  • The ultrasonic welding is with features of high electric conductivity and hot conductivity when it is used in metallic bond, high electric conductivity and hot conductivity when it is used in various metallic bonds, excellent quality when it is used for advanced junction, easiness when it is used in various metallic bonds, being needless for the exhaustive material and being benefit for the environment. Currently the use of ultrasonic welding is increasing in the industrial fields such as the automobile battle, the refrigerator, the air conditioner, the battery and the solar cell junction. But the production ability is insufficient in our country and it is necessary to explore the core technology of the ultrasonic welding. In this paper, the output LC resonance filter and 35kHz squal wave onion occurrence Full Bridge plans was designed. The output examination of the ultrasonic oscillator and the ultrasonic welding examination were done. The method for getting more smooth result in the ultrasonic welding machine system was researched.

인쇄전자를 위한 롤투롤 프린팅 공정 장비 기술

  • Manufacturing of printed electronics using printing technology has begun to get into the hot issue in many ways due to the low cost effectiveness to existing semi-conductor process. This technology with both low cost and high productivity, can be applied in the production of organic thin film transistor (OTFT), solar cell, radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, printed battery, E-paper, touch screen panel, black matrix for liquid crystal display (LCD), flexible display, and so forth. The emerging technology to manufacture the products in mass production is roll-to-roll printing technology which is a manufacturing method by printings of multi-layered patterns composed of semi-conductive, dielectric and conductive layers. In contrary to the conventional printing machines in which printing precision is about $50~100{\mu}m$, the printing machines for printed electronics should have a precision under $30{\mu}m$. In general, in order to implement printed electronics, narrow width and gap printing, register of multi-layer printing by several printing units, and printing accuracy of under $30{\mu}m$ are all required. We developed the roll-to-roll printing equipment used for printed electronics, which is composed of un-winder, re-winder, tension measurement system, feeding units, dancer systems, guide unit, printing unit, vision system, dryer units, and various auxiliary devices. The equipment is designed based on cantilever type in which all rollers except printing ones have cantilever types, which could give more accurate machine precision as well as convenience for changing rollers and observing the process.

Utility-Interactive Four-Switch Three-Phase Soft-Switching Inverter with Single Resonant DC-Link Snubber and Boost Chopper

  • In this paper, a novel proposal for a utility-interactive three-phase soft commutation sinewave PWM power conditioner with an auxiliary active resonant DC-link snubber is developed for fuel cell and solar power generation systems. The prototype of this power conditioner consists of a PWM boost chopper cascaded three-phase power conditioner, a single two-switch auxiliary resonant DC-link snubber with two electrolytic capacitors incorporated into one leg of a three-phase V-connection inverter and a three-phase AC power source. The proposed cost-effective utility-interactive power conditioner implements a unique design and control system with a high-frequency soft switching sinewave PWM scheme for all system switches. The operating performance of the 10 kW experimental setup including waveform quality, EMI/RFI noises and actual efficiency characteristics of the proposed power conditioner are demonstrated on the basis of the measured data.

  • The rapid thermal annealing effect of transparent IZTO(indium zinc oxide) and IAZO(indium alminium zinc oxide) films grown on glass substrate for solar cell or flat panel displays(FPDs) was studied. We prepared IZTO using RF magnetron sputtering and IAZO using DC co-sputtering method. Subsequently, using rapid thermal annealing(RTA) system, prepared IZTO and IAZO films were annealed at 300, 400, 500, $600^{\circ}C$ for 90sec. In addition, Electrical and optical characteristics were measured by Hall effect measurement and UV/Vis spectrometer examinations, respectively. To analyze structural properties and surface smoothness of the IZTO and IAZO films, XRD and SEM examinations were performed, respectively. It was shown that IZTO and IAZO films exhibited microcrystalline structure over $400^{\circ}C$ and amorphous structural regardless of RTA temperature, respectively.

  • Many photovoltaic(PV) systems are being developed and installed. For a PV developer, simulations are required before the experimental testing. However, most simulation tools do not offer data libraries for PV systems, so that some Institutes who try to use such software will be in difficulty. In this paper, simulations of performance and stability have been carried out using the software PSPICE. In this paper, the modelling of solar cell arrays, photovoltaic modules, PV generators, batteries and drive systems is carried out based on mathematical equivalence circuits and available data, and the models are converted into a data library for PSPICE that is user friendly. System variations can be modeled by simple parameter variation. To verify the accuracy of the simulation library, various models were run and compared to known systems.

Johannes Nathanael Lieberkühn (1711-1756): luminary eighteenth century anatomist and his illuminating discovery of intestinal glands

  • Johannes Nathanael Lieberkühn was a prodigious anatomist whose meticulous experiments and precise detailing helped in comprehending the microscopic anatomy of digestive system during early part of eighteenth century. Notably, his inventions in the field of microscopy aptly complemented his quest for anatomical knowledge at microscopic level. He designed a reflector (Lieberkühn reflector) which enhanced the amount of focussed light leading to bright illumination of tissue specimen. He invented the solar microscope which provided excellent resolution of minute anatomical details. Lieberkühn discovered the digestive juice secreting tubular glands (glands of Lieberkühn) present at the base of intestinal villi producing epithelial invaginations (crypts of Lieberkühn). He also described the intricate juxtaposition of blood vessels in relation to a single intestinal villi. Moreover, through empirically designed experimental set up, Lieberkühn was able to demonstrate the flow of lymph from intestinal villi to collecting lymphatic vessels. Also, his grandiose collection of laboratory specimens involving vascular anatomy are a testimony of his untiring efforts in academia. His contributions were seminal in comprehending the anatomy of digestive system and paved the way for future revelations. His work unveiled the enormous scope of microanatomy in medical science and catalysed the advent of histological staining methods a century later.

