사회복지과 학생들이 지각하는 사회복지사의 이미지에 대한 연구 (A Study of Social Workers' Image as Perceived by University Students from Social Welfare Departments)

  • Purpose : This study aims to investigate social welfare and students' image of social workers and determine the relevance of these factors to the academic system, gender, and their motivations when selecting a major. Methods : For this study, social welfare students from two two-year colleges and two four-year universities were randomly selected, and 320 students from social welfare departments who understood and agreed to participate in the research took the survey. The data analysis of this study was conducted using SPSS 23.0. Results : The Social Welfare Department students' perception of a social worker's image was shown to be positive. In the social worker image based on academic background, the first grade was found to be more positive than the second, third, and fourth grades. The professional image was more positive than the traditional, social, and vocational images. The gender-based social worker image showed that females were more positive than males. Females were more positive for the professional image, and males were more positive for the traditional image. Regarding the image of social workers based on students' motivation when choosing their major, it was found that volunteer jobs were more positive in terms of traditional images, social images through recommendations, and professional images with aptitude and interest. Conclusion : In sum, most of the students in the social welfare departments had a positive perception of the social worker position. They had a more positive image at the time of admission. Finally, students who entered the school with an expert awareness of social welfare were more positive.

사회복지학과 재학생의 문제음주, 부모의 문제음주 영향 그리고 공동의존 (A Study on Problem Drinking and the influence of Parents' Problem Drinking and Codependency among Students in Dept. of Social Welfare.)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지학과 재학생들이 앞으로 사회복지현장에서 문제음주를 전문적으로 개입할 수 있는 역량을 마련할 수 있도록 재학생의 문제음주, 부모의 문제음주 영향 그리고 공동의존을 중심으로 기초자료를 제공하고자 했다. 이를 위해 2012년 11월22일부터 2012년 12월 12일까지 강원영동지역 4년제 대학교 사회복지학 재학생 303명을 대상으로 설문하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 연구 참여자의 음주율은 91.1%였고 문제음주(AUDIT의 국제기준 8점 이상)일 경우 평균 8.33점이었으며, 성별이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 연구 참여자의 부모 문제음주에 영향(6점 이상)을 받은 참여자는 전체의 1/3 정도였고, 가정 월평균 소득이 유의한 차이가 있었다. 연구 참여자의 공동의존은 평균 59.77점(가벼운 공동의존)이었으며, 가정의 월평균소득에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 공동의존은 부모의 문제음주 영향에 영향을 받고 있었다. 이 결과를 토대로 사회복지학과 재학생의 문제음주 대처 역량을 마련하기 위한 제언을 하였다.

대학생 연줄망 측정을 위한 척도 개발 (Development of Scale for College Students' Social Network)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 연줄망을 측정하는 도구개발을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰, 전문가집단의 회의, 대학생을 대상으로 한 면대면 심층 인터뷰 및 두 차례의 사전조사를 통해 연줄망의 관계적, 구조적, 기능적 영역의 개념을 도출하고 25개의 예비문항을 개발하였다. 본 조사를 통한 최종결과로 연줄망의 관계적 영역 2개, 구조적 영역 7개, 기능적 영역 14개 등 총 23개 문항의 척도를 개발하였다. 연줄망의 기능적 영역에 대한 척도는 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 정서적 경제적 영적 사회관계적 기능 등 네 가지의 하위요인으로 구성되었으며, 전체 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 0.716으로 만족할 만한 신뢰도와 타당도를 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 대학생들의 연줄망 측정도구는 대학생들이 처한 다양한 사회적 문제들을 가시화 하는 동시에 대학생들의 특정한 욕구를 해소해 나가는 전략을 수립하는 데에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

대학생의 의식구조가 자원봉사활동에 미치는 영향 (The Study on the Impact of Identity of College Students on the Participation of the Voluntary Social Activity -Focusing on Self-Esteem, Morality and Social Welfare Ideology-)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of social voluntary activity on the identity of women's college students. universities are functionally constituted by teaching, researching and social service. Data for analysis are collected 439 students at K women's college in other to examine research questions, t-test and regression test. The results of this analysis are as follows : First, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the college students who had ever experienced social voluntary activity and who had not. Second, The personal characteristics did not give an impact, but their satisfaction was under the influence of institutional support for supervision and altitude of themselves for social service, which were part of the institution characteristics. Third, The social service effectiveness was not affected by the personal characteristics, except influenced by the instituitional characteristits such as degree of compensation an influence on self-esteem. also social welfare and morality were not affected. Fourth, There was any gap in self-esteem, morality and social welfare ideology between the impact of service satisfaction on service effectiveness.

