  • Community portraits can deeply explore the characteristics of community structures and describe the personalized knowledge needs of community users, which is of great practical significance for improving community recommendation services, as well as the accuracy of resource push. The current community portraits generally have the problems of weak perception of interest characteristics and low degree of integration of topic information. To resolve this problem, the reader community portrait method based on the thematic and timeliness characteristics of interest labels (UIT) is proposed. First, community opinion leaders are identified based on multi-feature calculations, and then the topic features of their texts are identified based on the LDA topic model. On this basis, a semantic mapping including "reader community-opinion leader-text content" was established. Second, the readers' interest similarity of the labels was dynamically updated, and two kinds of tag parameters were integrated, namely, the intensity of interest labels and the stability of interest labels. Finally, the similarity distance between the opinion leader and the topic of interest was calculated to obtain the dynamic interest set of the opinion leaders. Experimental analysis was conducted on real data from the Douban reading community. The experimental results show that the UIT has the highest average F value (0.551) compared to the state-of-the-art approaches, which indicates that the UIT has better performance in the smooth time dimension.

  • Smart space is a technology that supports humans by interacting with the surrounding environment. Smart space has a built-in dynamic intelligent environment. This paper proposes a framework that provides user-customized dynamic intelligent environments in smart spaces. In the existing research that provides user-customized intelligent services, users' interests are only explicitly analyzed, and smart spaces are not considered. Implicit interest analysis can suggest a service that may be of interest to users rather than explicit interest analysis, but it requires higher performance than explicit interest analysis. Smart spaces can obtain useful information by interacting with information in the space. The framework proposed in the study uses a proximity-based social network of things to fit into a smart space. In addition, the implicit interest analysis provides intelligent information for smart spaces using the social media information and spatial information objects. In addition, we propose a method to prevent performance degradation while maintaining accuracy in consideration of the characteristics of the smart space.

  • Although academic interest, the intersection of cognition, emotion, and motivation, is a primary goal of learning and mediates the effects of learning, the present learning environment is full of impeding factors which undermine learner's interests in learning situation. The purpose of this study is to examine current state of academic interests of Korean students and to identify several potential causes of developmental declines in academic interests. It has been consistently found that academic interests in various school subjects decrease with age and grade in school. Three potentially contributing factors to the observed loss of academic interests are mainly discussed: deprived autonomy, severe competition, and normative evaluation. Based on theories on interest and motivation, and empirical findings, various prescriptions are also suggested for designing an interest-based learning environment in order to trigger and enhance learner's academic interests.

  • This study was conducted to explore the possibilities of educational use of social curation service, which is the third-generation social networking service called the "matters of interest type." To this end, the study selected nine college students, then have them use social curation service for about 50 days, and analyzed their responses by performing the focus group interview (FGI). As a result of the analysis, social curation service was found to have strong points, including collection of various types of information, classification and summary through creation of my own category, possibility of constant updating of matters of interest, and reduction of relative deprivation compared to existing social networking services. To solve these issues, constant promotion was needed. From the aspect of educational use, it was found that social curation service had possibilities for individuals and teams: For individuals, the service enabled voluntary search and use of information, configuration of my own data, and facilitation of self-directed learning. For teams, it enabled discussion and presentation activities through sharing.

  • This study classified respondents by degree of obesity using Body Mass Index(BMI) and investigated the differences in self-esteem, food lifestyle, social-cultural attitudes towards appearance, and diet-related attitude and behavior such as trial number of diet, exercise time and period, use of diet information, interest in weight control, diet motivation, and dietetic therapy. A survey was conducted with 258 adults between the ages of 20 and 29 who lived in Daegu and Uijeongbu from November $17^{th}$ to December $14^{th}$ 2014. Data collected from the respondents were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analyses, analyses of variance and chi-square tests. This study divided the respondents into three groups (the underweight, the normal weight, the overweight) according to Body Mass Index. The results showed that there were significant differences in food lifestyle (health-conscious, popularity-seeking, taste-seeking), social-cultural attitudes towards appearance, exercise time and period, use of diet information, interest in weight control, diet motivation, and dietetic therapy among groups classified by degree of obesity. However, there were no differences in self-esteem, convenience-seeking, and trial number of diet among them.

Data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, Cronbach's t-test, ANOVA with Tukey post-hoc test, correlation, and hierarchial analysis using the SPSSWIN program. The results of this research were as follows: First, the results showed that the effects of the interaction of ego-resilience and social supports on school adjustment were different according to the children's gender and age. Second, teacher supports had influence on school life satisfaction, interest in the subject, attitude in class, and observance of school rules according to the children's gender and age. • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the influence of academic institutional interest, open parent-adolescent communication, social (friend) support, and existential spiritual well-being on suicidal ideation of college students. Methods: The research design was descriptive survey research involving 285 college students in city G. Data was collected from May 18, 2011 to November 2, 2011 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The findings reveal that suicidal ideation of college students was low, i.e., average score was $9.2{\pm}3.65$ (possible range 5~25). This study determined that suicidal ideation is negatively correlated with interest on the part of the academic institution, open parent-adolescent communication, social support from friends, and existential spiritual well-being. The extent of existential spiritual well-being was a significant predictor of suicidal ideation, controlling for general characteristics variables (gender, number of close friends, first supporter) and institutional interest, open parent-adolescent communication, and social support. Existential spiritual well-being accounted for 50% of the explanation of suicidal ideation of college students. Conclusion: Based on the outcomes of this study, designing an intervention program that emphasizes existential spiritual well-being in order to decrease suicidal ideation of tertiary education students is strongly recommended.

  • The purpose of this study is to formulate the way of the feminist strategy in Germany which is to change in the process of the globalization in the economic relations. The radical feminism which is the main streaming of german feminism shows a little interest in the role of the german welfare state (social state) to improve the quality of life of women. The german welfare state is, as the feminism says, only a instrument of patriarchy to perpetuate the domination of men over women. The german welfare state has played, but, an important role for the individualization of the relation of women's life which is the first condition for the emancipation of women from the patriarchal domination. That is a result of the interaction between the german welfare state and feminism. The role of the german welfare state for the interest of women is now challenged by the globalization of the economic relations which tries to reduce the standard of social services. The greatest victim of this process is women. Therefore it is necessary for the german feminism to think over the way of his strategy in relation to the german welfare state. The content of this study is as follows: First, the historical background of the german feminism explains how the radical feminism has become the mainstreaming of the german feminism. Seconds, the feminist strategy which rejects the role of the german welfare state for the interest of women has its own limits. Third, the german welfare state has not only developed the ideology of breadwinner but also contributed to the beginning of independent life of woman who were under the control of man. Fourth, the german welfare state is challenged by the economic globalization and being changed by the economic globalization. Fifth, therefore, the feminism has to concentrate to develop a strategy which accepts the limit and the possibility of german welfare state.
