapping, from a half space of X into Y, preserves a distance $\rho$, then the restriction of f to a subset of the half space is an isometry.

The most work-space invest much time and labor for optimal arrangement. The work-plates of the work-space should be arranged, processed and assembled under the restricted work space. The optimal arrangement under the terms of a restriction arrange the maximum work-plates in appointed work-space. It's the central aim. The work-plates arrangement scheduling of the most work-space are achieved through the experience of the planner. Like this, if the work-plates arrangement is worked by hand, there spend much time for the training planner. And the burden of the personnel expenses occur for using the master worker, also there are dangerous factors to be able to bring the bottleneck circumstance for the process planning, because the quick work planning does not accomplish. With such problems, the biggest problem is inferior the value of the plan. For solved the such problem of hand-operating, some work-spaces developed and used the work-plate arrangement scheduling system for the special quality of themselves. This paper make research into a plan to develop the work-plate arrangement scheduling system efficiently.

Many public libraries have restricted or forbidden most food and drink on the basis of a number of reasons, and it is necessary to demonstrate that it is legitimate or unfair. To this purpose, the researchers surveyed 485 public library users residing in Daegu City on the perception of food and drink policy. Based on survey results, the researcher suggested improvement directions from various perspectives. First, public library should proactive review the restriction policy in terms of social paradigm. Second, allowing food and drink is a strategy and a right way to justify the existing value and social role of public libraries and strengthen the ecosystem in terms of guaranteeing basic rights of users. Third, it is desirable to emphasize the pure function rather than the dysfunction due to food and drink allowance in terms of facilitating the collection and space use. Fourth, the totalitarian thinking that restrict all or most food and drink in the bylaws or library regulations should be avoided. Finally, public library should allow all food and drink, but it is necessary to prescribe a kind of the food which can be consumed by space, and actively promote to the user.

We generalize a theorem of W. Benz by proving the following result: Let $H_{\theta}$ be a half space of a real Hilbert space with dimension $\geq$ 3 and let Y be a real normed space which is strictly convex. If a distance $\rho$ > 0 is contractive and another distance N$\rho$ (N $\geq$ 2) is extensive by a mapping f : $H_{\theta}$ \longrightarrow Y, then the restriction f│$_{\theta}$ $H_{+}$$\rho$/2// is an isometry, where $H_{\theta}$＋$\rho$/2/ is also a half space which is a proper subset of $H_{\theta}$. Applying the above result, we also generalize a classical theorem of Beckman and Quarles.

We prove that a Banach space that is convex-transitive and such that for some element u in the unit sphere, and for every subspace Μ containing u, it happens that the subset of norm attaining functionals on Μ is second Baire category in $M^{*}$ is, in fact, almost-transitive and superreflexive. We also obtain a characterization of finite-dimensional spaces in terms of functions that attain their supremum: a Banach space is finite-dimensional if, for every equivalent norm, every rank-one operator attains its numerical radius. Finally, we describe the subset of norm attaining functionals on a space isomorphic to $\ell$$_1$, where the norm is the restriction of a Luxembourg norm on $L_1$. In fact, the subset of norm attaining functionals for this norm coincides with the subset of norm attaining functionals for the usual norm.m.

The perceptual change and reproduction process of a space is distinguished from the difference between the Modem Times and the digitalized Post-modem Times. Inference process of resolution-based automated reasoning easily consumes the memory of computer without giving any useful result by priducing lots of fruioless information which are not necessary for the conslusion. This paper suggests a control strategy for saving the space of computer memory and reducing the inference time. The strategy uses a restriction that comparatively irrelevant axioms do mot take pare in the resoluition. In order to analyze and determine the priorities of the input axioms of joning the inference process, the system employs the fuzzy relational products.
