임부 및 모유수유부와 가임기 여성의 건강행태 비교 (Comparison of Health-related Behaviors in Pregnant Women and Breast-feeding Mothers vs Non-pregnant Women)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess health-related behavior of pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers by investigating relevant risk factors. Methods: Data of 10,396 women (age 19 to 49 years) from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey report from 2007 to 2012 was used to analyze factors associated with health-related behavior. The subjects were divided into pregnant women; breastfeeding mothers; and non-pregnant women. Bottle feeding mothers were excluded. Results: Current smoking rate including self-reported smoker and/or positive cotinine urine test were lower for pregnant or breast-feeding group than non-pregnant group. Heavy-drinking was not different among groups while monthly drinking rate was higher in non-pregnant group. Rate of stress recognition was lower in pregnant and breast-feeding group than non-pregnant group. Rate of experience for depressive symptoms and rate of suicidal ideation were not different among groups. Conclusion: Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers maintain a good pattern of health- related behavior compared to non-pregnant women. However, substantial proportion of pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers continue to drink and smoke. This shows the need for a plan that will modify health-related behavior.

일 지역 고등학생의 흡연경험 관련 요인 (Factors Related to Smoking Behavior among High School Students)

  • Purpose: The study investigated factors related to the smoking behavior among 639 high school students in Geoje, Korea. Methods: Data collected by self-reported questionnaires was analyzed by the SPSS WIN 14.0 program with Chi-test, t-test, and multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: Smoking behavior differed by gender (p=.002), school type (p=.001), experience with alcohol consumption (p=.005), family harmony (p=.003), father's smoking (p=.001), academic achievement (p=.010), self-esteem (p=.010), stress (p=.004), and attitude to smoking (p=.0001). Smoking behavior was significantly associated with gender (odds ratio (OR)=0.66, 95% confidence interval (CI)=0.46-0.95), school type (OR=1.52, 95% CI=1.03-2.23), experience with alcohol consumption (OR=0.56, 95%CI= 0.39-0.82), academic achievement (OR=1.98, 95-I=1.20-3.29), attitude to smoking (OR= 0.76, 95%CI=0.69-0.84) and father's smoking (OR=1.59, 95%CI=1.11-2.29). Conclusion: Anti-smoking programs for high school students should especially consider those at higher risk (males in vocational high school with no drinking experience of drinking, lower academic achievement, favorable attitude to smoking, and whose fathers smoke). Community efforts to reduce adult smoking would be advantageous.

일부 대학생의 비만도와 건강행동, 구강건강행동 및 구강보건지식과의 관계 (The relationship between body mass index and health behavior, oral health behavior and oral health knowledge in some university student)

  • Objectives: We would like to manage university student's health factors by researching the connection between BMI and oral health and behavior of university students. And provide basic data by integrating for weight management programs that target overweight people can improve oral health. Methods: Self-evaluation questionnaires were surveyed for 315 students who agreed to participate in the survey, using questionnaires used in the preceding study were modified and complemented. We analyzed the data with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, chi-square test와 ANOVA, Spearman correlation coefficient by using IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). The significance level for significance was set at 0.05. Results: People who smoke and alcohol drink have a lower score in their oral health behavior and oral health knowledge than those who do not. There was a significant difference between the BMI group, in the oral health behavior and oral health knowledge scores. BMI and smoking (r=0.230, p<0.001), alcohol drinking (r=0.121, p<0.05) were significant positive correlation. BMI and sleep time (r=-0.127, p<0.05), oral health behaviors (r=-0.133, p<0.001) were significant negative correlation. oral health behaviors and oral health knowledge (r=0.344, p<0.001) were significant positive correlation. Conclusion: Schools and communities will need to be educated about smoking and drinking, while at the same time developing programs that can improve oral health by integrating weight management programs.

