This study was conducted to estimate genetic effects on economically important traits for genetic improvement in Hanwoo by using the real-time ultrasound measurements for longissimus dorsi muscle area (LMA), backfat thickness (BFT), and marbling score (Marb). The phenotypic data were obtained from 1,648 pedigreed cows, and general linear models were applied to test the effects of age, region, and body condition socre. The cows between 50 and 60 months of age had the greatest scores for LMA and BFT, and Marb (P<0.05). The cows in region C had the greatest scores for body condition socre, LMA and BFT, while in region J Marb was the lowest (P<0.05). There was positive relation with LMA, BFT, and Marb according to increase body condition socre. Heritabilities for LMA, BFT, and Marb were estimated as 0.136, 0.351, and 0.236, respectively. These results would provide primary information for the efficient implementation of genetic improvement schemes in Hanwoo.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Gagamsunbangpaedoktang on 30 Chronic Urticaria patients. Methods : Total 30 chronic urticaria patients, who has visited korean medical clinic from 1st July 2014 to 29th February 2016 were analyzed by using Urticaria Activity Socre(UAS). Subanalysis of UAS was done according to disease period. Results & Conclusions : UAS score was improved as a result of Gagamsunbangpaedoktang treatment. Gagamsunbangpaedoktang can be effective treatment for Chronic Urticaria.

The author compared indices of thyroid function in 76 patients with panic attack and 80 control subjects. And SCL-90-R was performed to evaluate the relationship between the psychiatric symptoms and thyroid indices in the patients with panic attack The results were as follows: 1). No siginificant differences in T3, T4 or TSH were found between the two groups. But T3 level was significantly lower in male panic patients than male controls(p<0.005). 2) The T3 level was significantly lower in male panic patients who had higher depression socre than average in SCL-90-R(p<0.025). 3) The TSH level was significantly lower in patients with higher anxiety(p<0.001) and phobia(p<0.05) score and in female panic patients(p<0.001) with higher anxiety and phobia score than average in SCL-90-R. 4) The phobic symptom(p<0.001) was siginificantly higher and the T3 level(p<0.005) was lower in the male than the female patients with panic attack.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the correlation of pain, stiffness, and physical function by analyizing the KWOMAC socre of the patients with degenerative knee OA, is the most common disease among senior population. Method : 100 degenerative knee OA patients, diagnosed at the hostpital or clinic located in Degu and Kyung-buk province were participated in the study. Result : This study results in following conclusions. 1. Degenerative knee OA patients complained the pain going up or down stairs, stiffness after getting up in the morning. immediately. 2. They also had significant difficulty ascending or decending stairs, getting in or out of car, rising from sitting, doing chores. 3. There was the high correlation among pain, stiffness, physical function. Conclusions : It may provide information to assess the ADL of knee OA patients and the exercise, outcome for their independent life effectly.

본 논문에서는 XNA Framework 기반의 모바일 게임 History Adventure를 설계하고 구현한다. 이 모바일 게임은 영웅별 3개의 스테이지 구성되어 있으며 각 단계별로 각 나라를 대표를 하는 영웅들과 전쟁의 발발 원인에 대한 퀴즈 풀이를 진행한다. 이때 정답을 선택하면 HP를 공급하고 실패하면 정답을 알려줌으로써 게임과 학습을 함께 할 수 있다. 영웅들이 적을 격파하지 못하고 적선이 통과를 하게 된다면 HP(Hit Point)는 감소하고, 적선을 격퇴하면 난이도가 높은 스테이지로 이동한다. 게임중에 일정 점수를 획득하면 보너스 코인과 HP를 지급한다. 지급받은 코인 및 HP는 현재 스테이지를 수행하고 다음 스테이지로 이동해도 유효하다. 적의 보스를 처리할시 실제 전쟁의 결과를 알려주면서 다음 단계로 이동한다.

In this clinical research, the fluoride tape(SCMC-T-5) using fluoride(NaF) was developed and manufactured and the treatment effect of the fluoride tape in dentin hypersensitivity patients was evaluated and compared with the effect of existing fluoride varnish($CavityShield^{TM}$). Twenty two healthy adult patients(88 teeth) having dentin hypersensitivity participated in this clinical research and they were divided into two groups. The fluoride product was applied according to the manufacturer's instruction and the level of pain in the tooth after giving irritation using compressed air and ice stick was measured just after the application, after 3 days, after a week and after 4 weeks each using visual analog scale(VAS). In the experimental group, compared with the early VAS scores, all other VAS scores showed the significant decreases statistically. In the control group, all VAS scores except the VAS score of 34.091(air) measured 3 days after(using the irritation examination by the compressed air) showed the significant decreases statistically when compared with the early VAS scores. The fluoride tape and fluoride varnish used in this clinical research were able to treat the dentin hypersensitivity effectively.

