As the packing density of IC devices gets ever higher, the thickness of the gate $SiO_2$ layer of the MOS devices is now required to be reduced down to 1 nm. For such a thin $SiO_2$ layer, the MOS device cannot operate properly because of tunneling current and threshold voltage shift. Hence there has been much effort to develop new dielectric materials which have higher dielectric constants than $SiO_2$ and is free from such undesirable effects. In this work, the physical and electrical characteristics of ALD $ZrO_2$ film have been studied. After deposition of a thin ALD $ZrO_2$ film, it went through thermal treatment in the presence of argon gas at $800^{\circ}C$ for 1 hr. The characteristics of morphology, crystallization kinetics, and interfacial layer of $Pt/ZrO_2/Si$ samples have been investigated by using the analyzing instruments like XRD, TEM and C-V plots. It has been found that the characteristics of the $Pt/ZrO_2/Si$ device was enhanced by the thermal treatment.
In this paper, we propose a vanishing point detection method using multiple initial vanishing points. Vanishing points are important geometric information that is used for reconstructing 3D structures. Three vanishing points are detected for indoor scenes. In the previous work, it could be inaccurate to detect only one initial vanishing point, because initial vanishing point getting most highest sum of voting could be deferent from the best initial vanishing point. Therefore the method which sets multiple initial vanishing point and detects a best vanishing point from them gives us preparation for the prior case. Also in this paper, we propose a adjusting vanishing point method by postprocessing of detected vanishing points. We could detect more accurate vanishing point by using postprocessing. Experimental results show that the accuracy of the vanishing point detection is about 1~2% higher than that of the existing method through the proposed method and the performance is improved accordingly.

Farm population was rapidly decreasing due to shift of the people from farm sector to the non-farm sector caused by the economic growth of the country. Especially, a great shortage of farm labor in busy farming period in June and October is becoming a serious problem in maintaining or promoting land productivity. The peak of labor requirement in summer is caused by rice transplanting and barley harvesting. In order to reduce the restrictions imposed on farm management by the concurrence of labor requirement and the lack of labor, the experimental study for mechanization of barley harvesting has been carried out in the fields. 1. The machines for barley harvesting were knap-sack type reapers, windrow reaper (power tiller attachment), binder and combine. The order of higher efficiency of machine for barley harvesting was combine, binder, windrow reaper (WR), knapsack type reaper 1(KSTR1), and knap sack type reaper 2(KSTR2; mist and duster attachment). 2. The ratio of grain loss for the manual, binder, and combine plot was about four percent of total field yield. 3. The total yield of barley in 35 days and 40 days harvesting after heading were 514 kg and 507kg per 10 ares respectively. The yield of 35 days-plot was higher than other experimental plots. 4. The lowest yield was recorded in 30 days-plot due to the large quantity of immatured grains and having lighter 1000-grain weight. The ratio of immatured grains was 2.66 percent and 1000-grain weight was 29.4 grams. 5. The total harvesting cost of the windrow reaper was 10,178 won per 10 ares. It was the lowest value compared to other machines. The next were combine, binder, KSTR1, KSTR2, and manual in sequence. As a result, the optimum time of barley harvesting for mechanization was 35-40 days after heading. Combine, binder, and windrow reaper were recommended as the suitable machines for barley harvesting in the work efficiency. However, in total harvesting cost, the windrow reaper was the most promising machine for barley harvesting.
In recent years there has been a growing interest in all forms of rotational therapy, and many different types of therapy machines designed for this kind of treatment have become available. To the medical radiation physicist, the dosimetry of rotation therapy has presented a number of interesting problems, and much useful work has been published on the basic data of dose distribution and dosage calculation. The setting dose for ARC therapy were obtained by computer calculation and measurement with cylindrical phantom. Authors compared computer calculation with measured value. And in ARC therapy, the region of maximum dose is shifted from the tumor center. The extent of shift was analyzed by isodose distribution for ARC therapy techniques.
