고역율형 단상 SRM의 토크리플 저감을 위한 구동회로 설계 (Torque Ripple Reduction Driver of Single Pulse SRM for High Power Factor)

  • A novel single-stage power factor corrected (PFC) drive for switched reluctance motor (SRM) is presented to achieve sinusoidal, near unity power factor input current. The proposed PFC SRM drive has no additional active switch. And a single-stage approach, which combines a DC link capacitor used as do source and a drive used for driving the motor into one power stage, has a simple structure and low cost. The characteristics and validity of the proposed circuit will be discussed in depth through the experimental results.

  • This paper proposed a boost input type single stage resonant power supply for driving magnetron device. The proposed power supply can control both input power factor and output power at the same time. Also, because ZVS is achieved using the resonance between leakage inductance and resonant capacitance, switching losses are drastically reduced. To prevent breakdown or moding phenomenon of the magnetron due to excessive starting voltage, variable frequency ignition method is also proposed. Experimental results for the prototype power supply are presented and discussed to verify the validity of the proposed power supply.

  • This paper proposes new single stage power factor correction (PFC) full bridge converter. The proposed converter is combined previous ZVS full bridge DC/DC converter with two inductors, two diodes, two magnetic coupling transformer for PFC. This process of power is isolated from the source and also regulate stable DC output voltage in a category. In this topology, the voltage stress of main switches is reduced by zero voltage switching. Moreover, the proposed converter doesn't need active PFC switch and auxiliarly circuits, like control and gating board, so it could decrease the size and cost and increase the efficiency.

  • Analog-to-digital converter has attracted a lot of interests as one of the most prospective area of an application of Josephson Junction technology. Recently, the development of a digital-to-analog converter has been pursued to achieved the high performance. One of the main advantage in using single flux quantum logic in a digital-to-analog converter is the low voltage drop in a single Josephson Junction and hence the resolution of the output voltage of this digital-to-analog converter can be very high. In this work, we have used a software, called WRspice, to study a voltage multiplier circuit which is the basic block in building a digital-to-analog circuit. In simulation, we operated a voltage multiplier with .4 Josephson Junctions per stage and studied the dependence on the circuit bias currents and the circuit inductors of the voltage multiplier. Our simulation results showed a fast operation and reasonable circuit margins.

  • 본 논문에서는 소형위성 발사장치에 적용할 수 있는 EML의 일종인 코일건에 관한 내용을 다루고있다. 단일 스테이지 코일건 설계를 위해서 수학적 및 물리적 모델을 구축하고 설계 인자에 따른 물리적 특성을 파악하였다. 또한 구축된 수학적 및 물리적 모델을 전자기 유한요소해석을 통하여 검증하였다.

Single-Stage High-Power-Factor Electronic Ballast with a Symmetrical Class-DE Resonant Rectifier

  • This paper presents the use of a novel, single-stage high-power-factor electronic ballast with a symmetrical class-DE low-$d{\upsilon}$/$dt$ resonant rectifier as a power-factor corrector for fluorescent lamps. The power-factor correction is achieved by using a bridge rectifier to utilize the function of a symmetrical class-DE resonant rectifier. By employing this topology, the peak and ripple values of the input current are reduced, allowing for a reduced filter inductor volume of the EMI filter. Since the conduction angle of the bridge rectifier diode current was increased, a low-line current harmonic and a power factor near unity can be obtained. A prototype ballast, operating at an 84-kHz fixed frequency and a 220-$V_{rms}$, 50-Hz line input voltage, was utilized to drive a T8-36W fluorescent lamp. Experimental results are presented which verify the theoretical analysis.

  • The production of vinegar containing high acetic acid concentration was carried in a single stage fed-batch culture. The initial and residual ethanol concentration were 50.0g/l and 5.0g/l, respectively, and the ethanol concentration was maintained from 5.0g/l to 10.0g/l during fedbatch culture. The fermentation temperature was decreased by 1C for every increase of 2.0% in acidity. The maximum productivity was 2.53g/l-hr and the acidity was 16.08% after 40 hours of acetic acid fermentation.

  • In this paper, the Single-stage Transmission type Injectiong-Locked Oscillator(STILO) was designed and fabicated for the Active Integrated Phased Array Antenna(AIPAA) system. The STILO, which was designed and fabricated by injection-locked technique and hair-pin resonator, has the same 210MHz frequency tuning range of the Voltage Controlled Oscillator(VCO) used by varactor. The locking bandwidth of STILO with 11.5MHz bandwidth, is much better than that of the Injection-Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillator(ILDRO), And the STILO has the improved noise characteristics in AM, FM, and PM. This STILO is useful for the AIPAA, the coupled VCO array, an the MMIC structure.

PDP 유지 전원단을 위한 고효율 Single-stage PFC Flyback Converter (A High Efficiency Single-Stage PFC Flyback Converter for PDP Sustaining Power Module)

  • A low cost PDP sustain power supply is proposed based on flyback topology. By using Boundary Conduction Method(BCM) to control input current regulation, DCM condition can be met under all load conditions. Another feature of the proposed method is that a excessive voltage stress due to the link voltage increase can be suppressed by removing link capacitor and suggest new 'Level-shifting switch driver'. this new gate driver is improved 66% of efficiency than switching loss of a existed push-pull amplifier. The proposed converter is tested with a 400W(200V-2A output) prototype circuit.

  • 본 논문은 단상 SRM 구동을 위한 1단 방식의 역률 보상형 컨버터에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 SRM 구동에서의 역률 보상회로는 2단 방식의 구조로 구성이 복잡하고 소자의 수가 증가하여 경제적으로 불리한 단점을 가진다. 따라서, 부가적인 회로의 추가 없이 1단 방식의 단위 역률이 가능한 단상 SRM 구동회로를 제안한다. 제안된 회로에 대한 타당성을 시뮬레이션과 실험으로 검증한다.