Voice conversion technology is essential for TTS systems because the construction of speech database takes much effort. In this paper. male-to-female voice conversion technology in Korean LPC TTS system has been studied. In general. the parameters for voice color conversion are categorized into acoustic and prosodic parameters. This paper adopts LSF(Line Spectral Frequency) for acoustic parameter, pitch period and duration for prosodic parameters. In this paper. Pitch period is shortened by the half, duration is shortened by $25\%, and LSFs are shifted linearly for the voice conversion. And the synthesized speech is post-filtered by a bandpass filter. The proposed algorithm is simpler than other algorithms. for example, VQ and Neural Net based methods. And we don't even need to estimate formant information. The MOS(Mean Opinion Socre) test for naturalness shows 2.25 and for female closeness, 3.2. In conclusion, by using the proposed algorithm. male-to-female voice conversion system can be simply implemented with relatively successful results.

The purpose of this study was to investigate any changes in acoustic qualities of voice as ,a function of nasalance, in order to determine the relationship between vocal quality and nasalance. Twenty normal subjects (10 males and 10 females) vocalized /a/, /$\tilde{a}$/, and /a $\eta$/. The changes in nasalance and acoustic characteristics of the voice were analyzed by Nasometer (Model 6200-3, Kay Elemetrics, co) and Dr, Speech 4.0 (Tiger Electronics, Co), respectively. One-way ANOVA was used to examine any changes in jitter, shimmer, harmonics-to-noise ratio, and normalized noise energy relative to the nasalance in 3 types of vocalization. The Person r correlation coefficient was used to identify the relationship between the nasalance and the vocal quality. There was no statistically significant changes in jitter, shimmer, HNR and NNE. The jitter, however, tended to increase as the nasalance socre increased, compared to the other vocal parameters. In addition, the NNE showed an increase on / $\tilde{a}$/, and /a $\eta$/, more on the /a $\eta$/. Thus, it was speculated that NNE could be used to identify or screen resonant disorders with hypernasality

Background: This case study is to describe the manual therapy for the patient with posttraumatic stress (PTSD), sleep disturbance, and pain such as chronic low back pain (CLBP). Methods: The patient who participated in this study was a 60 year-old male PTSD patient with CLBP. His CLBP is not from any genetic or family history but a sequelae of torture that he had gone through about 30 years ago. Prior to the intervention, it was assessed that the PDS-K score was 16, PQSI-K was 12, SLR-90-R was low, VAS score was 10, and KODI socre was 25. The intervention was conducted through manual therapy (myofascial release, muscle energy technique, lumbar stabilization) twice a week for eight weeks in total. Results: After eight week-intervention, the PDS-K, SLR-90-R, VAS, and KODI score were improved whereas PQSI-K was not sufficiently fast improved. Conclusions: The manual therapy is substantially effective in dealing with PTSD and CLBP.

This study was conduced to investigate the seasonal variation of dietary intake and quality obtained by 24 hour recall method in Korean adults living in rural area. The mean daily intakes of 4 seasons were 1,692kcal for energy, 63g(14.8% of energy) for protein, 30g(15.7% of energy) for fat, 257g(60.7% of energy) for carbohydrate. Mean daily intakes were significantly highest in winter for most of the nutrients, and lower in summer for energy, fat, calcium, iron. Mena adequacy ratio(MAR), an index of overall nutritional quality was 0.65 in winter, 0.67 in spring, 0.65 in summer and 0.72 in autumn and nutrient adequacy ratio(NAR) was significantly different fro vitamin C agmong different seasons. Subjects consumed usually 15.3 different foods in winter, 14.5 in summer, 13.9 in spring and 13.7 in autumn. The number of food consumed was positively correlated with intake of most nutrients, especially in autumn. For variety among the five major food groups(grain, meat, dairy, fruit, vegetable) with a dietary diversity scores(DDS) calculated, the average socre of DDS was 3 in all seasons and omitted food groups were usually dariy and fruit. In conclusion, dietary intake and quality of Korean adults were different according to seasons.