코로나19 팬데믹 전후 청소년의 건강행태 비교: 2019~2020 청소년 건강행태 온라인조사를 이용한 2차 자료분석 (Health Behavior Changes in Korean Adolescents before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Secondary Data Analysis of the 2019~2020 Youth Health Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate health behavior changes in Korean adolescents before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional design was employed. Data were obtained from the 15~16th (2019~2020) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. Overall, the data of 112,251 students, 57,303 before the COVID pandemic and 54,948 during the pandemic, were included. The data were analyzed using rao-scott 𝝌2-test, t-test, ANCOVA and logistic regression analysis. Results: While sitting time for study decreased, sitting time for leisure increased in the 2020 group compared to the 2019 group. The 2020 group was more likely to skip breakfast and have a higher BMI than the 2019 group. The 2020 group was less likely to consume fruit and engage in moderate and vigorous physical activities than the 2019 group. The 2020 group was less likely to engage in CC, EC, and HTP current smoking and be exposed to secondhand smoke at home, school, and public places than the 2019 group. The 2020 group was more likely to be satisfied with sleep, but less likely to experience stress, depression, suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicidal attempts than the 2019 group. Conclusion: It is necessary to reduce sedentary time, encourage physical activities, manage smoking and drinking rates continuously, and establish a network system to prevent psychological loneliness and isolation for adolescents, which requires participation of experts from the community as a whole.

종합병원 방사선사의 건강증진행위 관련요인 분석 (Analysis of Influencing Factors Related to Health Promotion Behavior in Hospital Radiological Technologists)

  • 연구목적 : 방사선사의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 바람직한 건강관리에 도움을 주고, 향후 방사선사의 건강증진 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 종합병원에 근무하는 방사선사 총 234명을 대상으로 건강지각과 건강증진행위에 대한 설문조사를 시행하였다. 건강지각에 대한 설문은 현재 건강, 건강관심, 민감성 등 총 20문항이었고, Cronbach's $\alpha$는 0.79였다. 건강증진행위의 설문은 자아실현, 건강책임, 운동, 영양, 대인관계지지, 스트레스 관리 등 총 47문항이었고, Cronbach's $\alpha$값은 0.93이었다. 건강증진행위와 관련이 있는 단변량 분석은 평균비교분석(t-test, ANOVA)을 하였고, 건강지각 요인과 건강증진행위와의 관련성은 상관분석(Pearson's Correlation Coefficient) 을 하였다. 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인은 단계별 다중회귀분석(Stepwise Multiple Regression)을 시행 하였다. 연구결과 : 일반적 특성 중 건강증진행위와 관련 있는 요인은 연령, 결혼, 연봉, 직급, 경력, 고용, 종교 등이었고, 건강생활습관 관련 특성 중 건강증진행위와 관련이 있는 요인은 흡연유무, 운동여부 등이었다. 대상자의 건강증진행위 수행정도는 평균 2.90점, 표준편차 0.37이었다. 민감성, 건강관심, 현재건강 등으로 구분한 건강지각 요인과 건강증진행위와의 상관관계는 각각 양의 상관관계가 있었다(p<0.01). 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 민감성, 현재건강, 운동여부, 흡연유무, 근무경력 등이었고, 건강지각 요인 중 민감성이 가장 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 건강지각에 대한 민감성, 현재건강 점수가 높을수록 건강증진행위 점수가 높았고, 규칙적으로 운동하는 군, 과거흡연군, 근무경력이 높은 군에서 건강증진행위점수가 높았다. 결 론 : 방사선사가 건강증진행위에 대한 점수를 높이려면 먼저 스스로의 건강에 대해 지각하고, 병에 걸리지 않으려는 노력이 필요하며, 건강한 생활을 추구하여야 한다. 또한 근무 경력과 년차에 관계없이 금연과 규칙적으로 운동을 하는 것이 반드시 필요하다.

경기일부지역 고등학생의 흡연실태와 식습관 (Smoking Status and Dietary Habit of High School Students in Kyunggi Area)

  • There are many concerns about the smoking among adolescents. Smoking status, smoking habit and dietary habit of high school students were studied using anonymous questionnaires. One hundred fifteen of 380 students(30.3%) have experienced smoking and 58.3% of them initiated it in the middle school, mostly because of the curiosity. The most plausible reasons for smoking were for stress reduction and feel bored. The students who smoked cigarettes were not likely to eat properly and their dietary habits were generally inadequate. The smoking group had less consideration of food balance, more skipping breakfast, more irregular meal time, less snack, and less frequent intake of vegetables. Also one-day dietary records obtained from 24hr recall showed less diverse food intake in smoking students. Considering the risk of poor eating behavior in smoking, nutritional care should be taken to emphasize as well as the smoking prevention and health programs, and more attention needs to be given to the relationship between smoking and the attitude and the behavior of smoking students toward their health, including proper eating habits. Since the results revealed that the majority of smoking students had previously attempted or thought about quitting to smoke, proper support programs that are more comprehensive and not temporal need to be developed.

