중소해양도시 크루즈관광 여건 및 활성화 방안: 여수시를 중심으로 (The Current State and Promotional Strategies for Ocean Cruise Tourism in Small and Medium-sized Ocean Cities, - Focused on Yeosu -)

  • 최근 우리나라에 기항하는 국제해양크루즈가 급증하면서 크루즈관광 활성화에 대한 정부와 지자체의 관심이 고조되고 있으나, 우리나라의 크루즈관광 정책과 시설확충 계획은 부산, 인천, 제주 등 크루즈 기항실적이 많은 도시의 거점항 위주로 이루어지는 경향이 있다. 하지만 연근해를 대표하는 중소해양도시의 지역항도 크루즈관광 매력을 갖추고 크루즈 유치를 위해 노력하고 있으므로 이들 도시의 크루즈관광 활성화를 위한 지원도 필요하다. 본 연구는 우리나라 중소해양도시의 크루즈관광 여건을 살펴보고 중소해양도시의 크루즈관광 활성화 방안을 모색하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 항만 서비스, 교통 접근성과 도시 편의성, 관광활동 지원 분야에 대한 개선방안과 이를 위한 공공과 민간 등의 역할을 제시하였다. 사례연구 지역으로 전라남도 여수시를 선정하여 중소해양도시의 여건과 개선방안, 그리고 거점항과의 차이를 분석하였다. 크루즈 기항항이 되기 위해서는 거점항과 지역항의 차이가 없이 크루즈관광과 관련된 전 분야에서 많은 개선 노력이 이루어져야 한다. 특히 중소해양도시에 속한 지역항은 모항으로 성장할 가능성이 낮기 때문에 기항항으로 선정되는데 초점을 둔 정책과 관광 프로그램 개발이 추진되어야 한다.

부산.김해지역 중소제조업체의 수출물류비 현황분석 및 절감방안 연구 (Export Logistics of Small-medium Sized Manufacturers in Busan Kimhae Area)

  • In this study, for purpose of searching for measures to lower the logistics costs which is one of the most difficulties for the small-medium sized manufacturers in Pusan and Kimhae, those manufacturers were surveyed with questionnaire about the facts in the export logistics costs, difficulties related to the costs, and measures they thought for lowering the cost. Taking account of findings from the survey, the comprehensive measures of saving the export logistics costs were to be proposed. In the surveyed manufacturers, the problems they thought over export logistics costs lied in short logistics information and transportation-related difficulties in cargo and distribution, insufficient standardization in packaging and the shortage of material handling equipments in unloading. In transportation, frequent non-fulfillment of in-time shipment, cost increase including over consumption of transportation time due to traffic jam, and the biased heavy use of inland transportation were pointed out as problems. In customs clearance, logistics information, and marine insurance, addressed were complexity in custom clearance and bonded transportation procedures, and the shortage of software and hardware to construct logistics information system.

  • In this paper, we propose the improved structure of fully interconnected ATM Switch to develop the small sized switch element and represent practical implementation of switch network. As the part II of the full study about structure and implementation of fully interconnected ATM Switch, this paper especially describes the implementation of an ATM switching element with 8 input port and 8 output port at 155 Mbits/sec each. The single board switching element is used as a basic switching block in a small sized ATm switch for ATM LAN Hub and customer access node. This switch has dedicated bus in 12 bit width(8 bit data + 4 bit control signal) at each input and output port, bit addressing and cell filtering scheme. In this paper, we propose a practical switch architecture with fully interconnected buses to implement a small-sized switch and to provide multicast function withoutany difficulty. The design of switching element has become feasible using advanced CMOS technology and Embedded Gate Array technology. And, we also represent Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) of Switch Output Multiplexing Unit(SOMU) and 12 layered Printed Circuit Board for interconnection network of switch.

  • This paper is the part I of the full study about improved structure of fully interconnected ATM switch to develop the small sized switch element and practical implemention of switch network. This part I paper describes about proposed switch structure, performance evaluations and some of considerations to practical implementation. The proposed structure is constructed of two step buffering scheme in a filtered multiplexer. First step buffering is carried out by small sized dedicated buffers located at each input port. And second step buffering is provided by a large sized common buffer at the output port. To control bursty traffic, we use speed up factor in multiplexing and priority polling according to the levels of buffer occupancy. Proposed structure was evaluated by computer simulation with two evaluation points. One is comparision of multiplexing discipline between hub polling and priority polling. The ogher is overall which should be considered to improve the practical implementation.

  • The core of this research studies the strategic alliance of airlines, container shipping liners, and port operators that have shown successful results through the recent differentiated strategic Alliance Network, although a difference of scale exists between these firms and the small and mid-sized International Logistics firms, but because of the worldwide traditional Alliance Network of International Logistics firms, HTFN's(High Tech Forwarder Network) half hearted attitude and the small scale alliance of the small and mid-sized International Logistics firms organized in 1998 cannot breakthrough the present strenuous situation. And these results, creating an attempt to save our country's International Logistics Industry which have fallen into depression, suggests an awakening of a new strategy based on specialized nationals innovative IT-which does not exist in the world market-by categorizing our country's small and mid-sized International Logistics firms which are active worldwide.