In the time of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we endlessly cross between the virtual and the real in our daily routine. Information saving method has changed from physical to virtual and the contents of a digital device can be a method of showing one's identity. A digital device can be seen as a virtual version of a 'wuderkammer'. With this perspective, this study focuses on the changes that has occurred in our daily interaction, the process of thinking, perceiving, and understanding in the time of 'digital wunderkammer'. In order to discuss this matter, this study looks at the two art work series - 'Universal Addressability of Dumb Things' and 'UniAddDumThs' - by a British artist, Mark Leckey and analyzes the digital environment of today, its visual expression, and the characteristic of 'digital wunderkammer' reflected in his art works. Through this study, we hope that the readers can understand the paradigm shift of today and expand the creative possibilities in this new era of digital revolution.

Purpose: This study was done to identify the experiences of ethical issues and needs for ethics education in clinical nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was used and data were collected in 2013. Participants were 428 clinical nurses working in the general units of seven medical hospitals. The Ethical Issues in Clinical Practice Tool was used. Data analysis was performed using SPSS/WIN 19.0. Results: 'Providing care with a possible risk to your health' was the most frequent and disturbing ethical problems for nurses. The highest helpful ethical topic was 'the patients' right, autonomy and informed consent'. The ethical issue experience was significantly different according to education level, work units, and type of employment. The necessity of ethics education was statistically different according to age, religion, level of education, duration of working as RN, position, shift type, and continuing education about nursing ethics. Conclusion: The results of this study show that nursing educators need to provide practical ethics education based on frequent ethical issues and helpful education topics. These findings can be used in developing effective education strategies for clinical nurses and nursing organizations to improve nurses' ethical decision-making abilities.
Through the biographical approach, the current research purports to reconstruct the Changeprocess of values and identities on the lives of the first-generation Korean-German females in Germany from the transnational perspective. Ten interviews were conducted, using Schutze's autobiographicalnarrative interview. Interview data were analyzed through the application of Schutze's autobiographical-narrative interview and Mayring's qualitative content analysis. Findings showed that on the onset of emigration, their values centered around hybrid collectivism. Their life in the process of emigration was characteristic of a shift to hybrid individualism. Furthermore, the life at beginning of emigration was found to be characterized by a singular regional identity. The process of emigration was shown to mark the conversion into dual identity, dual regional and dual national. Some theoretical and practical suggestions for the emigrants' welfare were finally offered that were associated with the process of values and identities changes in their life.
We have synthesized a new green Ir(III) complex fac-tris-(3-methyl-2-phenyl pyridine)iridium(III) $Ir(mpp)_3$ and fabricated phosphorescent polymer light-emitting device using it as a triplet emissive dopant in PVK. $Ir(mpp)_3$ showed absorption centered at 388 nm corresponding to the $^1MLCT$ transition as .evidenced by its extinction coefficient of the order of $10^3{\cdot}$ From the PL and EL spectra of the $Ir(mpp)_3$ doped PVK film, the emission maximum was observed at 523 nm, due to the radiative decay from the $^3MLCT$ state to the ground state, confirming a complete energy transfer from PVK to $Ir(mpp)_3$. The methyl substitution has probably caused a red shift in the absorption and emission spectrum compared to $Ir(mpp)_3$. The device consisting of a 2 % doped PVK furnished 4.5 % external quantum efficiency at 72 $cd/m^2$ (current density of 0.45 $mA/cm^2$ and drive voltage of 13.9 V) and a peak luminance of 25,000 $cd/m^2$ at 23.4 V (494 $mA/cm^2$). This work demonstrates the impact of the presence of a methyl substituent at the 3-position of the pyridyl ring of 2-phenylpyridine on the photophysical and electroluminescence properties.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to elucidate clinical nurses' ethics germane to information literacy and perception of patient data privacy and thus help nurses to develop more positive and consolidated ethical values. Methods: For this study a descriptive survey design was used. Participants were 142 nurses who worked in a hospital and completed self-report questionnaires. Data were collected from August 1 to 5, 2016 and were analyzed using independent t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 22.0. Results: Ethical value had a positive correlation with information needs (r=.25, p=.002) in information literacy as well as in direct patient care (r=.27, p=.001), shift work (r=.20, p=.016), patient information management (r=.39, p<.001), and communication (r=.24, p=.004) in perception of patient data privacy. Patient information management, educational background, and age were significant variables predicting the level of ethical values and accounted for 21% of the variance. Conclusion: Ethical values education with particular emphasize on managing patient information should be encouraged for nurses who are younger and have a lower education level. Findings indicate a need for education programs to guide clinical nurses to utilize appropriate information when solving ethical challenges in every day nursing practice.
