순시 이득 조절 알고리즘을 이용한 적응 잡음 제거기의 구현 (Implementation of Adaptive Noise Canceller Using Instantaneous Gain Control Algorithm)

  • 다양한 적응 잡음 제거기 중에, LMS알고리즘은 강인성, 높은 추적성, 구현의 단순성 때문에 가장 많이 사용되는 알고리즘이다. 하지만, LMS알고리즘은 비균일적인 수렴과 수렴율과 EMSE-사이에 trade-off를 가진다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해, 많은 가변 스텝 사이즈 알고리즘이 수년간 연구되고 있다. 이들 LMS알고리즘에서 보다 빠른 수렴속도를 위하여 복잡한 가변 스텝방식을 사용하는데 이는 많은 계산량을 필요로 한다. 이는 LMS알고리즘의 장점인 단순성과 강인성을 손상한다. 제안하는 IGC알고리즘은 원신호와 잡음신호의 순시 이득 값을 사용한다. 그 결과, IGC알고리즘은 계산량을 줄이고, 보다 높은 성능을 유지한다.

맥시멀리즘의 조형적 특성을 활용한 패션디자인 연구 (Study on the Fashion Design Using the Formative Characteristics of Maximalism)

  • This study provides a new fashion design perspective that is rapidly changing and pursues a new one based on maximalism, which is a trend that expresses the sensibility of modern fashion that seeks originality and differentiation in today's fashion world. In this study, based on the domestic monographs and previous studies, the concept and formation background of maximalism are theoretically examined. We want to classify and analyze characteristics based on the analysis and collection image analysis using the internet specialist site (www.vogue.com). We also develope a fashion design that is applied to clothes after deriving typical characteristics. The study results are as follows. The criterion of Maximilian's type criterion required to escape the minimalism that pursues simplicity and simplicity is the need to express the enlargement that expresses exaggeration, decoration to express glamor, the mixture that expresses the mixture and the complexity of the heterogeneous. This then can show the characteristics of the expressed non-structure. We analyzed the formative characteristics of maximalism in modern fashion and developed five types of fashion design.

사용자 인지특성을 고려한 PDA아이콘 설계지침에 관한 연구 (A Study of PDAs Icon Design Guideline Considered User's Cognitive Human Factor)

  • Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) have become ubiquitous and continued to gain popularity. Since PDAs have some special contexts such as mobility and limited screen size, icons are utilized frequently because icons allow us to do tasks more rapidly and effectively on PDAs like another information appliances. The study presents a cognitive approach to study human factors affecting icon design with multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis. In the experiment, a real PDA was used to investigate 29 attributes and2 preference ratings for 22 PDA icons by 20 Korean subjects. As a result, cognitive positioning about icons, attributes, and preference data were arranged on the two dimensional perceptual map. Attributes were grouped by simplicity, universality, activity, complexity, abstraction, static, and alphanumeric time. Subjects preferences were highly related with simplicity attributes group and positive to universality and activity attributes groups. It was also confirmed that there are some icons unfitted to the mental model of Korean. However, when icons are designed for PDAs or similar information appliances to Korean, it should be designed simply and actively with universal image fitted on target users mental model.

Balenciaga의 작품에 나타난 건축적 형태미에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Construction of Balenciaga's works)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the architectural construction of Balenciaga's works. He was perfectionist in tailoring which was based on architectural thought, and couturier who could design, cut, sew and fit a whole gar-ment. Balenciaga has never followed any fashion trend but his own. He designed from within himself, according to his own sensitivity to fashion. Like Chanel, he mad clothes in which women can be comfortable, move in, and get on and off with a minimum of effort. He ap-plied radical shapes to flattering ends, for his clothes echoed movements and gestures, never determined them. He achieved the perfect harmony between the body and the garment, freeing the spirit of the woman within. Reflec-tion his respect for women, Balenciaga never contorted or restriced their bodies. He did not depend on hoops and petticoats to hold out the skirts of his evening dresses but on well-balanced, architectural construction. Therefore in order to identify the architec-tural consturuction, this study hypothesizes (1) the effect of mass and volume, (2) the ef-fect of weight and support, (3) the effect of complexity and simplicity, (4) the effect of line and rhythm etc. The architectural beauty of form in Balenciaga's works are especially based on simplicity and support.

  • Recently, the aspect of consumers' preference for design has been changed to a pattern of respect for personality, based on 'personal value of passion'. The differentiated personal passion of modern people does not allow them to select mass-produced industrial product, and leads them to choose life style different from others. Specially, consumers want to express. their differentiated personality by preferring and possessing the originally designed products. Therefore, the originally designed products that are clearly identifiable become the object of consumers' consideration, and stimulate the consumers' desire to purchase. According to new needs of consumers, it is required to reconsider the old design pattern of furniture based on simplicity and propose new design for furniture to meet the needs of consumers. Mass production has resulted in a strong focus on simplicity rather than difficulty and complexity of the production process. This tendency shows the design pattern that leans toward one side excluding the expression of correlative concept among design elements. This one sided design leads modern people to have no personality, and shows only simple and uniform expression of passion. Therefore, this paper is purposed to develop furniture with more personality by applying correlative concept that has been taken less seriously in the field of design to furniture design.

