PMN 치환량에 따른 저온소결 PMN-PZT 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전특성 (Piezoelectric and Dielectric Characteristics of Low Temperature Sintering PMN-PZT ceramics with the amount of PMN substitution)

  • In this study, in order to develop multilayer low temperature sintering piezoelectric transformer, $Pb_{0.97}Sr_{0.03}[(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})x(Zr_{0.48}Ti_{0.52})_{1-x}O_3]+$ 0.25wt% $CeO_2$+0.3 wt% $Nb_2O_5$ system ceramics were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3-CaCO_3$ and CuO as sintering aids and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated with the amount of PMN substitution. With increasing PMN substitution, electromechanical coupling factor kp and dielectric constant were increased.

  • Effects of the second sintering process on the superconducting characteristics of the (Bi, Pb)SrCaCuO system have been studied. It was found that the optimal calcining temperature of mixed powder may be proper to 820$^{\circ}C$ and the optimal sintering temperture was determined on 845$^{\circ}C$. The 2212 phases transitioned the 2223 phasses during the sintring process and zero resistance was attained at 108 K for the samples sintered for 264 hr. The 2223 phases changed into the 2212 phases and nonsuperconducting phases by the second grinding process. And the 2223 phases did not recover easily by the second sintering process.

  • This paper presents the effect of organic Ag complex sintering temperature on the MEH-PPV photoluminescence (PL) properties. MEH-PPV and organic Ag complex was coated on the glass substrate by spin coating method. The coated Ag complex was sintered in an air atmosphere. The sintering temperature was varied from 100 to $200^{\circ}C$ and sintering time was 5 min. The Ag film sintered at temperature higher than $120^{\circ}C$ shows very low sheet resistance less than $0.5\;{\Omega}{/\square}$. The coated MEH-PPV measure photoluminescence (PL) intensity at 580 nm. The PL peak was shifted to the higher wavelength with increasing the sintering temperature.

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate the influence of thermal debinding and sintering conditions on the sintering behavior and mechanical properties of PIMed 316L stainless steel. The water atomized powders were mixed with multi-component wax-base binder system, injection molded into flat tensile specimens. Binder was removed by solvent immersion method followed by thermal debinding, which was carried out in air and hydrogen atmospheres. Sintering was done in hydrogen for 1 hour at temperatures ranging from 1000℃ to 1350℃ The weight loss, residual carbon and oxygen contents were monitored at each stage of debinding and sintering processes. Tensile properties of the sintered specimen varied depending on the densification and the characteristics of the grain boundaries, which includes the pore morphology and residual oxides at the boundaries. The sinter density, tensile strength (UTS), and elongation to fracture of the optimized specimen were 95%, 540 MPa, and 53%, respectively.

  • In this study, in order to develop the low temperature sintering multilayer piezoelectric transformer, PMW-PMN-PZT system ceramics were manufactured with the addition of sintering aids, and their dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics were investigated. At the composition ceramics sintered at $900^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}r$), electromechanical coupling factor(kp) and mechanical quality factor(Qm) showed the optimal value of 1043, 0.44 and 793, respectively, for multilayer piezoelectric transformer application.

TiO2 두께 및 소성온도에 따른 염료감응 태양전지 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells with TiO2 Thickness and Sintering Temperature)

  • In this thesis, it is investigated the characteristics of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) according to variation of $TiO_2$ thickness (6, 12, 18, and $24{\mu}m$) and three distinct $TiO_2$ sintering temperatures (350, 450 and $550^{\circ}C$) by XRD, SEM, I-V and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. According to sintering temperature, $TiO_2$ was transformed into the anatase structure at $350^{\circ}C$, rutile structure at $550^{\circ}C$ and further into the two structure at $450^{\circ}C$. With increasing thickness up to $18{\mu}m$ and sintering temperature up to $450^{\circ}C$, respectively, the irradiance rate increased in the range of 9~26 percent and 2.80~5.10 percent. Whereas a further increase to $24{\mu}m$ and $550^{\circ}C$, the irradiance rate decrease in the range of 4~11 percent and 30~47 percent. The conversion efficiency increased in the range of 2.80~5.01 and 3.03~5.01 with increasing thickness up to $18{\mu}m$ and sintering temperature up to $450^{\circ}C$. By contrast, increase to $24{\mu}m$ and $550^{\circ}C$, the conversion efficiency decreased in the range of 3.31~5.01 and 2.80~3.89, respectively. The DSSC that thickness of $TiO_2$ were $18{\mu}m$ and sintered at $450^{\circ}C$ exhibited the most excellent characteristics, in which open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, Fill Factor and conversion efficiency are 0.69 V, $11.4mA/cm^2$, 0.64 and 5.01%, respectively.

  • In this study, in order to develop low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator, PZN-PZT ceramics were fabricated using $Li_2CO_3,\;Bi_2O_3$, CuO and ZnO as sintering aids, their structural, piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated according to the amount of ZnO addition, At the sintering temperature of $870^{\circ}C$, the density, electromechanical coupling factor(kp), mechanical quality factor(Qm), dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$) and piezoelectric constant($d_{33}$) of 0.4 wt% ZnO added specimen (sintered at $870^{\circ}C$) showed the optimum value of $7.812g/cm^3$, 0.535, 916, 1399, 335 pC/N respectively. Taking into consideration above piezoelectric properties of the specimen sintered at low temperature, it was concluded that PZN-PZT ceramics using 0.4 wt% ZnO as additive showed the optimum characteristics as the composition ceramics for low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator application.

  • Convectional PZT based piezoelectric ceramics have to sinter at high temperature about $1,200^{\circ}C$ for their suitable electrical properties. However, some issues: low temperature sintering piezoelectric ceramic composition and reliable internal electrode, have recently attracted a great deal of interest as a highly efficient multi-layered piezoelectric ceramics. In order to optimize low temperature sintering conditions of thick-film PMN-PZ-PT ceramic, it was investigated sintering and piezoelectric properties according to the change of $LiBiO_2$ contents. Thus, the superior piezoelectric properties were found at the pallet type PMN-PZ-PT optimized with low sintering processing at $925^{\circ}C$ including 7 wt% $LiBiO_2$ sintering aid. Consequentially, we successfully manufactured thick-film PMN-PZ-PT ceramics, which had superior piezoelectric and dielectric properties, with 5 wt% of $LiBiO_2$ sintering aid at temperature of $900^{\circ}C$.
