  • 최근 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기술이 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있으며 특히, 국방 분야에서는 모의기반획득(Simulation Based Acquisition)이 필수적인 정책으로 인식되고 있다. 모의기반획득 과정 중 시험평가 단계에서는 실제 시험이 불가능한 시험평가 환경을 모의하고 실장비 연동검증을 위한 모의 기반 시험환경 구축이 필요하다. 이때 시험평가의 효율성 및 신뢰성향상을 위해 시험평가 장비의 상호운용성, 재사용성 및 신뢰성 확보가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 지대공 유도무기 체계 시험평가의 효율성을 위해 시뮬레이션 프레임워크 기반 모의기를 제작하였고 시험평가 신뢰성 향상을 위해 VV&A 프로세스를 적용하였다. 지대공유도무기 시험평가를 위한 통합시험시스템의 개발과정 및 특징에 대해 설명하고 실제 시험평가 적용사례 및 결과를 제시하며 향후 활용방안 및 연구방향에 대하여 설명한다.

천식아동 간호 시뮬레이션 학습의 효과 (Effects of Simulation-Based Learning in the Nursing Care of Children with Asthma)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of simulation-based learning on the knowledge about and performance confidence in the nursing care of children with asthma. Methods: A one-group pre- and post- study design was used. A total of 70 nursing students participated in the study. In groups of five, the participants experienced simulation-based learning during their child health nursing practicum. The given scenario was about nursing care for children with asthma. The simulation learning was provided for 3 hours, and included a group discussion before the simulation and a debriefing. Results: After the simulation, knowledge about and performance confidence in the nursing care of children with asthma significantly increased. The nursing students reported a high level of satisfaction with the simulation-based learning. There was a significant positive correlation between knowledge and performance confidence. Conclusion: Simulation-based learning was effective for nursing students in the nursing care of children with asthma. Our results suggest utilizing this new way of learning to strengthen the clinical experience of child health nursing in nursing students.

시뮬레이션 기반 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어 물류시스템의 전력 효율 분석 (Simulation-based Analysis of Electric Power Consumption Efficiency for Self-Driving Roller Conveyor Systems)

  • 본 논문은 시뮬레이션을 기반으로 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어 물류시스템의 전력 효율을 분석하는 연구이다. 물류 시스템의 전력 효율 향상은 온실 가스 배출과 물류 비용을 감소시키는 이점을 가져온다. 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어는 제품이 접근할 때에만 구동이 된다. 따라서 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어 기반 시스템은 연속 구동 롤러 컨베이어 시스템에 비해 더 적은 전력을 소비한다. 본 논문에서는 DEVS(이산 사건 기반 시스템) 기반의 시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계하고 자체 구동 롤러와 연속 구동 롤러컨베이어 모델을 구축하였다. 설계된 시뮬레이션시스템과 컨베이어 모델의 검증과 확인을 위해 우리는 실험 환경에 대응하는 물류 모델을 모델링하고 모델과 실제 시스템간의 비교를 하였다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 시뮬레이션 방법을 사용하여 자체구동 롤러 컨베이어 기반 물류 시스템의 전력 소비의 이점을 설명하는 것이다.

VRML 과 개방형구조를 이용한 사용자 기반의 로봇 시뮬레이션 개발 (Development of User-Based Robot Simulation using VRML and Open Architecture)

  • Robot simulation technique is essential not only for robot developers to design robotic systems but also for robot operators to predict robot motion, configure system layout, and increase robot ability. However, commercial robot simulation software such as ROBCAD, IGRIP, and so on are expensive and sometimes they are difficult to customize into industrial purpose programming for users. Therefore, user-based simulation programming is required to magnify the efficiency of robot system. In this paper, we show the methodology of developing user-based robot simulation programming using PC(personal computer), Open-Inventor, and Windows Programming. The developed programming has been successfully applied to welding robot systems of a shipbuilding industry. Also, the methodology presented here can be easily extended to simulate manipulators of other typed mechanism on user's PC.