저전력형 LED 보안등의 PWM형 구동제어 특성 개선 (Improvement of PWM Driving Control Characteristics for Low Power LED Security Light)

  • 본 연구에서는 220[V] 상용전원을 대체한 태양전지 모듈을 응용하고 등 기구는 할로겐 등이나 나트륨 등을 대체한 LED 조명을 이용한 저전력형 LED 보안등을 개발하였다. 또한 LED 구동제어기의 발열문제와 구동전류를 최소화할 수 있는 PWM형 구동제어회로를 설계하였다. 개발된 시스템에서, 광 효율에 대한 측정값은 93.6 [lm/W] 이고, LED 램프의 발열 제어를 위하여 제어기 내부에 고 정밀 온도센서(TC1047A)를 사용하였다. LED 조명등에서 발생하는 고열을 제거하기 위하여 금속 삽입형 방열 장치를 통하여 대기 속으로 신속하게 다중분산 시키도록 설계하였다. LED 조명등의 발열제어 온도 범위는 $50{\sim}55[^{\circ}C]$였다. LED 보안등의 광속 및 점등 속도는 0.5[sec] 이고 LED 램프의 빔 확산 각도는 높이 6[m]를 기준으로 하는 배광곡선에 의해 약 $110[^{\circ}]$의 빔 각도를 얻었다.

  • 본 연구는 건물에서의 태양광발전시스템 중 수직 측벽에 설치 및 적용되는 태양광발전시스템을 연구의 범위로 설정한다. 연구 방법으로 문헌연구를 통하여 이론적 배경을 고찰하였고, 이후 국내외 수직 측벽에 설치 및 적용되는 태양광 발전기 디자인의 현황과 동향, 특징을 파악하여 사례를 조사, 분석하였다. 그 결과 태양광 발전기의 중요도와 필요성, 발전 가능성 및 성장세를 확인하였으며, 심미성 향상을 위한 긍정적 요인과 방향성을 발견하였다. 이러한 점을 기준으로 향후 수직 측벽에 설치 및 적용되는 태양광발전시스템디자인에 적용할 시 올 수 있는 기대효과를 제안하고, 추후 연구 진행할 그린 파사드 디자인을 활용한 박막 태양전지 디자인 기술 개발 제안에 대해 심미성 향상을 위한 방향성과 의의를 확인하고자 한다.

Photo-controlled gene expression by fluorescein-labeled antisense oligonucleotides in combination with visible light irradiation

  • A new concept of "photo" -antisense method has been evaluated, where the inhibition of gene expression by the conventional antisense method is enhanced by photochemical binding between antisense oligonucleotides conjugated with photo-reactive compound and target mRNA or DNA. Fluorescein labeled oligodeoxyribonucleotides (F-DNA) was delivered to cell nuclei in the encapsulated form in multilamellar lecithin liposomes with neutral charge. F-DNA was previously shown to photo-bind to the complementary stranded DNA, and the delivery system using neutral liposome to be effective in normal human keratinocytes. In the present study, we used human kidney cancer G401.2/6TG.1 cell line to be advantageous in reproducible experiments. p53 was adopted as a target gene since antisense sequence information has been accumulated. The nuclear localization ofF-DNA was identified by comparing the fluorescence ofF-DNA with that of Hoechst 33258 under fluorescence microscope. After 7hr incubation to accumulate p53 protein induced by UV -B, p53 protein was quantified by Western blot. After 2hrs from F-DNA application, about 30% of cell population incorporated F-DNA in their nuclei with some morphological change possibly due to liposomal toxicity. Irradiation of visible light longer than 400nm from solar simulator at this time enhanced the inhibitory action of antisense F-DNA. The present results suggest that photo-antisense method is promising to control gene expression in time and space dependent manner. Further improvement of F-DNA delivery to cancer cells in the stability and toxicity is in progress. progress.

풍력발전기 모델링 및 리미트 MPPT제어기에 관한 연구 (Study on a Limit MPPT Controller for the Modelling of a Wind Power Generator)

  • 현재 화석연료에만 의존하는 에너지 시장을 변화시키고자 하는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 가운데 신재생에너지(연료전지, 풍력, 태양광 등)를 복합적으로 활용한 분산전원시스템에 관한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이 가운데 풍력 발전시스템은 발전효율, 가격 측면 등에 있어 많이 연구되고 있다. 그러나 풍력발전시스템의 경우 난류가 되기 쉽고, 풍향이나 풍속이 수십초의 간격으로 변화하기 때문에, 바람의 에너지를 최대한 이용하는 최대전력점추종(MPPT)제어기의 역할이 가장 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 풍속과 풍차, 전력에 관한 정보를 사용하는 것으로 이전방식보다 간단한 MPPT를 제안하였다. 제안한 제어기는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 정격속도와 가변속도에서 항상 전력의 최대전력점에서 제어기가 동작하고 있다는 것을 검증하였다.
