By using ionic liquid 1-hexylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate ($HPPF_6$) based carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) as the substrate electrode, a $CoMoO_4$ nanorods and myoglobin (Mb) composite was casted on the surface of CILE with chitosan (CTS) as the film forming material to obtain the modified electrode (CTS/$CoMoO_4$-Mb/CILE). Spectroscopic results indicated that Mb retained its native structures without any conformational changes after mixed with $CoMoO_4$ nanorods and CTS. Electrochemical behaviors of Mb on the electrode were carefully investigated by cyclic voltammetry with a pair of well-defined redox peaks from the heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox center of Mb appeared, which indicated that direct electron transfer between Mb and CILE was realized. Electrochemical parameters such as the electron transfer number (n), charge transfer coefficient (${\alpha}$) and electron transfer rate constant ($k_s$) were estimated by cyclic voltammetry with the results as 1.09, 0.53 and 1.16 $s^{-1}$, respectively. The Mb modified electrode showed good electrocatalytic ability toward the reduction of trichloroacetic acid in the concentration range from 0.1 to 32.0 mmol $L^{-1}$ with the detection limit as 0.036 mmol $L^{-1}$ ($3{\sigma}$), and the reduction of $H_2O_2$ in the concentration range from 0.12 to 397.0 ${\mu}mol\;L^{-1}$ with the detection limit as 0.0426 ${\mu}mol\;L^{-1}$ ($3{\sigma}$).
Ammonium p-methylbenzenesulfonate, $C_7H_11NO_3S$, Mr = 189.23, orthorhombic, space group $Pna2-1$, a = 20.406(4), b = 6.271(1), c = 7.067(2)${\AA}$, V = 904.19 ${\AA}^3$, Z = 4, $D_x$ = 1.39, $D_m =1.38g{\cdot}cm^{-3}$, ${\lambda}(M_o K_{\alpha})$ = 0. 71069 ${\AA}$, ${\mu}=3.1 cm^{-1}$, T = 298K, F(000) = 400, final R = 0.057 for 994 unique observed reflections with I > $16{\sigma}(I)$. The methylbenzene portion including the sulfur atom is nearly planar. Between the $SO_3$ groups and the ammonium ion, there are three unique hydrogen bonds; two of which make the anions linked along the c-axis and the remaining one along the b-axis. These hydrogen bonds make two-dimensionally hydrogen-bonded molecular layers. Among these hydrophilic layers, the methylbenzene moieties cluster together to form hydrophobic layers.
In this study, thermoelectric characteristics of perovskite $La_{0.5}Ca_{0.5}MnO_3$ (LCMO) nanomaterials were investigated by theoretical simulation and experimental analysis. Thermoelectric power factors calculated by DFT simulation were gradually enhanced as increase in annealing temperature. Maximum power factor was obtained with high magnitude of $S^2{\sigma}=566{\mu}W/m{\cdot}K^2$ at 1100 K through a dominant improvement of Seebeck coefficient compared with electrical conductivity. Experimentally, the LCMO nanomaterials were hydrothermally synthesized and then treated by post thermal annealing with temperature variation. X-ray diffraction and SEM analysis illustrated that LCMO exhibited orthorhombic perovskite structures with small grain size of 16~19 nm over 873 K. The results directly confirmed that improvement of crystallinity and decrease of mean grain size given by post thermal annealing lead to enhancements of electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient, respectively.
Both concave and convex roof-end tiles having same style and shape are excavated in Yongjangsung castle at Jindo and Burnhwasa temple at Wando in Jeollanam-Do that are the Sambyulcho's resistance sites against Mongolia in the late Koryo dynasty. Obtained data by NAA have been used to classify the equality of a raw materials' porvenance by multiple correlation analysis(MCA) and discriminant analysis. The results of MCA has shown that there are very high correlation for [La : Sm], and [Lu : Yb]. Exactly pottery site at Chungdo, roof tile site at Chungyang, Yongjangsung castle and Bumhwasa temple and Chunghaejin site at Jangdo were distributed for four trace elements, Cr, Sc, ${\Delta}$(${\Sigma}$(Lu, Yb)) and Eu by discriminant analysis, and their accuracy is above 95%. This means that Yongjangsung castle and Bumhwasa temple have same raw material's provenance.
The fast-neutron shielding behaviour (FNSB) of two clay-materials (Ball clay and Kaolin)of Southwestern Nigeria ($7.49^{\circ}N$, $4.55^{\circ}E$) have been investigated using effective removal cross section, ${\Sigma}_R(cm^{-1})$, mass removal cross section, ${\Sigma}_{R/{\rho}}(cm^2g^{-1})$ and Mean free path, ${\lambda}$ (cm). These parameters decide neutron shielding behaviour of any material. A computer program - WinNC-Toolkit has been used for computation of these parameters. The toolkit evaluates these parameters by using elemental compositions and densities of samples. The proficiency of WinNC-Toolkit code was probe by using MCNPX and GEANT4 to model fast neutron transmission of the samples under narrow beam geometry, intending to represent the actual experimental setup. Direct calculation of effective removal cross section ($cm^{-1}$) of the samples was also carried out. The results from each of the methods for each types of the studied clay-materials (Ball clay and Kaolin) shows similar trend. The trend might be the fingerprint of water content retained in each of the samples being baked at different temperature. The compositions of each sample have been obtained by Particle-Induced X-ray Emission (PIXE) technique (Tandem Pelletron Accelerator: 1.7 MV, Model 5SDH). The FNSB of the selected clay-materials have been compared with standard concrete. The cognizance of various factors such as availability, thermo-chemical stability and water retaining ability by the clay-samples can be analyzed for efficacy of the material for their FNSB.
