한의학 고문헌 텍스트에서의 인용문 추정과 탐색 (Detecting Local Text Reuse in the Texts of East Asian Traditional Medicine)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this paper was to examine quantitative methods for estimating and detecting local text reuse in the texts of East Asian Traditional Medicine. Methods : We introduce techniques that estimate the volume of local text reuse with n-gram and those that directly detect the reuse with the Smith-Waterman algorithm (SW algorithm). Based on this, the estimation and detection of local text reuse were carried out for 『Donguibogam』 and 『Huangdineijing·Suwen』. Results : Estimates with n-gram had more errors than methods with SW algorithms. SW algorithms detected suspected strings directly with local text reuse, resulting in more accurate results. Conclusions : Although n-gram does not accurately find local text reuse, its high speed makes it a preferable method for certain purposes, such as screening similar documents. On the other hand, SW algorithms have the advantage of being relatively good at finding similar phrases suspected as local text reuse even if the strings do not completely match. However, due to its excessive consumption of time and computing resources, its benefits are limited to cases where precise results are required.

자유수면하에서 이동하는 2차원 수중익 주위의 비선형 유동특성 (Nonlinear Flow Characteristics of Two-Dimensional Hydrofoils moving below the Free surface)

  • 본 논문에서는 자유수면하에서 이동하는 2차원 수중익 주위의 비선형 유동문제를 포텐셜 이론을 바탕으로 특이점 분포법을 도입하여 해석한 결과이다. Hess & Smith[12]의 방법에 따라 수중익의 표면에 소오스와 보텍스패널을 분포하고, 비선형해를 구하기 위해서 자유수면 위 일정 거리에 랜킨소오스패널(Rankine Source Panel)을 분포하는 수치기법(Raised Panel Method)을 사용하였다. Neumann-Kelvin 선형해로부터 반복계산법을 통해 비선형 자유수면 조건을 엄밀히 만족하는 비선형해를 구하였다. 수치계산결과에서 비선형해가 Duncan[11]의 실험결과(NACA0012, 입사각$(\alpha)= 5^{\circ}$)와 비교적 잘 일치함을 보였으며 수치계산결과의 타당성을 검증할 수 있었다. 잠수깊이가 얕은 경우와 고속 영역에서도 수렴된 해를 구할 수 있었으며, 고속으로 갈수록 비선형해와 선형해의 차이는 미미함을 볼 수 있었다. 수중익의 두께 및 캠버(camber)등 기본적인 단면변화와 속도변화에 대한 수중익의 유체역학적 특징을 살펴보았다.

박리유동장에서 저속 익형의 공기역학적 성능해석 (An Aerodynamic Performance Analysis of the Low-Speed Airfoils in Seperated Flow Field)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a method for predicting the aerodynamic performance of the subsonic airfoils in the 2-dimensional, steady and viscous flow. For this study, the airfoil geometry is specified by adopting the longest chord line system and by considering local surface curvature. In case of the inviscid-incompressible flow, the analysis is accomplished by the linearly varying strength vortex panel method and the Karman-Tsien correction law is applied for the inviscid-compressible flow analysis. The Goradia's integral method and the Truckenbrodt integral method are adopted for the boundary layer analysis of the laminar flow and the turbulent flow respectively. Viscous and inviscid solutions are converged by the Lockheed iterative calculating method using the equivalent airfoil geometry. And the analysis of the seperated flow is performed using the Dvorak and Maskew's method as the basic method. The wake effect is also considered and its geometry expressed by the formula of Summey & Smith when no seperation occurs. A computational efficiency is verified by the comparison of the computational results with experimental data and by the shorter execution time.

The Damped Outrigger - Design and Implementation

  • The use of outriggers with dampers (the damped outrigger concept) has been shown to be a cost effective method of adding structural damping to a high rise building, and has been described in previous work by the author. This paper further develops the methods used to design such systems and highlights lessons learned in their application. This includes calculation methods, a review of subsequent research from others, and discussions regarding code-compliance.

  • A new integral controller is proposed for time-delay plants. The proposed controller has Davison type structure and utilizes a simplified state predictor instead of the optimal state predictor for the extended system. The simplified predictor is introduced by a trick similar to that used in the Smith predictor. As a systematic method for designing the proposed controller, the application of the loop transfer recovery (LTR) technique is considered. For the plant input side and the output side, explicit representations of the sensitivity matrices achieved by enforcing the formal LTR procedure using Riccati equations are obtained.   • In this paper, A dead-time compensator (DTC) for the processes with long dead-time is proposed. The processes which consist of dead-time, time-constant, gain are estimated by the linear least squares method in the frequency domain. A Smith predictor(SP) modified by including a filter becomes a two degree of freedom DTC. So the proposed DTC can yield the desirable setpoint and load disturbance responses separately. PI controller is used for the primary controller and the filter is tuned to be robust. Simulation examples demonstrate the properties of the proposed DTC.

  • An approximate Bayes criterion for multivariate Behrens-Fisher problem is proposed and examined. Development of the criterion involves derivation of approximate Bayes factor using the imaginary training sample approach introduced by Speigelhalter and Smith (1982). The criterion is designed to develop a Bayesian test, so that it provides an alternative test to other tests based upon asymptotic sampling theory (such as the tests suggested by Bennett(1951), James(1954) and Yao(1965). For the derived criterion, numerical studies demonstrate routine application and give comparisons with the classical tests.

  • This research shows that fuzzy set theory can be useful in modeling and solving flow shop scheduling problems with uncertain processing times and illustrates a method for solving job sequencing problem which the opinions of experts disagree in each processing time. In this study, FCDS (Fuzzified Campbell-Dudek-Smith) algorithm and FNEH (Fuzzified Nawaz-Enscope-Ham) algorithm are proposed to improve the fuzzified Branch & Bound algorithm that requires long run-time and computational complexities to find the optimal sequence. These proposed algorithms are also designed to treat opinions of experts. In this paper, Fuzzy processing times are expressed as triangular fuzzy numbers and comparison method use Lee-Li method and ranking method based on the dominance property. On the basis of the proposed method, an example is presented.

흡음재의 특성임피던스와 전파상수의 새로운 결정방법 (A New Method for Measuring Characteristic Impedance and Propagation Constant of Sound-Absorbing Materials)

  • A new method is presented to determine two fundamental acoustic quantities of sound-absorbing materials such as characteristic impedance and propagation constant. In this study, the surface acoustic impedances of sound-absorbing materials are measured using the impedance tube and the anechoic chamber to determine the above acoustic quantities. The measured results are given for two typical sound-absorbing materials(glass wool and urethane foam) int the frequency range between 150 and 1, 600 Hz. The results are verified by other two known methods, which are Smith & Parrott method and Utsuno et al. method. The absorption coefficients calculated from the empirical models(Miki model for glass wool and Jung model for urethane foam) and two quantities by present method are in good agreement with the measured values.
