In order to clear the basic concept about oriental medical physiology and pathology, We studied the theory of three yin, three yang, and it is based on the principle that yang goes forward and yin goes back. The result were summarized as follows. 1. It showed how to originate about the concept of three yin three yang. 2. It showed the logical basis concerning that the TAIYANG channels are open, the YANGMING channels are shut, the SHAOYANG channels are pivots, the TAIYIN open, SHAOYIN shut, JUEYIN pivots. 3. According to the opening, closing, pivoting principle, It explained the exterior and interior relation such as TAIYANG and SHAOYIN, YANGMING and TAIYIN, SHAOYANG and JUEYIN. 4. According to the opening, closing, pivoting principle, It showed that arteries of the twelve channels rotated in lung channel of hand-TAIYIN, the large intestine channel of hand-YANGMING, the stomach channel of foot-YANGMING, the spleen channel of foot-TAIYIN, the heart channel of hand-SHAOYIN, the small intestine channel of hand-SHAOYANG, the urinary bladder channel of foot-TAIYANG, the kidney channel of foot-SHAOYIN, the pericardium channel of hand-JUEYIN, the sanjiao(三焦) channel of hand-SHAOYANG, the gall bladder channel of foot-SHAOYANG, the liver channel of foot-JUEYIN. 5. As arteries of the twelve channels was based on the cycle, the logical criticism about Napgibup(納氣法) was shown.

I have come to next conclusions in consequence of documentary study about medical books of many generations regarding Medical treatment with Acupuncture Point of Flank pain. The urinary bladder channel of foot-taiyang is most used. Next there are the ren channel, the gall baldder channel of foot-shaoyang, the liver channel of foot-jueyin, the triple-warmer channel of hand-shaoyang, the kidney channel of foot-shaoyin, the stomach channel of foot-yangming, the spleen channel of foot-taiyin, the pericardium channel of hand-jueyin, the lung channel of hand-taiyin, the small intestine channel of hand-taiyang, the large intestine channel of hand-yangming, the heart channel of hand-shaoyin in the order of frequency in used channel among the twelve channels. The liver channel of foot-jueyin is most used. The gall baldder channel of foot-shaoyang, the urinary bladder channel of foot-taiyang, the triple-warmer channel of hand-shaoyang, the spleen channel of foot-taiyin, the stomach channel of foot-yangming, the ren channel, the small intestine channel of hand-taiyang, the kidney channel of foot-shaoyin, the pericardium channel of hand-jueyin, the large intestine channel of hand-yangming, the lung channel of hand-taiyin, the heart channel of hand-shaoyin in the order of frequency in used point among the twelve channels.

Objectives : This paper tried to explain the meaning of Shaoyangzhugu in Huangdineijing. Methods : The opinions on these matters that can be found in the past studies are analyzed to assess the strengths and limitations of today's explanations on the meaning of Shaoyangzhugu. Furthermore, this study attempted to suggest a more rational way of understanding that can supplement the opinions before. Results : The opinions that fail to provide a rational explanation on Shaoyangzhugu were disposed. It was found that the explanation of Shaoyangzhugu through the Shaoyang's pivot function has a potential of providing a rational understanding of Shaoyangzhugu. Following this, this study made a deduction based on the functions of gallbladder found in the Huangdineijing and explained the Shaoyang's pivot function. This study then proceeded to provide an explanation regarding Shaoyangzhugu based on this. Conclusions : Shaoyangzhugu in Huangdineijing is a function to maintain homeostasis of the skeleton of the whole body by Shaoyang's pivot function.

Jing point in the order of frequency of use, expel wind-evil and remove wetness-evil on the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy of Arthalgia Syndrome.

After the author of 'Luxinjing' explained the children's characters using the concept of Pure-Yang, the term has been widely exploited in the literature of Oriental pediatrics, Its meaning could be summed up in three general categories, namely: Shengyang(盛陽), Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) and Shaoyang(少陽). The implications of Pure-Yang were different in each dynasties of China. By the early Qing(淸) period, it meant mostly Shengyang(盛陽), but its meaning moved in the direction of Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) after Wu Jutong(吳鞠通). And this movement in the interpretation of this term was largely triggered by the pharmaceutical concerns of doctors as too much medicine of cooling and gastrointestinal effect was used to 'cool off' the over-charged Yang characters(盛陽) of children, causing considerable detrimental side effects to the children's body. The concept of Zhiyinzhiyang(稚陰稚陽) which emphasizes the fragility of children's body thus came in action. The meaning of physiological terms in Oriental Medicine is essentially linked to its clinical applications as we have seen in the case of Pure Yang. In that respect, the recent interpretation of Pure-Yang as Shaoyang(少陽) among physicians in China seems lacking in its crucial counterpart, which is its clinical applications. No theory can prove fruitful in the absence of its practice.

