  • In this paper, we developed the hardware GPS signal generator for generating a GPS L1 meaconing signal with Live GPS signal signals and analyzed the performance of meaconing signal generator thorough the experiment. Deception of the signal, such as a re-broadcast, it is an object of the user to provide false information so as not to receive location information and accurate time. The signal just rebroadcast has the features that can be easily deceive the receiver via a delay of no received signal to the signal processing through an antenna. In this paper, the hardware for generating a signal only these rebroadcast designed and manufactured, by re-sending the received Live GPS signals, to confirm the effect of the receiver. The maximum delay time is possible up to about 2.6msec, also, has been successfully tested to be moved to the position of re-broadcasting based on maturity antenna the position of the receiver through a spaced antenna.

  • The fundamental small-signal modeling of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries and a parameter evaluation approach are investigated in this study to describe the dynamic behaviors of small signals accurately. The main contributions of the study are as follows. 1) The operational principle of the small signals of Li-ion batteries is revealed to prove that the sinusoidal voltage response of a Li-ion battery is a result of a sinusoidal current stimulation of an AC small signals. 2) Three small-signal measurement conditions, namely stability, causality, and linearity, are proved mathematically proven to ensure the validity of the frequency response of the experimental data. 3) Based on the internal structure and electrochemical operational mechanism of the battery, an AC small-signal model is established to depict its dynamic behaviors. 4) A classical least-squares curve fitting for experimental data, referred as Levy's method, are introduced and developed to identify small-signal model parameters. Experimental and simulation results show that the measured frequency response data fit well within reading accuracy of the simulated results; moreover, the small-signal parameters identified by Levy's method are remarkably close to the measured parameters. Although the fundamental and parameter evaluation approaches are discussed for Li-ion batteries, they are expected to be applicable for other batteries.

  • This article presents a novel cooperative spectrum sharing (CSS) scheme. The primary transmitter transmits a complex Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) signal in the first phase, and CSS occurs in the second phase. The secondary transmitter with the largest forwarding channel gain among the nodes that successfully decode the primary signal in the first phase is selected for CSS. This selected node employs a pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM) signal for primary information message (IM) instead of the QAM signal, and it employs a modified PAM signal for the secondary IM. The proposed modified PAM signal depends on the amplitude of the primary PAM signal. This method results in no mutual interference and negligible primary interference constraint and allows a higher degree of exploitation of spatial diversity, thus enabling increase in secondary power to improve primary transmission. The outage performance is enhanced in both the primary and secondary systems. The critical region, in which the primary outage performance is enhanced with the proposed CSS scheme, can be adjusted and widened by varying either the modulation cooperation sharing factor or the number of secondary transmitters.

  • The four-port coupler circuit consists of input port, isolation port and two output ports. When it inserts a signal at the input port and the isolation port, the magnitude and phase of the output signal at two output ports are decided by the magnitude and phase of the input signal. This paper analyzes the output signal characteristic of two output ports due to the input signal magnitude and phase of two input ports using the typical 4-port coupler circuit, Branchline hybrid coupler and Ring-hybrid coupler. And, it studies about new way to use branchline hybrid coupler and ring-hybrid coupler on the basis of the this information.

  • The paper is to solve the problem of existing audio signal transfer system which has a difficulties of system organization and the increase of additional install cost and unfriendly interior. To solve the existing system, we drew the new audio signal transfer system based on PLC and evaluated it. A transmitter and a receiver were designed using the PLC chip INT5500CS. An audio signal transfer system was configured with a CD player to which audio signals are sent from the transmitter and a speaker connected to the receiver. For performance evaluation of this system, a USBPre external sound card and Smaart Live 5 which is a PC-based sound measuring program were added. As a result of our experiment, the measured signal level is $2{\sim}3$ dB lower than reference signal, latency is 16.69 ms, and the specific character of coherency is bad in high frequency band. Otherwise, this system transmits and receives signals over 90 % in good condition as a result of measuring pink noise, frequency (1 kHz), and phase, magnitude. In view of the result so far achieved, the system designed this study has excellent performance, it resolves defect of existing audio signal transfer system.

  • In this article, an algorithm for improving the performance of the convolutional decoder for a COFDM receiver using the subchannel information is introduced. The proposed algorithm defines the average amplitude of the received signal at each subchannel as a certainty of the received signal at that subchannel. If the certainty of a subchannel is low, then the received signal of that subchannel is mitigated, and the brach matric of the convolutional decoder is affected by that signal in a relatively small degree. However if the certainty of a subchannel is high, then the signal is enlarged and the branch matric is affected in a relatively large degree. simulations will show the improved BER performance of a COFDM system when the proposed method has been applied.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the vibration signal of the revolution machine using the STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform). It is common to analyze the frequency of signal through FFT algorithm with the fixed sampling rate. However, in this situation the order spectrum information useful rather than the general frequency information with the fixed sampling rate. In this paper, the resampling technique was used for getting the information of order spectrum. In resampling process, the arithmetic amount and MSE(Mean Square Error) for various kinds of the signal interpolation was compared and presented the propriety of the interpolation method while developing analysis equipment. Order tracking was implemented using signal interpolation method which it has selected. Then the analyzed results were obtained through simulation using the STFT technique.

  • Wavelet transformed data can filter signal with each frequency band, because it includes detail information about original signal. Therefore, in this paper, important two noises were removed by wavelet. About AWGN environment UDWT(undecimated discrete wavelet transform), applying hard-threshold, was used and about impulse noise environment, it can be possible to recognize edge of original signal as well as superior denoising effect by using two methods, denoising by threshold and slope of signal by wavelet. SNR was used as a judgemental criterion of a denoising effect and Blocks and DTMF(dual tone multi frequency) were used as a test signal.
