  • Nano imprint Lithography (NIL) is regarded as one of the next-generation lithography technologies with EUV lithography, immersion lithography, Laser interference lithography. Because a Si wafer stamp and a quartz stamp, used to imprinting usually are very expensive and easily broken, it is suggested that master stamp is duplicated by PDMS and the PDMS stamp uses to imprint .For using the PDMS stamp, a thermally curable monomer resin was used for the imprinting process to lower pressure and temperature. As a result, NIL patterns were successfully fabricated.

  • We have demonstrated the fabrication of patterned 3D photonic crystals by holographic lithography in conjunction with soft lithography. Holographic lithography created 3D ordered macroporous structures and soft lithography made tailored defects. Because the hard baked photoresist pattern possessed high resistance against the uncured photoresist solution and the refractive index did not change appreciably by hard baking, a crosslinked photoresist was used as a relief pattern for the holographic fabrication of patterned 3D photonic crystals. More complicated defect geometries might be easily obtained with more complicated patterns on PDMS stamps. Moreover, the present results might be used as templates for 3D PCs of highindex defects that can be exploited as optical waveguides and optical circuits.

  • 레이저 기반의 무바늘 액체 약물전달장치는 계속해서 개발되어왔다. 레이저 빔이 고무 챔버 내부의 액체에 모이게 된다. 초점이 맞춰진 레이저 빔은 공기방울을 생성시키고 급격히 팽창하게 된다. 밀봉된 챔버 안쪽에서의 급격한 부피변화는 액체약물을 마이크로 노즐을 통해 빠르게 밀어내어 마이크로 약물젯을 생성한다. 노즐의 출구지름은 100 ${\mu}m$ 이하이며 본 연구팀은 생성된 마이크로 약물젯의 속도가 인체의 연조직으로 침투시키기에 충분함을 확인하였다. 이 실험에서는 사람의 혈전을 모사한 무게 비 5%의 젤라틴 수용액을 냉각시킨 샘플과 돼지 지방층을 사용하여 침투실험을 수행하였다.

  • Laser wave length can have evaporation effect by absorption because outer skin or tissue of focus is consisted of water almost though absorption of water occurs more than 90% almost in formation thickness of very thin floor. Can operate outer skin, steam by floor and correct incision of formation is available. Suture surgical operation is available to vein or lymph system and surgical operation region can dry and see as eye and radish bleeding surgical operation is available. Specially, stability of tube both end output about pulse by weight very, this research can cause various curative effect because can reduce bulk and control easily current wave style of medical laser using electric power conversion device of high frequency way. If introduce ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) or ZVZCS (Zero Voltage and Zero Current Switching), is more profitable because can reduce switching damage. Because electric power department of proposed medical laser can do stable soft-switching in wide subordinate extent introducing ZVZCS technique by the first help and control department composes microcontroller, output current waveform user have free form make. Result that experiment because design and manufacture, brought result that improve of 20% than existing equipment, and will be bought to get into superior result if supplement as systematic late.

초고속/대면적 레이저 가공을 위한 경로 생성 알고리즘 개발 (Path Generation Algorithm Development for Ultrafast/Wide Area Laser Processing)

  • We developed a path algorithm for ultrafast/wide area laser processing. Demands for high precision laser processing with a wide area has been increasing for a number of applications such as in solar cell battery, display parts, electronic component and automobile industry. Expansion of the area in which laser processing is an important factor to handle the ultrafast/wide area processing, it will require a processing path. Processing path is path of 2- axis stage and stage of change in velocity can be smooth as possible. In this paper, we proposed a smoothingnurbs method of improved speed profile. This method creates soft path from edge part, it is main purpose that scan area ($50mm{\times}50mm$) inside processing path makes path of topology of possible straight line. We developed a simulation tool using Visual C++.

