중년남성의 분노, 심혈관 건강과 우울의 관계: 사회적지지의 매개효과 (Anger, Cardiovascular Health and Depression in Middle-aged Korean Men: the Mediating Effect of Social Support)

  • Purpose: A descriptive correlational study was designed to examine the relationship of trait anger and anger expression to blood pressure, cholesterol, and depression in middle-aged Korean men. In addition, this study investigated the mediating effect of social support in relation to anger and other variables. Methods: Two hundred and ninety nine men aged 40 to 64 years were recruited from a health center at K University Hospital located in Ansan City, Kyungki province, Korea. The instruments used were Spielberger's state trait anger expression inventory-the Korean version for trait anger and anger expression, Beck's depression inventory for depression, and a Personal resource questionnaire for perceived social support. Results: Men with high trait anger showed significantly higher systolic blood pressure(BP) and diastolic BP The level of cholesterol did not have a significant relationship with trait anger and anger expression. The severity of depression was significantly higher in men with high trait anger or more frequent uses of anger-in or anger-out. The perceived social support had a significant mediating effect in relation to trait anger and depression. Conclusions: Various nursing interventions for managing anger or improving social support need to be developed in a future study.

  • 본 연구에서는 페이스북 접속동기가 페이스북 사용후 대인관계 변화와 페이스북의 지속적 사용의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적으로 부산 및 경남지역 대학생 420명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 확인된 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관계유지를 위한 페이스북 접속동기와 사회적 압력에 의한 페이스북 접속동기가 페이스북 사용후 대인관계변화에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 습관적 이용에 의한 페이스북 접속동기가 페이스북의 지속적 사용의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 관계유지를 위한 페이스북 접속동기와 사회적 압력에 의한 페이스북 접속동기가 사용후 대인관계의 변화를 통하여 간접적으로 페이스북의 지속적 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 관계유지를 위한 페이스북 접속동기와 사회적 압력에 의한 페이스북 접속동기가 페이스북 사용후 대인관계변화를 유발하는 요인으로서 작용할 수 있으며, 관계유지를 위한 페이스북 접속동기와 사회적 압력에 의한 페이스북 접속동기가 페이스북 사용후 대인관계를 변화시켜 페이스북을 지속적으로 사용하게 됨을 밝혔다는 데에 연구의 의의가 있다.

금연홍보 캠페인의 메시지 효과평가 -영상홍보물을 이용한 탐색적 연구- (Evaluation of Anti-Smoking Public Relations Messages -An Exploratory Study On the Effects Using Televised Health Messages-)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 금연홍보 영상물 메시지의 전달방법이 흡연에 대한 신념, 태도, 행동에 어떤 영향을 끼치는지를 탐구하는 것이다. 영상물 제작에서, 정보결손모델, 건강신념모델, 계획된 행동이론, 사회인지 이론을 바탕으로 금연 메시지를 구성하여 이를 실험연구를 통해서 각각의 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 금연 메시지의 효과에 중요한 영향을 끼치는 요소로는 메시지의 측면성, 자아효능감, 규범적 압력이 도출되었고, 이를 바탕으로 한 메시지의 효과를 흡연자와 금연자 집단으로 나눠 이원변량분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 금연자가 양면적 메시지로 구성된 실험물에 노출되었을 때, 그리고 규범적 압력의 메시지가 포함된 실험물에 노출되었을 때 금연효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 흡연여부에 관계없이 규범적 압력이 포함된 실험 영상물이 사회적 흡연 신념을 억제시키는 설득효과가 나타났다. 또한 흡연여부와 관계없이 양면적 메시지와 규범적 압력이 포함된 영상물을 선호하고 있음이 나타났다. 이러한 효과는 자아존중감의 메시지에 노출된 집단에는 나타나지 않았다. 양면적 메시지와 규범적 압력의 메시지의 주효과가 일부 흡연신념을 통해서 나타난 것에 비해서 흡연여부의 주 효과는 통계적으로 의미 있는 결과가 도출되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 흡연자와 비흡연자 간의 흡연태도가 차이가 없음을 의미하는 것인데 이는 흡연자가 금연자와 마찬가지로 담배의 신체위해성이나 심리적, 사회적 이유로 흡연하는 것이 좋지 않다는 것을 인식한 상태에서 흡연을 하고 있음을 보여주는 결과이다. 본 연구의 의의는 금연메시지를 구성하는 이론적 토대에 따라 영상물을 대상으로 한 실험연구를 수행했다는 점으로 향후 실제 금연 캠페인에 적용할 수 있는 메시지 전략도출에 기여를 하였다는 점이다.