대학생 봉사학습에 관한 실증적 사례연구 (An Experiential Study on Service Learning Experiences of University Students)

  • Service learning usually has two aspects. One aspect is associated with applying class learning to related fields. The other aspect is associated with challenging and dynamic volunteering experiences. This study examined experiences of 70 social work students who took service learning courses at a university. After the courses, these students were asked regarding (1) evaluation and satisfaction of overall service learning experiences, (2) evaluation of service learning contents and the following activities, (3) the process of volunteering activities, and (4) the differences between service learning courses and other regular courses. Results were as follows: students generally regarded service learning experiences as positive; students reported understanding of social work practice and learning of professional skills; however, the service learning courses seemed to be very demanding in time and adjusting personal schedules; teamwork among students seemed to be good, especially in cooperation and emotional support; however, some students reported struggling experiences in allocating roles among team members; finally, the relationship between students and social workers at the agencies and the coordination of community resources seemed to be weak. In order for service learning courses to be more effective, this study presented some suggestions in the conclusion.

Effect of Stress, Impulsivity, Peer Attachment and Social Interest on Gambling Behavior

  • This study identified the severity of youth gambling behavior and analyzed the impact of stress, impulsivity, peer attachment and social interest on youth gambling behavior. Based on the results of the study, the government sought to help understand teenagers who are addicted to gambling and to help them maintain psychological and social stability and healthy living. A total of 237 high school students were surveyed. According to the analysis, the prevalence rate was found to be 3.4 percent of the problem gambling group and 9.3 percent of the medium-risk gambling group, and a total of 12.7 percent was addiction. Low-risk gambling groups accounted for 16.9 percent and non-problem gambling groups accounted for 70.5 percent. By gender, male students have more serious gambling problems than female students. As a result of dividing the group that experienced gambling more than once and the group that did not experience gambling into gambling group and non-gambling group, the two groups showed significant differences in impulsiveness, avoidant attachment, and interest in others. Furthermore, a correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between these factors and the level of gambling behavior, showing that only impulsivity was significant.

교육복지 사업에 대한 만족이 사회적 자본을 매개하여 학교적응에 미치는 영향: 초·중학생 간 차이를 중심으로 (The effect of the satisfaction of education welfare project on the school adaptation and mediative effect of social capital : Difference between elementary and middle school students)

  • 본 연구는 초중학생들의 교육복지 사업에 대한 만족이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는지 그리고 사회적 자본이 이를 매개하는지와 초등학생과 중학생 간의 경로 차이를 발견하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해서 교육복지 사업에 참여한 강원도의 초등학교 4학년과 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해서 수집된 153명의 초등학생과 124명의 중학생 자료를 구조방정식의 다집단 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 초등학생은 사회적 자본이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 경로에 대해서만 유의하게 인식하였다. 중학생은 교육복지 사업에 대한 만족이 학교적응에, 사회적 자본이 학교적응에 영향을 미친다고 인식하였다. 두 집단 모두 교육복지 사업에 대한 만족과 학교적응 간의 관계에서 사회적 자본이 매개효과를 갖지 못하였다. 이를 토대로 초중학생들의 학교적응을 돕기 위한 실천적 방안을 제안하였다.

죽음준비교육이 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도와 자살생각에 미치는 효과 - 대구지역 사회복지전공 대학생을 대상으로 - (Effects of Death Education on College Students' Death Orientation and Suicidal Ideation - With a Focus on College Students majoring in Social Welfare in Daegu, Korea -)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of death education, focusing on death orientation and suicidal ideation, among college students majoring in social welfare. Participation in this study was voluntary. Participants were divided into two groups; an experimental group and a control group, totaling fourteen participants in each group. In exploring the effects of death education, the experimental group was subjected to a total of seven independent sessions dealing with death education over a period of four weeks. As a result of the death education, scores of death orientation and suicidal ideation in the experimental group were significantly lower in the control group. College students majoring in social welfare in the experimental group demonstrated greater comfort with the concept of death, as well as death being the prolongation of one life and new hope for an ensuing life. The experimental group demonstrated a greater appreciation for life, more confidence in setting future goals for their lives, and an awareness of, and ability to deal positively with suicidal tendencies in themselves and others. This research demonstrated a strong practical benefit associated with death education and suicidal ideation awareness.

사회복지과 학생의 현장실습을 통한 지역사회복지의 주체적 참여방안 연구 (A study on the subjective participation plan in community welfare by the medium of the field practicum for social work student in undergraduate courses)

  • In social welfare arena field practicum has been an essential instrument and method for social work students to get socialized to the social work professional. However, to whom involve in the actual field practicum-universities(or colleges), institutes - have some difficulties. On the base of community welfare is a clinical approach in this times. To strengthen community welfare policy, the beginning of community welfare committee is such a good opportunity to tackle the problems of the field practicum. This study suggest that the problem of the field training are 1) a guidance of an individual social work institute, 2) the lack of social work institute, 3) the absence of the trainee's sense of values, 4) the bad conditions of the field practicum for social work students in undergraduate courses at the university(or college), and 5) the lack of professionalism for supervisors. This study makes the following social work suggestions to vitalize field practicum in community welfare. It is more likely important to 1) make the law of the field practicum for undergraduate social work courses, 2) make the coordinated programs of the field practicum for undergraduate social work course in community welfare, 3) enlarge the opportunity that a field specialist take further education, 4) support and carry of supervisor reeducation, 5) make the program development of trainee's personal experiences in social work values, and 6) social work professors make a practice in the social work field.
