Intelligent Agent for Customizable Shopping Mall using Fuzzy Theory (퍼지 이론을 이용한 맞춤형 쇼핑몰을 위한 지능형 에이전트)

  • With the popularization of internet, its application fields are spreading out every industry parts, especially there are great change in marketing areas by the internet. One of them is shopping mall. Assembly PC of old method being sale shopping mall is not consider in compatibility of each devices, because of using the assembling method of it. In this paper, in order to their has not specific knowledge on computer and consider of a compatibility to each devices, our implemented shopping mall that on the provided convenience by using the on-line customer, M implemented intelligent agent can advise compatibility of each devices using Fuzzy value.

  • 웹의 표준은 XML을 기반으로 개발, 발전되고 있는 추세이며, 이러한 XML 기술은 전자상거래, 문서 변환, ERP 등의 응용 분양에 활발하게 적용되고 있다. 이와 더불어 XML 문서화에 따른 데이터 처리 기법도 중요하게 되었다. 데이터 처리 기법에 에이젼트 기술을 이용함으로써 불필요한 HTML 문서 내용을 처리하는 기존의 방법보다 구조화된 데이터를 검색하여 결과의 정확성과 신속성을 가질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 논리적인 XML 문서를 기반으로 한 쇼핑몰을 구축하고 그에 대한 데이터를 수집, 처리하는 에이전트를 설계, 구현하였다.

A Study on Consumers' Responses to Shopping Chatbot: The Effects of Agent and Message Types (쇼핑 챗봇에 대한 소비자 반응 연구: 에이전트와 메시지 유형 효과를 중심으로)

  • As AI technology develops, its application has been extended to diverse fields. In particular, AI-enabled Chatbot services have garnered growing attention and such services are more important as a tool of communication in mobile shopping. However, research on chatbots is in its early stage and the understanding of chatbots in the context of mobile commerce is very limited. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate consumer responses to a shopping chatbot with a focus on the effects of chatbot agent types and message types. Specifically, a $2{\times}2$ between-subjects experimental design, with the agent type (secretary/friend) and the message type (factual/evaluative) as the independent variables, was employed. The results show that although main effects of chatbot agent and message types are not found, interaction effects between chatbot agents and message types on consumer responses are significant. Specifically, when the agent type was a secretary, consumer responses to product recommendation with a factual message were more positive. On the other hand, in the case of the friend agent, the evaluative message led to more positive responses. The findings suggest that communication elements are important in the understanding of consumer responses to chatbots in mobile shopping and effective strategies for utilizing chatbots for mobile commerce should be considered.

  • This paper introduces the design and implementation of product search support agent for an efficient Internet shopping. In existing shopping malls, electronic catalogs provide the product information by subject or keyword, or the buying information by purchasing history. This proposed product search support agent system is designed to analyze navigating patterns of customers, extract more effective buying information with regard to the current trend in customer navigating . In conclusion, this product search support agent can propose more suitable buying information to customers that he can be proposed to make purchases more efficiently.

  • The technologies relevant to e-business have rapidly developed during very short period of time and recently it is expanding to the area of B2B. Keeping pace with this development in e-business, the information of comparison or analysis on commodities of a lot of sites is also required. Though the information on price comparison among internal shopping malls are now being offered, its not efficient for its renewing intervals are long and, due to some indiscreet collection of information for the purpose of fast renewal, much loads are being generated on the pertinent shopping malls. In this article, the retrieval engine on demand is designed and realized using a dynamci robot agent changing kinetically on the status of the pertinent shopping malls that can offer the customized service and presents the shopping malls with the lowest price for each commodity under e-business after the shortest time of collection and analysis while not giving loads to the pertinent shopping malls.

  • Recently the effort of retailers improving the efficiency of store operations by using the information technology (IT) is increasing. Among them, the analysis of the shoppers' flow in retail stores is one of the critical tasks since it is an essential part in optimizing store layout and item grouping, and in developing the customized services specialized to shoppers' classification. Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS) is one of the most promising methods which support analyzing the shoppers' flow. In this paper, we suggested a shopper's behavior model and developed an agent-based simulator for optimizing the operations of retail stores. In order to model the shoppers' behavior, we analyzed the behavioral characteristics of shoppers based on their shopping lists, suggesting BDI-based agent models of the shoppers' behavior. The shopping agent model were suggested, which has an additional mental state, the shopper's behavioral characteristic, as well as the original mental states of the BDI theory which has beliefs, desires and Intentions. The result of this study can be used in as a preliminary study for modeling and simulation of retail stores congestion and in the end the optimization of item grouping and store layout.

  • Semantic Web society initially focused only on data but has gradually moved toward knowledge. Recently rule beyond ontology has emerged as a key element of the Semantic Web. All of these activities are obviously aiming at making data and knowledge on the Web sharable and reusable between various entities around the world. If one of ultimate visions of the Semantic Web is to increase human's decision making quality assisted by machines, there is a missing but important part to be shared and reused. It is knowledge about constraints on data and concepts represented by ontology which should be emphasized more. In this paper, we propose Semantic Web Constraint Language (SWCL) based on OWL and show how effective SWCL can be in representing and solving an internet shopper's decision making problem by an implementation of a shopping agent in the Semantic Web environment.

  • E-commerce customers can reduce purchasing cost by the help of comparison shopping agents that collect price information of products in the shopping malls. However, user expects a software agent that can recommend product information satisfying various purchase conditions besides price. In this paper, we present a MAS (multi-agent system) which retrieves and recommends book information suitable for various user needs to realize an agent-based E-Commerce. We implemented and tested our MAS to help on-line bookstore customers. From the results, we could provide E-commerce customers various book purchase conditions for several online bookstores in real-time.

An Efficient Meta-Search Scheme for Comparison Shopping Sites (비교 쇼핑 사이트들에 대한 효율적인 메타검색 기법)

  • With the spread of electronic commerce on the Internet, comparison shopping sites with agent technique are getting popular for the best shopping. However, most consumers are still spending much time to search for the best price through the sites because each of them may show a different price even for the same goods or a site does not show any information about specific goods. Additionally, the search for the best price of the goods like books and CDs may cause the system to be overloaded and the response time to be long due to an on-line real-time search. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a meta-search system for comparison shopping sites with a local database and memory cache to resolve the above problems. The proposed system collects and maintains the price information of popular goods among the comparison shopping sites using several software agents. The experimental results show that our system is an efficient meta-comparison shopping engine and reduces the latency of the response time with little overhead.

A Study on the UX of Shopping Experience in Conversational Agents: Focus on the Difference between the Presence of a Screen, Product Involvement, and Conversation Style (음성 에이전트에서의 쇼핑 경험에 대한 사용자 경험 연구: 화면 유무와 제품관여도, 대화방식의 차이를 중심으로)

  • In this study, we examined voice shopping interaction in which consumers can be involved in the decision-making process. Sixteen kinds of voice shopping interaction were designed with differences in the existence of screen/product involvement/conversation style. Their effects on trust, cognitive load, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use were evaluated through a survey experiment. The main effect of conversation style was significant, and it was found that the more deeply involved users have higher trust. The interaction effect between conversation style and product involvement was also significant. Low involvement product buyers had the most positive user experience from the conversation style that included 'Ask for preference,' while high involvement product buyers had the most positive user experience from the conversation style that included both 'Ask for preference' and 'Question and Answer.' The main effect and interaction effect of the existence of screen was not significant. The results indicate that a positive user experience can be obtained when users are deeply involved in consumer decision-making, especially in purchasing high-involvement products.