성인의 체중조절에 대한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on The Weight Control of Adult)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the subjective opinions related to the weight control by using Q-methodology. Forty four adults were selected for P-sample from July to August, 1998. The collected data were analyzed by PC Quanl program. The results were as follows : There were 5 types of the adult's opinions about the weight control. Type I(Concern about weight control) : This type believes that there is a problem with general social attitudes, but the weight control it self is necessary. Type II(Health conscious) : This type believes that good health is very important and weight control is way of maintaining and improving good health. Type III(Obsessive) : This type believes that weight control is absolutely necessary no matter what it takes including extreme dietary change. Type IV(Influence by social pressure) : This type believes that the external stimulation and help is needed to motivate weight control. Type V(Self control) : This type believes that self determination is necessary regardless of social pressure.

유아의 다중지능, 창의적 가정환경 및 사회인구학적 변인이 유아의 리더십에 미치는 영향 (Multiple Intelligences, Creative Home Environment, Social economic status, and Leadership of Children)

  • 본 연구는 서울 및 수도권에 소재하는 유치원에 다니는 만5세 유아 173명과 그 부모를 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 유아의 리더십에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변인들을 밝힘으로써 유아의 리더십을 증진시키는 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 사회인구학적 변인(출생순위, 모 학력, 모 취업여부, 총수입)에 따른 다중지능, 창의적 가정환경, 유아 리더십의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 유아의 출생순위에서 둘째 이상인 유아가 첫째보다 대인관계지능이 높게 나타났다. 대졸 이상의 학력인 어머니가 전문대 이하 학력인 어머니보다 가족압력이 높았으며, 어머니의 취업유무에 따라서는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 가정의 총소득에 따라서는 월 400만원 이상인 가정의 유아가 논리 수학지능, 자연이해지능, 언어지능, 학습환경, 아동존중에서 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 다중지능, 창의적 가정환경, 유아 리더십의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 하위영역 간에는 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아 리더십에 영향을 미치는 변인과 상대적 영향력을 알아보기 위해 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 총수입, 언어지능, 가족압력이 주도성에 영향을 주었으며, 총수입, 가족압력은 사교성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 다중지능, 대인관계지능, 학습환경이 몰입에 영향을 미쳤으며, 가족압력이 리더십 총점에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Effects of Heat Wave on Body Temperature and Blood Pressure in the Poor and Elderly

  • Objectives: We aimed to investigate the acute effects of heat stress on body temperature and blood pressure of elderly individuals living in poor housing conditions. Methods: Repeated measurements of the indoor temperature, relative humidity, body temperature, and blood pressure were conducted for 20 elderly individuals living in low-cost dosshouses in Seoul during hot summer days in 2010. Changes in the body temperature, systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) according to variations in the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity were analyzed using a repeated-measures ANOVA controlling for age, sex, alcohol, and smoking. Results: Average indoor and outdoor temperatures were $31.47^{\circ}C$ (standard deviation [SD], $0.97^{\circ}C$) and $28.15^{\circ}C$ (SD, $2.03^{\circ}C$), respectively. Body temperature increased by $0.21^{\circ}C$ (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.16 to $0.26^{\circ}C$) and $0.07^{\circ}C$ (95% CI, 0.04 to $0.10^{\circ}C$) with an increase in the indoor and outdoor temperature of $1^{\circ}C$. DBP decreased by 2.05 mmHg (95% CI, 0.05 to 4.05 mmHg), showing a statistical significance, as the indoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$, while it increased by 0.20 mmHg (95% CI, -0.83 to 1.22 mmHg) as outdoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$. SBP decreased by 1.75 mmHg (95% CI, -1.11 to 4.61 mmHg) and 0.35 mmHg (95% CI, -1.04 to 1.73 mmHg), as the indoor and outdoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$, respectively. The effects of relative humidity on SBP and DBP were not statistically significant for both indoor and outdoor. Conclusions: The poor and elderly are directly exposed to heat waves, while their vital signs respond sensitively to increase in temperature. Careful adaptation strategies to climate change considering socioeconomic status are therefore necessary.