  • The demand for three-dimensional (3D) shape measurements is increasing in a variety of fields, including the manufacture of molds and dies. The most popular technology for 3D shape measurement is the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with a contact trigger probe. Although a CMM provides a high degree of accuracy, it is inefficient due to its long measuring time. It also has difficulty measuring soft objects that can be deformed by the touch of the contact probe. In addition, a CMM cannot digitize areas that are difficult to reach, and cannot capture very minute details on the surface of complex parts. For these reasons, optical non-contact measurement techniques are receiving more attention since they eliminate most of the problems associated with contact methods. Laser scanning is emerging as one of the more promising non-contact measurement techniques. This paper describes various acquisition considerations for laser scanning, including the accuracy of the 3D scan data, which depends on the charge-coupled device (CCD) gain and noise. The CCD gain and noise of a 3D laser scanner are varied while keeping the other conditions constant, and the measurement results are compared to the dimensions of a standard model. The experimental results show that a considerable time savings and an optimum degree of accuracy are possible by selecting the proper CCD gain and noise.

  • A Case of pemphigus bulgaris in buccal mucosa of 48 years old Korean female was reported. Final diagnosis was determined by evaluation of clinical and histopathological finding. The patient could be treated successfully by administration of prednisolone, injection of bethametasone, application of oramedy and irradiation of soft laser.

Effect of laser-dimpled titanium surfaces on attachment of epithelial-like cells and fibroblasts

  • PURPOSE. The objective of this study was to conduct an in vitro comparative evaluation of polished and laser-dimpled titanium (Ti) surfaces to determine whether either surface has an advantage in promoting the attachment of epithelial-like cells and fibroblast to Ti. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Forty-eight coin-shaped samples of commercially pure, grade 4 Ti plates were used in this study. These discs were cleaned to a surface roughness (Ra: roughness centerline average) of 180 nm by polishing and were divided into three groups: SM (n=16) had no dimples and served as the control, SM15 (n=16) had $5-{\mu}m$ dimples at $10-{\mu}m$ intervals, and SM30 (n=16) had $5-{\mu}m$ dimples at $25-{\mu}m$ intervals in a $2{\times}4mm^2$ area at the center of the disc. Human gingival squamous cell carcinoma cells (YD-38) and human lung fibroblasts (MRC-5) were cultured and used in cell proliferation assays, adhesion assays, immunofluorescent staining of adhesion proteins, and morphological analysis by SEM. The data were analyzed statistically to determine the significance of differences. RESULTS. The adhesion strength of epithelial cells was higher on Ti surfaces with $5-{\mu}m$ laser dimples than on polished Ti surfaces, while the adhesion of fibroblasts was not significantly changed by laser treatment of implant surfaces. However, epithelial cells and fibroblasts around the laser dimples appeared larger and showed increased expression of adhesion proteins. CONCLUSION. These findings demonstrate that laser dimpling may contribute to improving the peri-implant soft tissue barrier. This study provided helpful information for developing the transmucosal surface of the abutment.

  • Laser Powder Deposition (LPD) is a technology capable of modifying a metallic structure by adding the appropriate material to perform a desired function. LPD offers a unique fabrication technique that allows the use of soft (tough) materials as base structures. Through LPD a hard material can be applied to the base material with little thermal input (minimal dilution and heat-affected-zone {HAZ}), thus providing the function of a heat treatment or other surface modifications. These surface modifications have been evaluated through standard wear testing (ASTM G-65), surface hardness (Rc), micro-hardness (vickers), and optical microscopy.

  • 악교정 수술에 대한 관심이 증가되고, 환자 또한 증가되는 시점에서, 환자에 대한 정확한 진단이 우선되어야 하며, 환자의 요구에 의해서 수술시기가 죄우되는 것이 아니라, 술전 교정치료를 하고 수술하는 경우와 수술을 일찍하고 후에 교정치료를 하는 경우에 대한 결정은 치과교정의사와 구강악안면외과의사가 함께 최신의 다양한 방법 등을 통한 정확한 분석과 예측과정 후에 각각의 환자에 맞는 수술계획을 수립한 후 시행하여야 하며, 무엇보다도 최선의 치료 결과를 얻는 것이 가장 중요하다.
