소비자의 체면민감성과 아웃도어웨어 구매행동 연구 -과시소비의 매개효과 분석- (The Study of Social-Face Sensitivity and Consumer Purchasing Behavior with Outdoor Wear -Mediating Effect of Conspicuous Consumption-)

  • This study was to explore purchasing behavior and repurchase intention by considering social-face sensitivity and conspicuous consumption. To do this, first, this study tried to explain how consumers had different characteristics for social-face sensitivity, conspicuous consumption, purchasing behavior, and repurchase intention for outdoor wear. Second, this study tested the relationship between consumer behavior (purchasing behavior and repurchase intention) and social-face sensitivity by considering the mediating effect of conspicuous consumption. As the results, first, there was a significant relationship between social-face sensitivity (sensitivity to saving face) and conspicuous consumption, which had a significant effect on the purchasing behavior with outdoor wear(purchase frequency, purchase cost). Second, social-face sensitivity (consciousness of shame) had a significant effect on conspicuous consumption (preference for famous brands, status symbol, pursuing fashion), and social face sensitivity (consciousness of social formality) had a significant effect on conspicuous consumption (preference for famous brands). The relationship between the conspicuous consumption and purchasing behavior showed that conspicuous consumption had significant effects on consumer behavior (purchase frequency, purchase cost). The relationship between the social-face sensitivity and purchasing behavior showed that being conscious of others had a significant effect on purchasing behavior. Third, purchasing behavior with outdoor wear had a significant effect on repurchase intention. Finally, this study confirmed that conspicuous consumption had a partially significant mediating effect on the relationship between social-face sensitivity (sensitivity to saving face) and purchasing behavior.

주부의 여가활동과 여가제약요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Leisure Activities and Their Constraints of Housewives)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the leisure activities of housewives, to identify the factors that influence leisure activities, and to explore the factors contribute to their life satisfaction. So, this study analyses the effects of econo-demographic and socio-cultural variables and of leisure constraint factors on the leisure activities of housewives. And it deals with how these variables and the leisure activities influence life satisfaction of housewives. For these puoposes, 508 housewives residing in Seoul & Daegu were selected for interviews. For data analysis such statistical methods as ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's correlation, adn Multiple Regression Analysis can be summarised. The main findings of the research are as follows: 1. Leisure acivities are classified in Self-developmental, Home-oriented, Time-consuming, Social and Children-concerned types by the technique of factor analysis. The average particiation level was high in Time-consuming type, but low in Self-developmental type. 2. The participation level of leisure activities shows significant differences by selected variables: The Self-developmental type shows significant differences by housewife's education level, income, husband's occupation, role orientation, home management type and leisure constraints. And Children-concerned type was differed to number of family nember, number of children, age of housewife and age of housewife and age of the youngst child. 3. The preference level of leisure activities differ by housewife's education level, income, husband's occupation, home management type and leisure constraints in the Self-developmental and the Social type. And the preference level of Home-oriented leisure activities was high in the middle class of income and husband's occupation. 4. The preference and participation level of leisure activities show differences. And the variables affecting the differences were housewife's age, education level, home management type, role orientation, leisure constraint factors in the Self-developmental type, and were demographic variables such as number of family member, housewife's age in the Home-oriented type. 5. The variables which affected the level of life satisfaction independently were leisure space, income, the participation level of the Self-developmental and the Social type and the preference level of the Self-developmental type.

성인여성의 의복디자인 선호도와 자아개념과의 관계성 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Women's Self-Concept and Preference in Clothing Design)

  • This study was an attempt to survey, the relationships between women's self-concept and preference in clothing design. For the measurement of the self-concept scale was to select the somatic self and the social self which were explained Jung Won Sik's. The preference rate in clothing design consists of 58 items and 3 factors. (color, form, and texture). The questionnaires were administered to a sample of women (between the ages of 20 and 50) who lived in Seoul, Korea. The data for 658 respondents were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient, $x^2$-test, F-test and Duncan-test. Through this study, the followings were founds: 1. There were significant relations between the self-concept and the preference for clothing color in value, chroma and warmth. 2. There were no significant relations between the self-concept and the preference for clothing form in line, silhouette and style. 3. There were significant relations between the self-concept and the preference for texture in touch, thickness, weight and luster. 4. There were significant differences in the preference of clothing design according to their age. That was largely devided into two groups; one's 20' s and the others 30's$\~$40's.

