LoRa 기반 어구 식별용 부이 장착 단말 및 어선용 게이트웨이 (Buoy-launched Terminal Equipment and Ship-launched Gateway Equipment Based on LoRa for Identification of Fishing Gear)

  • 해양수산부는 2016년 유실어구에 의한 피해를 최소화하기 위해 전자어구실명제 실행계획을 발표하였다. 어구의 과다사용 및 폐어구 저감을 위해 어구의 종류 및 위치, 사용자의 실명을 포함한 정보를 IoT 기반의 통신을 이용하여 어선 및 관제센터에 효율적으로 전송할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 전자어구실명제를 실행하기 위한 LoRa 기반의 부이 장착 단말 장치와 어선용 게이트웨이를 제안한다. SEMTECH사의 SX1276 칩 사양과 ISM 대역인 900 MHz 대역을 사용하여 1(게이트웨이):200(부이) 통신이 가능하도록 설계하고 제작하였다. 또한 전자어구실명제 실행의 기술적 제안으로써의 실증을 위해 해상 시험 결과를 분석하였다.

시뮬레이션에 희한 부산컨테이너 터미널 운영의 체계적인 분석 (A Systematic Analysis on the Operation of Busan Container Terminal by Computer Simulation)

  • Since the middle of 1950's when sea transportation service by container ship was established, containerization has been rapidly spread over the world with realization of intermodalism, and becomes an index of economy growth of a country. Our country has established Pusan Container Terminal at Pusan harbour in 1978 in step with worldwide trend of containerization, and is constructing New Container Terminal at Pusan outharbour which will be completed in 1990. This paper aims to make a quantitative analysis of the Pusan Container Terminal system through the computer simulation, especially focusing on its subsystems such as ship stevedoring system, storage system and transfer system. First, the capacity of various subsystems are evaluated and it is checked whether the current operation is being performed effectively through the computer simulation. Secondly, the suggestion is presented to improve the operation by considering the throughput that Pusan Container Terminal will have to accept until 1990, when New Container Terminal will be completed. The results are as follows ; 1) As the inefficiency is due to the imbalance between various subsystems at Pusan Container Terminal on the basis of about 1.2 million TEU of container traffic, transfer equipment level must be up to 33% for transfer crane, and free period must be reduced into 4/5 days for export/import. 2) On the basis of about 1.4 million TEU of container traffic, transfer equipment level must be up to $12\%$ for gantry crane, $11\%$ for straddle carrier and $66\%$ for transfer crane, and free period must be reduced into 3/4 days for export/import. 3) On the basis of about 1.7 million TEU of container traffic, transfer equipment level must be up to $25\%$ for gantry crane, $28\%$ for straddle carrier and $100\%$ for transfer crane, and free period must be reduced into 3/4 days for export/import. 4) On the basis of about 2 million TEU of container traffic, transfer equipment level must be up to $25\%$ for gantry crane, $30\%$ for straddle carrier and $110\%$ for transfer crane, and free period must be reduced into 2/3 days for export/import, and it is necessary to enlarge storage yard.

해상상황인식 개선을 위한 시각적 항해보조장비 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Visual Navigational Aids to improve Maritime Situation Awareness)

  • 본 연구는 당직항해사의 해상상황 인식개선을 위해 시각적 항해보조 장비를 개발하고 그 성능시험 결과를 분석하였다. 개발된 장비는 영상신호를 발생하는 복합영상센서, 거리를 탐지하는 레이저 거리측정부, 팬틸트부, 중앙제어장치부로 구성된다. 개발된 장비의 Pan/ Tilt 내부에 고성능 영상 센서와 레이져 거리 측정기를 장착하고 있다. 실선 실험을 위하여 선박에 개발된 장치를 설치하고 연안 항해중 위해 요소를 관측하여 나타난 화상을 분석함으로써 그 해상상황 인식 개선성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과로 쌍안경에 비교하여 보다 더 명료한 물표의 인식과 해상상황을 포착할 수 있었다.