This paper presents nonlinear vibration analysis of a composite cylindrical shell. The core of the shell is made of functionally graded (FG) porous materials and layers is fabricated of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced nanocomposites. To increase the accuracy of results, neutral surface position is considered. First-order shear deformation theory is used as displacement field to derive the basic relations of equation motions. In addition, von-Karman nonlinear strains are employed to account geometric nonlinearity and to enhance the results' precision, the exact position of the neutral surface is considered. To governing the partial equations of motion, the Hamilton's principle is used. To reduce the equation motions into a nonlinear motion equation, the Galerkin's approach is employed. After that the nonlinear motion equation is solved by multiple scales method. Effect of various parameters such as volume fraction and distribution of CNTs along the thickness directions, different patterns and efficiency coefficients of porous materials, geometric characteristics and initial conditions on nonlinear to linear ratio of frequency is investigated.

The research on the Olympic mathematics education has become an internationally recognized educational activity. In some cities of China, especially big cities, the Olympic mathematics education is developing like raging fire. Many parents send their children to training school to get the Olympic mathematics education, no matter whether the children are willing to or not. They hope that through the training, their children can be outstanding when entering higher school. However, this practice has deeply affected children's learning initiative. In this paper, we analyzed both the history and the present situation of the Olympic mathematics education in China. We have some suggestions based on the problems emerging nowadays.

This paper discuss the acupoints and flowing of channel. The Acupoints issued from the Foot Taiyin channel's energy are seventy three. The acupoints issued from the Foot Shaoyang channel's energy are sixty two. The acupoints issued from the Foot Yangming channel's energy are sixty eight. The acupoints issued from the Hand Taiyang channel's energy are thirty six. The acupoints issued from the Hand Yangming channel's energy are twenty two. The acupoints issued from the Hand Shaoyang channel's energy are thirty two. The acupoints issued from the Du channel's energy are twenty eight. The acupoints issued from the Ren channel's energy are twenty eight. The acupoints issued from the Chong channel's energy are twenty two. The acupoints issued from the Foot Shaoyin channel are the Lianquan points of kidney channel on each side under the tongue. The total points above amount of three hundred and sixty five. Urinary Bladder Channel of Foot-Taiyang: The number of acupoints is 67. Gall Bladder Channel of Foot-Shaoyang: The number of acupoints is 44. Stomach Channel of Foot-Yangming: The number of acupoints is 45.

Sasang Constitutional Medicine focuses on the different constitutional manifestations of the individual's nature and emotions. The nature and emotions drive the ascending and descending of Qi in the body. And this dynamics of the Qi's ascent and descent shapes the different types of structures, functions and temperaments. Although Sasang Constitutional Medicine has many advantages, its diagnosis of the constitution still depends on the doctors' own idea and has no objective identification. So many doctors in Korea have been trying to solve this problem. Recently, there are several efforts to find out the relationship between genetic information and constitution. By the way, May, 1998 there is a astonishing report about the gene which determines the human performance, that is ACE(angiotensin converting enzyme). And it suggests that the I allele was associated with improved endurance performance. ACE has three genotype including II, ID and DD. "I" means insertion and "D" means deletion. We determined the type of the Sasang constitution with QSCCII questionaire and the one's ACE genotype with PCR of the 127 people and we discovered the relationship between the constitution and the ACE genotype. The result is as follow. Among 39 people who have the II genotype, 7(18%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 9(23.1%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 23(59%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). Among 62 people who have the ID genotype, 18(29%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 21(33.9%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 23(37.1%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). Among 26 people who have DD genotype, 11(42.3%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 4(15.4%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 11(42.3%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). This data indicates that there are implicable relationship between the Sasang constitution and ACE genotype. Especially people who have II genotype have much possibility to be a Soeum(Shaoyin) person (59%) and Soyang(Shaoyang) person have less possibility to have DD genotype (15.4%). With this conclusion, we suggest further study of relationship between the Sasang constitution and ACE genotype and we think that other polymorphism can be a candidate of the partner of Sasang constitution.

By employing the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we derive a sufficient condition for the existence and attractricity of a positive periodic solution for a generalized predator-prey model with diffussion feedback controls.