특급호텔의 브렌드 이미지가 조리전공 학생들의 산학실습기대도 및 만족도, 취업성향에 미치는 영향 (The Contribution of Hotel Brand Image on Expectation and Satisfaction for Internship and Job Preference of Students Majoring in Culinary Art)

  • This study was designed to evaluate the effects of hotel brand image on the job preference of students majoring in culinary art through the relationship between hotel brand image and internship satisfaction and internship expectation. The effects were also examined on the personal job preference and job potential as career to the internship. To analyze the proposed hypotheses, a survey questionnaire comprising 61 statements was administered to students majoring in culinary art in colleges located in Seoul and Gyunggi-do. Out of 450 respondents, 420 questionnaires were collected (93.3%) and 411 (91.3%) were analyzed using the statistical package SPSS 12.0. The following results were obtained. First, the regression analysis results for the correlation between hotel brand image and internship confirmed a significant effect of hotel brand image on the satisfaction of internship for students majoring culinary art. Second, according to the correlation results for the internship and job preference, both satisfaction and expectation on internship greatly affected the student's job preference. On the relationship between hotel brand image and internship expectation, the social image of the hotels provided a major contribution to the internship expectation. As well as the internship expectations, the hotel brand image was strongly related with the job preference.

과업지향정도 및 선호하는 화면크기가 비디오 피드백 기능 선호도에 미치는 영향: 사회불안의 조절된 매개효과 검증 (The Influence of Task Orientation and Preferred Self-View Size on Self-View Preference: Testing the Moderated Mediating Effect of Social Anxiety)

  • 화상회의 시스템 사용자 증가 및 기술 발전으로 인해, 화상회의 사용맥락과 화상회의 인터페이스 레이아웃이 다양해졌다. 사회불안은 화상회의 소통상황에도 영향을 주는데, 대면소통과 구별되는 요소인 비디오 피드백과 밀접한 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 비디오 피드백은 상대방에게 보이는 본인의 모습을 화상회의 시스템 인터페이스에 표시해주는 기능이다. 비디오 피드백은 업무 성과를 저해하고 피로감을 유발하는 것으로 알려졌으나, 화상회의 시스템에서 기본 기능으로 설정되어 있고 사용자들에게 보편적으로 선호된다. 본 연구는 과업지향정도, 비디오 피드백 화면크기, 사회불안이 비디오 피드백 선호도에 미치는 영향을 보기 위해 실시되었다. 연구는 온라인 설문으로 진행되었고, 설문 참가자는 화상회의 중 과업지향정도, 사회불안수준, 선호하는 비디오 피드백 화면크기, 비디오 피드백 기능 선호도를 평가하는 문항에 응답하였다. 연구 결과, 비디오 피드백 화면크기는 과업지향정도와 비디오 피드백 선호도를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 과업지향정도가 높을수록 작은 비디오 피드백 화면크기를 선호하였고, 이는 비디오 피드백 선호도 감소로 이어졌다. 한편, 사회불안수준에 따른 비디오 피드백 화면크기의 매개효과 차이는 유의미하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 사용자와 화상회의 시스템의 상호작용에 대한 이해에 도움을 주어 화상회의 시스템 디자인에 활용될 수 있는 정보를 제공한다.

컨텐츠 유통 플랫폼에서 이용자 참여와 생산자 반응의 적합성 효과에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Congruency between User Participation and Producer Response on User Generated Content)

