Research design, data, and methodology - The data collection uses the self-administered survey method, and the questionnaire is distributed online. A total of 504 Indonesian population aged 18 years old or more participate in this research. Data are analyzed using factor analysis, multiple regression, and multiple regression with interaction. Result - This study reveals several findings: (1) Attitude and subjective norm have a significant effect on offline shopping behavior; (2) fear has a direct and indirect effect on offline shopping behavior; (3) the effect of perceived risk on the intensity of offline shopping is determined by compliance with health protocols. Conclusion - This paper discusses the direct influence of attitudes and subjective norms on behavior. This research also integrates fear, perceived risk, and health protocol factors in TRA, which may not have been done much, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic context.
The purposes of this study were to examine the conceptual structure of shopping value, evaluative criteria of golf wear and store choice behavior, and to investigate the effect of shopping value and evaluative criteria of golf wear on store choice behavior. Data were obtained from 415 men and women aged 20-60 who had purchased golf wears living in Busan. The results of the study were as follows: Shopping value were composed of Hedonic shopping value and Utilitarian shopping value, and evaluative criteria of golf wear were consisted of Size/design.quality, Fitness/appropriateness of use, and Fashionability/brand. Stores choice behavior were composed of Atmosphere/salesperson, Diversity of product/service, Display/assortment, and convenience of location. Hedonic consumers tended to consider the price and display/assortment when they chose golf wear stores, and they were more likely to consider display/assortment mediated by fashionability/brand. But utilitarian consumers perceived less important diversity of product/service when they chose golf wear stores. Consumers who chose golf wear depending on fittness/design and quality patronaged stores offering diverse product/service.

Focus group interviews were done with 40 internet shopping-mall users on May, 2003 for the data collection. Data were analyzed by content analysis and descriptive statistics(i.e., frequency, percent). The results of this study were as following. First, competitive price, accurate product and service information and convenience were considered as important factors in the new purchase behavior among internet shoppers. Second, the more frequent purchasing time through the internet shopping mall were on weekdays rather than weeekends and the most preferred information search engine were category type, item type, and price type in order. Third, e-mails from internet shopping mall were most likely opened by internet shoppers, that is to say, e-mail can be the efficient communication tool as well as the possible promotion strategies. Specifically, the title of email was considered as an important factor to approach the target consumers.

According to a result of looking into the influences of clothing shopping orientations on information search behaviors, as shopping orientation for pleasure, fashion synchronization orientation, brand store royal orientation & economical orientation go high, the search degree of store information & mass media information, commercial media information & personal information, past experience information and personal information raise up respectively more and more. With rapid changes in social and marketing environments, catalog retailing emerges as a new method of selling clothes in Korea. In catalog shopping, in-store and multi·store search behavior are omitted saving consumers time and effort. On the other hand, consumers may lose recreational enjoyment of shopping when they purchase clothes through catalog. In this study, consumers perception of shopping cost and recreational shopping orientation were tested as consumer characteristic intervening catalog shopping behavior. The concept of shopping cost was derived from Darian(1987)'s analysis of cost and benefit of store shopping and in-home shopping. A national sample of 700 adult women was surveyed and 477 questionnaires were returned and used for statistical analysis. Nine shopping cost perception variables were found to have significant positive relationships with the purchase intention of apparel through catalog. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis, two factors of shopping cost were found; perception of lack of shopping time and perception of store search effort. Causal modeling of LISREL analysis showed that percetion of lack of shopping time was strongly related with patronizing intention of catalog shopping. Since catalog shopping exclude enjoyment of store shopping activity, it can be logically inferred that recreational store shoppers have less chance of being catalog shoppers. However, the result of LISREL analysis showed that there were no negative relationship between recreational shopping orientation and catalog shopping intention. This suggests that consumers might experience enjoyment of shopping through catalog when properly presented.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of social shopping, adventure shopping, value shopping, relaxation shopping, and idea shopping in influencing impulsive online buying behavior moderated by scarcity and serendipity information. The research method used is the quantitative research paradigm using surveys as a medium to obtain primary data. The paper examines the theoretical research model and tested fifteen hypotheses. The questionnaire was developed based on indicators from previous research. A non-probability sampling framework is used in this study. The data collection method uses electronic and online questionnaires to collect primary data with a total sample of 330 taken with the criteria of having made transactions in e-commerce Shopee in the last three months. Data analysis tools using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. The results showed that 8 out of 15 hypotheses were accepted and supported. The results show that there is a relationship between the value of hedonic shopping, scarcity, and serendipity information on impulsive online buying behavior. Therefore, analyzing the needs of customers, optimizing customer satisfaction, service excellence, website quality, and the ease of use of e-shopping itself especially in the e-commerce industry should be taken seriously nowadays.
Word-of-mouth (WOM) communication (traditionally important in consumption) is expanding its influence into cyber space and is playing an important role in online shopping. Consumers who use online shopping might not readily make purchasing decisions due to information overload, lack of accurate product recognition, and the distrust of commercial information. Subsequently, people use WOM communication for a mutual interchange with others who share common concerns, interests, and purposes. This study examines the consumer characteristics, perceived risk on online shopping and benefits of online shopping according to WOM behavior that may significantly affect consumer actions. Factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, cluster analysis, and Chi-square analysis were used for statistical analysis to identify the differences in consumer characteristics. Online WOM behavior consumers purchased more various items than offline WOM behavior consumers; however, the most influential purchasing factor was price regardless of WOM behavior. Offline WOM behavior consumers have shown higher perceived online shopping risks and benefits.

The results showed that there were three lifestyle groups: Internet/fashion interest group, study oriented group, and family oriented/self-confidence group. The shopping orientations had 6 factors, and Internet purchase behavior included 5 dimensions of clothing purchase types through Internet, apparel selection criteria, and Internet purchase experiences.