다중작업 운영체제하에서 화이트-박스 시뮬레이션 게임의 구현 (White-Box Simulation-Based in a Multi-Tasking Operating System)

  • Traditionally, simulation-based learning games which are known as flight-simulators have been constructed as a black-box game. Within a black-box game, game-players can view and modify only a part of model parameters. Game-players cannot change the structure of a simulation model. In a black-box game, game-players cannot understand and learn the system structure which is responsible for the system behavior. In this paper, the multi-tasking at the level of operating systems is exploited to enhance the transparency of simulation-based learning game. The white-box game or transparent-box game allows game-players ot view and modify the model structure. The multi-tasking solution for white-box learning game is implemented with Smalltalk language on MS-/windows operating system.

Kubelka-Munk모델을 이용한 이미지 기반 메이크업 색상 분석 및 도포 영상 합성 (An Image-based Color Appearance Analysis of Makeup and Image Synthesis based on Kubelka-Munk Model)

  • Simulating color appearance of makeup effect is an important issue in computer graphics as well as cosmetic industry. Most of previous works on makeup simulation are simple color blending to mimic the cosmetic effects. Some of previous works employed Kubelka-Munk model to accurately simulate the layering effect of cosmetics. However, the simulation limited on single point, and the rest of area are still computed by simple color blending utilizing the color of the single point simulation. This paper presents an image-based method to compute the color appearance effect of makeup application using per-pixel Kubelka-Munk model. Unlike the previous methods, it is possible to compute per-pixel application thickness as well as optical property of cosmetics. The computed thickness pattern can be used in makeup simulation for a more realistic makeup simulation.

고위험 신생아간호에 관한 시뮬레이션 실습과 신생아집중치료실 실습의 스트레스와 만족도 (Stress and Satisfaction from Simulation-based Practice and Clinical Practice on High-risk Newborn Nursing)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare practice stress and practice satisfaction between clinical practice and simulation-based practice groups. Methods: A total of 159 nursing students (85 in the simulation group and 74 in the NICU group) participated in the study. Research tools measuring practice stress and practice satisfaction were used. Data was analyzed utilizing a t-test, Mann Whitney U-test, and descriptive statistics. Results: The simulation group showed a lower level of practice stress(practice instruction, practice evaluation, interpersonal relationship) a higher level of practice satisfaction compared with the NICU group. Conclusion: Simulation-based practice is an effective learning method for high-risk newborn nursing and can be used as an alternative to clinical practice.

산불 전파의 수치 시뮬레이션 (Numerical Simulation of a Forest Fire Spread)

  • In the present study, a forest fire spread was simulated with a three-dimensional, fully-transient, physics-based, computer simulation program. Physics-based fire simulation is based on the governing equations of fluid dynamics, combustion and heat transfer. The focus of the present study is to perform parametric study to simulate fire spread through flat and inclined wildland with vegetative fuels like trees or grass. The fire simulation was performed in the range of the wind speeds and degrees of inclination. From the results, the effect of the various parameters of the forest fire on the fire spread behavior was analyzed for the future use of the simulation in the prediction of fire behavior in the complex terrain.

  • War-game modeling and simulation system have been developed and applied to virtual tactical training both inside and outside of country However, most existing models have been developed for individual purpose based on the simple platform modeling such as physical modeling, visual modeling, and conceptual modeling. Thus, those modeling and simulation system cannot support the interoperability, expensively, variety and reusability. To deal with these problems, the paper propose an integrated design methodology for the War-game systems based on the DEVS/HLA.

ROS 기반 자율주행 알고리즘 성능 검증을 위한 시뮬레이션 환경 개발 (Development of Simulation Environment for Autonomous Driving Algorithm Validation based on ROS)

  • This paper presents a development of simulation environment for validation of autonomous driving (AD) algorithm based on Robot Operating System (ROS). ROS is one of the commonly-used frameworks utilized to control autonomous vehicles. For the evaluation of AD algorithm, a 3D autonomous driving simulator has been developed based on LGSVL. Two additional sensors are implemented in the simulation vehicle. First, Lidar sensor is mounted on the ego vehicle for real-time driving environment perception. Second, GPS sensor is equipped to estimate ego vehicle's position. With the vehicle sensor configuration in the simulation, the AD algorithm can predict the local environment and determine control commands with motion planning. The simulation environment has been evaluated with lane changing and keeping scenarios. The simulation results show that the proposed 3D simulator can successfully imitate the operation of a real-world vehicle.
