In this paper, we consider a signal masking structure based on the Lorenz system, which uses a feedback path of the information signal in the transmitter system. The scheme recovers the information signal exactly at the receiver, and can be used with increased amplitude information signal. The scrambling property of the scheme is also investigated by computer simulations, from which the performance is show to be better than that of the conventional method.

In this paper, we introduce a generalized synchronization method and secure communication in the State-Controlled Cellular Neural Network (SC-CNN). We make a SC-CNN using the n-double scroll. A SC-CNN is created by applying identical n-double scroll or non-identical n-double scroll and Chua's oscillator with weak coupled method to each cell. SC-CNN synchronization was achieved using GS(Generalized Synchronization) method between the transmitter and receiver about each state variable in the SC-CNN. In order to secure communication, we have synthesizing the desired information with a SC-CNN circuit by adding the information signal to the hyper-chaos signal using the SC-CNN in the transmitter. And then, transmitting the synthesized signal to the ideal channel, we confirm secure communication by separating the information signal and the SC-CNN signal in the receiver.
In this study, an interface is developed in compliance with the standards which is made by National M.E.A in U.S.A for transmitting the Marine Gyrocompass information. The interface consists of Bearing Signal Transfer, Bearing Signal Demodulator, Bearing Signal Discriminator, Bearing Counter and, Informatioin Tranmitter. The results are as follows : The transmission of bearing information was achieved successfully on the Marine RADAR by the interface tranmitting for the Marine Gyrocompass. And, newly proposed phase-detector in Bearing Signal Discriminator which method is forcibly reset the previous data of D-T Flip Flop can be solved the problems of the delay in phase discrimination and the unstableness in the boundary areas of input signal.
In this study, the problem of blind signal separation for coprime planar arrays is investigated. For coprime planar arrays comprising two uniform rectangular subarrays, we link the signal separation to the tensor-based model called coupled canonical polyadic decomposition (CPD) and propose an improved coupled trilinear decomposition approach. The output data of coprime planar arrays are modeled as a coupled tensor set that can be further interpreted as a coupled CPD model, allowing a signal separation to be achieved using coupled trilinear alternating least squares (TALS). Furthermore, in the procedure of the coupled TALS, a Vandermonde structure enforcing approach is explicitly applied, which is shown to ensure fast convergence. The results of Monto Carlo simulations show that our proposed algorithm has the same separation accuracy as the basic coupled TALS but with a faster convergence speed.

The virtual target signal generator was developed to verify the shipborne tracking radar performance. It was used to DRFM(Digital RF Memory) method to generate the virtual moving targets. The target signal includes Doppler shift and RCS according to the target motion. And the signal generator can make jamming signal and clutter to test shipborne radar performance at real environmental condition. This paper described the functional diagram and the hardware configuration items to meet the test requirements for the tracking radar. And it showed the critical design points for the sub-systems. The signal generator which was developed in this paper shared the operational information of the radar with the radar command and control part. To test the frequency agility of the radar, it had the local oscillator which could do high speed frequency switching according to radar information. By communicating between the signal generator and the radar command and control part, the local oscillator of signal generator could be controlled every pulse. It reduced the instantaneous bandwidth of signal generator and minimized the spurious. So it lowered the probability of generating wrong targets.

A signal receiving system can measure and analyze frequency, pulse modulation, scan modulation, frequency modulation on pulse, phase modulation on pulse of RF signal. A signal receiving system should be verified under simulated RF signal environment prior to verification on operation in fields. This paper describes an effective method to generate simulated RF signals with considering operational scenario. The simulated RF signal generator can be effectively used to evaluate the performance of the signal receiver and reduce the test cost of the signal receiver.
An important signal processing problem in PVDF sensor is the restoration of surface information from electric sensing signals. The objectives of this research are to design a new texture sensing system and to develop a new signal processing algorithm for signals from the sensor to be tangibly displayed by tangible interface systems. The texture sensing system is designed to get surface information with high resolution and dynamic range. First, a PVDF sensor is made of piezoelectric polymer (polyvinylidene fluoride) strips molded in a silicon rubber and attached in a rigid cylinder body. The sensor is mounted to a scanning system for dynamic sensing. Secondly, a new signal processing algorithm is developed to restore surface information. The algorithm consists of the two-dimensional modeling of the sensor using an identification method and inverse filtering from sensing signals into estimated surface information. Finally the two-dimensional surface information can be experimentally reconstructed from sensing signals using the developed signal processing algorithm.

Recently, there are serviced user customized advertisement of various type using smart device. Representative services are advertisement service using light of smart TV screen or audible sound of smart TV to transmit advertisement information. However, those services have to do a specific action of smart device user for advertisement information or need audible audio information of TV contents. To overcome those weakness, therefore, we propose an advertisement method using inaudible sound of speaker based on smart device. This method supports the transfer of advertising content to the smart device user with no additional action or TV audio signal required to access that content. The proposed method used two high frequencies among 18kHz ~ 22kHz of audible frequency range which smart TV can send out. And it generates those frequencies synthesized with audio of TV contents as trigger signal which can send advertisements to smart device. Next, smart device analysis the trigger signal and request advertisement contents related to the signal to server. After then, smart device can show the downloaded contents to user. Because the proposed method uses the high frequencies of sound signals via the inner speaker of the smart device, its main advantage is that it does not affect the audio signal of TV content. To evaluate the efficacy of the proposed method, we developed an application to implement it and subsequently carried out an advertisement transmission experiment. The success rate of the transmission experiment was approximately 97%. Based on this result, we believe the proposed method will be a useful technique in introducing a customized user advertising service.
A V2X system can be a candidate as a means to increase the stability of autonomous vehicles. In particular, in order to implement a Level 4 or higher autonomous driving system, the application of the V2X system is essential. Wireless communication technologies applicable to the V2X system include WAVE and C-V2X. Currently, the V2X service most used by autonomous driving systems is a service that provides signal phase and timing information and since real-time characteristic is a very important, verification of this service must be done. In this paper, we measured the time delay characteristics for providing signal phase and timing information using WAVE and LTE communication, and proposed a TOD-based signal phase and timing information generation method without using V2X communication system. To analyze the time delay characteristics, RTT (Round Trip Time) was measured as a result of the measurement. Average RTT using WAVE communication was 5.84ms and was 104.15ms with LTE communication. As a result of measuring the error between the signal phase and timing information generated based on TOD and the actual traffic light state, it was measured to be -0.284~3.784sec.

An intelligent road transport management system focused on microscopic, real-time traffic signal control is proposed. Referring to the development of those systems in Japan, extensive use of image traffic detectors observing the movement of vehicles inside intersections, and direct data exchange between the signal controllers of neighboring intersections are newly assumed. On site investigation of five intersections in Japan or in Malaysia shows the possibility of effective information provision and simple algorithm for solving heavy congestion, as well as easy installation.