다문화가정 청소년의 가족유형에 따른 건강행태 (A Study on the Health Risk Behaviors of Adolescents from Multicultural Families according to the Parents' Migration Background)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare health risk behaviors among adolescents according to whether or not the parents were born in South Korea. Methods: From the database of the ninth Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYRBS), the researchers classify adolescents into four groups: those whose parents were both native Korean, those whose mother only was a native Korean, those whose father only was a native Korean, and those whose parents were both foreign-born. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test and multiple logistic regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The adolescents with a foreign-born mother were less likely to smoke and drink alcohol than those with native Korean parents, but for other health risk behaviors the two groups were similar to each other. The adolescents with a foreign-born father were at a greater risk of drug use, intercourse, depression and violence at school than those with native Korean parents. The adolescents whose parents were born abroad were at a greater risk of smoking, drug use, intercourse, depression, suicidal ideation and violence at school than those with native Korean parents. Conclusion: Health promotion approaches differentiated by the type of multi-cultural family are needed in order to improve multi-cultural adolescents' health.

저 레이놀즈수에서 정지된 에어포일의 경계층 및 근접 후류 가시화 연구 (Visualization Study on the Boundary Layer and Near-Wake of a Stationary Airfoil at Low Reynolds Numbers)

  • A visualization study on the boundary layer and near-wake of an NACA 0012 airfoil was con-ducted in order to investigate the influence of boundary layer behavior on the near-wake at low Reynolds numbers. The present study is investigated at static angles of attack ${\alpha}=0^{\circ},\;3^{\circ},\;6^{\circ}$ and $Re=2.3{\times}10^4,\;3.3{\times}10^4,\;4.8{\times}10^4$ by using a smoke-wire technique. The results of this study show that the laminar boundary layer on the airfoil surface is attached to the surface at ${\alpha}=0^{\circ}$, and that laminar separation of boundary layer on the airfoil surface occurs at ${\alpha}=3^{\circ}$. Furthermore, reattachment of the boundary layer occurs in the case of ${\alpha}=6^{\circ}$. In the current study, the location of the laminar separation point moves upstream as the Reynolds number and the angle of attack increase.

Magnetization Behavior of Ultra-thin FexCo1-x Alloy on Cr (100) Surface

  • Magnetization behavior of ultra thin $Fe_xCo_{1-x}$ alloy (where x varies from 0 to 100) has been investigated as functions of composition on Cr (100) substrate by using in situ surface magneto optical Kerr effect (SMOKE). It's always show in plane uniaxial magnetic anisotropy at room temperature (RT) & Low temperature (LT). It is observed that composition dependent coercive force maximum at about 30 at % Co and 70 at % Co atomic ratio and minimum near equiatomic site. The relative magnetic moments as composition variation also show magnetization collapse near equiatomic site. The magnetization behaviors of Fe-Co alloy on Cr (100) due to composition varies are supported the order-disordering as well as structural stability bcc (ferromagnetic)/fcc (anti-ferromagnetic) phase stability magnetism.

알레르기 환자의 현황 및 영양상태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Nutritional Status of Allergic Patients and Food allergens in Korea)

  • This study was designed to investigate clinical features, allergy-inducing substances as well as foods, and nutritional behavior of allergic patients. Sixty-eight adult male and 78 adult female patients were surveyed by using the self-developed questionnairs. The results were as follows: 1. The common target organs of allergic symptoms included bronchus, skin and nose. 2. 37.7% of the subjects did not recognize their allergy inducing substances. Among the known substances, house-dust mite, food, temperature and weather change, pollens, smoke, air pollution materials, drugs and even stress provoked symptoms. 3. As for the food allergy, a number of foods were found to be implicated in allergic reactions. These foods included pork, chicken, seafoods such as mackerel, crab & shrimp, milk, egg, peanut, apple and pupa. Symptoms and signs of food reactions included urticaria, asthma, and rhinitis. 4. The nutrition adequacy ratio (NAR) of energy was below 0.75 for male patients and about 0.80 for female patients. And 24.0% of the subjects were regarded as excellent, 31.5% as fair, and 44.5% as poor in food related behavior evaluation.