함정 탑재 안테나의 복사패턴 측정기법 연구 (A Study on the Radiation Pattern Measurement Technique of Shipboard Antenna)

  • It is important to test and evaluate the variation degree of ship-mounted antenna radiated power with respect to all directions in order to use more effectively antennas that installed on naval ships. The naval ship has various sensors for navigation, communication and electronic warfare, etc. And the performance of these sensors extremely depends on the various characteristics of antenna system to transmit and receive electromagnetic wave. The radiated power pattern of the antenna differs from all aspect angles of the ship because of complex superstructures. It is important to know the weak point(direction) of antenna radiation for appropriate operation. Therefore, the ARP(Antenna Radiation Pattern) of shipboard antennas is measured for the all aspect angles. The results of ARP measurement are utilized as reference for antenna arrangement of newly-built same class warship. This study also describes the development results for the ARP measurement technique, software design and test procedures to measure the radiation pattern of communication equipment antennas using the fixed test site.

선박탑재용 종합내항성능 평가시스템 개발을 위한 기초적 연구 (A basic study for the development of Integrated Seakeeping Performance Evaluation System on board the ship)

  • From a ship's safe operation point of view, it is very important to estimate the navigational safety in a seaway. The seakeeping performance can be defined as the ability of a ship to go to sea, and to accomplish its missions successfully and safely even in adverse environmental conditions. There are several factors presently adopted for evaluating seakeeping performance. But a hardware of the system considering all these factors has not been developed since some of them can not be measured by sensors. In this paper, a synthetic method of evaluating navigational safety is developed by measuring the vertical and lateral acceleration. An experiment by using real measuring carried out on board the T/S 'HANNARA' The equipment was measured every 4 hours for more than 30 minutes the acceleration by accelerometer, analyzed its acceleration values and calculated navigational dangerousness. As the results of this on board experiment, the system is carried conviction to be useful as evaluating seakeeping performance.

  • Despite the development of the various navigational equipment, such as GPS, ARPA, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, and hull monitoring system, marine accidents are still a leading concern in shipping industry. For all accidents over the reporting period, approximately 60 to 80% of the accidents was involved in human error. It means that in each case, some events which were associated with human error initiated an accident, and those failures of human performance led to the failure to avoid an accident or mitigate it's consequences. However, the improvement and the effort on the maritime human error are still limited in an elementary step. The objective of this paper is to propose a modified Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) model in order to analyse the collision accidents of tug-barge ship.

  • A provision crane is generally installed on the upper deck to the rear of the accommodation of the ship in order to load and unload engine part or something heavy. There are two types of provision cranes: one is jib-type and the other is monorail-type. So the natural frequency of the jib-type crane equipment is low, therefore, there are some possibility of resonance between crane structure and the main excitation sources of the ship in normal operating range. This study describe a vibration reduction technique for provision crane by applying a proper countermeasure through finite element analysis and modal test. In order to find out weak point in design of provision crane, a sensitive analysis has been performed.

선저고정형 소나의 탐지성능 향상을 위한 빔 안정화 빔형성 기법 (Beam Stabilization Beamforming Technique for Hull-Mounted Sonar Performance Enhancement)

  • Hull-Mounted Sonar(HMS) has been the main equipment to detect and track underwater threats like torpedoes and enemy submarines. The HMS has short warming-up time and is employable independently with sea-state and weather condition. But these bad environmental condition and ship maneuvering make ship's roll and pitch. Ship's roll and pitch make unstability of sensor position, then cause degradation of the HMS performance. In this paper, we will show how the unstability influences the HMS performance, propose the 'Beam Stabilization Beamforming Technique' to overcome these phenomenon. And present the effectiveness of proposed technique by comparing with conventional beamforming result.

  • Outfitting system in ship design has huge kinds of standard part. Data base of and automatic design procedure of part master should be included in ship cad in order to reduce the design time. Present study shows an process of part master DB construction of pipe equipments using 3-dimensional CAD environment Attribute and properties of part masters are chosen from JIS standard. As the schema of part masters are stored in data base, 3D geometric model is parsed from the schema.

  • Now, GPS survey is used on equipment from leisure to precise geodetic survey and nation admits the result of GPS survey. When surveyors perform precise GPS survey, they use post processing method but they greatly use real time processing method to consider field status. Especially, when surveyors measure the result of moving target, they use real time GPS survey to the best method. For this study, the author precisely surveyed distance of ship launching from shipyard on real time using real time precise GPS method. In this paper, the author compares and examines the accuracy of first real time precise GPS survey method nationally and the capability on use. And the author performed real time precise GPS survey in NOKBONG and 21C shipyard positioning at GEOJEDO.