  • Purpose - This study's objective is to analyze the content of the communications between users and producers based on the construal level theory. User generated content refers to content created in an online-based service where users and producers communicate interactively with each other. In a user generated content platform, the messages sent and received between the many players, the users and producers who use the content, may be analyzed at the psychological level based on construal level theory. Research design, data, and methodology - This study gathered user and producer participation through a snow-bowling sampling method. The data analyzed includes 125 video clips and 2,912 comments. The period of the data collection was from September 2014 to December 2014. The collected data was analyzed using a t-test and two-way ANOVA. Results - This study obtained the following research results. First, users who were a short social distance from producers responded to user participatory activities stated in concrete language rather than abstract language. In contrast, users who were at a longer social distance from producers tended to respond to the content requesting user participation through abstract language. Second, if users and producers were at a short social distance from each other, user preference increased more when a producer response to user participation was expressed concretely rather than when it was expressed abstractly. In contrast, if the users were at a longer social distance, users' preferences increased more when producer response was expressed abstractly rather than when it was expressed concretely. Conclusion - This study found that the effect of suitability, in which the social distance and the content were in congruence at the construal level, could be observed. Therefore, based on this, academic and practical implications were drawn. The three main insights of the study are as follows. First, firms can use psychological factors to analyze the message content of users in their distribution platforms. This study reveals managerial implications for marketing managers who want to take make use of this analysis of user and producer communications. This study indicates that the main factors include the concrete and abstract scores and social distance between users and producers. Second, we also provide the strategic guidelines to maximizing user preferences and other outcomes. The main dependent variable in this study is the user preference shift; the variable increases through the congruence effect; and the construal level is determined by the social distance between the users and producers and the type of producer response. The outcomes here from users can be utilized to develop several systemic strategies. One process to use the outcomes could be: (1) firms could measure the users and producers social distance; (2) calculate the concreteness or abstractness of the messages; and, (3) predict the user preference outcomes by the congruence between user and producer social distance and the abstractness or concreteness of the message content.

공공투자사업 평가의 적정 사회적할인율 추정에 관한 연구 (Study on Estimation of the Appropriate Social Discount Rate for Evaluating Public Investment Project)

  • 공공투자사업평가 시 사회적할인율의 높고 낮음에 따라 비용 편익분석의 결과가 상이하다는 점에서 적정 수치는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 그리고 사회적할인율의 개념을 무엇으로 적용하는 것이 합리적인지에 대한 많은 논란과 연구가 현재까지 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사회적할인율의 개념을 크게 세 가지 사회적 시간선호율, 사회적 투자수익률 그리고 이 둘을 가중평균 한 값으로 구분하였다. 추정방법으로는 사회적 시간선호율의 경우 소비이자율과 Pearce and Ulph식을 사용하였고, 사회적 투자수익률은 민간 총 자본 수익률을 사용하였다. 그리고 가중평균은 투자의 잠재가격을 이용한 Squire, L., Herman G. van der Tak식과 공공투자와 대치되는 민간투자와 민간 소비지출비율을 이용하여 추정하였다. 본 연구에서는 현재 시점의 사회적할인율을 추정하기 위해 연대구분을 1990년대, 2000년~2003년, 2004년~2008년으로 각각 구분한 후, 과거 한국개발연구원에서 제시된 1999년 7.5%, 2004년 6.5%, 그리고 2007년~현재 5.5%와 각각 비교하였다. 추정결과는 1990년대 6.6~10.7%, 2000년~2003년 4.0~7.0%, 2004년~2008년 2.4~3.9%로 각각 추정되었다. 현재 공공투자 사업평가에 사용되고 있는 사회적할인율 5.5%는 본 연구의 추정결과 보다 약1.6~3.1% 높은 것으로 나타났다. IMF이후 급격하게 하락한 소비이자율은 계속적으로 낮아지고 있고 앞으로도 지속될 것으로 예측하고 있다. 따라서 공공투자 사업의 목적인 현 세대부터 장래세대까지 모두를 고려한 사회적 자원의 재분배를 실현시키기 위해 선 현재의 사회적할인율은 점차 하향조정할 필요가 있다.

