This study investigates aggressive children's perceptions of their social acceptance in conjunction with peer ratings of social acceptance. The subjects were 520 children in the fifth through sixth grades. Children completed questionnaires that assessed self-perceptions of social acceptance. In addition, they completed peer nominations that assessed peer victimization, aggression, and peer acceptance, while their teachers rated children's externalizing problems. The results suggest that aggressive children's self-perceived social acceptance is inflated in relation to the ratings of their peers. For aggressive-rejected children, a highly positive self-perception was shown to be not a protective factor, but rather a defensive posture that places the children at added risk.

The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between caregiver burden and perceived social support among caregivers of patients with cancer. The research was conducted in a university hospital in ${\dot{I}}zmir$, Turkey. Eighty patient relatives who provided care service to patients with cancer who were admitted at hematology and oncology clinics participated in the study. The findings indicated that the care burden score was mild level. The mean of the perceived social support score was $58.4{\pm}21.0$ supporting the conclusion that there is a weak and negative-direct relation between caregiver and perceived social support and that as the perceived social support increased, conversely, care burden decreased.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define and clarify the concept of 'equilibrium' in community-dwelling elderly persons with chronic diseases. Methods: A hybrid model was used for development of the concept of equilibrium. The model included a field study conducted in Seoul, Korea. Participants in this study included 12 elderly persons with chronic diseases who were taking medicine regularly. Results: The concept of equilibrium was found to be a complex phenomenon having meaning in two dimensions: the family-friendly and social relation-oriented dimensions. Four attributes and nine indicators were defined. Conclusion: Equilibrium was defined as the state of having health recognition, will power, and motive power (family-friendly dimension) and having a feeling of participation (social relation-oriented). Therefore, nurses who work with elderly persons with chronic disease in the community should be aware of the attributes and indicators of equilibrium in order to enhance the equilibrium of their elderly clients with chronic diseases.

The methods of data mining are decision tree, association rules, clustering, neural network and so on. Data mining is the method to find useful information for large amounts of data in database. It is used to find hidden knowledge by massive data, unexpectedly pattern, relation to new rule. We analyze Gyeongnam social indicator survey data by 2003 using association rule technique for environment information. Association rules are useful for determining correlations between attributes of a relation and have applications in marketing, financial and retail sectors. We can use association rule outputs in environmental preservation and environmental improvement.

Purpose. The effect of mentoring program on the adaptability of college students to occupational therapy freshmen. Method. Pre-post-test design was performed, and 20 experimental group were selected. Six students in the senior grade of occupational therapy, who can serve as a mentor to experimental groups, were selected from March 28, 2017 to April 26, 2017 conducted a mentoring program. They used BDI, SACQ, Interpersonal relation test. Result. The results of this study are as follows. The mentoring program was effective in improving the adaptation of college students to school life. It was found that the mentoring program was effective in major adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment and academic adjustment. Conclusion. The mentoring program had a significant effects on major adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment and academic adjustment in occupational therapy college freshman.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the problem coping strategies and depression of unemployed husband's wives and to analysis the social support(education and counseling program) needs for their psychological adjustment. The subjects were 139 unemployed husband's wives living in Seoul city and Kyungi-do province. The questionnaire method was used for data gathering. The major findings were as follows" 1) Wives perceived the most negative change of unemployed husband. Wives' depression was influenced by self-esteem evaluation of husband's coping behavior weak health passive coping strategies and negative change of husband and marital relation. 2) Wives needed education and counseling support the most in the area stress & mental health problem marital conflict and marital communication. The result of this study were discussed in the relation with the contents of education and counseling program for unemployed husbands' wives.

This study investigated the relation between parents' verbal control modes and children's maladjustment. The subjects were 445 mothers and their children of sixth grade in elementary schools located in Seoul. To assess the parents' verbal control modes, questionnaire developed by Lee Kyung Hee(1993) was used. The modified version of Achenbach and Edelbrock's CBCL(Child Behavior Checklist) was administered to assess the children's maladjustment. The results were as follows : 1)Significant differences were found in parents' verbal control modes in terms of children's sex difference and social status level. 2) Significant differences were found in children's maladjustment in terms of children's sex difference and social status level. 3) There was a significant correlation between father's verbal control modes and children's maladjustment. Children's maladjustment was related positively to imperative mode and negatively to the person-oriented and position-oriented modes. The best variable explaining girl's maladjustment was father's position-oriented modes. 4) The negative impact of father's imperative mode in combination with the mother's imperative mode on the children's adjustment was greater than other combinations of the father and mother's verbal control modes.

Psychological support is crucial in navigating one's academic and professional lives, especially for students living abroad and pursuing higher education. This study aims to explore the narratives of social support seeking in a group of Korean international graduate students in an urban university setting in the United States. Qualitative research method of narrative approach was used to examine how three Korean graduate students exchanged psychological support. Analysis of interviews, observations, and documents found that four types of social support (informational, instrumental, appraisal, and emotional) were being exchanged and that emotional support was accessible predominantly in individual meetings than in group gatherings. Additionally, the reasons for abstaining from initiating group gatherings are discussed in relation to the Korean culture where participants were mindful of not infringing on each other's time. These findings inform theory on socio psychological support seeking and its relation to cultural values and offer practical insights into psychological support in international students in higher education settings.

본 연구는 기계와 사용자의 동반자 관계에 대한 고려 사항을 제시한 연구이다. 인간 - 로봇 관계가 중요해짐에 따라 로봇의 역할과 커뮤니케이션 스타일이 중요해졌다. 본 연구는 소셜 로봇의 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 어떻게 디자인해야하는지 보기 위해 사전 연구를 기반으로 시나리오를 생성했다. 예상되는 역할과 커뮤니케이션 스타일에 따라 4 가지 조건을 비교하기 위해 $2{\times}2$ 실험을 수행했다. 예상되는 역할을 지배력에 따라 역할을 담당하고 역할로 나눴다. 또한, 한 가지 조건에서 커뮤니케이션 스타일을 맞추었고 다른 한 가지에서는 일치하지 않게 설정했다. 연구결과 커뮤니케이션 스타일과 일치하는 역할이 어떤 역할에서는 중요하지만 모든 역할에서 중요하지 않다는 것을 밝혔다. 본 연구는 HCI가 인간 - 컴퓨터 관계로 확장되며, 인간과 로봇 간의 교제에 대한 미래의 연구에 영감을 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the different types of cooperation between the textile industries and the artists at the beginning of the 20th century in relation to the social background which motivated the artists. Therefore, this study tries to analyse the interactions between the cooperation and the movement of social reform of the period and describe the various phase of artistic expression as a result of artists' view point of the society. The results are as follows; 1. There are two different standpoints toward the cooperation. The one conceives the different role of artists in relation to society and the other tries to enlarge the field of expression as an artistic challenge. 2. The different standpoint engenders significant diversity in its development, result and decline. 3. The raise of new artist group "designer" who reconciles the art and the industry as vocation diminishes the need of direct participations of artists. 4. The spirit of the time has changed and emphasised more the conceptual part of the art than the properties of matter. It provides less favorable condition for the cooperation. The cooperation between the art and the industry is a significant resource of the textile and clothing design. The interaction is not limited to visual effect but partakes in the solutions of the common artistic or social problems. problems.
