SHRT : New Method of URL Shortening including Relative Word of Target URL (SHRT : 유사 단어를 활용한 URL 단축 기법)

  • Shorten URL service is the method of using short URL instead of long URL, it redirect short url to long URL. While the users of microblog increased rapidly, as the creating and usage of shorten URL is convenient, shorten url became common under the limited length of writing on microblog. E-mail, SMS and books use shorten URL well, because of its simplicity. But, there is no relativeness between the most of shorten URLs and their target URLs, user can not expect the target URL. To cover this problem, there is attempts such as changing the shorten URL service name, inserting the information of website into shorten URL, and the usage of shortcode of physical address. However, each ones has the limits, so these are the trouble of automation, relatively long address, and the narrowness of applicable targets. SHRT is complementary to the attempts, as getting the idea from the writing system of Arabic. Though the writing system of Arabic has no vowel alphabet, Arabs have no difficult to understand their writing. This paper proposes SHRT, new method of URL Shortening. SHRT makes user guess the target URL using Relative word of the lowest domain of target URL without vowels.

Simulation of the Flexible Moving Blocks System to Shorten Headway of Subway Trains (지하철 운전시격 단축을 위한 이동폐색 시뮬레이션)

  • This paper proposes a simulation method of train control system to increase railroad transportation capacity in the Seoul Subway. Comparing with the conventional fixed block system, a new train operation method of "moving block system" shows a more capability of same railroad. A graphic simulation program is developed for application of moving block system to Seoul subway train control system. The result of the simulation program shows a shorten headway i.e. a more dense operation of trains and a higher efficiency of railroad with the suggested moving block system.

Multi-phase Accelerating Test Method of Thermal Aging Considering Heat Generation of Electric Equipment (전기기기의 발열을 고려한 다단계 가속열노화 방법)

  • Thermal aging test is performed to qualify the life time of equipment in thermally aged condition. Due to long life time more than 10 years like as in power plant, the equipment is subjected to the accelerated thermal aging condition which is able to shorten the long aging test period by increasing aging temperature. Normally, conservatism of thermal aging test causes to impose unbalanced and excessive thermal load on components of the equipment, and deformation and damage problems of the components. Additionally, temperature rise of each component through heat generation of the electric equipment leads to long-term problem of the test period. Multi-phase accelerating aging test is to perform thermal aging test in multiple aging conditions after dividing into groups with various components of equipment. The groups might be classified considering various factors such as activation energy, temperature rise, glass transition temperature and melting temperature. In this study, we verify that the multi-phase accelerating aging test method can reduce and equalize the thermal over load of the components and shorten aging test time.

  • Recently, many methodologies and development environment to shorten embedded system development time and to satisfy customer requirement were proposed. In this paper, a method to shorten development time by improving cross development environment is proposed for embedded system development, This method was designed and implemented just for the environment using virtual prototyping development tools and embedded development kit. According to implementation and result analysis, the proposed method show the better performance the than existing method in the cross development environment which is required to modify more than once.

  • Recently, The percentile of the apartment housing within the apartment construction of domestic is increasing daily. Especially the construction duration in apartment construction is an very important factor which affects project cost. Therefore the construction companies the effort to shorten construction duration. The influence factors of the construction duration are analyzed to shorten construction duration through this tendency. The shown factors are needed to assessment method efficiently. This study is to suggest a method for the assessment of influence factors about the shortening of the construction time in apartment housing based on the FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method.

  • The disc spinning machine is a specific production machine for discs of automobile. Using this machine, we could product superior wheels in hardness and strength to the press method and the machine made process time shorten by one-pass spinning. But, the spinning machine became huge because it needed maximum pressure during the process and this can badly affect the lifetime of components. In this paper, hydraulic control system was designed to make up for defects of spinning machine and to shorten overusing power. Experimental hydraulic control system was used to simulate the wheel disc spinning process and the control performance was evaluated for the required forces and positions.

  • Modular construction is popular as a smart building system because it can shorten the construction period. This study proposed a precast concrete (PC) core system that can further shorten modular construction time. The system was developed and its structural performance was verified through computational analysis. The proposed PC core system is a complete PC construction method using dry bonding. The results of the study indicated that the proposed PC core system has structural stability and performance suitable for modular housing.

  • Many researches have been performed to shorten drying time and cost of red pepper in Korea. Nevertheless, an effective drying method for red pepper is not developed yet. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of opening ratio of red pepper's surface on drying for development of an effective drying method. The drying method with punching treatment is expected to be effectively utilized for shortening drying time and improving quality of red pepper.

  • The nuclear power plant(NPP) construction is a mammoth project, which requires a huge construction budget and the long construction duration of about 7 years. Recently there is a trend to shorten the construction period, to save the construction cost and to ensure the competitiveness through adopting the open top construction method. In this method, the major equipment are moved into the building through its top, and the internal works of the reactor building are being in process without installation of a dome roof.

  • The Pre-loading method has been widely used for the soft ground stabilization but long construction times and the transport of large quantities of fill material are required. To shorten the construction periods, the vertical drain method is generally applied simultaneously. But the high costs of the fill materials along with environmental damages remain as the main difficulties to apply this method. Therefore, a complimentary way to reduce both the height of the embankment and the consolidation time is needed. In this study, the electro-osmosis method, which is able to shorten the consolidation time and minimize the damage of the environment, was performed with a model test. The results show that as the voltage increases the consolidation settlements, consolidation drainage and shear strength also increase while the water content decreases.