Two dimensional simulation results of a capacitively coupled oxygen plasma in a cylindrical reactor geometry are presented. Detailed electron impact reaction rates, which strongly depend on electron energy, are computed from collision cross sections of electrons with $O_2$ and O. Through the coupling of a three moment plasma model with a neutral chemistry/transport model are predicted spatiotemporal distributions of both charged species (electron, $O_2{^+}$, $O^+$, $O_2{^-}$, and $O^-$) and neutral species including ground states ($O_2$ and O) and metastables, known to play important roles in oxygen plasma, such as $O_2(a^1{\Delta}_g)$, $O_2(b^1{{\Sigma}_g}^+)$, $O(^1D)$, and $O(^1S)$. The simulation results clearly verify the existence of a double layer near sheath boundaries in the electronegative plasma.

In this study, the analysis of density characteristics of some dredged and reclaimed ground sites, which is necessary for liquefaction evaluation of a dredged and reclaimed ground, was conducted. From analyzing a simplified liquefaction potential evaluation using SPT-N values which have been applied as domestic earthquake-resistant design criterion, improvement scheme is suggested. Based on the analysis result of density characteristics, it was found out that the relative density and the intial N-value ranged respectively $40{\sim}50%\;and\;5{\sim}8$. In the case of applying Liao & Whitman's equation to correct effective overburden pressure, liquefaction resistance of the upper ground that is relatively weaker than that of lower ground is overestimated. So, Skempton's equation is recommended. And the N value with depth which is applied for design process should be estimated by the exponential equation, $N=1.35{\sigma}'^{0.75}$.

The power loss analysis was carried out for Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite samples with different content of NiO and ZnO. The power loss, Pcv decreases monotonically wi increasing temperature and attains to a certain value at around $100\~120$ degrees Celsius. The frequency dependence of Pcv can be explained by $Pcv\~f^n$', and n is independent of the frequency, f up to 1MHz. The Pcv decreases with an increase in ZnO/NiO. The Pcv was separated to hysteresis loss, Ph and residual loss, (Pcv-Ph). The temperature characteristics and compositional dependence of Pcv can be attributed to the Ph, while (Pcv-Ph) is not affected by both temperature and ZnO/NiO. By analyzing temperature and composition dependence of Ph and initial permeability, ${\mu}^i$ following equations could be formularized. $${\mu}_i{\mu}o=I_x\;^2/(K_1+bs_ol_s)\;\;\;\;(1)$$$Wh=13.5(I_s\;^2/{\mu}_i{\mu}_o)\;\;\;\;(2)$$ Were ${\mu}_o$ is permeability of vacuum, $I_s$ saturation magnetization, $K_1$ anisotropy constant, $S_o$ internal heterogeneous stress, $I_s$, magnetostriction constant, b unknown constant. Wh hysteresis loss per one cycle of excitation (Ph: Wh*f). Steinmetz constant of Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites, $m=1.64\~2.2$ is smaller than the one of Mn-Zn ferrites, which suggests the difference of loss mechanism between these materials.
Let G = (V ; E) be a simple undirected graph without loops and multiple edges, the vertex and edge sets of it are represented by V = V (G) and E = E(G), respectively. A weighting w of the edges of a graph G induces a coloring of the vertices of G where the color of vertex v, denoted $S_v:={\Sigma}_{e{\ni}v}\;w(e)$. A k-edge-weighting of a graph G is an assignment of an integer weight, w(e) ${\in}${1,2,...,k} to each edge e, such that two vertex-color $S_v$, $S_u$ be distinct for every edge uv. In this paper we determine an exact 3-edge-weighting of complete graphs $k_{3q+1}\;{\forall}_q\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{N}}$. Several open questions are also included.
Let $X_1,X_2,\cdots$ be identically distributed $\rho$-mixing random variables with mean zeros and positive finite variances. In this paper, we prove $$\array{\lim\\{\in}\downarrow0}{\in}^2 \sum\limits_{n=3}^\infty\frac{1}{nlogn}P({\mid}S_n\mid\geq\in\sqrt{nloglogn}=1$$, $$\array{\lim\\{\in}\downarrow0}{\in}^2 \sum\limits_{n=3}^\infty\frac{1}{nlogn}P(M_n\geq\in\sqrt{nloglogn}=2 \sum\limits_{k=0}^\infty\frac{(-1)^k}{(2k+1)^2}$$ where $S_n=X_1+\cdots+X_n,\;M_n=max_{1{\leq}k{\leq}n}{\mid}S_k{\mid}$ and $\sigma^2=EX_1^2+ 2\sum\limits{^{\infty}_{i=2}}E(X_1,X_i)=1$.