가우시안 잡음과 계산량을 고려한 하이브리드 센서스 변환 (Hybrid census transform considering gaussian noise and computational complexity)

  • 스테레오 매칭 중 센서스 변환은 방사 왜곡과 밝기 변화에 강한 특징이 있다. 본 논문은 미니 센서스 변환과 일반화된 센서스 변환을 동시에 이용한 하이브리드 센서스 변환을 제안하였다. 제안한 하이브리드 센서스 변환 방법은 미니 센서스 변환의 적은 계산량과 일반화된 센서스 변환의 잡음에 강인한 특성을 반영하여 설계되었다. 성능을 평가하기 위하여 후처리 과정까지 포함하여 스테레오 매칭을 수행하였다. 그 결과 하이브리드 센서스 변환은 일반화된 센서스 변환과 성능이 비슷하였고, 계산량은 미니 센서스 변환과 일반화된 센서스의 중간값을 갖는다.

  • 본 논문에서는 적응 sidelobe canceller에 Howells-Applebaum과 DMI 알고리즘을 적용하여 수렴속도와 간섭제거 성능을 알아보았다. Applebaum 알고리즘은 계산상의 간단함으로 많이 이용되어지지만 수렴속도가 느리고 eigenvalue spread에 영향을 받는다. 반면에 DMI는 Applebaum 알고리즘에 비해 빠른 수렴속도를 보이나 계산 및 구현이 복잡하다. 빠른 수렴속도와 우수한 간섭제거성능을 요구하는 적응 SLC(sidelobe canceller)에 이 두 알고리즘을 적용하여 성능 및 계산의 복잡성을 비교해 보고 적응 SLC에 DMI 알고리즘이 더 적합함을 보인다.

  • Apparel goods are classified by many criteria for ease of merchandising implementation. Fashion and basic goods are also an oucome oi classification. Previous studies pnvide some criteria by which apparel products can be classified into fushion and basic goods. Among those ciiteria, seasonality, fashionability, clothing types, complexity in pnduction, simplicity of style, pioducuon volume, degree of style change by season, could be listed. This study, first explored how apparel merchandisers and designers define fashion and basic goods in relation with those criteria. Definitions of fashion and basic goods were explored in terms of design elements (i.e., style, color, material), production volume, sales ratio, proportion in product assortment, and contribution to profit. The study adopted a qualitative approach by use of eighteen infepth interviews with menhandisers and designers. Six were from women's wear brand, Seven from men's wear brand, and 5 from casual wear brand. All the interviewees agreed that they are using the classification of basic vs. fashion goods. However, they are using diverse terms to indicate the basic and fashion goods. The interviewees defined each group based on its contribution to total sales or profit complexity in design, production volume, and style change by season. Basic goods had a higher level of production quantity, contribute more to profit simpler design, and less style change by season than fashion goods.

계산 복잡도가 줄어든 새로운 Bussgang 자력 등화 알고리듬 (A New Bussgang Blind Equalization Algorithm with Reduced Computational Complexity)

  • 눈 모형이 열린 경우 간결하고 좋은 수렴 특성을 갖는 결정-지향 자력 등화 알고리듬이 자주 사용된다. 그러나 눈 모형이 닫힌 채널에서 결정-지향 알고리듬의 수렴은 보장되지 않는다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 무기억 비선형 함수로 hyperbolic tangent 함수를 사용하는 수정된 Bussgang 알고리듬의 적용이 Filho 등에 의하여 제안되었다. 그러나 이 알고리듬의 적용은 hyperbolic tangent 함수 그리고 이의 미분에 대한 계산 및 채널의 변화에 따른 룩업 테이블을 위한 많은 메모리를 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Filho 등이 제안한 알고리듬의 계산량 또는 하드웨어 복잡도를 줄이기 위하여 결정-지향 알고리듬을 위한 개선된 기법을 제안한다. 무기억 비선형 함수를 signum 함수로 설정하고, 이의 미분인 디락 델타 함수(Dirac delta function)를 협소한 사각 펄스로 근사화하여 결정-지향 알고리듬에 적용하면 Filho가 제안한 알고리듬의 수렴 및 정상 상태 성능은 유지하면서 계산 복잡도를 크게 줄일 수 있다.

  • All vague and constructions of contemporary cultural environment have been reorganized and the relationship between people and culture can't follow development speed of rapid material civilization development and being informationalized. Because of the circumstances, physical environment is changing into other cultural environment, existence of human being is at a crisis. Physical value precedes mental value and rapid changing causes culture lag. Modernism design of 20th century suggested standard, simplicity and mass production methods, but nowaday, as human being complexity is increasing, information-media are needed to satisfy that. Namely usual design thoughts have to be changed because our life is surrounded by many kinds of powerful media sings and various mixed cultural circumstances. People predict that the characteristics of new ages are 'Immateriality', 'Sensoriality', 'multimedia'. Amongst them, medial spatial characteristics will be eventually remarkable in commercial space which is coincided with economic logic and multilateral culture. This study is a focus on commercial space which emphasis contemporary medial characteristics and observes medial meaning and various technique through some experimental works in Korea. Also this study's purpose is to examine design directions which correspond with contemporary Korea culture.
