We analyse the structure of slip data used as basic data for improving the transparency of transactions, and design a slip XML Schema. And then we implement Web Services for slip data, common slip data processing functions of accounting, interacting with the slip database. And we propose a standardization model of slip data structure and slip data processing service in order to make them used to diverse distributed Web applications. The result of this paper will contribute to the standardization for accounting information system for e-business area to the simple reuse of common slip data processing functions by Web services, and to the efficient development of distributed applications by grace of spreading standardization for supporting the business-to-business interactivity using easy accessibility of Web services.

The occurrence of cycle slips is a major limiting factor to attain high precision positioning and navigation results with GPS. Cycle slips must be correctly repaired at the data processing stage. In this study, the technique to find cycle slips in the processing of data collected with Trimble 4700 GPS receivers is suggested. The use of Kalman filtering techniques is used in an attempt to reduce the effect of the noise in the different quantities involved and to improve the accuracy in cycle slip correction.
SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) that is a late protocol for exchange of information with Web Services that is useful for implementing common functions in especially a large size business area, is a protocol that is a lightweight, XML-based protocol over HTTP for exchange to information in decentralized, distributed environments. In this paper, we implement SOAP-based Web Services that can use with a slip database, for common slip processing functions in enterprise accounts in order to enhance the transparency of transactions by slip processing system. The result of this paper will contribute to increasing the productivity of enterprises through enhancing the standardization of slip data, reusability of functions, convenience of access, and efficiency of implementing applications.

Presently, cycle-slip detection is done between adjacent two points in many cycle-slip methods. Inherently, it is simple wavelet analysis. A new idea is put forward that the number of difference point can adjust by a parameter factor; we study this method to smooth raw data and detect cycle-slip with wavelet analysis. Taking CHAMP satellite data for example, we get some significant conclusions. It is showed that it is valid to detect cycle-slip in GPS phase measurement based on this wavelet function, and it is helpful to improve the precision of GPS data pre-processing and positioning.

This paper describes a two-step Tikhonov regularization procedure for converting the steady shear data generated by parallel-disk viscometers, in the presence of wall slip, into a shear stress-shear rate function and a wall shear stress-slip velocity functions. If the material under test has a yield stress or a critical wall shear stress below which no slip is observed the method will also provide an estimate of these stresses. Amplification of measurement noise is kept under control by the introduction of two separate regularization parameters and Generalized Cross Validation is used to guide the selection of these parameters. The performance of this procedure is demonstrated by applying it to the parallel disk data of an oil-in-water emulsion, of a foam and of a mayonnaise.
In this paper, we propose a design methodology of RESTful SOAP-based web services which try to solve extensibility problem of SOAP-based Web service by adopting REST concept into SOAP. And, we apply the proposed RESTful SOAP-based web services design methodology in constructing slip data processing web services, compare it with simple SOAP-based slip data web services, and try to propose a model for building Web Services in the future. REST is a model about architecture type of web distributed computing , the biggest distributed application in the world. In REST, identification of resources are made by URI, states(resources) are represented by document described by XML and transferred through HTTP our proposed RESTful SOAP-based web services are expected to contribute to constructing useful world wide web services which are essential in building E-Commerce society.

To realize a robot hand interacting like a human hand, there are many tactile sensors sensing normal force, shear force, torque, shape, roughness and temperature. This sensing signal is essential to manipulate object accurately with robot hand. In particular, slip sensors make manipulation more accurate and breakless to object. Up to now several slip sensors were developed and applied to robot hand. Many of them used complicate algorithm and signal processing with vibration data. In this paper, we developed novel principle slip sensor using separation layer. These two layers are moved from each other when slip occur. Developed sensor can sense slip signal by measuring this relative displacement between two layers. Also our principle makes slip signal decoupled from normal force and shear force without other sensors. The sensor was fabricated using the NBR(acrylo-nitrile butadiene rubber) and the Ecoflex as substrate and a paper as dielectric. To verify our sensor, slip experiment and normal force decoupling test were conducted.
We present a finite difference solution for electrokinetic flow in rectangular microchannels encompassing Navier's fluid slip phenomena. The externally applied body force originated from between the nonlinear Poisson-Boltzmann field around the channel wall and the flow-induced electric field is employed in the equation of motion. The basic principle of net current conservation is applied in the ion transport. The effects of the slip length and the long-range repulsion upon the velocity profile are examined in conjunction with the friction factor. It is evident that the fluid slip counteracts the effect by the electric double layer and induces a larger flow rate. Particle streak imaging by fluorescent microscope and the data processing method developed ourselves are applied to straight channel designed to allow for flow visualization of dilute latex colloids underlying the condition of simple fluid. The reliability of the velocity profile determined by the flow imaging is justified by comparing with the finite difference solution. We recognized the behavior of fluid slip in velocity profiles at the hydrophobic surface of polydimethylsiloxane wall, from which the slip length was evaluated for different conditions.

Compared with generic GPS receiver, post-processing software GPS receiver has many advantages for high dynamic vehicle tracking. It has the advantage of the application of various tracking algorithms and aiding schemes. The post-processing system observes the carrier phase measurement data from the recorded GPS signals, detects and isolates the cycle slip. The observed carrier phase data and the raw data of the reference station are processed by carrier phase DGPS scheme. And the integer ambiguity resolution algorithm is used for resolving single frequency carrier phase ambiguity. The results of static and real flight test are presented and show that the proposed GPS translator processing system satisfies submeter accuracy.
This study was carried out to develop a versatile data acquisition/processing system for overall tractor performance utilizing a NEC PC-8001 microcomputer. The data acquisition system measures drawbar pull and power, wheel torque and axle power, ground speed, wheel slip, fuel flow, and engine speed. The system stores hexadecimal data for these variables in memory. Upon completion of each test run, all hexadecimal data stored in memory are recorded on floppy disc. The data processing system reads in the data collected on floppy disc and interprete them using several graphical and statistical techniques. The system uses the same microcomputer and a dot-matrix printer. The data acquisition system has been installed on a GOLDSTAR 500 tractor (2WD, 50 ps). A field study has shown that tractor performance data can be quickly and easily collected. It also appeared that the data processing system can be used to efficiently analyze the collected data. The data acquisition system has some troublesome in mounting and handling on tractor since it uses a general-purpose computer consisting of several components.