정치제도가 사회정책의 발전에 미치는 효과에 관한 비교 연구 (Comparative Patterns of Political Institutions and Social Policy Developments)

  • 이 연구는 사회정책의 결과는 사회성원들의 사회정책 선호를 집합적인 의사결정으로 전환하는 기제, 즉 정치제도의 차이와 관련된다는 이론모형을 경험적으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 중위특성을 가진 사회성원이 사회정책을 선호한다고 하더라도 그러한 선호를 집합적으로 모으는 제도적 장치가 어떻게 작동하느냐에 따라 사회정책의 결과는 달라질 수 있다는 것이다. 분석결과 사회정책에 대한 직능제약 선호만 놓고 보면 일본과 한국은 조정시장경제로 분류되는 다른 국가들 못지않다. 하지만 일본과 한국은 조정시장경제나 자유시장경제로 분류되는 다른 국가들에 비해 민주주의 정치제도의 발전정도가 상대적으로 낙후되어 있으며, 노동인구를 표적집단으로 하는 사회정책 프로그램의 발전 정도 또한 낮다. 이러한 비교양상은 사회성원들의 선호를 집합적 의사 결정의 바탕으로 삼는 민주주의 정치제도의 낙후성이 사회성원들의 사회정책 선호와 실제 사회정책 발전 사이의 괴리라는 현상과 관련될 가능성을 보여준다. 한편 민주주의 정치제도가 어느 정도 발전해 있는 국가들 사이에서는 사회정책에 대한 사회성원들의 직능제약 선호의 차이 뿐 아니라, 선거규칙이라는 정치제도의 측면에서도 차이가 발견된다. 결국 16개 국가들의 종합적 양상은 사회성원들의 사회정책 선호와 그것을 집합적으로 모으는 정치제도, 그리고 실제 사회정책 발전 사이에는 밀접한 관계가 존재함을 보여준다.

뉴시니어 라이프스타일과 의복구매기준이 아웃도어 의류제품 디자인 선호도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of New Seniors' Lifestyle and Apparel Purchase Criteria on Design Preference of Outdoor Apparel Products)

  • This research aimed to identify the characteristics of outdoor apparel market for new seniors. To achieve this goal, influence of new seniors' lifestyle and apparel purchase criteria of design preferences of outdoor apparel products were investigated. An online-survey was conducted targeting fifties who have bought outdoor apparel within one year. The collected data were carried out for factor analysis, independent sample T-test, and regression analysis by using SPSS 22.0. Results showed that new seniors' lifestyles were composed of appearance-orientation, well-being diet, well-being exercise, self-development, and challenge-orientation. Purchase criteria of outdoor apparels were factored out as practical, aesthetic, and social. Appearance -orientation and self-development affect aesthetic and social factors. Well-being diet influences all factors of purchase criteria. Challenge -orientation has effect only on social factor. Women favored round-and V-neckline more than men did as well as preferred half and 3/4 long for sleeve. Customers who value practical purchase criteria preferred half-sleeve, zipper, and button-closure designs. In contrast, customers who have aesthetic purchase criteria like round/V-neckline and cap sleeve. Social factor affected high neckline and vivid-tone color preference significantly. As outdoor design for new senior it is critical to introduce differentiation of outdoor brand with various designs combining functionalities of outdoor activities and style looking young and dandy, which is highlighted as trendy and casual, over current outdoor apparels' unified design.

부산지역 주부의 외식행동에 관한 조사연구 (A Survey on housewives' dining-out behaviour in Pusan)

  • To study the dining-out behaviour of housewives, the frequency, food preference, expense for dining-out in social meeting, family gathering, daily meal were surveyed with a total of 454 housewives in Pusan. (1) In the frequency of dining-out, once or twice a month shows highest percentage, 59.7% and 45.8% for social meeting and family gathering respectively. The occasion of dining-out for the daily meal is less than 1 or 2 time per 6 month (62.6%). The frequency of dining-out is highly dependent on demographic variables such as age, academic background, family income, car ownership. (2) The preference for Korean dishes is found to be top in all occasions for dining-out. And then for the social meeting, chinese food, western style food, japanese cuisine and fast food are prefered in order, while western style food and chinese cuisine are rather prefered than japanese cuisine and fast food in occasion for family gathering. When they dine out just for daily meal, korean food is prefered first and preference for chinese food, western style food, fast food is followed in order. Japanese cuisine is prefered the last. (3) Housewives answered highly that the expense they spend for dining-out for social meeting (45.8%) or family fathering (46.8%) is 5,000 to 10,000 won per person. For these occasions, the expense is different with family income. Namely, if their income is higher than 3,000,000 won, they usually spend 10,000 to 15,000 won for the occasion. And for the daily dining-out, 34.7% respondents answered that they spend 2,000 to 3,000 won.