중소·중견 물류기업 ESG 경영 이행 가이드라인에 관한 연구 (A study on ESG Management Guidelines for Small and Medium-sized Logistics Enterprises)

  • 기후변화를 비롯한 사회 문제가 심각해지면서 ESG 경영에 대한 인식은 전세계적으로 점점 높아지고 있다. 물류산업은 글로벌 공급망에서 중요한 역할을 담당하는 만큼 물류기업에 대한 ESG 경영 이행이 다양한 사회 구성원에게 요구되고 있다. 한국은 모든 기업을 대상으로 ESG 가이드라인을 마련하였으나, 물류기업 특히 중소·중견 물류기업의 특성을 고려하지 못한 한계점이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기존 ESG 가이드라인과 대형 물류기업의 지속가능경영 사례, 선행연구 등을 검토함으로써 중소·중견 물류기업을 위한 ESG 경영 진단항목 후보를 정보공시(P), 환경(E), 사회(S), 지배구조(G) 4개 영역으로 도출하였다. 중소·중견 물류기업의 영세기업 특성을 고려한 진단항목을 축소하기 위해 본 연구는 물류기업 종사자 및 학계/연구기관 전문가 총 60명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 조사결과를 토대로 주성분 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 주성분 분석결과는 정보공시의 4개 항목을 하나로 정의할 수 있으며, 환경은 16개 항목에서 3개 항목으로, 사회는 22개 항목에서 7개로, 지배구조는 20개에서 5개로 정의하였다. 본 연구는 중소·중견 물류기업 특성에 맞는 ESG 경영 진단항목을 제시하는 데에 있어 의미가 있다고 판단이 되며, 향후 유관기관에서의 가이드라인 마련과 중소·중견 물류기업에서의 ESG 경영 추진시 본 연구를 참고할 것으로 기대된다.

  • The production process of the compound-curved hull plates includes hull design, definition, fairing, modeling, lofting, cutting, and forming in sequence. Traditional fabrication methods and shop environment caused low level to productivity in medium and small sized shipyards. The most effective solution to solve those problems is to rationalize the layout of facilities. For the well-balanced development of domestic shipbuilding industry, it is urgently required to reduce the gap between modernized large sized shipyards and traditional small and medium sized shipyards in production technologies and efficiencies. For the efficient and accurate hull piece forming, all information from design to forming should be clarified and organized in a systematic manner. Thus, management of the information plays an important role in the computerized and automated of hull piece forming. The object of this paper is to survey the status of the field, to find out the feasibility and to introduce a draft of hull piece fabrication line for small and medium sized shipyards. The development of required system follows the object oriented technology to extend to simulation based system for carrying out physical product flow and facilities layout analysis. It is feasible to operate such a modernized facility for a group of small and medium shipyards who are unable to have each of their own facility because of its large amount of initial investment and insufficient work load.

Design of Passive-Type Radar Reflector

  • This paper describes design method of Passive-type Radar Reflector (PRR) which is to provide the requirement of newly revised 2000 SOLAS regulations on the Radar Reflector. The main target of this work is to find the optimum shape of a radar target having large Radar Cross Section (RCS). Through the RCS analysis based on the theoretical approach, two kinds of PRR models, RRR-F model for use in fisheries and PRR-S model for use in small sized ship, are designed and discussed their RCS performance. RCS measurement tests for the various sized samples are carried out in an anechoic chamber. As evaluation results it was clearly shown that the conventional sphere-type shows optimum shape in case of PRR-S, while the cylinder-type which consists of large sized corner clusters or zig-zag flat plats gives best performance in case of PRR-F.

The Impact of Macroeconomic Variables on the Profitability of Korean Ocean-Going Shipping Companies

  • The objective of this study was to establish whether global macroeconomic indicators affect the profitability of Korean shipping companies by using panel regression analysis. OROA (operating return on assets) and ROA (ratio of net profit to assets) were selected as proxy variables for profitability. OROA and ROA were used as dependent variables. The world GDP growth rate, interest rate, exchange rate, stock index, bunker price, freight, demand and supply of the world shipping market were set as independent variables. The size of the firm was added to the control variable. For small-sized firms, OROA was not affect by macroeconomic indicators. However, ROA was affected by variables such as interest rates, bunker prices, and size of firms. For medium-sized firms, OROA was affected by demand, supply, GDP, freight, and asset variables. However, macroeconomic indicators did not affect ROA. For large-sized firms, freight, GDP, and stock index (SCI; Shanghai Composite Index) have an effect on OROA. ROA was analyzed to be influenced by bunker price and SCI.

Pseudo MOST 프로토콜 기반 자동차용 네트워크 통합 게이트웨이 시스템 개발 (Development of Automotive Gateway System Using Pseudo MOST Network as Backbone)

  • 본 논문은 다른 종류의 프로토콜을 가지는 자동차 네트워크를 통합하기 위해 MOST 네트워크를 백본으로 하는 게이트웨이 시스템에 대한 것이다. 서로 다른 프로토콜들의 상위 계층의 메시지와 데이터 구조에 상관없이 서로간의 통신을 위해 MOST와 비슷한 구조를 가지는 Pseudo MOST 프로토콜을 설계하여 이를 데이터 수송을 위한 매개체로 이용하였다. 자동차 네트워크에 적용하기위해 일체형 게이트웨이와 소형 독립형 게이트웨이 두 가지 타입이 개발되었다. 일체형 게이트웨이는 이더넷포트, 영상 및 음성 포트를 가지고 있는 반면 소형 독립형 게이트웨이는 영상, 음성, 블루투스 그리고 Flexray용으로 각각 개발 되었다. 소형 독립형 게이트웨이를 이용한 네트워크 시스템 실험을 통해 개발된 게이트웨이가 서로 다른 프로토콜간의 데이터 송수신이 효율적으로 수행될 수 있음을 보여주었고 자동차 네트워크 통합용으로도 활용이 가능함을 보여주었다.