  • The purpose of this article is to capture this situation within the changes that take place due to it, inside the Greek society where there is a great need for professional social workers who are able to work targeted and effectively with foreigners, both children and adults, who have or develop mental health problems for the very first time. Over the recent decades the increasing number of migration flows has exerted and continues to exert great pressure on the health system and on the welfare structures of Greece. The bases for the development of a rudimentary reception and integration system that still is in progress have been delayed, while there has been no happy medium, between the enormous pressure that foreigner users of this system put on, and the humanitarian obligation of a well-governed state towards all residents of the country. Straight through everyday clinical practice in the field of intercultural work, social work has the knowledge and techniques for a total management of emerging problems and at the same time provides a value system with an ethical background which approaches refugees and migrants in order to provide quality services, mostly to users of mental health services.

여대생들의 소셜커머스를 통한 음식점과 식품 구매 속성이 만족도와 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Commerce Attributes on the Satisfaction and Repurchasing Intention for a College Women Student according to Restaurant and Food Choices)

  • Social commerce is becoming an increasingly popular shopping method among college women students. This study focuses on the influence of the satisfaction lavels and repurchasing intentions by consumers for restaurant and food choices according to social commerce attributes. In this survey, 351 valid surveys are being used to test the hypothesized (183 users and 168 non-usesr within 6 months), in order to ensure validity and reliability. As a result, factors such as perceived value, product diversity & information, delivery, ordering convenience, site character, price competitiveness, time pressure, and real time information are all being found. Factors of perceived value (p<0.001), price competitiveness (p<0.001), product diversity & information (p<0.05), delivery (p<0.05), and site character (p<0.05) significantly influence the customer satisfaction rates. Factors of perceived value (p<0.001), price competitiveness (p<0.001), time pressure (p<0.001), and site character (p<0.01) significantly influence the repurchasing intentions. In addition, it has been found that the customer satisfaction rates significantly influence repurchase intentions.

가족, 친구, 소셜 미디어 압박이 내면화와 외모 만족도를 통해 성형수술 수용 정도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Family, Friends, and Social Media Pressures on Acceptance of Cosmetic Surgical Procedures via Internalization and Appearance Satisfaction)

  • The popularity of cosmetic procedures has increased over the past decade. Korean consumers have shown different levels of demand for the two types of cosmetic procedures (surgical and nonsurgical). This study examines the effect of appearance pressure from family, friends, and social media on the internalization and face/body satisfaction that can determine the levels of acceptance for each cosmetic procedure among young Korean females. Data was collected from 379 females in their 20s and 30s, using an online survey questionnaire. Statistical analysis were performed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS. The results indicated that only social media pressure significantly influenced young women's internalization of attractive appearance. Internalization was negatively associated with face and body satisfaction. Face satisfaction was negatively related to the acceptance of cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures; however, body satisfaction was not related to the acceptance of cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures. This study highlights the significant importance of social media and its powerful impact on developing young women's body image perceptions.

Social Media Adoption: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises' Perspective in Sri Lanka

  • In this digital age, all organizational environments force businesses to adopt Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) since these technologies have immense impact on such businesses' competitiveness and productivity. Nonetheless, the productivity and the competitiveness enjoyed by such firms vary depending on the size or the organizations, context of the country; developing or developed, and what kinds of technologies are adopted. This investigation focused on small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of Eastern province of Sri Lanka where such studies are scanty. The adoption of social media (SM) by SMEs is inclined to change how organizations operate, this calls for an investigation of the elements that impact SMEs to adopt SM and such investigation. Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework was based to understand the factors. Research approach was quantitative approach using questionnaire survey. Data were collected using online form to see 285 valid responses. Structural Equation Modelling was deployed to evaluate the proposed model. Results revealed that Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity, Observability, Competitive Intensity, Bandwagon Pressure, and Competitive Pressure were influencing, while Trialability, Top Management Support, CEO's Innovativeness did not show statistically significant influence on SMEs' social media adoption.
